But they keep telling me you can only buy drugs with it?

Actually, you can't what with the Silk Road closed and all.
2363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im starting a new bitcoin-related project. ANONYMOUS OR NOT? on: May 07, 2013, 10:00:05 AM
You are already not anonymous.

You are Nicolò Maria Lazzarin of Montemarciano, Italy. I'll refrain from calling you to demonstrate my point.

Anonymity on the Internet is a myth. Trying to hide your details will only flag you as a proto scammer. It will protect you from nothing.
2364  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: My girlfriends house in Germany on: May 06, 2013, 01:34:50 PM
.

I don't know if this is a serious question or a troll, but I will answer anyway. The item you have liked to is a plot of land with a broken old barn on 377m2, and has been tax foreclosed by the town, and its STARTING price at town auction is 3200 euros (which is its outstanding tax bill). I think your implication that my girlfriends grandfathers house, after looking at the photos, could be classed as only fir for demolition' would probably offend her greatly, so please excuse me if I don't pass on your comment Smiley

No, actually if you read it again it fits perfectly.

377 m² equals ~ 400 m²

The description mentions a 2 story house (which we see in the photos), a shed (which we see in the photos) and a storage facility (which we see in the photos).

The given building year 1900 fits the prevalent architecture of the time and place we see in the photos.

The house is described as not inhabited (which we see in the photos), free standing (which we see in the photos), having "simple" fittings (which is code for no heating (which we see in the photos)), 100 m² of living area (which fits the photos) and condemned (which fits the photos).

Now why it would only cost 3200 Euro while yours is claimed to be estimated at 25000 Euro is an interesting question. An interesting question indeed. I wonder why that is.

Is it the same as this one?

You know, the one that says "only fit for demolition"

I'd suggest contacting Roger Ver. He'll surely have some lasers he can send over. Also he has a lot of experience with things that go *boom*.

On that note, can we have at least a seperate scam accusations board for the alt coins? ScamAcc is getting flooded with idiot newbies scamming and wanna-be-scamming each other and it detracts from my enjoyment of the real scams.
2371  Other / Meta / Re: Off-Topic Reputation Threads on: May 04, 2013, 06:16:46 PM
The off-topic board is getting spammed with on-topic threads related to member's transaction history with other members on this site.  Is there any better board where these can go, or can one be created?  Off-topic isn't looking very off-topic anymore.
I moved them there - they were peppered all over the place in multiple subforums.

I take it that means the threads are offtopic and can be "enhanced" without repercussion?

What the hell is this crapola?

Well I'm not to sure what swearing police could accomplish.  I thinks that people just to be more aware of what theys type and be a little more respectful of one another.

I think you should be more aware of what you type and be a little more respectful towards the English language.
2375  Other / Off-topic / Re: We should remove dirty words from the internet on: May 02, 2013, 07:20:00 PM
We need a swearing police! Like the bitcoin police, but even more useless!

I'm totally in. We can BBQ out on the veranda, swill some cold brewskis and occasionally look for swear words on google, issuing a memo "Yup, they're still doing it". Just like the real bitcoin police.
2376  Other / Meta / Re: My IP is banned? on: May 02, 2013, 03:01:07 PM
Are you Swiss? Because I see you talking a lot of french and what I see very often in my forum is Swiss users coming in from the same IAP node (basically acting as a proxy), so if one banned that node's IP one would often also ban innocent users as collateral damage.

Oh good, the rape card.

Can't wait for the "bitbet deciding against me is as bad as the holocaust" 'argument'.

Look at all these people swimming with sharks and then complaining when they're bitten. Cheesy

"You didn't tell me these sharks had teeth. I demand an immediate detoothing."
2379  Other / Off-topic / Re: We should remove dirty words from the internet on: May 02, 2013, 09:18:26 AM

Youtube is blocked here. Can you give me a second by second description of what is happening in the video? Thank you.

Are you in Iran?

Nope. Idling at work.  Cheesy
