Grumble....

Sent some DOGE to Vircurex to trade but now my BTC is stuck Sad

It is not frozen...but when I try to withdraw it logs me out and gives an error about pop-up blocker or URL change.

I signed up today so didn't have anything there before now.

You may be able to buy back your DOGE, send them to Cryptsy and change them to BTC, you will take a loss, but you will at least be 'out'.

I'm sure Vircurex is banking on it. Wink

The douchebag banksters have been using the same playbook for centuries.
2363  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: March 24, 2014, 04:32:56 AM
It appears that 'available' also means 'frozen'. Every time I attempt a withdrawal, I get logged out and this popup/url error.

My recent deposit is MIA aswell..

Very well put, Peter.

Trust me guys.. I would not have bothered to log in, had that update been made available on the bookmarked page. Here is what I see after clicking on Vircurex's bookmark..

Verrrry sneaky..

Check out the new 'frozen balance' column..

2368  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WARNING ! Vircurex is freezing your BTC, LTC, FTC, TRC. on: March 24, 2014, 01:09:42 AM
"Vircurex is freezing your BTC, LTC, FTC, TRC."

The title of this thread is misleading. Vircurex isn't "freezing" anyone's BTC, LTC, FTC, TRC. They are refusing to honor the IOUs which they issued when someone deposited their BTC, LTC, FTC, TRC.

If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.

I didn't choose that wording.. they did.

Btw.. this update did not appear until after I cleared the browser cookies..

After my initial attempts to withdrawal BTC failed, I bought some FTC. I have since sent 0.234xx BTC which has yet to appear on my account.

Frozen Funds

In preparation of the following, we have with immediate effect stopped the possibilities to withdraw BTC, LTC, FTC and TRC. All incoming deposits will also not be credited to the users accounts for the time being.

On 24th March 2014 we will be freezing the current BTC, LTC, TRC and FTC accounts, then perform the below distribution of the available coins and reenable deposits and withdrawals. This action will also require us to delete all open sell orders for BTC, LTC, FTC and TRC.

SCREW YOU vircurex ! RETURN MY COINS !

Stop supporting every piece of shit that comes out!!

Stop fucking mining every god damn coin. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
You people are ruining the altcoin market.
There is not enough money in the market for all these coins to rise in price. Every hash you put towards shit copycoins like this is a hash taken away from more deserving coins.

Lower hashrate = lower difficulty = lower price = lower adoption.

Fucking fuck, you people make me sick!

Yes, I'm fucking butthurt. Coins are down across the board because of this shit.
Just stop it.
If its got nothing new or innovative, say no.
If everyone stuck to a handful of deserving innovative coins, those coins would all rise in price and everyone would benefit.
Instead you guys spread us too thinly over everything.

If you mine a litecoin copy with no new features in 2014 you are a fucking tool.

This is the truth

This is probably the same douche dev that cloned the original MPL.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=288690.0

I wasted several weeks mining that hoser's shit.

A bot has been found to be gaming the email interest mechanism.   On March 17, nearly 100,000 new interest emails where submitted.   Stakes therefore attained using the email only interest will be effectively terminated and parties that use only FaceBook and Twitter are to be honored.   We will examine the emails to determine which emails to honor.

I noticed a couple of pages of pledge spam with brand new Bitcoin Talk accounts as well at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=429399.240 . Wonder if they're running Scrapebox?

Someday FC/solracx will be held morally/ legally accountable for their puppets and spam bots.

2379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy could have prevented the Colossuscoin sell-off...... on: March 17, 2014, 01:46:32 PM
With so little demand, what did you expect ?

They're just trying to dump the billions in PoS generated COL before it drops back down to 0.00000001.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin- 1.5.1 BIG, STRONG, and FRIENDLY [NEW OFFICIAL THREAD] on: March 17, 2014, 01:41:06 PM
the development of coin is not depend on the exchange marketing of cryptsy. if col is taken off  from cryptsy, and it can not resist the development of col.  because there will be another big market such as  cryptsy born.

the innovation and development  of col can not be resisted! the new website will come, the new wallet will come!
it will be changed day by day!

Agreed!

Just because craptsy is thinking about removing COL (I don't even know how certain that is), doesn't mean that COL will die. Far from it.
The development continues, and this coin just keeps getting better and better.

Also, don't forget that cryptsy is flooding the markets with total crapcoins. They keep adding pump&dump shitcoins on a weekly basis. It's ridiculous.
Yet, they want to remove a well established coin. They will want to have it back badly in 1 year, that's for sure!

Did mudder blackmail you guys into saying that ?  Roll Eyes
