2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to judge whether newly listed coins are worth investing? on: August 03, 2021, 08:23:04 AM
Personally I, when seeing a new token, I start with investigating docs, ideas, team members, partnerships, community and tokenomics, of course. I just estimate the web-site, read what people say in their chats and look through documents.
This is an exact way I am also into practice for years but unfortunately most devs are easily making up themselves for all these criteria which lead me to disappointments in the end hence I believe we must adopt some other effective methods so that devs cannot artificially manipulate to convince us to decide about investing with them. For this reason, I guess we must need to consider what OP is emphasizing here. I mean not all the things of OP but one or two effective methods me must adopt in additions to what we are following for years. This is in attempt of bringing changes to the final results of our investments.

Once you are platinum user or above then nitro option might be shown on your profile. If it not be shown then you have to contact with them for the option. If already shown then you have to ask them to activate nitro. The amount you will receive on the time of activation you will receive same amount base on usd on 7 days. Before it was base on bitcoin but now it is base on usd. And after the week you have to send message again and ask them to activate again and it will continue like each week then again...............
"might show up. . "

Guessing not everybody who ranked Platinum gets to have the nitro feature.
But since you posted this on public, I guess everybody who didnt know would be asking for it.
I have been active and I am still nowhere near that level, there is no need to worry about it. In these type of situations I do not really care about where I am standing because at the end of the day why would I care what I am going through at level wise when I am already having fun? Wasn't that the purpose? To have fun? Isn't that why we gamble? That is at least why I gamble and I have to say it is definitely very fun even without nitro or anything else so it doesn't really change much for me.

I have to also say that bitsler didn't look like it would grow this big when it first started all those years ago, it was a "late" bloomer because we already picked places in 2013-2014 periods and this was seen as "late" and now look at it, this is one of the oldest places that you can gamble in crypto world and it is still keep getting people back, definitely great management.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 02, 2021, 05:51:27 PM
What scares me the most about Mercedes at this point is that they ended up somehow find a 0.4 more seconds per lap on their car, I think it is 0.4 seconds faster than Red Bull even, since they were slower that means it could be even more seconds. Which is scary for Red Bull, look at Hungary qualifiers, with 1-2 of Hamilton and Bottas it shows how fast Mercedes car got, that is a ton of pace to be scared of.

If this was just crash and that's it and Max will return to fight then there is no problem, we will see a very entertaining season. However if Mercedes actually found a way to get the car 0.4 faster than Max every lap, then it is going to be a nightmare second half of the season for Red Bull.
2384  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: August 02, 2021, 10:53:11 AM
will government regulations on cryptocurrencies undermined crypto decentralized nature?
Governments may able to interfere only up to some level and not up to the level where the basic characteristics of cryptos to be disturbed. I mean a crypto user may remain anonymous and enjoy all the benefits of cryptocurrencies regardless of what level of regulations imposed by their government. This way, I believe we can enjoy cryptos without losing its decentralized nature even among government's regulations but the only need is getting into cautious practices.

By cautious practices I refer P2P and other similar things things. Government cannot make P2P trading illegal hence if we choose right practices then crypto will remain decentralized in any level of government regulations.
2385  Economy / Economics / Re: The Central Digital currencies will make monetary policy more difficult on: August 02, 2021, 07:44:53 AM
With the new digital central currencies such as yuan, euro, dollar,... anyone could potentially hold an account on a central bank skipping the intermediaries. I think that this will have a negative effect on the ability to cope with further crisis by monetary policies. The risk should not be ignored.
Sorry, I could not get your point; how CBDC will skip intermediaries but traditional fiat in electronic format will not? I mean in my understanding, all CBDCs are just digital version of what we have today in the name of fiats. So, could you explain more on by intermediaries, whom you are referring; which definitely will help me to interpret your point in more better way.

The traditional banking system "multiplies" the effect as a result of the fiduciary system (you can lend more than you have).
That is the old problem of our governments and I guess that will not intensify just because of adoption of central digital currencies. I mean governments will keep printing more than their reserves even they delay adopting CBDC.

^Hamilton winning qualifiers is not really that shocking, dude is 7 time world champion so it is normal that he ends up in pole time to time, we are so used to Max being at pole at this point that we are shocked whenever he is not. He wasn't even second this week, he will start at second line which is why I honestly think that it is not going to be easy for him at all, he may end up passing Bottas as we can all imagine, but Hamilton getting that huge advantage may end up with going on a big lead right after second or third lap, I can see Bottas holding up Max long enough to get Hamilton put like some 5+ second difference, even maybe 10 if he is lucky after third lap, then even if Max passes Bottas, it is not going to be possible to reach to Hamilton after that, which is why I think this race depends on Bottas a lot, and of course if any risky things happen or not.
2387  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bithobo.com — Provably Fair Dream Catcher on: August 01, 2021, 05:44:15 PM
Based on Bithobo support's clarification earlier, it seems like he didn't inform them about the bug at all. He simply took advantage of it in order to win a lot of games and tried to withdraw his winnings which Bithobo refused.

If this is the actual truth, the ethical thing to do here is to ban him from their site and improve the security of the site drastically in order to prevent more such cases asap.
Let us see how will this pans out. In case, the site should just return the initial deposit of hauzenberg and ban his account afterwards. If they have potential bugs to resolve, they need to provide rewards for those who find bugs on their site so people will not take advantage if they found one. There will always be people like that.
I understand the "pay people to find bugs" type of thing, it is done by many people and many places and I agree that it doesn't sound that bad at all, it is basically just a way to make people work for free until they are actually useful, that way you do not pay some staff member to do nothing for not finding something, you only pay when there is actually proof of hard work. However I do not agree that anyone who finds one and abuses it should be given their money back, basically just either notify the website or be banned about it if you ask me.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 10 casino sites on: August 01, 2021, 04:50:22 PM
There would be no objections since this aren't exactly famous casinos in the forum that you've listed. Although, I might add that it's a good thing that you listed this casinos so they can be checked here for legitimacy.
There will be no objections? Well, I would always object against such lists because these casinos although might be legit but few of them might be scams and because there are 10x better casinos, I don't think we need to appreciate a list of casinos that might be a reason for few innocent gamblers being scammed.

I don't think we should be even talking on this topic at all because it only bumps the thread upwards and some new readers might actually play at these casinos and in case any of them are scams, we will be indirectly behind the reason for their loss.
2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin to look out for 2021 on: August 01, 2021, 09:12:42 AM
In the year 2021, the entire cryptocurrency has witnessed remarkable achievement in terms of price, adoption, and development, and few coins which held their token sales have also become successful on the exchanges. With the coming of Defi, NFT, and the full operation of the binance smart chain (BST). This and many more have aided our general perception of how the digital currencies market has developed.

Take before coin market cap (BCMC) for-instance the team promised a stable price of $0.01 and after the token sale, the coin got listed on p2pb2b exchange 3 months down the line the coin still maintain $0.01 price this and many more coins/tokens have yielded investor high profits. Add your favorite altcoins of the moment.
My coin list is basically is ; btc, eth, bnb, dot, matic, ada, uni, cake, link, sol, wave, monero, atom, tezos, dash and swipe. I know that looks like a very complicated list but they are all one days greats, they were never great for a long time, but they were known and liked by many for a very long time. I feel like they may make a big comeback, aside from swipe which was always new and low and stayed that way.

These are not bad but I do not put my money into them equally of course, btc, eth and bnb have most of them and the rest have just little bit in my portfolio, I wanted to show every single coin or token just in case even if they are small. I have some very tiny defi projects invested as well but I am regretting that I invested into them, however market has dropped significantly after I did so I can't blame them but I didn't want to name them since I regretted it myself.
2390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: July 31, 2021, 08:43:43 PM
indeed many do not want to bother too much to watch the movements of each moment of the trade but there are also those who really enjoy it that way. everyone clearly has a different character and cannot be equated because everyone does it based on the experience they have and like.

but I agree with your opinion that I prefer not to worry about what will happen by holding on in the long term because we can be sure that it will always be profitable because there will always be renewable ATH and never will there be a decline.

but if anyone wants day trading, it's also not wrong as long as trading is actively, so that they can get the difference they are looking for, if currently experiencing a correction, of course, not much is expected.
I am exactly in the same boat, but for different reasons. Most of my money (nearly all) is in long term investment, I have nearly all my money in btc/eth/bnb right now, with very very small amount in 10-20 different things, I say 10-20 which is a lot of difference because there are like 3 above 100, and 6 above 50, and maybe 10 above 20 dollars, the other 10 is under 20 dollars and just totally nothing to me even though I have under 3k right now total.

With all that said, I still have about 100 bucks that I keep on trading, I like it and that is why I do it, think of it like gambling because at this point I do not see any difference between me trading and me gambling since I am that bad at trading, I got lucky this year because everything was going up, but normally I am very bad at it, which is why I do not trade too much, not because I do not like it, I would prefer to be trader if I could, but because I can't do it, hence why I am a long term investor.
2391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Best coin in 2021 on: July 30, 2021, 05:31:34 PM
can you tell me which is the best coin in 2021 to take maximum profit and gain?? Plz give your opinion
I am expecting Eip 1559 to increase ethereum price a lot by the end of the year. It is already a bit higher because of the recent market spike, however I believe that it is going to be even higher very soon. All we have to look at is the fact that it will drop the gas fee even more, it has dropped a lot in the recent months, it used to be as high as 40+ dollars, nowadays it is nowhere near those levels but with this it is going to be even less, probably 50% or more less.

This will not have an impact right away, but it is going to change things a bit slower and gradually. It means the upcoming days of 2021 will be amazing for ETH and maybe even UNI because of it. The date for it was 4th august, it was 14th of July at first but got postponed and I do not know if it will be postponed again or not, ETH is known for postponed stuff so let's see what will happen.
2392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Data PROVES It: The Wealthy Were BUYING, As Amateurs Sold In Fear... on: July 30, 2021, 03:49:45 PM
The Whales, bitcoin holders who manage between 1,000 and 10,000 Bitcoins, who had sold when the price had topped $30,000, have changed their strategy and are now accumulating.

Comparing the activity of seven holder segments over the period of November 2020, starting from those with less than 1 BTC to whales: addresses with less than 1 BTC, 1 to 10 BTC, 10 to 100 BTC, 100 to 1,000 BTC, and 1,000 BTC to 10,000 BTC...
Which is why it’s very important for us to sell our coins when the whales are more likelyto start selling their coins and then buy back when the market has dropped in value. And after you have bought back the bitcoins, you can then continue with your HODL and continue to hold until the market goes up again. The market has started going up again and it has reached $40,000 in a day, and now sits at $37,000. Even if there is a drop from here, we now know that there is the possibility for the coin to rise again to a price that is as high as $40,000. So it’s very important to have patience and wait for it to happen.
2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying old coins: Is it worth it? on: July 30, 2021, 10:09:08 AM
Actually I would say, before thinking of going this route of investing or buying old coins, you will need to understand the type of old coin you want and your speculation about it , thus I am in agreement with your first paragraph. Crypto most of the times moves with trend, and this is key to the growth of most coins we see today, and funny enough only newer coins tend to tap into most the trend at that point in time, hence why it looks like old coins like the one mentioned have been forgotten.
Therefore the reason why I started with, understanding the old coin you want to buy is to know if the team of that coin are a flexible kind, who can try their best to incorporate what is happening in the crypto space at that point, if the team are then it's worth buying.
BNB is a coin whose team are always ready to try new things, hence the reason it is still relevant and bigger than most old coins. Every team needs to understand this, add their unique features and see their token regaining its worth overtime.
In this case I would think that there is a good chance old coins could take advantage of the new technologies as well, depending on the coin. Of course there are horrible coins that went lower and lower over time, but at the same time we had better and better improvements on some of the old coins as well.

Look at BNB for example, with emergence of DeFi world, they applied it right away and had BSC which allowed them to take advantage of all the profits from it, making BNB go from under 30 dollars to nearly 700 dollars one point and still 10x more than what it used to be. It is not a new coin at all and still managed to go up in the end.

There were also a lot of coins that were brand new and yet failed to garner any attention at all. All of which shows us that it is not about being new or old, it is about being able to adapt to whatever is the big deal of that period.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 30, 2021, 06:21:10 AM
The fact that someone is winning many times in a row all the time does not mean anything. This happens simply due to randomness, some gamblers guess 10 times in a row the color that will appear in the roulette wheel, but this does not mean that they could predict it   Wink

As for cockfighting and tips for them, I would stay away from that, in any case there is some unpleasant background and it is better to avoid meeting it.
Yeah, winning 6 or any number of bets in a row is as common and random as losing that many in a row. Maybe in sports betting, one can claim that they know something others don't if they win more bets and maintain a good record.

I wasn't aware of cockfighting until now and seems like a pretty cruel game to me from what I have learned by googling the term because I am against any sport where you let two animals fight just for fun and even place bets on it. I would also stay away from betting on such events.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 29, 2021, 07:17:23 PM
Of course we have more chance to earn in trading unlike in gambling that is more on luck. What I said is they have similarities, it means they're associated with risk thus a guaranteed profit is not certain and it depends on our strategy (if you trade).

On the other side if you cant manage your time to do both, then might as well focus on what you most prefer to do. Dont force yourself if its giving you a hard time because your health might put at risk.
Drawing comparisons between trading and gambling is quite funny.

Trading is meant for earning money by predicting the market movement based on news, etc.

Gambling is meant to spend the earned money by playing games which you like and at times winning which will keep you interested in gambling. If you only lose in gambling, you will be bored within a week.
2396  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: July 29, 2021, 05:44:45 PM
Cryptocurrency will not cause a financial crisis. The proportion of people holding cryptocurrency in the world is very small, and the market value of cryptocurrency is not enough to pose a great threat to the financial system. The financial crisis is caused by the unlimited printing and distribution of money by institutions to cause inflation. Bitcoin is not controlled and restricted by the government, and the total amount is fixed, and it will not be issued.
It is obvious that we should not be worried about crypto "causing" a financial crisis, we should be focusing on how it can prevent one. I have to say that it is obvious for people to mistake what bitcoin is capable of, sometimes they think it is huge but then they realize if it is so huge then when it crashes then it should bring down so many people and create a crisis.

The first part of that is true, it is huge, it is over a trillion dollars even after the fall, we broke over 2 trillion dollars at one point, that is bigger than stock market of so many nations so we can clearly say it is huge. However what people do not realize is that even though it is huge, it is not a huge thing that causes crisis, it is a huge thing that helps crisis, in any bad situation if you are in crypto you are making a good profit, because that is what it is there for and that is how you make a profit during bad times.
2397  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance squeezes users on verification on: July 29, 2021, 01:18:00 PM
I predict a lot of outflow from binance and a lot of inflow to other exchanges like Huobi and Kucoin. Binance volume will go down as a result. Not sure about the BNB price, I doubt it will drop but it won't pump like it used to. BSC is quite good - apart from all the DeFi scams and Rug Pulls on this chain!
Yeah, I also think BNB won't be too impacted with this move but I won't blame Binance alone here because it is the persistent pressure from legal authorities to ask for documents and no matter how much Binance avoids and ducks, at some point, they had to give up and seems like they did eventually now.

By the way, if a big exchange like Binance has been forced to do something, I don't think users are safe with any centralized exchanges right now. In fact, it's time to spread awareness about decentralized exchanges and withdraw from centralized wallets/exchanges.
2398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is this a good divide? thanks on: July 29, 2021, 10:39:31 AM
i was thinking %35 bitcoin, %25 eth, %15 cardano, %15 ravecoin, %10 alt coins just for the fun of it lol.

does this make sense?

keep in mind im 15 and dont got that much money lol
That’s really good. If you’re going to continue it like this and keep on with the Hodl for long term, in some years you will be making huge profit from the little money you have invested now. Investing in cryptocurrency is all about patience, and I believe that since you’re young you will be getting funds from your guardians or parents, so your feeding and some other necessities wouldn’t be a problem since, I believe, your money for investing is coming through the pocket money you’re getting from them. So, try to hold for long. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cardano are good, although Cardano is quite new in the market.
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 28, 2021, 08:13:01 PM
Honestly when USA is winning like this, that should be also gaining some momentum for them as well. They lost to France which is a shameful display and they are "most probably" going to be second in the group as well, I doubt that France would lose either to czechs or Iran for that matter, but let's assume that even if they end up somehow being the first, they are going to face a lot better opponents in the upcoming matches. They really need to get their work in order and win the last game so that it would not be a shame for them.

With all of that said, I still think that Slovenia has a big shot at this title, I know everyone thinks USA will win but after such a horrible display against France and seeing how Luka can bring so much to the table, I feel like as long as Luka can will his team to wins, there is still a "chance", not saying it will happen, but it is at least possible.
2400  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 28, 2021, 05:32:39 PM
Cryptocurrency investors are more 'risk-averse' than traders, since they are more comfortable with leaving their investments alone and are not concerned with the daily price volatility. However, traders are risk-takers since frequent trading incurs a much higher degree of risks. This is because the extreme volatility of short-term cryptocurrency prices can present traders with the opportunity to make lots of money but could be equally disastrous if they are on the wrong side of the bet. Additionally, traders often engage in margin trading, which is a practice of borrowing funds from third parties to trade cryptocurrencies. Margin trading significantly increases the risks of trading since the traders have the ability to make more money (as compared to using their own funds) but also increases their potential losses.
I honestly believe that there is a good chance we could end up with a lot of profit only if we could ignore the price. I have done that for a very long time now and I am very happy with the results. I am not only invested in bitcoin, I am invested heavily into eth and bnb as well and making profit in both of them, and I have invested in some smaller coins as well like uniswap and cake as well and making a profit in both of them as well.

In short, the ability to ignore the price allowed me to make a good profit in the long run, and for some people that is not easy for some reason, but an investor could make a profit 100% guaranteed given enough time whereas a trader may end up losing money all the time forever if they are bad at it, or they could make a lot more profit than an investor if they are good at it, so it is a risk that you take while becoming a trader.
