The Unobtanium experiment is an attractive possibility.  Why?  The bottom line is the price.  For little risk you can get some of only ~192,000 UNO before next reward halving.  See what the slightest uptick in demand does for UNO on the charts.  Price spent most of the last year in the 0.003 - 0.006 BTC/UNO range.  That means current prices around 0.008 - 0.01 BTC/UNO aren't anything yet with UNO getting rarer and in several strong hands already.

I started making monthly UNO buys 3 months ago using $ to BTC to UNO.  I will continue making UNO buys monthly using extra $ (not rent $).  I did need to sell 425 UNO to bankroll other investments (sold at ~ 0.0045 on 9/22/14).  I think I will be making October UNO buy earlier in the month than I did with September  .  I'm patient with UNO progress and have zero necessity to sell mucho UNO at this time.  

Currently I'm holding 95% of my UNO as reserve and 5% is for trading, donations, crypto dice, etc...  I'm looking forward to 0.01 price and beyond.  New UNO investors have not missed the train.  I'm watching BTC price - and if it goes much lower... low price UNO could evaporate quickly.

Maybe a crypto champion in the bunch?

Only keep what you are willing to lose in exchange accounts.  My email and exchange accounts were recently hacked (didn't have 2fa) and I was looted ~ 2.0 BTC worth of UNO and other altcoins.  After I regained control of the accounts I looked at what the attacker sold my 100 UNO for (I had a sell order for them all at 0.01) on Bittrex and lowest was around 0.0035.  I was planning on selling some of the coins I had on the exchanges to add to bankroll for sports betting purposes.  Very glad I heeded earlier advice to remove most coins from exchanges - I could have lost 500+ UNO!    Cryptsy was able to halt withdrawal action after I notified them of the security breach (it was close to the 24 hour window they hold withdrawal action after a password reset is requested) -I gotta give them props for that.  I'm not the least bit discouraged and now have everything 2fa'd up and will continue steady monthly 10 UNO buys and more if I can afford it.  I don't check my accounts every day so buy and hold (off exchange) works for me.

Pure Unobtanium has high potency.  A little can go a long way.  Very good for altcoin newbies testing crypto waters with small purchase.

For ~ $30 or 0.05 BTC, you can buy 10+ Unobtanium.  Relatively low risk and high potential.

I'd hold some UNO too.

Lots of UNO bought in 0.003 - 0.006 range, so I don't expect a lot of selling here.  If you don't buy now, the next chance for bulkier UNO buys may be in the 0.009 - 0.012 range (people will probably sell some UNO for ~ double current price).  Any amount is a good amount to buy at these prices.


I had this happen too.  I received 25 of 100.  Then, like 18 of 75.
 

I'm buying more.

And a great opportunity for new investors to get their first Unobtanium.  I got most of my UNO in the 003s, 004s, and 005s.  Current UNO price is as cheap as it gets for such a resilient rarity.

I'll keep buying 10 UNO a month.  More if I can afford it.

Summer in the northern hemisphere - many folks on vacation and away from trading.

Silver coins minted in 10 gram and/or 25 gram amounts would fit well with Unobtanium's 250,000 total supply.  1 troy ounce ~ 31.1 grams.  I'm unaware of the various challenges (technically and financially) in silver coin minting - and then throw crypto into the mix!!?

With silver, much like crypto - what do you do when the price becomes too great to purchase 1 full unit?  If silver increases to $60/oz, smaller fractional amounts could prove more affordable for many buyers.

Long 4th of July weekend in U.S. wrapping up.  Steady UNO price ready for upward action with cumulative small buys or whale gulps on Mintpal and Cryptsy.
