23781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Could Be the First Country to Pass a Cryptocurrency Law on: October 17, 2016, 10:40:34 AM
The Russian government must clarify its stance on Bitcoin. BTC is still in the grey zone there. No one knows whether it is legal or illegal to use Bitcoins. This has forced some of the BTC-based businesses to move out of Russia (the exchange BTC-e is a perfect example).
23782  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: October 17, 2016, 10:38:06 AM
Yes. There is a very very safe way to increase your Bitcoin holdings. Here is the secret - work hard and store your coins securely. If you are too lazy to work, then forget about increasing your coin holdings.
23783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Ask The Doctor" Adds Bitcoin to Payment Options on: October 17, 2016, 10:36:01 AM
Glad to hear that more and more online stores and services are allowing payments made in BTC. Who knows? Perhaps we are entering a new phase, after years of stagnation.
23784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: October 17, 2016, 10:34:37 AM
In the western nations, stealing Bitcoins might be considered as a crime by the courts. But I really doubt whether the courts in the third world nations would prosecute someone, who is accused of stealing BTCs.
23785  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: October 17, 2016, 10:32:51 AM
i think this is the other of benefit from bitcoin that can give for other people because with payment with bitcoin, we don't have to give our details that would be dangerous when the site is get hacked.

Now a lot of porn websites allow the payments through anonymous sources, such as pre-paid credit cards and Bitcoin. But in some countries, there are legal issues for allowing anonymous payments.
23786  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK leaving EU is a peoples revolution on: October 17, 2016, 10:30:44 AM

If the Brits are not allowed to have control over their own national borders, then what is the use in seceding from the EU?
From my understanding they don't want the EU to write their laws. I think the main reason for Brexit was Merkel.

If Merkel remains in power, then I am afraid that many more nations will seriously consider seceding from the European Union. The sentiment is running high in some of the member countries such as the Netherlands and France.
23787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: October 17, 2016, 10:28:01 AM
All year, the polls have shown Hillary Clinton ahead of Donald Trump, by as much as 13 percent. The betting odds have been as much as 5:1 in her favor, and Nate Silver, of FiveThirtyEight, has been giving her an 80% chance of winning the presidency. Until now. Tuesday, he said, if the election were held today, Trump would have a 57% chance of winning. That sounds like a landslide.

Hitlery is clearly ahead, and there are no doubts about it. Trump is having a very difficult task on his hand. The minorities (more than 30% of the voters) will never vote for him, and therefore he needs to win the vast majority of the remaining white vote. But his popularity rating has remained at dismal levels among the white women and white youth, which has dimmed his chances of an electoral victory.

Nothing can be believed.

May be. May be not. The average American is not that intelligent to understand the lies spread by the mainstream media. From the beginning, Trump was facing a united opposition from minorities, Arabs, liberals, LGBTs, banksters, and criminals. And to make things worse, even his own colleagues in the GOP are not supporting him anymore.
23788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Moscow - an enemy or a friend? on: October 17, 2016, 10:25:34 AM
Surprising to see Russia not liked by the majority with all the potential they can innovate with :-(

Who told you that the majority of the world population dislike Russia? The only people who are having a hatred for Russia are the pro-ISIS sheikhs of Saudi Arabia and the retarded liberals of the US.
23789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is India really growing faster than China? on: October 17, 2016, 10:23:40 AM
Actually, India is quite serious developing. She was just very backward and her long to catch up with developed countries, but the pace of its development is higher than America.

Not going to happen anytime soon. Just compare the system in India to that in China. India is mired in red-tape and corruption. And in addition to that an insane affirmative action policy is in place, which has led to millions of bright, young Indians migrating to western nations such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

I do agree.  Young Indians now are migrating to the west to flourish their skills.  These countries can give them a brighter and bigger opportunities that their country cannot give them.  But I read that India's economy is booming because of the BPO companies.

The BPO business will soon shift to other locations such as Philippines and South Africa. The quality of the Indian BPO companies are not that good. Also, there are data safety issues.
23790  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump on his last leg? on: October 17, 2016, 10:22:19 AM
It will be a disaster for the human race, if Hillary Clinton is elected as the president of the United States. The world will never be the same. Warfare and economic collapse will engulf us.
23791  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Duterte net satisfaction rate in Philippines is very good... on: October 17, 2016, 10:20:52 AM
Sad state of affairs in Philippines. The Filipinos have suffered so much under the drug cartels that they don't mind a few thousand people getting killed. Hopefully, most of those getting killed are criminals.
23792  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Internet Rumor: Julian Assange Assassinated on: October 17, 2016, 10:19:36 AM
WTF? This is clearly fake news. Perhaps an attempt by Assange to divert the attention of the British agents, and to make an escape from the Ecuadorian embassy. If he is assassinated by the Brits, then the public opinion will turn against them.
23793  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: September 30, 2016, 02:56:56 AM
Expect to have more pinoys actually. He recently asked TelCo companies to set up free wifi zones to public places in the country. This will give the rest of the pinoys to have access on the internet for free and might just clam here aiming to accumulate more btc.  Grin

Free WiFi is OK. But to browse the internet, you need a smartphone or a laptop. Is he having any plans to distribute laptops for free? He can import used and discarded laptops from the US.
23794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is India really growing faster than China? on: September 30, 2016, 02:52:39 AM
China's strength is in technology while India offers diverse services. Both of them are strong in different areas.

China's strength is stolen technology from Japan, Russia and Germany. When was the last time they invented something important in technology? Innovation is just not there in China.
23795  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In what planet did Hillary won? on: September 30, 2016, 02:50:31 AM
It should be win, instead of won.

Hillary Clinton is very ill, physically. She was completely doped up for this debate with medication to keep her up and alert. Some it would be interesting to see how she does in the next debates when Trump starts hitting her hard, and her blood pressure rises.

If he gets an unbiased moderator, then Trump will win the debate. But the last debate was heavily biased in favor of Hillary Clinton. The moderator was supporting her, the crowd was mostly composed of Democrats, and CNN did everything they could do, to show Trump in poor light.
23796  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elon Musk plans to colonise Mars on: September 30, 2016, 02:46:40 AM
Its too bad this man cant run for president  Grin Such a visionary and will go down in history as one of the greats.

You want this fraud as the president? Even Hillary Clinton is better than him. Explain me about his "vision". He has been a complete failure so far, and he is only making money thanks to his lobbying power.
23797  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Duma elections, 18th September 2016 on: September 30, 2016, 02:28:07 AM
As always, Putin won. Means people are satisfied. When people have the dignity they are fighting. The example of neighboring Ukraine.
People voting for Putin because they don't have more options. Oposition parties are weak and now all parties in Duma supporting Putin. But many people are disappointed what happens in Russia, because only less than 50% of people voted in Duma elections.

The turnout was just 47.9%, and this included heavy turnouts in authoritarian regions such as Chechenya (94.9%), Karachay-Cherkessia (93.3%), and Kabardino-Balkaria (90.1%). In the ethnic Russian regions, the turnout was very low. For example, 32.5% in Saint Petersburg and 33.8% in Tomsk Oblast.
23798  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-09-29] BitPay deploys refund mechanism for overpayments on: September 29, 2016, 05:04:46 PM
This is a very bad step. If they activate the refund mechanism, then there will be no difference between Bitpay and Paypal. People are going to misuse it, to cheat honest traders.
23799  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-09-16] ‘Keys to the Kingdom’: Ulbricht Defense Slams Court in Latest Brief on: September 18, 2016, 05:07:35 PM
There is no point in going for appeals. Ross Ulbricht is never going to walk free, as the Wall Street criminals want to make an example out of him. He challenged the existing monetary and financial systems, and he is going to suffer for that. And regarding those fake attempted murder charges.... only retarded people are going to believe in all that BS.
23800  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Eagles v drones: Dutch police to take on rogue aircraft with flying squad on: September 13, 2016, 11:42:06 AM
Usage of drones must be regulated. Sometimes they cause too much nuisance, by encroaching upon the privacy. Also, there have been instances where drones almost caused civil aviation disasters, by crashing with the passenger aircraft.
