2361  Other / Politics & Society / Re: DONALD TRUMP WILL BE AMERICA'S MOST FAMOUS PRESIDENT on: March 13, 2017, 10:31:50 PM
I do think Donald Trump will be a very famous person in the history of American politics. How long has he been president? Barely three months and he's trending on global news each day . If anyone thinks different about this, he or she should feel free to reply to this topic.
Maybe, but I think anyone interested in the well being of the US and the world in general is hoping that he is at least one of the most effective leaders in the history of the US, if he could reach top 10 in that category I will be happy.
2362  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: March 13, 2017, 10:30:00 PM
There are many religious people on earth. Even the vast majority of the world believes in monotheistic religions.
And often they do not question belief systems. There are many people who have Christian, Muslim and Jewish beliefs.

Why do they still believe in religion. I can not understand why people believe in religions in the age when we can reach the information so quickly.
Because people need a reason, because believing in something greater than yourself seems to be part of human nature.
2363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analyzing All 700 Altcoins on: March 13, 2017, 10:29:13 PM
I really surprised to know that fact there is 700 altcoins have been created until this day. But I was more surprised when you ask someone to analyze all that 700 coin and recap it and also write on this thread. Honestly dude, you don't need to analyze all that 700 coins to know how good they are or to know which altcoins that good to trade. Just look at some coin that have age more than 2 years, and see which coins that can be trade in more than 5 exchangers. After you do that, then you will see which coins that have good future and best to trade or save.
Besides it is not like anyone here has the money to invest in 700 different coins, and even if someone did then it will be a waste of time to split yourself that thin, since it will be better to concentrate on just 5 different coins.
2364  Economy / Speculation / Re: So how many of you are going to sell to rich Wall street tycoons? on: March 08, 2017, 02:31:52 AM
Let's say this whole ETF thing gets approved... and the big guns gets entry into Bitcoin. I speculate that most of you will be selling your bitcoin

before the price reach $2000 per Bitcoin. The majority of bitcoin  owners will sell out to Wall street giants, when the price reach these levels. I

think greed will win out over principle....  Roll Eyes

I hope the true Bitcoiners will hold out until we see prices near $10 000 per Bitcoin in the future. Do not sell ALL your bitcoins, when the price

hits $2000 ..... hoard some for the future, when the price will be $10 000 and more.  Wink

I will sell some, just to reward myself for being this patient.... but there will always be some bitcoins in cold storage for the future.  Grin

Let's hope for the best.  Roll Eyes
The issue is not whether we sell or not but whether after we sell if we come back to bitcoin, if your choice is to get out of bitcoin then it makes sense to cash out, but if you are planning to buy again then there is no point in selling all your coins.
2365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Major DUMP incoming due to upcoming BUChina hardfork on: March 08, 2017, 02:29:58 AM
China miners are about to hijack Bitcoin and cause a contentious hardfork splitting the Bitcoin blockchain.
Think the ETF rejection will be bad? Wait for the massive dump due to the Chinese!

Prediction: ETF rejection dump, MAJOR BUChina hardfork dump, hello $200 my old friend…

I know, I know, I sound like the duckmeister…

It always amazes me how stupid people can be. Thinking giving more control to miners than they already have is a good idea. With mining centralizing in China, that is just giving Bitcoin over to the Chinese. I have no idea why anyone would think that is a good idea…

When China destroys Bitcoin, everyone will wish they stuck with Core but it will be too late!

PS. I hope I am wrong.

Wow!
So much nonsense in one single post.
Very poor and lame attempt to spread FUD.
That's all what you are trying here.
China hijacking Bitcoin? How? Come on man! Give me a break!
Antpool is bluffing! Jihan Wu is pissed and scared of UASF! now he tried to threat back. That's all!
And no major dump will happen! A shit ton of people are just waiting to buy back at 800 or 900. So we will bounce back pretty fast and ~1000 will be the bottom after that.

Basically this, I think many are prediction that ETF is not going to pass but this will bring good new since the price will get lower and we will be able to buy more bitcoin for less.
2366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Litecoin is the only legit Altcoin ! on: March 08, 2017, 02:25:51 AM
LTC is the only legit alternative currency.
All the others are bullshit like clones or anon coins or not a currency at all.

Prime Coin, Grid Coin get a worthy mention though.

Now you know Wink
Spoetnik even if sometimes I don’t even understand what you are saying, I like your posts full of FUD so please don't keep it short. Smiley
2367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analyzing All 700 Altcoins on: March 08, 2017, 02:20:21 AM
700? You probably took that number from coinmarketcap. There are probably as much unlisted coins if not more.

Anyway, would help allot if people who already analyzed all of them share their thoughts.
No one it is going to waste its time to write a review for every single coin, at best there are 10 to 20 coins that are worth your time the others are just trash. Or you could write a review for the other 680 coins, something like, don’t waste your time, would be an accurate review.
2368  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Have you ever known anybody who was robbed by police? on: March 03, 2017, 08:19:34 AM
In my country is extremely common for cops to be criminals themselves, that is why when I think of persons in the first world complaining about their police officers, I think they do not know the way a truly corrupt police force looks like.
2369  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: March 03, 2017, 08:17:11 AM
I think they may do so for privacy purposes.
What user privacy? If buying porn or avoid payment of taxes that is another matter.
The only way to get some privacy with bitcoin is to mix your coins that way you can avoid getting your transactions linked to you or you could get one of those coins that have anonymity features already integrated in the coin.
2370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can I do with 0.6BTC? on: March 03, 2017, 08:12:57 AM
Some classic/common answers :
1. Bitcoin/altcoin trading (need experience)
2. Invest on casino's bankroll (need to find trusted casino)
3. Loan bitcoin to trusted people with interest rate (must careful when loan to people with unknown reputation)
Above three options require considerable initial investment (more than 5 to 10 btc). Otherwise returns will be next to nothing. With 0.6 BTC in hand consider above all options are out of window.
4. Invest to ponzi or HYIP (NOT RECOMMENDED)
5. Invest on real cloud mining or start bitcoin mining (not recommended as well because extreme competition)
6. Invest on new altcoin or altcoin IPO (need experience to find altcoin with good future)
You are right with ponzi/HYIP marked as non-recommended
Real cloud mining schemes are least profit returning options.
altcoin investment is next to gambling and altcoin IPO tends to scam most of time.

With 0.6 BTC in hand just hold them and try to purchase more with your comfort. Don't wast your time and BTC in investment at this moment. You should consider trading once you get minimum 2 to 3 BTC to see considerable profit instead of playing with petty profits.
The earnings you can get through investment or trading are low if you start with 0.6BTC but some earnings are better than no earnings besides is a good idea to being those activities and get experience now rather than later.
2371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin mixer on: March 03, 2017, 08:06:26 AM
Bitcoin mixers are basically the equivalent of money launderers. They are used to disguise the source of funds and are usually an attempt to hide criminal activities. If you use a mixing service, assume that you are sending money to scammers who will have no problem ripping you off.
That is a bad analogy, mixing your coins does not  have to be a way to try to avoid taxation, it is just a way for your transactions to not be tracked by anyone else but you, you can always declare the earnings you had in bitcoin even if you mixed your coins.
2372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best cloud mining operations? on: March 01, 2017, 07:24:25 AM
I see a lot of scam cloud mining websites that are really just HYIPs that will shut down after a month, take all the money, and start a new website.  What are some the real legit mining sites that will actually give you a return and might actually still be there years from now?
Forget about cloudmining, dude, while it may be possible there is an honest operator here and there, most of them are scams so not only you will waste your coins but your time as well.
2373  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: March 01, 2017, 07:21:09 AM
I believe in god, but I think reasons are unnecessary, you either believe in god or not, it is not like god has to prove something to us, you need to make your choice.
2374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: March 01, 2017, 07:18:11 AM
Technology is not always a good thing.

One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

That is bad enough, but when you add the long term effect I has on people the results are devastating, obesity is one of the problems that technology has brought to us, no one walks everyone wants to drive their car for even some of the shortest trips, kids stare at an ipad instead of running and playing sports.
2375  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: February 23, 2017, 02:20:22 AM
I will probably not explain anything to her unless she asked me about it, I have learned that if you try to push a subject and the other person is not interested that person will just disagree with whatever you are saying not because is disagreeing with what you are saying but with the methods.
2376  Other / Off-topic / Re: How balls deep are you in social media? on: February 23, 2017, 02:17:39 AM
I never had a social media account in my entire live and I’m relatively young, my friends hate me for it and my girlfriends and ex girlfriends have tried to get me in and even created an account for me, but I did not use it, and that drives them mad, not knowing where I’m or what I’m up to and the funniest thing is I love it.
2377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Astronomers have discovered 7 planets similar to earth on: February 23, 2017, 01:42:03 AM
According to astronomers, their discovery proves that the earth scenario origin of life is not unique in the Universe. In addition, some planets are potentially habitable to them. Is farthest from its sun, the planet must have a dense atmosphere and liquid ocean hidden under the ice. Planets are near ultrahydrogel red dwarf TRAPPIST-1, which is at a distance of 39.5 light-years from the Solar system.
The fact some exoplanets similar to earth have been found does not mean or proof that the same events that happen on planet earth happen on those planets since there are many unknown variables about how life began in this planet.
2378  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll: Is the creation of artificial superinteligence dangerous? on: February 23, 2017, 01:38:43 AM
I don't think we will ever reach the point where we will create a hard AI, soft AI is everywhere and it is useful but to create an AI that can do everything will be an enormous task, while the predictions seem to suggest we may reach that point in 2050 I disagree the prediction have always been wrong so I think it will be a matter of hundreds if not thousands of years.
2379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Rothschilds: 8 times richer than the richest 8 on: February 19, 2017, 04:41:58 PM
Who the fuck is this Mark Zuckerberg and how the fuck he gets so rich in such a short time i don't understand. Bill Gates worked his ass off over the years and built many many nice things and then this shit face (suckerberg) comes up with a dating website and becomes as rich as Bill Gates. It definitely doesn't fit.

Maybe it is because Facebook is FBI's and CIA's favourite data collection app...
It is people's fault, I don’t like Bill Gates but at least he created some product that were useful at the time, but I have never seen the pull facebook has, as you may guess I never had a facebook account but the rest of the population is crazy about it.
When they say that Bill Gates earned his money I'm laughing. Can you imagine how many good programs and smart programmers he destroyed to be a monopoly? And what do we get in return. Windows which need to constantly reinstall?
He probably destroyed many, so? That is the way capitalism works, how many small shops have been destroyed by wall mart? Many but they either find a way to compete or go extinct, that is the way it is
