Manchester United has been damned, I think they need a good motivation ahead of this fixtures.
They know their problems but failing to solve, right from the head to the top.
They the owners are not just ready for success, I see it's now a team for gambling.
It's embarrassing to see that the team I fan is in this situation it's a phase and I know they will go through this one.
I don't see Manchester United making top 4 at the end of the season ahead of these consistent Arsenal side. Although, Arsenal haven't beat any of the top 6 side but it doesn't matter thus far. Arteta have been able to help them navigate their season to the right course and to be fair, Manchester united don't deserve been in the top 4. Manchester United inconsistency is too loud for a team that should be in European competition.
2362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 20, 2022, 07:41:12 PM
This Real Madrid and Barcelona tie is supposed to have two keyplayers to watch out for. Karim Benzema and Aubameyang but sadly, Benzema has been ruled out. He has had a direct hand in more goals than any other player in Europe's top leagues this season. It's just a shame Madrid won't be having his services tonight but they are still lucky to have Vinicius Jnr who's getting more better every game. The Barcelona's team have their main man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has scored 7 goals so far for the team, this Barcelona team is stronger going into this match so I will give a narrow win against Madrid.

Must one necessarily suffer before he/she could be successful in life?
Not necessarily. In my experience, most victims of scams usually learn from the experience and become wiser.

-Was it by selection or by election?
-If it was by selection, is it a permanent selection till something happens to the user or a temporary selection that is done periodically?
I think Theymos chooses who becomes moderator. I don't think there is a public ceremony when one becomes moderator.
-Say i aspire to become a moderator someday, is there any possibility to this, and if yes, what are the criteria's for this achievement?
You have to accurately report a huge amount of spam posts, plagiarism threads e.t.c. you have more chances of becoming a moderator in your local board since you understand the language better than general moderators who may not be from your country. Moderators have a lot of work on their plate, their work load is huge and I don't think they get paid for the work.

I'm not expecting Sevilla to keep their current place in the standings until the final week of the season. They are already ten points behind Real Madrid and I believe they will lose their faith in winning the La Liga title this season. And this will cause them to make more mistakes most probably. This can be a big opportunity for Barcelona to leave them behind. The gap might seem as five points but one shouldn't forget about an important thing that Barcelona still have a game missing also.
Yes, Barcelona are in good position to embrace the La Liga champion title, if they can maintain this strategies that is giving them victory. Barcelona are not ready to lose any match at this period, that to use everything possible to win all their missing matches to achieve all their points that will give the  fans more hope that they are very close to achieve the title from this tournament. Barcelona are still ahead of real Madrid in this tournament which will be difficult for real Madrid to achieve this season title because their performance was good from the beginning compare now.
I still think Barcelona will lose to Real Madrid on sunday. Their pressing is a joke and they leave plenty of spaces behind which will give Vinicius Jnr the opportunity to feast on them. Barcelona fans will just have to be optimistic that can get something out of the game believing their recent form will continue.  If they don't beat Madrid, it will be the sixth consecutive loss against Madrid and that's not good for their reputation as a club.

Sorry, I don't feel like you. The Barcelona team has been able to improve themselves incredibly. They are consistently winning. The important thing is that you will notice that their gameplay is much sorted now. Did you see Barcelona's goal against Galatasaray yesterday? They have applied the tiki-taka strategy of the past. Their gameplay is excellent now. As a team, they are strong now. If the match is the home match of Real Madrid. Still, I'm looking forward to a competitive match.
I won't call that style tiki-taka, maybe Xavi's variation of the play. Barcelona have been winning games no doubt. But are they strong enough to defeat Real Madrid. Madrid have convincingly dominated la Liga this season, they are top of the table. I believe you watched the way Benzema and Vini Jr. play together, I'm afraid Barcelona cannot stop these guys

Juventus performance was no where near good in the Champions League.
If that is repeated in the Seria A game's I'll be very angry, they didn't put up a good performance.
I see the visitors will come here hoping to get a win, because Juventus lost woefully in the champions league and they will be low in confidence as a result if this game.
It is really a shame how Juventus have fallen. They were once feared by many teams in Europe but these days they are no where near their least performance of their glory days. I think their woes started when they let go of Pogba and Vidal;  those two players were instrumental for their style of play then but since they left, the struggle began. They were slightly better when Ronaldo joined but said some fans and club decision makers thought he was limiting them, Ronaldo's gone and they are worse now.

Banks to report deposits of more than N5m to EFCC

The economic financial crimes commission is a fraud institution. They ignore politicians who steal millions and billions of naira everyday right under their noses. They are only functional when it comes to the masses. The new bill states bank will reports any individual account that deposit more than N5m and N10m for corporate accounts. After so many years the same issues Baba Fela protested against in his time are still happening today. This bill is going to affect individual businesses, I normally use online banks for my large deposits and withdrawals, I have a debit card issued to me by the bank. Traditional commercial banks charge more and perform less, this new bill makes me trust them less. Bitcoin is the alternative to traditional banks, you can save your money in Usdt or bitcoin. But how do we convert our bitcoin to fiat without raising red flags?

source
It's not only transactions it also entails if your account hold five million naira and above. Anyone who has more than 5M in holdings is a suspect of criminal activity. The politicians have structured this country to make sure the poor remain poor and the elites maintain their rule. Asuu is on strike, there is poor power supply, bad roads, insecurity, poor health care. I'm sick and tired of the thieves we put in Aso Rock.

This week bad luck or better the worst luck has been seen in the game of yesterday between Juventus vs Villareal.Juventus did a lot of attacking and dominated the game until that 78th minute that completely turned things around. The real hero of Villareal was the goalkeeper and not any midfielder or attacker, they just took profit of a great counter attack which was turned into a goal and that was all.I say worse luck because there is a non written saying in football which is "if you don't score, you will concede no matter how good you play" and that is exactly what happened yesterday night.
Villarreal showed talent and moreso, the spirit of relentless and team loyalty in their approach to the game; the team played like they trusted themselves. Their confidence was high and are well deserved winners, Juventus has played most games this season having luck on their sides but you can't always be hoping luck will be on your side every game. It's a shame that Juventus have been knocked out of the Champions League in successive seasons by Ajax, Lyon, Porto & Villarreal. These four clubs are seemingly not deemed big enough for sides live Juventus. Probably, they should have stick with Saarri intead bring back Allegri. They looked better last season compared to this.

Honestly, you didn't watch the last El Clásico (Supercopa de España). Real Madrid won it in Extra Time, but Barcelona did play very well. In fact, so many people were impressed that Barcelona could pull off such a performance, even when not so many people gave them a chance.
It seems like you're right, he didn't watch the match and that's reflected in how he comments. El Clasico is always difficult for both teams because the rivalry between these two teams has been the reason for the rigor of the match. Real Madrid have won many El Clasico so far but that doesn't mean people can think Barcelona are very bad even though the quality of the two teams in recent seasons is very different.

Barcelona have lost their best time as a number of players have left the club, financial problems, bad management as well as the quality of the coach who cannot encourage the team's motivation to win the match. But Xavi's presence has brought a breath of fresh air where the team's performance has improved and they have been getting a lot of attention again of late. But it is still not entirely convincing because Barcelona must prove that they are capable of winning El Clasico even if the quality of the players it has is not commensurate with Real Madrid.

I think this season El Classico will be Barcelona's most outstanding game, it will be pivotal in defining their top 4 hopes this season. Xavi and the boys have been super impressive lately and I think Xavi been a club legend understands better what this game means; hopefully he would be able to communicate it to his players and give them necessary motivation. They will be hoping to capitalize on the fact that Real Madrid top striker, Benzema will not be fully fit having picked up an injury prior to this game.

Manchester City can easily win the UEFA champion's league, what has been against them so far is the lack of experience to compete in the finals stage. The truth is on paper, that team is formidable and having Pep Guardiola as the coach makes it more exciting. In my honest opinion, I think they are ready ; they should have learned from the previous champions league seasons. Remember, Chelsea was once like City in the UEFA champions league before they could crack the code. I would like to give Manchester City a chance to win the title.

Manchester United and Ajax both lost yesterday. It may  come as a shock to many fans because Ajax is believed to be a team with strong football culture

I like this quote, I think it's quite revealing that when Man U and Ajax lose, the surprise is that Ajax lose. No-one is surprised that Man U have lost.

Man U have some great individual players, but are not a team. They look disjointed, and rudderless, just a bunch of 11 strangers who happen to wear the same colour shirt. Pit them against a good team, and they will struggle. The answer is probably a permanent rather than temp manager, and then getting in players to fit into a team, rather than just players who are individually gifted but don't fit together properly. I think they can write this season off now, they are out of the Champions League and have little hope of qualifying for next season's competition... Man C, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal will take the qualification spots.
The Manchester United team is broken like shattered glass. They need a manager who can pick up the pieces and put them together or replace the glass. I'm beginning to see Ralf Rangnick as a victim here, Manchester United have been falling apart before he came to the club. It is amazing Arsenal who had a bad start to the season made top 4 and Manchester United didn't.
2374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 16, 2022, 01:10:13 PM
It was such a shocking night for Ajax and Manchester United. I really didn't give any chance to lose for Ajax here. It was like a miracle to me. This is football of course and everything can happen. But Ajax have always seemed to be a very strong team in their home matches. In fact, they played really good here but somehow couldn't score even one goal. Benfica were struggling a lot and didn't find many chances as well. They had only 4 shots in total and 1 of them was on target. And still, they managed to win this by 1-0 and advanced to next round. And as for Manchester United, they were the victim of their defense problems once again and this cost them the Champions League.
Manchester United and Ajax both lost yesterday. It may  come as a shock to many fans because Ajax is believed to be a team with strong football culture but critically looking at the Benfica team, I think they are leveled with Ajax. Moreso, this Benfica were impressive all round. They could contain the Ajax side and score that crucial goal to win the match.
2375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 16, 2022, 01:03:16 PM
I Think Liverpool didn’t hold MSalah such a high salary.Probably Mohammad Salah would not stay In Liverpool without his demand salary.Barcelona looking for Haaland and Neymar i think so but they don't interested to return Messi.Xavi doing very well for Barcelona, Aubameyang is good sign for Barcelona and showed his real performance.

I think it's not just about money for players like Salah. Whether he earns a few hundred thousand more elsewhere is not compensated for when you have a team in which you fit perfectly and a coach who appreciates what you can do. If Salah were to move, he'd be starting almost from scratch somewhere else, where there's no guarantee that he'd be as comfortable as he is at Liverpool, or even that he'd fit into the system.
Mohammed has been the best player in this Liverpool side in recent years and even so, arguably one of the best in the world. Increase of his wages shouldn't be a big deal. Although, some may want to argue that age isn't in his favor but truth is the lad is delivering for the club so the board should consider that in the contract. I don't see Selah leaving Liverpool anytime soon unless the club don't want to renew his contract. His career took flight when he joined that team.
2376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 16, 2022, 12:52:05 PM
Indeed! A Hard Luck!
Atletico won the game however Manchester United truly gave extreme battle.
The energy and want to win was superb. Some of the time you don't have karma however I watched the players truly battling until end. Karma has it's cutoff, they have rode on karma on a few events yet not this time. However, changing managers not the answer to this team building rather a winning team is the big thing and it requires time. I wish Man United will bring in a good defender next season.
Extreme fighting? I don't think it's appropriate to represent Manchester United's performance last night. Manchester United just tried to play well but they didn't manage to create many good chances during the game so they didn't score.

Atletico Madrid didn't win by chance either, but they did everything well with their defense and attack much more organized than Manchester United. Atletico Madrid deserved to win even though they were not the favorites in that match. Atletico Madrid's qualification to the quarter-finals was something that surprised me because they didn't impress in many games. Solid defense and good finishing earned them a win against Manchester United.
Manchester United couldn't play yesterday, for the first time, Christaino Ronaldo didn't have a shot in a UEFA champions league match. Ronaldo was literally invisible. Whilst bunch of United players were average, Frederico Rodrigues was quite outstanding. Overall, Athletico were a far better than Manchester United and are well deserved winners. Same goes for Benfica against Ajax, although most bookmakers favored ajax before the game.
2377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 16, 2022, 12:48:54 PM
Arsenal - Liverpool match is a really hard-to-predict one today. Because we can't overlook Arsenal's big effort in the recent times also. They have improved their performance so much that they are really believing that they can finish the season as the fourth team in the standings at least. Liverpool must get ready well for this match. They are still the favourite side to win this of course. As Arsenal don't have a top striker now, they can have big problems on scoring against a team like Liverpool. But I still feel like both of them will find at least one goal.
This fixture is a dicey one. We have Arsenal that have won five games  impressively and are strong contender for the race of top 4 ; and there is Liverpool who want to close in on Manchester City and they have been unbeaten in eight games. Both teams has a lot at stake in this game but will be rooting for Arsenal. The fear most Arsenal fans have is that the team is pretty young, inexperience in games of this magnitude and they seemingly lack leadership. These three factors can give Liverpool the advantage over them.
2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 16, 2022, 12:42:42 PM
I also believe that it shouldn't be too hard for Barcelona to take Sevilla's place in the remaining weeks of this season. But on the other hand, Barcelona have a big hindrance ahead of them this week. It is an El Clasico match in Santiago Bernabeu. And we all know how solid Real Madrid players are recently. They are believing in themselves one hundred percent and I feel confident that they will play better than Barcelona here. But Barcelona are definitely not an easy target anymore. I expect a very tough rivalry in this but I think Real Madrid can win by one goal.
The truth is Barcelona are nowhere close to where they used to be. They have just been terrible for sometime hence Xavi coming in and they are playing better gives most fans that they are back but if we look critically, they will fall short of the standard of an ideal Barcelona team. Xavi still have a lot of work to do before Barcelona return to their glory days

Transfer rumours:

Erling Braut Haaland's priority this summer is a move to Spain with Real Madrid or Barcelona, despite reports claiming the 21-year-old Norway and Borussia Dortmund striker has a deal in place to join Manchester City. So Spain after all, not England. Is it possible for Mbappe and Haaland to play in the same club?
Barcelona president Joan Laporta says they will not sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland this summer if the transfer risks putting the club in financial danger. Is this another confirmation that Haaland is going to Real?
Coach Mauricio Pochettino and France striker Kylian Mbappe, 23, are set to lead the high-profile exits from Paris St-Germain this summer. There are rumors that Messi wants to leave too. Is the expensive PSG team falling apart?
Zinedine Zidane has been tipped to replace Mauricio Pochettino as PSG coach and is looking at making signings from former club Real Madrid, including 30-year-old Brazil midfielder Casemiro. Does that mean that Zidane gave up leading the French national team?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/60729337
I strongly believe Haaland will end up at Manchester City and he will do so well. Pep Guardiola structure will suit him well plus he's a very fit player and would adapt to the EPL style of play quickly. Manchester City has the money to spend to get him and for sure, Dortmund will gladly receive offer for him. I think Barcelona are out of the equation already following the financial implication of acquiring the services of the player would cost. City major rival for the chase will be Real Madrid, there are rumors that Real Madrid might be interested in getting Erling too.
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 15, 2022, 01:23:27 PM
Lewandowski future seems very interesting because most of people will predict he will leave Bayern this summer and the recent rumour is Man Utd linked to him but seems this will not be easy because Man City also want him too and probably if this rumour true then Lewandowski most likely will choose Man City instead of Man Utd this because he has good relationship with Man City manager Guardiola and they have been worked together before while Guardiola still in Bayern
Manchester United can wish to have Lewandowski but I strongly doubt he would want to consider joining them. The player have the ambition to win the Ballon d'or and joining United will be a major setup. Rumors are having it that he'd want a Madrid move but since Mbappe set to sign for them, it is clear they won't need Lewandowski services. So, the next  likely option will be Manchester City; they have a world-class coach and a great team that can beat any club easily.
