2361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 03, 2016, 02:33:40 AM
For me yes in fact it helps to me to pay our bills like monthly payment for internet, electricity and for apartment.
And also use it for buying foods and stuffs. bitcoins is really fast to withdraw just like a normal Atm debit card
That you can withdraw it into fiat instantly..

Yes, same here. For me, it is real money as I managed to earn the salary for which I work for in an office for a month.
Currently, I manage to make a good amount of profit just by trading but now I'm planning to even invest in sites which can earn me more BTC and then I can withdraw it for fiat cash.
2362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year? on: January 02, 2016, 06:27:05 PM
I think it would not reach the $600, but if it is very possible to reach $500.

Yes, It can reach max $500 by January and then I have a feeling that it may reduce back to $450 again as this has been the trend since November 2015. The price has never gone up to $480 as well and so I don't think $600 is achievable in this month. May be by next month we can again reach $600 and then it can increase up to $800. Hope that happens.
2363  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: January 02, 2016, 06:20:45 PM
when price down, ,like at february or march 2015..

But when considering the upcoming halving, the current prices are very good price to buy bitcoin right now. Because the prices are getting double in quick time period than you can expect. But if you have bought bitcoin two-month back it would be much cheaper than today's price.
2364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: January 02, 2016, 06:07:21 PM
Money is not really everything for what I gamble.the prime motive for what I gamble is to win.I place small amounts or sometimes without money just to enjoy the feeling I won.Winning stakes makes me happy and all this is entertaining for me.

But I believe it does not guaranteed  that all the capital into gambling, will not get us any profits. If you have enough knowledge and strategies then we can make profit from gambling along with the pleasure of gambling.
If you're not good enough to gamble then we need to understand money is not everything only the the fun activities.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: January 02, 2016, 05:02:12 PM
Since greed is a perfect normal human thing i can say I am greedy.
A little less then the average I would say, but for me it is still too much.

Like you i feel every little bit of greed is too much.
When i got money i try to give it away.

Being humble is the way to keep greed away.

But after a quite long experience with gambling, I'm not at all greedy. While gambling, I keep aside my emotions and am more practical while betting/bidding. While playing casino games, I find it easier to win but with matches, the betting amount is high due to which I don't waste time in them and hence my risks are very less which makes me less greedy.
2366  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: December 31, 2015, 08:38:54 AM
depend on price in 20 or more years
but some round number would be fine like 500 BTC in stock

With 500 BTC in stock after 20 years, you would be a multi billionaire as per my predictions. After 20 years, one bitcoin must be worth more than 10 million, I guess only one bitcoin or hardly 2 are more than enough to retire  in 20 years.
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: December 31, 2015, 04:09:07 AM
All casinos only need time before they can clean you out.  If you notice, casinos do not have clocks and their windows are always pitch dark.  You can not tell if it is day or night.  It's just a matter of time before they will empty your pockets if you do not have the patience to leave while you're ahead.  Also, the free alcohol doesn't help either.    Wink

Yes.
The obvious reason many gamblers turn into losses in long run must be they are losing control over their emotions. Following all the plans and disciplines in long term is not possible for all the gamblers. When they are breaching their determined plan they are facing losses.
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 31, 2015, 03:57:10 AM
New Zealand vs Sri Lanka, 3rd ODI

sri lanka will win the match ?

SL could win this match ,NZ struggling with 171 for the loss of 5 wickets, hope NZ could reach 230 to 240, if so its going to be interesting.

But NZ manage to recover well from that fall. Now they are 276 runs in 50 overs with loss of 8 wickets. I think this score is good enough for NZ bowlers to defend. SL is struggling to bat in NZ since from the start of the series so I don't think SL will win this match.

Sri Lanka openers are playing like they are playing with rubber ball, gunatilak is batting very nice, sri lanka is batting at the run rate of 9 if they keep this run rate for more than 15 overs than confirm they are going to win this match.

New Zealand is strugling with bowling they are not able to find the solution to break the openers, and mostly this ground is chasing friendly here most of the matches are chased .

Yes, Sri Lanka are on top so far in this match. But I could not understand why New Zealand wanted to bat first even they are fully aware of chasing is so easy in this ground. Any way, if Sri Lanka could capitalize the initial push given by Gunathilaka, they can win this match.

After got humiliated in their previous match, this match is a must win for Sri Lanka to stay alive in this series. They are currently in their half way mark. They have scored 138 runs in 21 overs and they still need 139 runs from last 29 overs with 9 wickets in hand. But beating New Zealand on their home ground must be tough task.
2369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during december? on: December 30, 2015, 03:49:38 AM
Not yet, but wait for the first 7 days of the new year and you will see something happening

Yes there are lot of possibilities to test $500 levels in the first week of 2016. Because many people are waiting for the new year to invest into bitcoin ecosystem.
Already someone here has mentioned bitcoin already reached the $500 levels if you consider +/- 10% price fluctuations.

Yes that's the right point. Because the commodities always fluctuating with it's prices. So, when you consider 10% price negotiations, bitcoin already tested twice $500 levels in 2015 itself.
I also wait for new year for new money flowing into bitcoin ecosystem to make bitcoin more stronger.
2370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that Satoshi is still active on Bitcointalk.org? on: December 29, 2015, 07:31:06 AM

I think he several times saw and review of this forum, perhaps with newbie accounts or anonymous
nobody knows

Yes it could be, even satoshi may not nickname of a person but a miraculous person, That's my guess. Because we do not really know him as a real person.
But I'm sure he would be active in this forum and watching the whole bitcoin ecosystem.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 28, 2015, 07:20:30 PM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?

yes it is true the safe method can make you will not necessarily lose a lot of money.
I always use safe methods in sports gambling and dice. although it does not always guarantee a win but good enough to not lose more.

Perfect. The safe way of gambling assists myself to continue my gambling without any big losses to loose all my investment at once. Without safe ways of gambling I was thrown away from gambling so often which has forced we to invest again and again into gambling to continue with gambling.
2372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: December 28, 2015, 06:55:12 PM

But if just about money then people wouldn't gamble at all since there are better ways to make money in life. It must be partly about making quick easy money and the fun of the actual games. Why else have different games?

If you play in gambling is not about of money. You just play it just for fun or hobby.
But you need money to start in the games and the possibility of your money will be lost.

You should not consider your money is lost, it is just paid for the fun activities for your hobby. That's what the OP is trying to emphasize here.
You need money to start gambling, to continue again need, you enjoy the pleasure of gambling you still need. When you loose your money, them gambling does not need you.
2373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we spread Bitcoin effectively. on: December 28, 2015, 04:12:19 PM
We need first to promote bitcoin much more in the public, specially we should try to explain and educate merchants why bitcoin is good for their business.
We also need media on our side (maybe send them some presentations about bitcoin), even we should try to teach about bitcoin in the schools etc.
It's long and complicate process but only in this way people can become positive about bitcoin, confident and start using it.
Eventually, bitcoin will become mainstream, many people will use it on daily basis and we will see also price increase etc.
If we don't help bitcoin nothing will happen.

Yes spreading the awareness and advantages of bitcoin to merchants would help for bitcoin getting accepted in many business. That will simply give people some idea to get bitcoin and to use in those business.
But many merchants are easily not getting convinced compared to the common people. This is the fact the merchants needs to risk more amounts than a buyer comparatively.
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 28, 2015, 03:04:35 PM
I sure am holding the BTC for a price rise, I'm not holding allot but I think BTC has a very decent chance of increasing in price and don't want to miss that.

That is a good way to earn fast rather that other investment or the risk of loaning it. Just let it stay there and let it rise and see your dollars go up without even doing anything. Just courage and hope it will go rise.

Need to agree that without any risk of losing any single Satoshi, we can grow in value just by sitting calm. But we need patient to wait if the bitcoin praises go in reverse. But in long term, bitcoin price is always will go up and will fetch more profits just by holding our bitcoins.
2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 02:46:17 PM
as i am selling digital stuffs online, it is very hard to use paypal. it is cause it is very buyer protection and it is very hard to win against a file from the buyer. i have sold an item for $1200 and end up it is being taken away. there is also a lot of scam going on in paypal becuz credit cards r too easy stolen etc.

in addition, bitcoin transfer is fast and it is one of the lowest fee if i need to deal with ppl from another country.

Yes, for us consumers it is hard to see the bad sites of paypal,
But  paypal users can really give merchants a hard time. Not only because of the high fees, but also the scams happening.

Clearly bitcoin is the winner.

Yes very rarely we can see Paypal is merchant's friendly. Many merchants find that Paypal's fees are very high and very often they are getting their account freeze for six months. This kind of situation for making many merchants to switch over to bitcoin to get many freedoms.
2376  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 28, 2015, 02:16:55 PM
I suppose allot of girls are using BTC, but they don't merely announce they are girls in forum etc... (that will mostly draw suspicion or insults to them), there were girls in BTC conferences so I suppose there are ones using it.

In my opinion though, I believe ladies who use bitcoin are great ladies of earth. It is not easy to make a woman believe they always have questions after the answers. But if it will all be answered they can be hooked too and they are the ones who can profit more. Specially in this signature campaign here.

You are right usually girls will ask more questions about new technology before adopting it. If we are capable to answer all the questions to make them to adopt bitcoin then there were more girls to use bitcoin by this time.
The funny fact is most of the questions would be more imaginary. We need to answer those in imaginary way but most of the men usually fail at this point.
2377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: December 28, 2015, 01:53:41 PM
I would like to pay with Bitcoin in ordinary shops for goods and meal. This is a biggest problem I see now. But I am happy to see more and more merchants allow it.

I believe you can solve your big problem of bitcoin by ordering a bitcoin debit card, with the bitcoin debit card you can use it anywhere like in small hotel and grocery shops.
Bitcoin debit card more useful to break the barriers like only the online merchants accepting bitcoin.
2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 28, 2015, 12:22:30 PM
England VS SA test match

SA all our for just 214 runs and now England started second innings and scored 36 runs for lose of one wicket. I think it's worth Hales having a bit of a blast here, a quick 50/60 would really put England in the driving seat. This session of game is very important for England, they should add at least another 250 runs to take this match.

I believe England are already in driver seat by taking decent lead in the first innings. Another 200+ runs in this second innings and setting a target of 300+ for South Africa will make more chances for England to win this first test match of this series.
2379  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 27, 2015, 07:04:42 AM
Good job... Quit gambling as early as possible. That's the wisest decision you can make.
but it may reduce earnings, but it is good if you rarely or never won gambling  Grin

When the gambler was able to make some earning then he will never think about quitting.
The never won gamblers always will be forced one day or other to quit gambling when they run out of money. But that kind of situations they will face after sold out their property and with many loans.
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: December 27, 2015, 06:50:48 AM
I think it's all about the game you choose.

For instance let's say you choose sports betting. The house gets his profit from making a good book, but players get a profit to if they know what they are doing.

Also there are many ways of bringing added value to your bets like promotions.
I have a great example of added value with the IV Tipsters Championship promotion, sponsored by direcbet.

You can collect up to 1.9 BTC in prizes plus the profit you already have from your bets (you get 100 mBTC just for participating).
So this is a clear example that there are advantages for players, and not just for houses.

Here is the registration link:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1248467.0

Actually as I can say this is not the advantages of gambling but this is just some kind of promotions that they make just to attract more people to join their site. I admit it this is a great promotion by but mostly gambling will never earn you anything except you are so luck that hit jackpot couple of times

I too do not see these type of promotions as an advantages that we can enjoying by being a gambler. The freebies are getting promoted for the reason of making ourselves to stick with gambling sites. That is not at all and real advantage. May be if the promotion money is purely eligible for withdraw then we can categorize it as an advantage.
