Hi, I am getting an error: WATCHDOG: GPU 0 hangs in OpenCL call, exit after which the miner restarts. Please suggest an action. https://unsee.cc/romusize/![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F&t=663&c=6Na277Zglr-nDg) That typically means your GPU0 card isn't stable at the clocks you set. Try backing off 10 MHz for the GPU clock or 100 MHz for the memory clock and see if it helps. You could also increase the voltage, but it's not recommended for mining where there cards are under load constantly.

1 - I have a RX480 8GB and get ~300 H/s with 1250/2050. To get the max hashrate for your card, start at around 1200 MHz for the GPU clock and increase the value by 10-20 MHz until it won't start or is unstable, then back off 10 MHz. You can then do the same for the memory clock, adjusting by 150 MHz at a time to see if helps.
2 - I use Claymore's Zcash miner v12.4. Nothing else comes close for AMD in performance, but it does have an optional 2% dev fee built in. I use the miner to set the GPU, memory clock and intensity with the config for the miner. -i 6 works best for my RX480 8GB but for your card it may be less. You can also set the clocks and intensity individually per card in the config file. I use MSI Afterburner to set the fan speeds.
3 - I like dwarfpool's payout structure, but it's not as big as other pools so they find less blocks.
Dear Vann Great !!! Im get 270 mh/s fr each RX 570 with 1250x1750 Im use Claymore 12.4 too with Minergate Pool, but minergate have multiples shares rejected im had 3453 good shares and 69 shares Rejected in 56 minutes Dwarfpool is better than this ? Thanks Almir That's way too many rejected shares. I usually get less than 5 in a 24 hour period at Dwarfpool. They have several stratum ports and variable diff's for different rig sizes and multiple server locations so you can pick the one closest to you. whar command line you are using to mine in dwarfpool? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) thanks almir I use the .bat file that's include with the Claymore Zcash miner to start it. Open the start.bat file in notepad, remove what's already there and add: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 ZecMiner64.exe Then in the config.txt add the settings for the pool and your card/cards and use start.bat to start mining. For my two cards, the config is: -zpool zec-us1.dwarfpool.com:3336 -zwal <YOUR_ZCASH_WALLET> -zpsw x -i 6,3 -cclock 1255,1235 -mclock 2250,1600 #-tt -65,90 #-a 2 #-powlim 50 #-asm 0 #-allpools 1 But you need to find the settings that work best for you.

Syncing took several hours with 2 connections, but wasn't bad. If you want to get synced faster, I uploaded a bootstrap.dat with the blockchain though today 10-17. https://mega.nz/#!H9BRlIKB!pSNHNfG9Ef_IXOj1oeXf7C0zA20OdwSKdKLw4-2Po00

FFS, can someone upload a fast sync pack & peer info? I've been trying to get my coins off polo for weeks and although sometimes i get 1 connection, the chain doesn't seem to move. i'm stuck @ zero progress = 132 weeks behind ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) thanks, john I'm currently syncing with: getpeerinfo

So I crashed my windows platform/my dog knocked over my computer. I got ubuntu 14.04 instead. I like it, but it's complicated (I went to school for psychology). Any help on compiling this wallet for ubuntu? I have everything installed and qmake and make. As far as making it executable to load the actual wallet, i'm lost
1/. Install the dependencies (make sure to use Berkley db 4.8 as mentioned): http://en.wiki.dashninja.pl/wiki/Install_Linux_Wallet2/. Clone the repo: git clone https://github.com/wonko433/epay 3/. Build: ./configure \ --prefix=$HOME/INSTALL LOCATION \ (optional) --without-miniupnpc \ --with-gui \ --with-gui=qt5 \ --with-qrencode=yes \ --with-qtdbus=yes 4/. Strip the binaries (optional): strip src/{epay-cli,epayd,qt/epay-qt} 5/. Install binaries to prefix (optional): 6/. Make executable chmod +x $HOME/INSTALL LOCATION/{epay-cli,epayd,qt/epay-qt} 7/. Run qt: $HOME/INSTALL LOCATION/epay-qt 8/. Create a launch script and make executable (optional): #!/bin/bash gnome-terminal -e "$HOME/INSTALL LOCATION/epay-qt"

Guys please on our pool set please - Automatic Payout Threshold - 1 coin. Dont save coin on our pool
Your pools are weak. As long as there's an alternative nobody will use it. what the problem with my pool? There is nothing wrong with your pool. he's just a troll who wants attention. Nice to see everything is looking good so far ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Says the "developer" who did absolutely NOTHING but clone a coin and change a single image... How original is that? What would make ANYONE give a shit about this coin when they can have the real thing? Please, tell us what your plans are for this? Are you even a developer or did you just find a guide on how to clone? Enlighten us, we're all waiting... There is no such 'real thing' in Crypto. There are only the costs and benefits of each coin associated with 0's and 1's sitting on a hardrive. Darkcoin has it's own and so does this. Nobody appointed you the ambassador of the crypto world, so make your own choice and stop preaching to the choir. And you're part of the reason people keep creating these worthless coins making crypto look like a joke. Well, I just wanted to point out that anyone is free to develop their project the way they see fit, so don't blame the dev or me if you're butthurt he made a clone. That is a fact associated with open source projects. Similar to like there are thousands of bank cards that are functionally identical clones of one another. That does not make Visa more or less real or valuable than Mastercard. It's up to the merchants and individuals to evaluate the costs and benefits of each one to determine which is better for them.

My wallet (1.16) stuck on block 1300000
I had the exact same problem after upgrading from source 1.15 to 1.16 and not having synced the wallet for a few weeks. Like almost all other Mint wallet updates, I deleted the files in the data directory (except for wallet.dat) and am downloading the blockchain again, which should solve the issue. The Mint wallet is the only one I have to do that with, the OP should contain a link or torrent to a bootstrap.dat synced with the current wallet to save everyone from having to sync the blockchain manually over several days.

Did you strip the binaries after compiling?:
strip {Bctcoin-qt,src/bctcoind}
On Arch Linux 64-bit, my daemon is 7.3 MB and the Qt is 23.6.
Thanks Vann, that did the trick! If you want to reduce the size further, you can also use upx to compress the binary: upx --best ./Bctcoin-qt It reduced the executable from 23.6 MB to 10.1 so it should load faster.

It's mining allright and blockchain is up to date. So still alive, mining 3 coins steady. Great this Keccak Altcoin, that's why I compiled it yesterday [ Linux64 QT ]. A lot of warnings though. One weird thing during blockchain update, several maxcoin 0.9.1 nodes connected? So it went from 30K blocks to 80K blocks. But finally it went steady on with the right blockchain, it seems. Any idea how I can size the deamon version down, it is about 64MB? Seems a bit over the top, can I change the MakeFile so GCC compresses it a bit, well, a lot, like 1/8 size? Now wouldn't it be nice if shapeshifter added it? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Did you strip the binaries after compiling?: strip {Bctcoin-qt,src/bctcoind} On Arch Linux 64-bit, my daemon is 7.3 MB and the Qt is 23.6.

anyone can help me to setup the miner ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) i want to mine with a cpu.... please tell me what should I do ? I am using windows 8 -Download the CPU miner from the first post. -Create a text file with: minerd -o stratum+tcp://Pool:Port -O workername:workerpass -Substitute Pool,Port, workername and workerpass with your own pool information. -Save it in the same folder as the miner with a .bat extension. -Start the miner with the .bat file. It should launch a command prompt that will show you are connected to a pool and your hashrate. If it doesn't connect to the pool, your credentials are probably invalid. If it still won't run, make sure the miner is not blocked by your firewall. Also check the file properties to see if Windows is blocking the file. I know Windows 8.1 will keep some wallets and miners from running until you unblock them. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FYwxPOpF.jpg&t=663&c=89jM9cWhIVMuKw)

The new wallet will show it has peer connections, but stalls and does not sync new blocks. The wallet is also staking now, so the PoW blocks will be fewer than in the OP. Dev should relaunch for the coin to have a chance.

no its not.
just create a .bat file any type in:
sgminer.exe --no-submit-stale --kernel pluck -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coin-miners.info:3636 -u YOURUSER -p password --gpu-platform 1 -w 4 -I 13
if fail change -I from 13 to 12
Mine didn't run at --gpu-platform 1, it ran at --gpu-platform 0. And in the beginning it starts at 11.37kh/s, but stabilizes at 9.8 kh/s How did you OC the memory? Try --gpu-memclock 1500 Just tried that, but it still runs at 3000Mhz on afterburner. On some systems i.e. like my Dell, you have to enable overclocking in the Bios before you can adjust the settings.

can somebody please tell me what to do , i have a R270x and i cant get the AMD miner to run, also tried this: sgminer.exe --no-submit-stale --kernel pluck -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coin-miners.info:3636 -u YOURUSER -p password --gpu-platform 1 -w 4 -I 13 he keeps saying "libcurl.ddl" is missing? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) If you have a previous sgminer5 just copy the files you need from that directory and paste them into the new sgminer directory. Also you may wanna drop the no-submit-stale I get a shit load of stales with that but without it they are almost all accepted. That probably means your share expiry time is set too low. If you are mining on a pool try --expiry 20.
