yea I am glad a block was found.. but uh I earned less in almost 5 days than I would have gotten in 1 day.. not sure what I could have done differently
I pointed all my gear to the pool and it shows almost 8TH on the ckpool stats hash rate
but in my rewards N/AVG it only shows 2.8TH
My miners never went down that I am aware of so what did I do wrong here
Welp...it's been explained well by 2 others, and if you'll remember, I also relayed to you that your first few payouts weren't going to be up to par /w what you felt they should be...hang in there. Kano put it best by saying 'stop' mining now and you'll still get paid (until your shares are used up, basically). Ya gotta trust someone, sometime. Be cool. Now...about those red pantie pics...send 'em out, we need proof. |

I dont have the time to take care of the pool security anymore. The site is constantly harassed from all sides and i dont have the necessary expertise to handle it. Worrying all the time about intrusion and hackers is not fun. So the pool is closed until... i dont know. Maybe it's' time to move on to other projects.
I thought to hire the mintpal security advisor to help, but i was told it's just not a good idea.
Thanks to all miners and renters that kept the pool alive all that time.
Renters with a balance can PM me with deposit address, password and a return BTC address to get their fund back.

I'm not convinced that I can keep up with the big guns, but I have put my single GPU to work. I'll give HEDGE a fair shake.
You say that the boosted coins would have a developer; are you staffed well enough to ensure this? How will said devs be paid? Are we actively pursuing coins currently and who makes the choices? Do we, coin holders, have any part in those decisions?

The developers in our team, EquiTeam, will get payed of the shares that did not get swapped back. But there i no need to think that reallife developers getting paid 50 BTC/coin or so. Those are the wages that scammers make you believe they need to earn. In reality, we take honour in what we are about to do, and that should cover most of it. EquiTeam members will select some coins, and based on community input and feedback a certain coin will be chosen. So yes, the community has an input on that decision. Wow....if you guys pull this off......cool, my hats off to ya! I'm liking this a bit more. |

I see one big problem in the roadmap... infact i see a few A takeover of a existing coin is not really interesting, the only way that HEDG can benefit from it, is when they take over a coin on a major exchange like Cryptsy. The take-over coin been removed and swapped to HEDG coins. Advantage HEDG will be listed on Cryptsy, disadvantage, i don't think that cryptsy would ever allow this kind of transaction. and just taking over a coin without able to benefit from it, is something like changing owner of a dead coin. It's not always about the benefit or the profits Placebo. It's about the greater cause, and the revival of solid coins that got wounded just because the dev took of. Compare it to BMW taking over MINI. It still had some enthousiasts, some lovers, but it was a dead brand. Look at it now. Exactly the same thing we plan on doing. Giving older coins THEIR OWN value back. Not to give it a HEDGE value/brand. We will boost up coins, revive them again, and ensure that there is a developer behind it. But the coin stays the same. in my ramblings I realize that we need to collectively do a rain-dance to the mining gods and maybe even offer up a new member as sacrifice to appease the gods and show us favor. and then I think fuck that I am the new member.
It's been suggested that all noobs to the pool should wear RED PANTIES for their first week. A small sacrifice, at this point it may take a truly unique thong or sling. Lets just hope it doesn't degenerate to the point of requiring anybody to parade around the front yard on a Sunday morning till the neighbors see them  Parade around in Red Panties.. . WTH where is your mind..... This makes me wonder, "What kind of (to use your words) degenerate's have I decided to befriend here ?"  LOL Good ppl here, but in full disclosure, not for the faint of heart. Just sayin'. |

@hedgehogcoin I've been reading this forum thread as well as the white-paper. It would seem you have a lot of nay-sayers out there...but as most, I don't pay much attention to the cry-babies. So my questions: I only have 2.5Mh to throw in here for mining speed, is this coin one that should be solo-mined or better off /w going the pool route? Why hang onto this coin? What about the more powerful miners, that got in quick, and get out the same way by dumping? How does this coin intend to 'hedge' against this threat? Is this going to be a long term investment to hang onto? Are you devs really going to stay with this? I know there are no guarantees, but why should I undertake being a part of this as a solo, small-time, individual miner, noob trader, with an interest in the altcoin world? Doesn't the little guy usually get pushed out? What qualifies you to be an adviser/dev/advocate for this coin?
