2361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019 over 40m cryptocurrency wallets have been created on: October 31, 2019, 04:34:34 PM
More than 40 million cryptocurrency wallets have been created, as of mid-2019, according to market data provider Statista. The report from Statista revealed that there were only around 8 million digital asset wallets in 2016.

The latest numbers from Statista’s report are quite staggering when you consider they’re based on the growth of a single crypto wallet provider, Blockchain.com.

The London-based wallet provider offers one of the most widely-used wallet clients which includes support for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Stellar (XLM), Paxos Standard Token (PAX), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Full article
The figure looks great, but just count that 40 percent of those wallet are redundant which I know that 1 person may even own more than one wallet, which may be as a result of mistake or loss of a particular wallet they once had, but what I can know is that there are 21 million users of bitcoin and that is what is more of concern to me, which I think it is still very low compared to the number of populations that we have worldwide.

It shows that there are still so many people that are yet to start making use of bitcoin, but if we look at it from the angle of value, bitcoin value has really tried for us to have just 21 million wallets which I would also count as users, and the price has already reached this $9k, and I believe that as adoption rate increases, more wallets will be created.

2363  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: October 30, 2019, 08:09:24 PM
Bustabit has been around for longer than I can remember, if there was even a single, and I mean like literally just one, proof that they have ever scammed someone it would have been a huge deal already and they would have died a quick crypto casino death like so many others.

They are still going strong and making a lot of profits both for themselves and their investors, why? Because everyone knows this place has been doing very well for the past god knows how many years and that is why people still applaud them and invest and gamble here.

Yeah, you can find other places that are not scammers as well, just because bustabit is not a scammer doesn't mean they are the only ones, but other places gamble when you gamble, this place goes on even when you are not around which makes it possible for you to see uncanny odds more frequently.
2364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start: Daytrading? on: October 30, 2019, 07:16:11 PM
I may not have too many things to say but I will tell you that after you must have gathered the knowledge to trade which I believe you would have had your strategy also that you will use for the trading, you have to ensure one thing, ensure that you are able to manage your greed level because that is the real main thing that usually do kill people’s trade.

one of the way you can control your emotion and manage your greed level is if you try to use your trading tools, like stop loss and profit taking tools, if you can actually manage this, then I think you will have a very great and wonderful trade. Last thing I would advise you on is never to go on leverage trading if you are new o trading, it will kill your trade money faster than you can ever imagine.
2365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it necessary for a university to be registered from a government to issue... on: October 30, 2019, 06:46:48 PM
Is it necessary for a university to be registered from a government to issue a degree/diploma certificate? Or are there any governments who offer free registration of universities online?

I want to open a blockchain university which may offer master and graduation level courses for free
You can actually open that right now since it is a Blockchain program, but except you register it as a decentralized system before you will have the freedom and not have any issue that much with the government, but if it is coming in form of centralization, I think that the time will come when government will be fully into this system and they would want to regulate all the things that has to do with Blockchain and by then, some of the degrees you have issue may be declared illegal.

It is better that you make registration for it and explain your concept to whoever is in charge of the registration, maybe they will hear you out and then approve your university. It is a great idea and I really wish you all the lucks you will have on this project, because we need projects like this.
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: October 30, 2019, 06:10:04 PM
People will not listen if you tell them to stop playing gambling for them to stop losing profits, that is not going to work, the more say that, the more they are going to play gambling no matter what it cost to them. Let them play, let them experience things that they are not expecting at all in order for them to stop playing gambling by themselves, experience will be the one who will help them realize that forcing themselves to gambling even though they are losing will not help them to attain being a professional gambler's title to make profits in gambling most of the time.

It is like a person who is smoking, he won't stop until he got lung cancer.
I think it’s very wrong to even advice anyone to stop gambling. I would also not listen to anyone who dishes out this kind of advice because it does not make any sense. What happens to successful gamblers? How did they become successful and if there can be a good number of people cashing out on a daily basis in gambling, then why scare people away from gambling.

It’s just better gamblers are advised to be extraordinarily careful and also players should be thought to be contented with whatever profit they make because from experience, the habit of trying to double bet in order to make more profit which is a very wrong habit.
2367  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 40 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: October 30, 2019, 05:15:54 PM
That type of betting where you bet smaller and smaller amounts and bet on big chances to win usually ends up being bad with just one bet. For example, on 1.01 you can literally win 50 times in a row without a single loss but if you lose the 51th one you are in negative.

So, it is not really a clever method to make money, sure you can then increase the odds and make it like 1.06 and even increase the amount you put in and try again to recoup that loss but if you end up losing again then returning back from that makes it so much more difficult. Like I said it is possible but I doubt its plausible, after all no matter HOW you play there is still house edge and you will end up losing all your money in the long term no matter what you do unless you go all-in once, win and leave.
2368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 24, 2019, 05:00:46 PM
The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing
I don’t know if what you meant here is that altcoins that would  not die, because if you are looking for altcoins that will die, you will find thousands of them in the market and there is no point listing them here because the whole page will be full of different failed and bad projects that people know and that would really not help matter, so I think what we should be researching out now are projects that we can comfortably say that they will stand in the future for their real solid projects.

I am this kind of person that personally, I don’t like discussing about failures, but I like talking more of successful projects that we have in the market and I think most successful projects that I know right now are projects that are within the top 20 coins documented on coinmarketcap.
2369  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and Remittences on: October 24, 2019, 04:35:48 PM
Among altcoins, I have only seen ethereum that has survived so far and has some good number of investors too. Though it is not as potential a coin as bitcoin but a trustworthy one. No other altcoin has been able to replace it. Comparatively, bitcoin is a way too fast and profit promising, and the main purpose of dealing in coins is money. SO it is best to invest in bitcoin and not waste time here and there.
It would be quite hard for any of these other coins to be able to replace these top two coins, and of all the altcoins that is available till date, these two coins and top 10 coins may be the coin that will stay long in the market, and as this bear market is getting dip, lots of altcoins maybe going to zero and also dyeing off.

Bitcoin and Ethereum has a very strong system that people are already so used to for remittance and as days goes by, they will continue to gain more recognition. Ethereum as altcoins is still very much faster in transaction than every other coins, I think that Litecoin is so fast too because I have used Litecoin before and I don't think I was ever disappointed or regret using this coin also, so if they ask me to choose the best 3 coin that is suitable, I think it is btc, eth and ltc.
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Bullish trend on: October 17, 2019, 06:49:06 AM
It does not make any much sense analyzing these altcoins separately as I see it as waste of time, most of these coins no matter how bullish they look would never rise except maybe bitcoin is doing well and this has actually been their behavior if you notice. The time that Ethereum was able to perform well was during the last bull run, and all was still because of bitcoin bull run.

Ethereum price increase naturally depends on their ICO and establishment of them, but for a while now, bitcoin has been the main pillar for Ethereum and some of these altcoins because ICO which is meant to even lift Ethereum up is dying off gradually and the IEO reigning now does not depend on Ethereum chain but on the chain of the exchange that are producing them.

@betwrong, it seems that you are the one wrong, the latest one had top three that had 10.02, 6.34 and 5.08. Just go to windice.io , tap on the "contest" on the upside of the screen, it is right near the "stats" page, when it opens click the "2", that means it is the second contest, you are talking about the first contest. First contests top 3 was like you mentioned, the latest was the 10 btc top 1 one. There is a ton of money involved this time around and it shows for sure this contest is a great idea.

I don't know how long yoloer will be capable of continuing this because it is gambling and eventually he may lose a ton of money while trying to win and he may get cold feet after that, but until then we are going to just have bunch of people trying to overthrow yoloer from the top spot.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: September 26, 2019, 12:13:54 PM
Fun is depend on how we look at it and since you seems to be bored in gambling(or atleast some of the games) I think you need to refreshes first your demand on betting
This is the problem of us being constant players who find boredom sometimes in games that in fast our favorites.

Maybe try to go first in real gambling places so you would refresh your online gambling experiences again
I think sometimes we just want to explore games and I understand this feelings well. In most cases having the opinion of others is all what we need and that is exactly what the poster is doing. The funny thing about this is that no amount of recommendation would ever be enough to quench this thirst or hunger lol.

I think it is even better to take a break, come back to the old games you have always known and played and you start to find it interesting again.  What causes this kind of feelings is mostly over familiarity with games and it happens more often with people who spend a lot of time on games. All casino games are interesting and fun, it all depends on the player in question. I also suggest the op checks out the sites mentioned above that's if he is not already familiar with it.
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume on: September 21, 2019, 06:07:25 PM
I don't know how far they have gone on this but am sure and know most exchange are just mad regard this volume of a thing and those that willing to scam are still doing business with such , to the extend that we have exchange that kill project once launch which makes some team use them to run away with excuse of market not performing , and this need a serious attention .
I could not agree with you less because i know that some exchanges has been practicing this in a long time and where they started from is from where they directly buy some of the coins themselves and then get profit on them after which they dump it on the market so that the project can actually collapse which they would have achieve two things, they would have already made profit from those projects and then at the same time benefit from the part of which you see it from also.

If we start having regulations within ourselves like coin gecko is planning to do, i am sure that we will gradually start cleaning up the mess that some of these scammers have brought to the cryptocurrency market. Hope that they have started functioning already because i have not heard much from them.
2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big news for BTC exposure and adoption! on: September 21, 2019, 05:23:39 PM
It may be old news to some but I am just seeing  this for the first time and as a football fan plus a crypto enthusiast, this is certainly a pleasant news if it will be effected eventually, because saying  it is one thing and putting  it into action  is another thing, I sincerely wish this will take effect because crypto needs it.
We certainly have many football enthusiast like you out there that has never even heard of cryptocurrency, and you know that most fans likes to know every details of the jersey that the football team do wear, and another good thing about that is that, there are some artist that do make and sell some of these jerseys in their country, and they will definitely want to Put the bitcoin logo on the shirt also has they have it there, which means that many people would definitely also Know about bitcoin when they are buying the jersey from their market.

This is a very bold step that this team made and i am sure that if satoshi was still alive (lol), he would probably have appreciated them for the bold step that they took to showcase bitcoin to the world out there.
2376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin mixers be considered illegal by worldwide governments? on: September 21, 2019, 02:26:29 PM
The existence for bitcoin mixers or any cryptocurrency mixers is really hard. The primary factor being that they are always in the eyes of governments and higher authorities.
For mixers to survive they will have to be regulated by central bodies which will then in turn destroy their purpose of anonymity and privacy.
So yeah, I think they will have to be run illegaly and will be considered illegal by the governments.
The chipmixer itself was developed for the purpose of creating anonymity which I usually refer to it as confusion because it blocks every means of transactions from being able to be seen. If we really want the cryptocurrency space to actually have some level of good projects and free of scammers, I am not sure that projects like this cheap mixer should be regulated.

It has its own good will though but scammer too have actually hijacked it and that is why some transaction that would have been traced easily through exchanges using kyc is being blocked by chipmixer, so regulation is needed even if it is going to defeat that objective of anonymity to an extent, we need the space to be free of scam first and we need those who are using it for scam to be exposed.
2377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Marketing And Religion on: September 20, 2019, 07:58:19 PM
I am not Muslim but I have seen someone who I know refusing to promote sites related with lending and gambling site. Legal and things you don't do just because your religion prohibits are different.

I've seen some friends on mine who are not allowed to as said in religion but still they do. Its all about your views actually and how much you believe in it.
In my opinion, those who reject campaigns that is related to gambling because of religious beliefs are not in the need of money or maybe if you check very well they are just extremists. Like you said, which I also agree, there are some gamblers that regarding the religious beliefs will still go ahead to gamble, I have a lot of them and honestly, it depends on their view.

But for me, I do not see any reason that will be explained that will make me follow religion to stop gambling or even promoting gambling activities, when it’s not like I am being paid by the same religion. The sad thing is that the religious leaders are balling in money and making cool cash while setting rules for hungry followers to obey.
2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 20, 2019, 04:58:19 PM
It's not about the financial status of a person that encourage them to gamble. They are gamblers in general and being rich or poor does not have anything to do with this vice. Also a means to differentiate poor gamblers to rich gamblers is the venue where they do the gambling. Rich people tend to be more cozy and do gambling on casinos while poor gamblers cannot afford to bet on casinos and tend to do it on their neighbors with less bets than casinos.
I personally feel riches cannot be defined based on how much money is on the account or what any one is worth in terms of finances or material values. I can categorically state that I have seen a lot of rich gamblers and you might feel disappointed when you meet up with them because they have no cars or house to flaunt and make them look rich.

In my opinion, rich gamblers are those that can boast of never falling into unnecessary losses or falling into addiction.  Those that have a good knowledge of gambling and do not gamble for money.  In this regard, I think gamblers are rich because the ones I have been opportune to meet have the attributes of riches.
2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 20, 2019, 04:11:40 PM
This gambling game is a fair betting which used breeding cock which is conditioned, and fight other breeders raced. It's really fun and unpredictable, but always provide every participants a chance to grab the luck at their best pick. Hopefully the online and live betting game will be more visible to cock lovers all over the world, and this is advantage when crypto will be used.
honestly I have never seen cock figting in online, how it works and whether it will be prone to manipulation ot not. Moreover, cock fighting are rarely shown on television or even none at all. if you want to gamble like this, just go in many villages, there is still a lot of cock fighting there, and socialize with the villagers, they are very friendly and ready to gamble with you.
I have always loved the game since the days I watched it on TV and I wished to play but gambling in public is against my faith and this, with the way gamblers are seen, I can imagine what would be said of me if I involve publicly in gambling and cock gambling at that, it will ridiculous.

I think having it online is a very great idea, though I am yet to identify any site that does it but I belief the information would be released soon and this might even be a good reason for some already existing casino sites to make provision for cock fight betting. It's from here we would know the casino sites that are concerned about the needs of their players and ready to deliver. It will be my utmost pleasure to play on any site that offers this service.
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 20, 2019, 03:49:45 PM
Why does people act like Liverpool wasn't the champions league winner of last year and Chelsea was literally third place by luck by just 1 point ahead of forth and 2 points ahead of fifth position (one more loss and they would have been fifth)? Is Chelsea really THAT better than they were last year? Looking at their recent game I doubt that is true, is people hoping that Liverpool would have a bad game because its the start of the season?

Guys this is Liverpool, they will win against Chelsea for sure, this is not a nice candy world where we praise everyone for trying, this is gambling, I would not bet a single satoshi on Chelsea to win this game, maybe I am wrong, maybe Chelsea will win, maybe there will be draw but if I am going to risk my money then it will surely be Liverpool for me.
