2381  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin's Weak Points on: October 21, 2019, 11:32:00 AM
From what I have experienced with bitcoin. It's weakness was always the slow transactions. Whenever I send some btc into my wallet, i experienced a whole day before receiving it. Fees are also high just like what others are complaining about.

Aside from that, I can never say any weakness of it. And oh wait, when it comes to the exposure. Scammers mostly used bitcoin in their fraudulent acts and that also makes his reputation so low.
2382  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: October 21, 2019, 10:41:33 AM
We can't blame those people who just laughed at us (bitcoin  believers), for them this is some kind of a joke. Not realizing we are benefiting from these kind of investment. We can predict anytime we want, the point here is that our prediction will gonna happen since cryptocurrency is a volatile thing. If we'll say bitcoin will gonna hit $15k, it will. If not for now, then for the upcoming years.

That's the problem here, people are afraid of new things and will not believe unless they see some proofs. Now, they can witness how bitcoin grow and how it develops well.
2383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From financial debt to financial stability- thanks to bitcoin on: October 21, 2019, 08:22:05 AM
Such an inspirational story. Unfortunately, there are so many ponzi schemes that attracts innocent people. I have never heard of AMAN but I do know some bitcoin trading ponzi networking. My brother advised me not to fall for those tricks. The lesson here is that we can even do trading by our own with the help of this forum, youtube videos and some immediate mentors.

Anyway, I'm so happy that you compensate your deficit before. Good thing you don't only rely with trading earnings but you still have a good stable job.
2384  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ETH - 4TH QUARTER PRICE PREDICTION [GAME] on: October 19, 2019, 08:01:41 AM
Nice, bro. Nakakatuwang isipin na may pa games na ganito kang naisip. I wanna predict, too. Eth's price for December will be $210. Tumama o hindi, the bottom line here is we are happy  participating.

Anyway, you made a good step hiring trusted ka-pinoy blankcode for this. Thumbs up to you, OP. Keep up the good work, this contest serves an inspiration to everyone here. Cheesy
2385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and kiddie porn on: October 18, 2019, 09:11:20 AM
Unfortunately, there are really something like this in the internet (dark web i mean) that do such crap things in exchange of money. And this digital paymeny have been made for anonymous transactions.

Called Welcome To Video, the website relied on the bitcoin cryptocurrency to sell access to 250,000 videos depicting child sexual abuse, authorities said, including footage of extreme abuse of young children. Its upload page specifically stated, ?Do not upload adult porn?.

That's how they ruined the cryptocurrency's reputation for the sake of high money returns. Glad that authorities have settled and arrest those who are responsible for this child abuse act.
2386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exaggerating portfolio returns on: October 18, 2019, 05:15:11 AM
Look, dude. Do not lie. What's wrong telling them that you are a crypto trader? And 130% returns for three months is not that exagerrated. You can always say t the employer that trading is not 100% successful and that your high returns is not always like that. However, do not just create presumptions, yet. Not all employers will require you to give them some profs. They will just slightly interview and gonna ask you few questions about it.

And let me tell you that not all employers know about crypto trading. So go on and just tell the truth.
2387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: October 18, 2019, 03:36:54 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Does your point stating that an altcoin's a result of bitcoin price effect?

Since it is all about the demand and supply, the limited quantity of bitcoin makes the price movements. It's not because of those altcoins. So, in short. Altcoins are just decorations and does not have nothing to do with bitcoin's actions.

But let me clear this things out. Altcoins are created to sustain or to support what bitcoin is lacking. Like ethereum. Since fees are higher with slow transactions witb bitcoin, altcoins such as eth and others are available to choose from. That's why selected altcoins are still useful in crypto.
2388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Half of the airport’s workstations infected with a crypto mining software on: October 18, 2019, 02:25:18 AM
They are probably mining XMR

Yes, it's about the xmrig monero miner. How did those malicious malware entered the airport's computer system? Unless there is an insibe job who does all the job inserting such malware program to the computer. I wonder how much Europe's airport spent huge electric bill for unconsciouly knowing there is a mining of xmr for a couple of months.

2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 18, 2019, 12:53:32 AM
Though projects tend to give good rewards for the bounty participants, the token reward itself is mostly a shitcoin resulting with no value at all at the end. So, if I may advice. Bounty hunters should really check the project's product and goal. DYOR is a must but we should also have a deep analysis if those product they are using will become useful after launching it or if there product is really possible to happen, then a big possibility that it may be a success project.

When it comes to investors, many thought that IEO is the key answer to a well estaished projects. Have you noticed there is a decreased of hype or news about IEO? Anyway, I would still prefer this than go back to those ICO scam projects.
2390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 17, 2019, 06:04:37 AM
Do you even realized that many new investors are still buying and investing cryptocurrencies? If i were to ask about future, btc will still stay for so many years. The development is growing fast and the adoption is starting. I do hope you get back in trading your coins so you would be aware that the train you are talking about is still active and fast just like before. I do not see any certain reason why investors will turn their back in crypto investments.
2391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 17, 2019, 04:14:51 AM
OP already answered his/her own question in the title of the thread. However, there are already tons of topics about the comparison of gold vs bitcoin. It is just simple- bitcoin is digital investment while gold is a physical investment. The criteria of gold is far from btc's characteristics.

On the other hand, both have limited quantities that is why both are special as an investments. I don't think it is wise to compare those two with different uses in real life.
2392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A new place to Trade crypto on: October 17, 2019, 03:09:23 AM
Obviously a shilling post providing the link of the exchange. It is always best to check the review and feedback of such new exchanges that you may want to consider to trade in. I am not bragging here or to discourage anyone, but choose wisely when it comes to entrusting your coins for trading. Reputable exchanges with higher security offer shall be considered in choosing a crypto exchange.

You may want to read some feedback and analysis here about okex.
2393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: October 17, 2019, 01:40:03 AM
For now, I can only comment on few exchanges that I am using.
-Binance
-Bitmex
-Coinbase

And doing some small trades in Tokenomy exchange. Am still studying and trying this exchange site, though.

So far, I haven't experienced such inappropriate things to those exchanges. Binance and Bitmex is one of my favorites crypto exchanges since I can do some stop loss.  When it comes to margin and swing trades, I always consider bitmex. When it comes to the reputation, those who are on your list was always included.
2394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you heard about McAfee’s New DEX ? on: October 17, 2019, 12:31:33 AM
What? Never heard of that useless thing so I suddenly search and look at it in google. It's true. He never fails to surprised us with his decisions. After all, he is still not giving up doing such crap related to cryptocurrency. And yeah, let us see if his exchange will gonna survive or not.
Afterall, there are still followers and believers of McAfee so we can still expect that they may want to try new exchange dex like this one.

And for the update, his exchange is still surviving. Refer to this info.
2395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of digital money depends on smart phone technology and people's knowledge on: October 16, 2019, 09:01:47 AM
Great points, OP. There are several measurements how these digital money's development grow. Technology keeps on growing fast. But sad to say, there are still people who are left behind of this kind of advanced technology we are talking about.

Problems we are facing even though technology has been developed worldwide, mass adoption is still not achieve because of this few things;

-not all people have smart phones
-there are still people in remote areas that doesn't know that such internet exists.
-lack of knowledge.
-not all businesses are open for the blockchain technology and crypto payments
2396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Cryptopia: Bitcoin, Blockchains and the Future of the Internet" on: October 16, 2019, 04:12:23 AM
I can always wait for that time if such video will be shown and released in the internet. I hope those bitcoin enthusiast will give only a positive input about bitcoin. I also haven't had a chance to watch the previous film Bitcoin: The  end of money as we know it. But i took a glimpse on it's trailer. They have managed to produce such high standard film.

I guess the new film will also explained the pattern of this technology aside from hearing some comments from some of those bitcoin enthusiasts.
2397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dollar-Cost Averaging for Your Crypto Portfolio on: October 16, 2019, 02:30:14 AM
I visited and read some of your content in the url you have given. A great help to those who wanna handle their portfolios and want to integrate some strategies on how to regularly check when likely to buy your bitcoin.

Seems like DCA (Dollar cost averaging) can be useful to prevent such mistakes especially to those portfolios that has a poorly management when it comes to their asset or invesments.

I like the idea of you article showing some real calculations if we decided to do some DCA. That will be a great step to build a strong portfolio while gaining.

2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: October 16, 2019, 12:19:28 AM
Since Libra is facing so many disappointments and issues regarding data leaks or data exposure. I highy doubt that Libra will continue to launch their coin. After so many partners and investors that are withdrawing and turning their back to the project, the big question is--how can  their project be successful without having a support from investors?

They will gonna launch the said project if they already met the criteria as we know they are facing some oppositions and criticisms right now.
