The pictures on the craigslist posting are low-resolution but they give you an idea.  Some high-res pics might be in order, though.

You changed out an LED on the motherboard??  That's quite a risky procedure for cosmetics..

*drooling* over the SuperComputer motherboard!

This is a top notch rig!
2364  Economy / Goods / Re: Looking to Trade an 6990 for a CPU and GPU's on: December 21, 2011, 08:33:42 PM
what is the condition of the 6990?  reason for downgrading is.. to obtain said cpu?
That is the exact reason, Yes.
Condition:Currently mining at 910core 600mem (reaches 930 without touching volts but i dont like the temp) getting 410mash/core
Main MSI Sticker has been peeled off (reason: the adhesive was very bad and the sticker practically wasnt even "stuck" so i just took it off)
Has been mining 24/7 problem free for four and a half months
OK well I have some cards for trade, I don't know how you want to work this..  You need that CPU, so..  welll.... come to think about it... i have a $73 Newegg.ca gift card (i live in canada too) that would make a good bargaining chip in this situation!

SETI!!  They were, in my eyes, the first popular distributed computing network and should never be forgotten!

I BELIEVE!!
2366  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which happens 1st: over 5 dollars or under 4 dollars? on: December 21, 2011, 06:47:08 PM
>5 !!!!!!

Wrong, we already went under 4.
Lol true, but it was barely hitting 4 at the time, I think it'll bounce around a bit and hit 5 by next week.

2368  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Now Here: Casascius 1000 BTC Fine Gold Coin on: December 21, 2011, 05:56:54 PM
I see this as being a very positive thing for bitcoin, not a negative.  If someone purchases 1000 BTC, that means there is more "money" in the bitcoin world and if it is sitting in a drawer somewhere being unspent, that is still "money" in the system.  It will bring up the value more, because the bitcoins will be purchased at market value.  It's like someone buying 1000 BTC on TradeHill and not spending it.  Plus people might have concerns with hacking or losing their bitcoin wallets in a computer crash, they know their bitcoins will be safe and sound in the sock drawer.

It's also a bit strange that the filesizes are so drastically different.  Did they really re-write the whole thing for a graphical change?  Mac OSX 0.4.1 is 4.08MB and 0.5.1 is 13.8MB.

Windows version also doubled in size, yet the Linux version shrunk a little.
2374  Other / Off-topic / Re: South Park: The Bitcoin Episode on: December 21, 2011, 05:08:52 PM
Using Flash I'm sure we could put together a South Park episode!  I got really excited when I saw the thread title...  That would REALLY boost bitcoin exposure!

Suggestions:
Satoshi Nakamoto is not Chef but GOD!

Theymos is Mayor McDaniels

SilkRoad is Towlie

Bill Cosby (a 'la CosbyCoin) is Saddam Hussein

Can I be Terrance/Phillip/Ike since I'm Canadian?

My tradehill API ticker died for like 6-12 hours yesterday (or the day before i cant remember) but it started working again.  It just said "timed out" instead of showing prices.
2377  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Why is bitlotto down? on: December 21, 2011, 04:07:18 PM
Who is your host if they randomly took it down?  And without warning?  Total BS!
2378  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [INTRODUCING] bitcoinforum.com on: December 21, 2011, 03:58:42 PM

2379  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Express -- an iOS thin client for bitcoin on: December 21, 2011, 03:33:58 PM
No longer working?  This project could revolutionize the bitcoin world forever, someone plz continue this and make it Android compatible!

edit: commented before reading Apple's rejection.  I think the big companies are truly afraid of bitcoin if they are calling it "illegal"!
2380  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: My suggestions on how to make a decent client on: December 21, 2011, 03:27:08 PM
I think 0.5.1 is great, personally.  I miss the 0.4.0 layout though, not many reasons to upgrade.  My opinion?  Make an update button in the GUI so people can upgrade their version with 1 click.

i tried 0.5.1 for a few days, but then decided to upgrade to 0.4.1.1.

There's a 0.4.1.1?  I thought it was just 0.4.1..
