I'm curious about the trading in your gambling site, how does it work? Is it a game too or it's a trading just like any other exchange site? or is it something like you need to predict the price in the next 1 minute if its going up or going down? I think I've seen something like that before here in the forum.
It's the bolded. You just predict where the price direction in the future and if your assumption is correct, you win.

Which Bitcoin giveaways are you refering too? In my experience, most of them are either scam or luck based.
I'm not sure how the whole thread derailed with giveaways, but it's just a proverb of what happens when you give someone a whole Bitcoin. It could be a father entrusting his child to keep safe it, or a family member entrusting someone else with it. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure why the discussion is centered around its literal interpretation.

I have a little confusion, to be honest, if that user had been banned from wearing signature (presumably also ban wearing avatar), my question is how that user wore the scam gambling site avatar in the first place or the banned restriction was for the signature only not include the avatar and they still can modify it to wear avatar, if so, they can still promote whatever they want even though they are ban wearing signature.
I'm waiting for the moderator who clarifies this issue and will enlighten my mind here. Exactly my thoughts. I'm not sure why the ban didn't extend to avatar because the profile settings allow the user to enable/ disable both. But my educated guess would be that signatures are clickable, which is the core function of signature campaigns; meanwhile the same doesn't apply for avatars. And also people would see the former when scrolling down to read discussions. My grandma's fav song, lol, but you're right.

I remembered seeing over several million (fake) BFG tokens when I had way way less than that.
Thankfully I avoided it by not approving the contract. Scary.

I really don't have a preferred choice of which trading platform to use but the most I use is Binance which is a people's favorite, but I only have one problem with it...my card is moody sometimes am able to buy my crypto sometimes am unable to use it not even sure if this is a problem on my side or Binance's side. But overall Binance is good, it has a very huge collection of coins you can trade and prices are highly competitive if compared to other top exchanges.
Why not use P2P? Skip the fees, just directly trade with the seller/ buyer.

DCA is one of the best crypto investment methods that has been talked of by most crypto enthusiasts and if this is what it seems like to me by taking part payments with crypto as a salary.
Yup. I get both salaries in crypto and fiat so there are benefits of both. Although there was a time the crypto payment came in near the peak and currently its like almost 50% of its value ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I lost my job during Covid-19, I invested wrongly with my savings, so I was scammed all I saved(twice). It was only a depression option left, but I didn't give up, rent and many other things expiring. Not until a friend saw my quality post on Facebook, he recommended this forum for me, that I could get paid my making contributions. I arrived the forum with the mindset of making money, but now I am seeing something higher (knowledge). So, I decided to gain the knowledge and try learn digital skills(but limited by finance). I would be glad when I start earning from here, and use the proceed to advance my digital skills. When I have good skills, I know I will make money online from multiple sources.
Ouch, that's sad. Were those scams some HYIP?

Some people do argue like the December 2017 must be a right time to take profits for all bitcoin holders so that they could buy back by December 2018. In some sense, they are all right but being a long term holders, I never plan for long term/short term trading of my bitcoins.
Many that joined the 2017 bullrun were a little too late to realize their profits. They thought it would go beyond 20K when it suddenly crashed.

Are you aware of any opportunity for availing free money for margin trading? Or are you referring only demo-money kind of thing for practicing real time trading environment?
Not sure if you've heard of Stormgain but they are a crypto + stock exchange with a free cloud "mining" faucet. Whatever you withdraw from the faucet is used for margin trading. If you're interested to start with a free USDT 3, you can visit the link on my website, under Passive Income Apps. It's quite neat.

Everyone seems to be capable of emailing. Even if they don't use the support email any @freebitco.in address will get through to me except noreply@freebitco.inGotcha. Thanks for explaining.

^Honestly thequin's job is not that easy because we are talking about this type of people all the time all around him every day 7/24 hours and that is a scary thing to think about.
I have been part of few projects but never the face of anything and that is a scary thing, people who do mistakes that come to you instead? I mean I can sort of understand him because I was a telegram mod of a defi project as well but the difference is like 10th league of British league team going against Manchester city, freebitco.in is probably the top website regarding crypto, probably bigger than whole of bitcointalk and that is why his job is a lot harder. This moron is just one and we are talking about many more of these people bugging him every day.
Definitely not an easy task, that's why Support requires a number of staffs on shifts to handle the sheer amount of tickets/ emails. Having work in a Support-related team, I'm aware of those that are a pain to deal with. Usually they're warned to stop their unwanted behavior, else they won't receive any help anymore. The contact form in the FAQ section is not available when you're not logged?
Yup, not sure the reason though. If users aren't aware of the Bitcointalk forum, I wonder how are they going to seek assistance.

I'm actually surprised OP has been "scammed" by 2 sites.
Nobody can help you with returning those funds, unfortunately. Especially when the scammer's identity is unknown.

I know that scam are not moderated and most of those participant have been red tagged. If I'm not mistaken, some previous yobit signature campaign participant should also be banned from displaying signature just because yobit is a scam exchange. Meanwhile, both site have been proven to be scam, so I think it's a good idea for the admin to take the same action as the yobit participant.
Well, your suggestion has been brought up multiple times but the final answer has always been que sera, sera (whatever will be, will be): Forum doesn't moderate scams. Its up to each individual to determine if a person is going to scam or not. The forum doesn't act as a judge, jury or executioner.
In other words, you have to do your own research or you pay for your carelessness.

|
|
Honestly I also want to suggest admin to take this ban action for those who promote scam site like 1xbit and Betking.io so far active on the forum. This can prevent forum users from accessing the site so that the incidence of scam can be reduced. But since forum don't moderate scam, is it possible for andmin to take such a ban?
Scams are not moderated AFAIK. That's why those joining such campaigns are negative-tagged and have active flags raised against them.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with reseting my password to freebitco.in... I was logged in on my laptop, but I wanted to roll from my phone, therefore I tried to log there, but it screamed at me sth like "Too many unauthorized attempts to log in, we have sent you an email, where you can authorize this device"... but it didn't come through... So, I tried to at least reset my password but I haven't received any resetting email even though I added " noreply@freebitco.in" to my contacts... I tried to find some support contact and that led me here... I need help please ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Whatever advice you can give me could solve my problem. Thank you in advance guys and have a beautiful day ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Shoot a PM to TheQuin. You might have to go through some verification process, but that's the only way to recover your account.

I missed it. That's a juicy APR but the limit of 10 BSW per wallet is kinda discouraging. I wouldn't have unstaked my BSW from the auto-compounding pool or sold any BFG/other tokens just for this.
Don't worry, the astronomical rate that is bottlenecked by the max cap of like 10 bucks is definitely a gimmick, just like what you said. The amount of BFG I got aren't even sufficient to cover the unstaking some BSW + BSW-BFG staking cost. If I left my BSW to auto-compound with over 500% APR, I'd earn more from that ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

@Hhampuz I sent a PM a few weeks back asking if you could put me in the queue to move up as I had ranked up to Hero, I appreciate you are probably inundated with messages. If there are available slots, he will move you to the next position. And according to the spreadsheet, the ones before you are rhomelmabini, followed by aysg76. Therefore, you'll have to wait until at least 3 slots are vacant.

As a person who worked with 2 different casinos in marketing department for a total of 2 years, I can clearly say that the biggest reason why casinos end up bankrupting is the fact that they get hacked, all the other parts are nothing that important at all. I can start a casino with 100 bucks today, and then keep spending 100 bucks a month on it, and keep surviving, sure I would need others to bankroll it, but no matter how much it is, even if small, as long as it is not zero, I do not need to close shop at all.
Even if I have 100 bucks in there, even if the max bet earning is 1$ then it is still a casino, it sucks, it is bad, but it is there, I do not need to close it and I can keep spending 100 bucks on marketing and hope for the best every month. Just because it "earns few cents a month" doesn't mean that I have to close it or it is bad. Only reason most casinos bankrupt suddenly is the fact that they get hacked, and since they have shit ton of money from gamblers depositing, they lose insane amount of money, and they may end up paying it back, but that just stops the business as a whole.
Hmm, interesting. But I wonder, why hack a casino when it's still in its infancy stage? Not like it has a massive bankroll top begin with.
