2361  Economy / Securities / Re: Suggest me best and trusted, oldest site for btc investment. on: February 22, 2016, 03:39:48 PM
Try btcjam.com .You will love it. But most of the loans there are long terms investments .
I thought that BTCJam is good place but after reading some comments I am not so sure anymore:

Avoid it if you can. The site is full of scammers and it's a no surprise if you will get a negative profit after quite sometime.
If you want to invest in lending I sugest you go to btcpop or bitbond. They have options for collateral and the administration does their best to secure any loan. Another way is to invet in the lending section in this forum. Always ask for a collateral if you are lending big amount of coins

Apparently btcpop and bitcond are similar services but with better management and administration. I will check on them some more myself to see if that is actually the case here.
2362  Economy / Gambling / Re: Try luck on: February 22, 2016, 03:20:15 PM
but the stat is from start to primedice? Because Hufflepuff can have wagered all this bitcoin when the bitcoin price not are at this level (over 400 $).
is possible see the stat for every year?
As far as I know these stats are not publicly avaiable, casino has access to it but they probably won't release it.

Hufflepuff cheated the system in August and September 2014 and Prime Dice lost around $1 million worth of bitcoin to that hacker then.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joca97 & CarlesPuyol Biggest Challenge made in Bitcointalk forum *Jar* on: February 22, 2016, 03:14:37 PM
To the dude questioning Joca - He's been around a long time & never once attempted to scam anybody. He wouldn't risk his reputation over 1 bitcoin.

This is internet and this is where most scams comes from. To remind and refresh your memory again, this is just a virtual world and virtual forum and your reputation here doesnt mean anything. There has been alot of cases where some reputable member of this forum has pulled an exit scam in the forum

Using that kind of logic means everyone is a potential scammer and you can't trust anyone, which is a bit extreme.
Like the other guys said Joca97 is known figure on this forum and sportsbetting sites, he might lose the bet but he won't runaway with yr money.
That is exactly why I will wait and see how this project will develop. If this will be a success (or at least it won't be major flop) after first round.
Then people might get interested, it is hard to start something new and fresh because fear of the scams is very strong in our community.
2364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Try luck on: February 22, 2016, 02:58:02 PM
Guys, don't get hyped on by that leader boards. Some of the stats are real and and trustworthy. But unfortunately there are couple of cheaters and exploiters on that record.
On that list are at least 3 cheaters that I am aware of (mainly Hufflepuff and his alts) and there might be more.
2365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exchanges & bot trading on: February 21, 2016, 06:14:53 PM
You will never know if exchanges are using bots to creating pump and dump scenarios. Increase volume and do bot trading in general.
It is not something that is forbidden in the first place, some people might find this unethical and wrong and some say it is good for 'health' of exchange's capacity.
2366  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Socialism is the key on: February 21, 2016, 05:21:27 PM
well I have to agree with your opinion about socialism, especially the part of greed and corruption which will end socialism. Living in a socialist country, I have to say corruption is at its worst. Everything needs some money to get it done fast and billions are stolen by corrupted officials
It is not the problem of socialism alone. Corruption is bane of any political system. Saying that in socialism corruption it is worse is usually untrue.
But seeing how socialists regimes of some countries are riddled with corruption is somewhat interesting. I have been reading about Venezuela recently.
Amount of problems caused by socialist government for this country created the biggest crisis in the history of this nation, coincidence?
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 21, 2016, 03:58:16 PM
Find a game where you can always win.

That way you wont be gambling, you will bet on sure things.
There is no way to find satisfying game where you can always win. Games designed that way are either too easy and not absorbing or plain boring.
But it is true that you need to find some activities to replace your gambling habits, absorbing hobby not related to any games would be great: sport, movies, literature.
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 21, 2016, 02:13:14 PM
Do you want to know the reason some of us gamble? Here is good proof: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1370925.0
Guy from this thread turned 1 BTC into 41.5 BTC! How awesome is that? Knowing that you are capable of feats like that is motivation by itself.
2369  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▀▄▀▄ BTCPerDay.xyz - Roll game 50% chance 200% payout | up to 6k/h faucet ▀▄▀▄ on: February 21, 2016, 02:05:32 PM
Quote
Every user is allowed to roll once per 500 miliseconds, otherwise will be banned and funds will be taken as donation!
BTCPerDay can switch win chance from 50% to 49% at any time for any amount of time!
Self-refealing is not allowed and your account will be banned!
To keep server's speed we removing game logs from time to time
We can change ToS in every time without informing you! This is your part to be always informed about rules

Well 50% is 0% house egde
Sometimes i will switch to 49% (which is still good in compare with other famous casinos)
I think you understand me

btw. Almost 500 000 games played over 3 days Smiley

I dont understand why you want to switch it to 49%, that means your site dont fully give us 0% house edge. 0% is for some short time only and later you will change it back to 1%. What is the different between you and other site then? This is like scam thing to keep on switching house edge from 0%-1%

Well your opinion is subjective since you own your gambling site
I can switch 49% cuz this stand is terms of service. Howover 90% of uptime is 50%
This is the difference between eg. your dice where is 49.5%, freebitocin where is 47.5%, rollin where on 50% chance you have 198% payout
First of all there is no thing like objective opinion. Every man has it's own truth.
And I personally don't think variable House Edge is even close to being a scam (as long as it is clearly stated in TOS and you are informed before you play how high is HE).
2370  Economy / Gambling / Re: I turned 1 BTC into 41.5 BTC! Now I want to withdraw... on: February 20, 2016, 02:29:59 PM
DO NOT play more games mate. Just withdraw your Bitcoins and enjoy the money. Congrats.
Good advice. But it is not necessary for him to cease gambling for good. It is just wise to not gamble with ALL his money.
If he still will be gambling with 1 BTC it is perfectly fine. Maybe he could win more?
PS. I see OP used classic martingale as your system. Nice Wink
2371  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: February 20, 2016, 02:05:49 PM
The problem with Opening post is that it is pure speculation, not really backed by real life events and paradigms. So what if gold market cap is xxx and bitcoin is xx?
These two commodities are not related in direct way whatsoever and while I (as probably everyone here on bitcointalk) agree that bitcoin price is underwhelming atm.
There is NO real evidence that we will reach $5000 anytime soon, and certainly not before 2020. (I wish I was wrong on this...)
2372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: February 20, 2016, 01:49:25 PM
Yes the price will gonna rise to 1000$ midyear 2016. Maybe it will not be for a long time but surely it will. So the best thing for now is to keep the coins save for few months and then sell them for a double price.
I think its impossible dude to rise $1000 on this year. i doubt about it. because no sign and no big issue
halving will not give big effect
And how can you be so sure about halving? Is not that we have compelling examples of this event being neutral to the price.
The Halving will have a major impact on the bitcoin price, let's pray it will be for the better.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Behaviors Lead to Gambling Addiction on: February 20, 2016, 01:30:55 PM
I would like to get some personal opinions for a class I am taking and I would like to know what behaviors lead people to develop a gambling problem.  Some people will start gambling for fun and others will start gambling thinking they are going to strike it rich.  I would like your opinions as to why this happens.

Adrenaline.

Studies found out that if you are very excited or rushed when you gamble, then you will probably gamble too much and lose, and get addicted to it.

The proper way to gamble is with calm music playing in the background, and a silent room, with no distractions.
Adrenaline is not the only thing what is causing you too be hooked on a gambling activities.
It is pleasure to feel rush an increased number of hormones in your head but mechanism is far more complicated.
It is a mixture of pleasure, anticipation, greed and lack of something in life that make you an addict.
2374  Economy / Gambling / Re: Degentalk 3 - NBA Futures & 2nd Half of Season w/ Tony on: February 20, 2016, 01:13:36 PM
Very good and informative video if you are NBA bettor. These guys know their stuff.
I like how these guys like Boston Celtics and think that this team is an underdog that could win something.
All they have to do is change 1 or 2 things about their play and rotations.
2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arcade machine? on: February 19, 2016, 02:36:53 PM
Technical issued of creating arcade cabinet powered by bitcoin are not the greatest obstacle here. The bigger problem is popularity of such project.
Do you think how many people who usually play at arcade has bitcoin? It is usually kids and young adults who play there. TBH I don't know any kid who own even 0.1 BTC.
2376  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 3 BTC BONUS on: February 19, 2016, 02:31:34 PM
Does the poker work off Java? For some reason I can not get it going in chrome and suspect its because they do not support java. Works on Firefox on my mac which is old.

I will just add that Java script and Java are not the same and it's true that Google ceased support of Java since September 2015 in their browser;
but Java script should be completely supported and normally there is not problem with playing on Chrome.
2377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joca97 & CarlesPuyol Biggest Challenge made in Bitcointalk forum *Jar* on: February 19, 2016, 02:19:34 PM
Interesting idea, this is something new and I never seen similar attempt here. But it is somewhat risky (gambling, duh!).
There is a scenario that you will lose all your bets after all. I will wait for now and see how it will go, if round 1 will be a success then I will consider taking part.
2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need inspiration for need games to developer on: February 19, 2016, 02:13:51 PM

 Video Poker?

That would be easy and definetly goes well with your other games.
Video Poker is like in every online bitcoin casino and is not the game which alone will bring you a tons of players.
I would say still go Dice but don't do it like 100x clone of PrimeDice because people are not idiots, they will realize you used the same script and similar layout.
2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Providing 30 Days free Soccer Tips on: February 19, 2016, 01:52:52 PM
Thanks to everyone, all you know betting is risky and i dont recommend to bet more then can afford, i think i have near 70% win rate with my tips. Good luck to all my followers
70% win ratio is very good but you can clearly putt it off with only betting on low odds games. What are usual odds of the matches you predict?
Do you bet on anything less than 1.5? Also it would be nice if you update your OP with win-lose stats. Good luck.
2380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in trouble on: February 18, 2016, 03:06:55 PM
After this...I think congress is going to come down on bitcoin in the US

http://www.bitcoinvalues.net/hollywood-hospital-pays-hackers-40-bitcoin-worth-17000-release-computers.html
I think they will try to make their firewall more secure and strong rather than go behind shutting down bitcoin operation in US.
Oh yeah? I was behind firewall and under protection of one of the best antiviruses on the market myself. You can't have 100% protection.
The only solution I see is to dedicate time and effort to find the hacker, hunt these criminals down and put them in jail.
But of course it is problematic with the elusive nature of bitcoin...
