2361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: December 03, 2021, 07:23:14 AM
Considering the supply vs global population = 0.003BTC per person to go around.

Then other factors like not all 21 million will be in circulation due to lost wallets/deceased hodlers who never informed anyone where their seed is, and also an increasing global population and future generations who all want in.

Do you think 0.1BTC will be like owning a mansion?
I kind of think that there will be a time when bitcoin will be scarce, because there wouldn’t be much to go round. And since it is limited, it’s going to be rare and sold for a really high price that most people might not be able to afford. So, when a time like that comes when bitcoin is going to be rare, owning even a half of that 0.1 BTC is going to be a lot of money, and a lot of people will even find it difficult to sell the coins they own, unless they have a better plan of what they would do with that money. Another thing is that as time goes on more coins are likely going to get missing, which will further decrease the number of coins that are available in the market.
2362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 02, 2021, 10:21:49 PM
The Pakistani cricket team has announced a 15-man squad for their home T20Is against West Indies, which are set to begin on December 13th. The squad is the same as normal, but Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, and Sarfaraz Ahmed have been left out, while Hasan Ali will not play. Muhammad Hasnain returns to the squad. It appears to be a balanced squad, but there should be some new faces in the team. I think Pakistan needs to improve its spin department. There is no genuine spinner in the team anymore. But, Pakistan will crush the West Indies with the current lineup.
I don't know why Sarfraz is still sticking with team while he is hardly given any chance. He is senior player and must not accept the role of 12th man, we see him coming with drinks for the players. WI is not doing good these days in any format while Pakistan is strong in all formats. So we wont expect to see any exciting game, it will be one sided contest.
Good news, PCB already listen your advice, and now they drop Sarfaraz Ahmed from both twenty/twenty and ODI squads which are going to face West Indies in coming home series. https://twitter.com/TheRealPCB/status/1466383827207606277/photo/1In this format no team is bad or good if on your day you are doing very good you can beat any team because it's all about luck and having some good practice so most chances this could be very good and interesting series even it's having not good time because this could be Winter and Smog already disturbing but still good that West Indies is coming here for playing few matches after New Zealand and England pull out due to security reasons.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 02, 2021, 09:54:50 PM
I would guess that they are not even trying all that much to win anymore, they are so far ahead of everyone else that at this point they could start using youngsters and still have enough chance to win the league. It would also give them a chance to see which one of their younger players are capable of becoming a superstar in the future.

It is a known fact that they can't keep Mbappe on their team for too long, and Messi is older right now as well, di maria too, maybe their best chance is to hold on to Neymar. Which means that they are going to need like 3 players for their team to help Neymar at the offensive line and even if they could afford to get some other players, it won't be that easy to get 3 super stars like they have now. Which is why in the league I suggest they should rest those superstars time to time and use younger players to see which one would be able to play at that level.
2364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin makes new ATH. More ATHs to come shortly. on: December 02, 2021, 09:21:43 PM
they are making a lot of money because bought bitcoin in the drops at $30,000. I am not sure if they have already sold their bitcoin, especially if they have a high target price at $70,000-$100,000. We have much time just to wait for bitcoin to rise higher this month while we need to use this time by buying more bitcoin because bitcoin price now still not moving higher. We should not let this chance without doing something that can benefit us in the future. Hopefully, from this month until the new year, we will see a big change in the crypto market and that can give us a big profit too.
I have bought bitcoin lower than 30k, and I am still waiting for it to reach to a higher level. I am probably never going to sell it at this current amount I have, it would need to be millions of dollars for me to be able to sell and do something with it, otherwise it is obvious that we are going to end up with something that is a small amount since I couldn't invest as much as I wanted to. However, I have bought at 20k+ and then 30k+ and then 50k+ as well, even a small portion at 60k+ as well.

So, I have bought bitcoin many times, and I am going to buy more and more for years as well, I am not going to suddenly stop investing into crypto, I am not going to just wait for it to go up, I am going to keep buying it because I believe in the long term it will profit me a lot more. So not everyone just bought and waits, they may keep on buying more.
2365  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price now on: December 02, 2021, 08:46:30 PM
By the current market situation of bitcoin if an investor are just invested for a short term investment then I guess before the bitcoin's price corrected he must already sold his btc on the high price. The market today seem to have a quite long correction, well we don't know what the movement would happen since we're now in the Q4 of the year which in my own perception we should have to see another milestone unlock of bitcoin's price however there's no assurance, so for me if you're planning to hold for a long term investment then there's no need to worry about the pump and dump of market today and holding it for a long term will guarantee to be worth it.
December is a month people get hopeful about bitcoin due to 2017 December. If you look at every other December it is not as good as 2017 December and we may not get something like that ever again. However, just because people are hopeful, they may end up buying some more crypto during this month and it could help us get out of the current bad cycle. I am not entirely sure if that will happen or not, I am hoping that it would happen but there is no guarantees about it.

So, we just have to wait and see what is going to happen, it could end up being something very profitable or it could end up with being something that is totally unexpected as well, we just need to be prepared for anything. I keep saying that this month could end up with either 70k+ or under 50k and both of them are equally possible by the looks of it, if we are not ready for both, then we are going to regret it.
2366  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: December 02, 2021, 08:41:13 PM
Digital currencies are definitely the future of the finance now. There is no way out of this so some people who are antagonists to Bitcoin and the rest of the cryptocurrencies should stop their attitude for their own benefit. In the future, we won't have any fiat currency left. In this kind of a world, people will have no choice other than using digital currencies. It is better to make an effort to get used to them already now.
Yes but the OP referred to a potential new world order, hence who is in control over the currency that the people are using? Is it a decentralized network like Bitcoin and will it stay decentralized for its most part? Or will it be a digital currency forced up onto the citizens around the world? Those are two very different scenarios with different consequences for everyone. No matter what is going to happen, but it is important to have decentralized systems like Bitcoin, Ethereum etc. just to have some counterpart to any Central Bank Digital Currency that might get established. Nobody can really know how it pans out exactly over the next ten or so years, but a ban of cryptocurrencies passed by old politicians would be a mistake and shortsighted.
I would suggest that if we ever have "new world order" which I believe won't happen, then it is likely that something like a decentralized cryptocurrency would be at the top of it. I understand that not everyone falls in love with that idea right now and governments will try their best to not get that happen and will use all of their police power to sotp it if it comes to that.

However, if we are talking about new world order then people at the top (there is always some people at the top) may look at crypto in a different light. That is why I believe that crypto could be the currency of the future, or maybe none of that will happen and crypto will just become a popular alternative to payment methods we have right now.

Like we do pay with cash, or we pay with card, that is 95%+ of all payments in the world when you go to a place, or we wire transfer money to other people if it is not in person payments, all of that could be replaced with crypto, so it will be a good alternative in the future.
2367  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: December 02, 2021, 06:23:32 PM
There are (as of  now) 14029 cryptocurrencies listed in coinmarketcap.com.
A case has been made (repeatedly) for  the existence of a bubble in the cryptocurrency market.
Yeah, I understand cryptocurrencies are volatile, high risk investments. But, are you guys expecting a market crash anytime soon?
Do you mean a market crash for altcoins or the market in general? Bitcoin has been doing quite well and I think the more that institutional investment goes into it, the more it will become stable. The price has remained firmly on the $50,000 mark, and I don’t really know if it will be dropping below that or not.

For sure there have been some analysis that have forecasted that there would be more decrease below that $50,000 mark, and even before now I have thought that the market would go down to around $30,000 or so, but it has been able to maintain this high price for quite a long time. So, I cannot tell anymore whether it would be going below the $50,000 mark, or just maintain that price for now. As for altcoins,it is quite clear that most of them will crash.
2368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Dead??? on: December 01, 2021, 09:51:17 PM
In my opinion Dogecoin is the best meme coin right now, apart from surviving for a long time, DOGE has also made a very good contribution to the development of cryptocurrencies so far, even though the value of DOGE fell too deep but I never thought that Dogecoin would die, because of users and demand. towards DOGE from time to time is increasing, and I believe DOGE will be a long-term investment that can provide benefits for its holders.
Best "meme coin" is not really a big high praise. I believe that it should not even be a proper thing honestly, I believe that it should have been long gone and not be hyped as much. I get that some people are very careful about all of this, and they are very much in love with memecoins and some people even made as much as 50x from memecoins.

However, just because you managed to make some profit doesn't mean that you will keep making that type of profit. I get that it is definitely something you could profit from in the short term but that doesn't mean that it is a long term good thing. I could have 1+ billion dollars, and I would still not hold 1+ million dollars worth of doge in my account for longer than 1 month. It is a coin that you should buy and sell as quickly as possible, otherwise it doesn't make sense at all, it would be very risky to keep holding it.
2369  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: December 01, 2021, 09:22:12 PM
4 years ago there were good news coming along in December like the CBoE and CME bitcoin future contracts. At that time no one really knows that is this kind of offering so everyone jump on the bandwagon and that's why the price goes to a new all time high  that time, almost $20k.

But in this December? we need some good and positive news. The taproot implementation didn't do that much in November. So again, maybe if there is some news that will turn around the market this December, I'm not expecting a massive bull run.
I would say taproot thing is not something you get to use that easily with everyone involved. Look at lightning network, nobody cared about it but it was such an easy and fast and cheap method. Binance doesn't offer taproot or bach32 stuff just now neither, so I would guess that most people are still using either segwit or even legacy.

I know that it doesn't look like it is a good idea to hope for taproot to change something because it would make things a lot easier and cheaper but at the end of the day if it is not used then it would be useless, quite literally. So I assume that the price changes of 4 years ago and right now are not the same, it is quite different and reasons are very different as well.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 01, 2021, 09:42:53 AM
Norwich drew with Newcastle United.  With this result, Newcastle got their 7th draw.  Norwich reached 10 points.
Pukki is survivor for Norwich with vital one point and this is big setback for Newcastle because after this draw now they are still at bottom with very hard schedule is coming for them in next many weeks which mean they need some miracle for coming out of this place with too many big wins against very strong teams.

Even it's just second match for new coach and management which is not giving any relief to them as they have first lost against Arsenal in away game and now draw against Norwich with just 7 draws for this season and no having any win is worst for them, and they possibly stay here in Premier League for next season. Now they require some big investments like PSG for their good end of this season.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 01, 2021, 08:32:59 AM
Atlanta is scoring 4 goals against Venezia. Mario Pasalic scored a hat-trick. Luis Muriel has done two assists. Venezia failed to score. Although they made 8 shots. But none of them are strong.

The match between Fiorentina vs Sampdoria was expected to be competitive. Sampdoria scored the first goal of the match. But then they conceded 3 goals in the first half. Neither team could score another goal in the second half.
it was an easy victory for Atalanta that shows great performance in last matches. the winning streak for Atalanta in Serie A is up to 4 matches and this victory is very important because next match is vs Napoli.
Atlanta is in the best form and after beating Juventus in away game now they can feel much better and having some good confidence to face League leaders in away game in next few days this could be very important game for these both teams because Napoli is after losing against Inter have very strong comeback against Lazio now this crucial game will give some better view how is this year's title race going because if Napoli win then surely it's hard for other teams to catch them for title race, but any other result could be very good for few other contenders like AC Milan and Inter because this will bring down Napoli with few more points, and they could be good to give them some tough time for next part of this season.

If Atlanta able to beat Napoli then surely they could be fourth strong contender for this year's title race after Napoli, Inter and AC Milan and this could be big setback for Napoli which was enjoying good lead at top.
2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you trade your crypto on: November 30, 2021, 06:19:48 PM
I want to know with what platforms you are working with.
It all depends on which exchange  or platform I want to make use of. There are so many reliable platforms that you can make use of, and it all comes to what you would really like. Sometimes I prefer to thread peer to peer, with some local exchanges, which is mostly convenient for me, because once I send cryptocurrency to them they do the transaction straight to my bank without much stress. And the good thing about this peer to peer trading with local exchanges is that It is able to build trust between you and them, and you are sure that you won’t be getting cheated.

Another good reason is that they have one of the highest threat I can find, so I prefer to trade with them. Then if you want you can as well make use of some centralized exchanges like Binance.com, though Binance do have its own peer to peer platform, but I don’t really make use of it.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 30, 2021, 08:52:11 AM
Australia and England are promoting woman cricket since they have interest of people in woman cricket, they have funds and its there state policy to include woman in every aspect of life. Other countries don't have or dont follow these parameters. Other boards are more concerned about money so they wont invest any penny from there pocket for woman leagues.
You are correct these countries can promote this game in women because they are better educated and financial strong countries, and we have here some serious issues related to society, education and finances in many countries, so they can't do this all as we have in big countries.

Indian Cricket Board is one of richest but still they are not having interest in this because they can face some issues but still they are improving good quality cricket which is now growing very quickly across India but in Pakistan. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh it's not easy to have luxury like this even now in quality South Africa and New Zealand women teams are not good enough because it's also having some other things as well it's very long debate which is not good but women facing some problems in all fields because of gender even we are talking about equality and respect for them.
2374  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: November 29, 2021, 09:40:18 PM
Now I am 27 years old and i know bitcoin about 6 years ago when the price of 1 btc was around $240, at that time i bought and used it for cloud mining, gambling and HYIP and i lost a lot, if i hold on until now i can get out of the office and start business, for a better future I will buy and make bitcoin a long term investment.
I am somewhere close to you. Not in age but how I realized it and how I spent mine for useless stuff and lost most of it. However I have been doing fine thanks to this new increase. I am not saying that it has been a great situation, we all know that if we are not careful enough then we are going to lose it so I ended up investing with the drop during march 2020 and that has been my rock that I stand on. After that I did some good investments as well but never did as much profit in dollars as I did with that.

So, I would say that it is clear for me that even if we lost too much money we still learned a valuable lesson. We are still young, there is a long way until being retired and that means we could end up with something much better by the time our retirement age comes. I am hoping to have over half a million dollars saved when that day comes and it would mean a great retirement for me.
2375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cryptocurrency for 1 Week! on: November 29, 2021, 08:42:36 PM
Sorry to burst your bubble OP, one week isn't enough to judge how a successful trader you've become. Anybody can win a trade at a time like we have it now because of the upward price movement. We're in a bull rally, and people hardly record losses. We get people missing out rather than recording losses during a bull run. I think anyone should trade a complete circle before they can claim they're successful. A complete trade circle in cryptocurrency industry for me is four years. The pre-Bitcoin halving, halving itself and post–halving are the complete experience circle any trader needs to guage themselves in this industry.
That's the key difference here, in a week even the best trader could have the worst week or the worst trader could have the best week. It is a very small sample size and that tells us nothing at all. I had weeks where I did 10x profit and I had weeks where I lost 80% as well, so I can't really base how good or bad I am on any week of my life, so neither should anyone else.

What you can get from a week is to see if you could leave emotions out when you are trading. That is a very important thing when you are trading and if you could do that then you could become a decent trader in the future, if you are new and you could leave emotions out of trading, that would be the only thing to learn about you in a single week.
2376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 28, 2021, 09:04:09 PM
In the current match, Sevilla took a 1-0 lead with Mir's goal at the Santiago Bernabeu. If Sevilla wins this match, they will become the leader in La Liga. This is an important match for Real Madrid, Sevilla and their followers, Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad and Real Betis. Let's see which team will win at the end of the match, will the leader change in the league?

Edit : At the time of writing this message, Real scored with Benzema.
After end of first half now both teams are level with 1 - 1 but Sevilla done some good in first half now if they keep this momentum then surely they can restrict Real Madrid and can stay on second spot in La Liga with one game still in hand because now after Xavi's arrival situation is very serious in this league Barcelona is improving so other teams have to do some better for staying at top today Atletico won and Real Socidad lost and if Sevilla also lost then surely Real Madrid will enjoy 5 points gap against their all opponents and Sevilla will also slip from second to fourth spot with just 5 points gap between them and Barcelona which is now also hunting for their spot in top four as they already out of this year's Champions League knock out stage.
2377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $100,000 in December? on: November 28, 2021, 06:24:30 PM
for this year, the price of bitcoin reached $100k to be very small huh. I also think so. a few months ago, I speculated that this month the bitcoin price could reach the $75k or $80k range. however, it looks like a correction is taking place and pushing bitcoin even below $60k.
however, reaching a price of $70k alone is a very good start to 2022. I still believe that prices will rise again in the near future. however, it doesn't look like the price will reach $100k by the end of this year. Well, let's hope it's actually achieved in 2022.
I have seen many people talking about 100k recently, everyone is aiming at that and I hope that it happens. Yet, just like you said, even if we are above 70k and whatever it is, it could be 70001 then I would be happy about it. That's a great base to start with, every year bitcoin is reaching insane numbers and I am quite happy about it. Aside from going from 2018 to 19, nearly every year was a big success and I hope that same could happen this time around as well.

I can't say much about what is going to happen but I see that every time we are higher yearly, that is a good thing for the future. If we are higher every year, what would be the price of bitcoin in 2030? That is the thing that I am so happy about, if we keep this long term trajectory going on, then we are going to end up with something huge when 2030 hits and maybe that would mean I would be rich? Who knows.
2378  Economy / Economics / Re: Prospective retailer on: November 27, 2021, 06:24:32 PM
Crypto has opened up lots of self employment option to our present society ranging from investment to trading even down to staking and all this are made possible by both centralized and decentralized exchanges providing services through licensed procedure to ensure a secured transaction either through peer-to-peer or a completely centralized procedure

I was just wondering don't you think becoming a retail vendor through a well developed exchange can earn you passive income or you haven't thought in that direction. Or could there be an  untold/hidden mysteries behind setting up an exchange because we still need more exchanges so we can give crypto more boost beyond government regulations
Anyone can work as a crypto retailer, and you don’t even need an exchange for you to be able to run a business like that. I’ve seen a lot of people in my country where I live who are working as crypto retailers, and they own their own websites slash exchange where they do their cryptocurrency business. Their business is like a peer to peer form, so the government can’t really interfere in their business, because the government wouldn’t be able to know what is going on.

Although there have been some of them that are registered under the government, and this ones can be affected at anytime if the government decides to ban them. Only those that have stayed as peer to peer are the ones that won't be affected by any rules that are set up by the government to ban cryptocurrency. So, being a crypto retailer is nothing new at all, there are lots of people who have been doing it right from time.
2379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does this have something to do with bitcoin's current decline... on: November 26, 2021, 09:00:22 PM
reported [local media] the carbon neutralization mission in 2060 in China and after Meng Wei's announcement from the NDRC about the decisive action that will be applied to crypto miners whether it will work as stated .....
if so, what is the percentage of the impact on bitcoin and other cryptos in the future ..... as we saw after Meng Wei's announcement on the Coindesk site, on Friday's trading session (11/19/2021), the price of Bitcoin fell further, that is, it was sold at a price of 56,959 US dollars per piece
China has fully locked their doors on cryptocurrency, and banned crypto mining companies from their country. So right now, I always consider everything that has to do with China as out of topic when it is cryptocurrency that is being talked about. Are you forgetting that yesterday that the price of Bitcoin was trading almost at $60,000?  although today it has dropped to $54,000. So, you have to know that it is a normal thing that the price will always go up and down, that is how Bitcoin is, and it has always been like that from the start.

I’ve seen a few experts analysts who predicted a decrease in the price of Bitcoin, or do they were being positive on the price of alternative coins in the future,  but I don’t know yet whether I am to believe all those analysis or not. Because, I am still believing that the price of Bitcoin will increase this December before the year is over.
2380  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL] What to expect from Bitcoin in 2022? on: November 26, 2021, 05:46:02 PM
I find the market to be functional on a cyclic process. Once after the previous bull market there is much expectations on the price to increase continuously. Once there is no big movement with bitcoin, everyone's eye turned towards altcoins. Further discussion started as it is the year of altcoins, particularly ethereum. That created some expectation for some time period. After a long this year we've experienced the real bull trend.

Over the past few years we've been part of the volatile market that is good for the traders. This year has brought in the profit for all the long term holders. Almost similar pattern as the previous bull market have happened, only the price difference is big this time. So, I expect some form of bearish move by the falling year.
I would say that anyone who has never been part of previous cycles will not be able to predict what the future holds. I get that it is not something that many people could comprehend, and they do not know how it acted before, but this is usual for all the other ones.

I get that it is regular for us, I mean we will have great years, then we will have altseason, then we will crash, then it will be like that for a while and during that crash it will go down a bit, then a bit more than a bit more and so forth, then it will stay like that for a very long term without moving much, sure a 10-20% move but that is nothing in crypto, and then suddenly it will be another skyrocketing increase. It has always been like that and will keep on being like that again in the future.
