2361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 06, 2021, 04:54:47 AM
Same with others, I also doubt this will happen again.
If it is then we might not even be entertained by it.
With our thoughts knowing the purpose of the event is just to create money, it won't be fun anymore.
I bet Mayweather also felt the punches of Pacquiao.
There are chances his clean record might be stained with an unexpected punch.  Grin
2362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins. How much do you think we need them? on: February 05, 2021, 08:48:01 PM
privacy coin is like that small space of freedom you got when everything is trying to poke into your nose, more specifically govenrment.
Maybe some of us don't need it at the current time, but it's nice to have something to use if worst comes to the worst.

Yes, that's nice.
Not everyone will agree though.
I guess it all comes down if we can trust our own government to not steal our kept funds.
You put it in banks they take it without permission. Just a note that the funds was already gone because of government taxation reasons.
What if that is your last drop of money to eat for a month?

We still need the privacy even if it's not that totally private. Just to get away from how the world works ever since a government has more power than whom they govern.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 05, 2021, 01:26:13 PM
The Rockets may have won the game against the Grizzlies but it may become difficult for their next games.
It's because they might just lose an important piece of their roster.
Christian Wood. Upon watching it repeatedly, it really looks bad.
https://rocketswire.usatoday.com/2021/02/05/report-rockets-concerned-that-christian-wood-could-miss-extended-period/

Someone may need to step up.
Cousins maybe? Oladipo can't do much with his limited minutes.
They are 7 wins out of their 8 games but losing Wood might affect their winning percentage.
2364  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal cryptocurrency trading volume beyond expectations on: February 05, 2021, 08:43:22 AM
Looks like they made a good choice.  Shocked
I bet every employee of Paypal now is getting their bonuses.  Grin

This also proves how many people out there are having a hard time buying cryptocurrencies before.
We all saw that with different threads they make in this forum looking for other options.
But now, you don't see much of that question anymore. Yeah, Paypal made it happen.
Although, I am still in doubt about security issues. I might just use it to buy and get out. Don't stay.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 05, 2021, 06:21:56 AM
This bet of mine tonight is quite so scary Grin Grin not so confident but I'll still go with it.

Lakers vs Nuggets.

My pick. Nuggets +5, Nuggets ML, under 217..

Good luck everyone, this game should be fun.
Sorry mate, it was a bad game for the Nuggets at the end of 3rd quarter.
15-0 run that cut the big lead and made the Lakers advance.
I was watching live thinking if I should bet. Luckily, I saved my money and just watched the game.

Lebron made another triple-double and passing Wilt Chamberlain for the 3rd all-time field goals made.
He just keeps on breaking record after record and he is still strong enough to move forward.
2366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk's Tweets... on: February 05, 2021, 03:42:52 AM
And it's dragging every investor in his circle.  Grin
I bet he is making a lot more money by doing this.
Just the fact that he could shake the market with a single tweet.
His profits right now might also be soaring. I see a lot of people do the same but it cannot even move the market an inch.  Grin
He doesn't need to spend more just to pump the coin.
2367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH made me very Angry today on: February 04, 2021, 08:29:49 PM
Dude. You have problems.
How did it suddenly became your wife and kids fault?

There's a chance you made the error yourself.
Have you checked the transaction again?
It may be because of too much thrill to buy the token that cloud your decision.
But again, you should go see a doctor first. You play the blame game like a crazy dude.
2368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Employees can get salary in Bitcoin in Miami on: February 04, 2021, 02:52:59 PM
All thanks to Francis Suarez. Probably the coolest mayor I've ever heard of and the first mayor or politician of any country or state that I actually follow on social media.

Take a look at his Twitter account, it's filled with bitcoin and crypto stuff: https://twitter.com/FrancisSuarez
Dude, it's the first time I have heard about him. Thank you.
I browsed his Twitter account and all you could see is tech, tech, and tech.  Grin
A mayor who believes in technology. I guess we could see some good change now instead of the old school traditional ways.
I mean, they could still use traditional ways but fused together with technology and it will be awesome.

I hope he could pursue to make other mayors do the same, better, other countries.
2369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 04, 2021, 12:10:04 PM
Jared Dudley’s new book had some controversial comments about Clippers guard Paul George. Basically he said Kawhi had a right to talk cocky about being the team to beat because he’s a defending champion, but Paul George doesn’t have any right to talk big because he’s never won anything. PG13 has been having a great year, but without a championship soon he’s dangerously close to entering the club of HOF-type players without a ring.
Just found out about it. Thanks.
It would have been better if it came from a legitimate HOF.
But from Jared? Argh. It would be better if he looks at the mirror first.
Even without a ring, PG13 is one of the elite players in the NBA. I think he should consider making another book.  Grin

Finally now Dallas Mavericks are back in the winning track, it's been a long losing streak before they pulled out a win against the Hawks.
As usual, Doncic lead the team for this win, he scored 27 points and 14 assists, not a triple double night but at least a win, that's all what matters.
Yeah, finally. I was worried this could become the opposite of the Jazz. A losing streak. Somehow, they pull through it and cut the bad streak.
Mostly, they win if Tim works his magic.
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ranks aren't permanent in crypto space on: February 04, 2021, 09:20:16 AM
Or better, there are new projects that are being created which is better than them.
Yes, you also have a point about them suddenly being forgotten. It should've been not like that.
Well, that relies on the management too.
If they can keep on offering the public what suits them then, it won't be the same ending.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 04, 2021, 05:45:36 AM
I'm just curious, what do think about the chances of winning in "Betbuilder" type of game? I don't usually bet on parlay as I have a very low win percentage but is "Betbuilder" better?
It's actually the same as a parlay when it comes to winning percentage.
The better part is if you are a fan of the whole team.
You know all the stats of every player in that team and how much they put in their stats.
Like me as a Nuggets fan. I usually make a betbuilder for Jokic, Murray, and Porter Jr.
With that, I won't need to force myself to add from another team just to maximize the parlay that could also cost me to lose it.
I hope that helps.

John Wall resting hit the Rockets hard.
1/2 for me as 76ers won against Hornets.  Wink
2372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA All-Star Voting 2021 on: February 03, 2021, 08:59:43 PM
I don't think they will go back to the old way.
They might use the settings last year where captains will be choosing.

As for my votes in NBA.com
Here is my list.

1. Jokic
2. Leonard
3. James
4. Curry
5. Doncic or Oladipo

1. Trae
2. Kyrie
3. Jerami Grant
4. Durant or Embiid
5. Giannis

I want to see Oladipo back in All-Star. I hope he wins the votes. Then, Jerami Grant from leading the Pistons and the great game last year.
2373  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance trip about using a VPN? on: February 03, 2021, 06:47:14 PM
I’ve been using Binance for approximately 4 years now, and I’ve always used a VPN; with me hopping country IPs too. Had no problem besides the annoying(but necessary) email verification due to the unrecognized IP.
True.
E-mail verification was always a hassle with this kind of trick.
But it's okay for me. As long as you can protect your privacy.
I don't think Binance has rules with that as long as you are using a country IP that has no restrictions with them.
Anyway, I don't go over their default limit that is why I don't also need a KYC.

2374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 03, 2021, 03:50:34 PM
0/2. Ouch.  Cry
Pistons will need another star next year. It's all Jerami Grant. He needs help.

Rockets -6.5 vs OKC
76ers -6.5 vs Hornets
Perhaps Mavs can win now against Atlanta but even with a losing streak, it's -2.5.  Undecided

2375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 03, 2021, 11:57:58 AM
I doubt we could use history from now on.
A lot of changes had happened.
Before there was no Paypal to buy bitcoin that easily.
Also, there are popular names that are joining the crypto industry. So demands could get higher anytime and the volatility will stay.
IMO, the correction already happened and we have a new bottom. I hope.
2376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 03, 2021, 10:10:57 AM
I honestly doubt that when you look at their schedule. In the next 10 games they will play 2x vs Clippers, 76s, Bucks, Celtics and Pacers. Don't
Yeah, maybe 5-6 streaks with their schedule now then adding the pressure of being on top could change the pace of the game.

The Brooklyn Hydra  Grin won it again with an intense game against the Clippers.
With their new rebounder named James Harden.  Grin
That long pass he did to Green was something else. Who would attempt to make an act like that?
If the receiver didn't catch it or stolen he will sure be disciplined by Coach Nash.
2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH keep breaking record and what happened to BCH? on: February 03, 2021, 06:35:30 AM
BCH? Never heard of it.  Roll Eyes
What do you expect?
It would be better to just talk about Ethereum and XRP recent events than that.
Even with all the ruckus that had happened with XRP leaving maybe half of the supporters. It's still there and fighting.
2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 02, 2021, 06:52:38 PM
Big Shot Booker!
That shot made me sad.  Cheesy JK. It could've been a win for me @-1.5 if it didn't went in.

7.00 for Pistons against Utah Jazz.
Damn, it's calling me to bet for them.  Grin High risk, high profit.
I'll just put just a little bet but, there is a chance this game will be postponed again.

Under 240.5 Trail Blazers vs Wizards.
Good luck guys.

2379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Management in trading cryptocurrencies ...?? on: February 02, 2021, 06:07:31 PM
Have you checked the date of whatever you read?
Those are old school rules.
Bitcoin up, alts go down, and vice versa.
But that doesn't happen anymore. It is really difficult to predict the market.
Mostly, what will happen is Bitcoin up alts go up. It's like they are being attracted by each other.
I don't really know the reason behind it but it happens.
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 02, 2021, 02:16:00 PM
Does anyone know what is with the unlucky situation Nets keep having? We have seen Harden playing awesome 2 nights ago and they won, but they lacked Durant that game, now I checked and Harden was missing but durant was there?
Load management or they are just protecting their stars.
Because of their injury history Nets management might not want to maximize their minutes and use them at full blast in the playoffs.
That's all I can think of the reason behind all of these missing games.
Of course, they won't tell anyone about it and doctors would agree.

Well, I am more excited watching Jazz and Nuggets now. Could Jazz repeat that long streak again?
