2381  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: December 05, 2020, 05:59:24 AM
Since historical times the govt has been imposing taxes on the people. the govt cannot function without taxes. The people are motivated by the budget on the idea of adequate taxes. The damage done to the country by the govt alone can never be recovered. government revenue has decreased, expenditure has increased for this reason, the govt is taking the foremost loans from the banking industry. the govt will spend money on loans by increasing the quantity of interest and VAT.

This is what I was going to say. The government creates wealth for themselves through the loan and increase VAT for the national populace to pay for deregulation and the OP is hellbent on how taxes should be eliminated from the society? It is actually very impossible. Without the taxes the government can't function by maintaining the expensive lifestyles of a particular place that generates revenue either by tourism or by direct taxations. We'd still be thrilled when cryptocurrencies someday eliminates taxes.
2382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption: Universities now Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition Payment? on: December 05, 2020, 05:48:30 AM
There's a typo in my previous messages. But you can integrate SEC when it come to an investment cause they have the right to melt into every affairs that have to do with investors protection, fairness in the market etc. Mind you, the SEC wont have be involved in cryptocurrency if there is no overlapping of scam activities by cryptocurrency scammers in the uear 2017 and the last time i checked the SEC work independently though they federal agency but they never for once operate over their roles.
They seems not to be against crypto and the statement made by US SEC CEO are message that could help the surge in price of the market.
With that been said, it not every government or policy that is against crypto.
The clarification now makes it more understandable, indeed not every government is directly against Crypto. Some are just regulating crime perpetrators by bringing rules of KYC, founding their native exchanges for traceble transactions.
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Facebook launches LIBRA then nobody will invest in it on: December 04, 2020, 03:12:33 PM
investing in stable coins is less profitable. Because we just can't make a big profit. This stable coin is more suitable for exchange so that it is easier to convert into other coins or into USD. So if Facebook issues stable coins, then I think there will be fewer investors.

Stable coins are not meant to be invested in, they are just there for controlling your asset to a pegged and fixed amount in physical USD value of it on the exchange when you might have converted all your volatile coins to them. So, investment in stable coins can be overruled for profit.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing in crypto a good idea? on: December 04, 2020, 07:41:50 AM
investing in cryptocurrencies is a good thing for this year, compared to investing in stocks, investing in cryptocurrencies is very profitable, Bitcoin can go up 2x this year., from the price of $ 4000 to $ 19700 is a very extraordinary thing.
2020 proved beyond reasonable doubt that, cryptocurrencies investment isn't a bad economical decision to make. Most of the altcoins skyrocketed to certain level which sprung huge profits for their investors. Bitcoin also performed a lot of magic, retraced and almost behaving like a stable coin.
2385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: December 04, 2020, 07:38:10 AM
There are a lot of people in my community who don't know what Bitcoin is and what it serves, they sometimes take it as an online scam project which is predicted by them to crash someday like MLM businesses online. I have tried by all means to educate the few I can about Bitcoin and what it is truly used for and how it works to save our economy from the fraudulent banking institutions. Sometimes people are actually educated and clueless, you can't utterly blame them.
2386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption: Universities now Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition Payment? on: December 04, 2020, 07:32:35 AM
What more do we need? It is left for governments of several countries to lower their pride and decentralize their economies; by leveraging on the growing of the digital freedom. Bitcoin isn't just a coin, it is an economy to reckon on.
First of all, i want to enlighten you guys that alot of Universities in the US and UK have been accepting Bitcoin for tuition payment before now and even before payment integration of cryptocurrency but i guess most people are not aware of it.
Josefjix, i have said before that the government are the only setting hindering crypto adoption but with the SEC CEO statement i expect some government to lower their pride
How should the integration of SEC and CEO  be done to overlap the contraindications of the government policies when they are hellbent on making Crypto extinct when it hasn't fully reached its potential users? I understand there are universities accepting Bitcoin as tuition for a very long time now. It is a reputable development and worth celebrating anytime the news of such things comes up.
2387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another big step to adoption bitcoin from VISA! on: December 03, 2020, 11:58:24 AM
Another big company trying to sell ads with the use of Bitcoin as the center of circumference. They are rushing to get Bitcoin before it gets to $100k or they might have stocked it up when they were busy criticising this amazing technology. The adoption is breaking through and causing them restless nights. This is just amazing if they are to reward users through Decentralization when they spend in centralised body. But the card is expensive.
2388  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian Bitcointalk Community Hangout. {Current topic: #EndSARs} on: December 02, 2020, 09:30:22 PM

2389  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian Bitcointalk Community Hangout. {Current topic: #EndSARs} on: December 02, 2020, 03:39:58 PM
Every week na one wahala or the other for Naija with these Boko guys. Na the same guys wey Buhari release after the army overpower and catch them for bush, even una president dash them N20k on top as rehabilitation fee for those terrorists. Buhari leave Boko Haram wey im go tag terrorists, begin tag IPOB and #endsars protesters. This morning my belle just dey bitter as I see pictures of rice farmers wey those idiots kill and come chop off their heads even with their hands tied. I nor just wan share that gory pictures here. This is bad mehn! Buhari and his clueless APC should just go and leave us hand jor.
Anytime I wake up and I notice say my parents, siblings and everyone related to me is safe for that day I know say we done dey well already. Naija na place wey person dey sleep with one eye open and the other closed. Even for your place of work you no dey safe, nothing is working under this man's rulership yet he hasn't deemed it fit to resign honourably. Power corrupts truly. Look at how them been dey arrest people anyhow for peaceful protest. Dubai police been name those wey dey sponsor BH yet nothing has been done. The only solution for Nigerian na to find money japa o. Insecurity and hunger for this country too much.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 02, 2020, 06:18:22 AM
Atletico might likely not expose their defence tonight to  repeat what happened in the last encounter with Bayern, Bayern on the other hand have qualified already. They will will likely not be traveling with key players to stage a war with a shattered Atletico side. A draw between them isn't a bad market to pick IMO. Real is playing without Harzad and Ramos and they couldn't defeat Shakhter at home.

I see the Bayern and Atletico Game being a slow and boring Game tbh. I see both teams relying on counter attacks, especially since Bayern has qualified and is playing with a B squad. Atleticos Defense has been stellar and should also be pretty stable, although I see Bayern sneaking one in.
I predict a 1:1.

Gotta quote myself here...
Won both of my bets and called the correct score. Was a nice day betting for me today.
Havent had a look at the games today to find one that I like.

It was a crazy day yesterday though...
Porto/Manchester and Real losing again... wow.

Both of my predictions were on point as well. Congratulations on your winning. Betting is pure luck and a little analysis. It could have gone ether ways.

Deals Madrid once again confirms the usefulness of their team. Zidane could be sacked in coming fixtures. The team has lost it all.
2392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption: Universities now Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition Payment? on: December 01, 2020, 03:29:18 PM
The whole adoption we have been seeking is gradually gaining the mainstream attention, educational institutions, financial institutions. What more do we need? It is left for governments of several countries to lower their pride and decentralize their economies; by leveraging on the growing of the digital freedom. Bitcoin isn't just a coin, it is an economy to reckon on.
2393  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: December 01, 2020, 02:06:59 PM
Yes it did, from the way lockdown was conducted and how it was unsafe using the physical cash and how to prevent the body system from contracting the virus, enough measures were provided by the use of e-commerce solutions during the era of the pandemic. It is now very easy to conduct millions of dollar transactions in seconds and the Covid-19 exposed the uselessness of embracing technology.

2395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal is sending the wrong message on: November 30, 2020, 11:00:04 AM
PayPal is a corrupt scheme, no different from traditional banks they have disrupted the whole idea and vision of Bitcoin with this philosophy of not been able to withdraw your Bitcoin or receive Bitcoin on your PayPal account. It is not even Bitcoin that's been offered it is a pseudo coin with a graphical representation of Bitcoin in a trending algebra. I would never stoop low to using PayPal for my Bitcoin activities when most CEXs can offer more use case.
2396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Police Seize 1% of Bitcoin’s Total Supply on: November 30, 2020, 06:03:07 AM
People should stop to give too much attention to all this China FUD. To stupid reason for dump as for me
No matter how much we'd want to neglect such conflicts, they are required in deciding whether Crypto is gaining widespread or not. They are much needed as well as adoption of Bitcoin by PayPal and other well known institutions IMO the FUDs can't be neglected at all cost though the effect of negativity by it has to be mitigated.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 29, 2020, 05:21:47 PM
it remains a miracle how United managed to win this. in the time of Rooney they did this sometimes, but that was also a different team. It should not be possible for them to come back 2-0. Nice that they have still won.
They did it against a competitive Manchester city at Etihad few seasons back, it is not a surprise again how results are turned around by Manchester United. Kudos to Cavani.
2398  Economy / Exchanges / Re: very new! will pay for an answer!! need help with a transaction from a coinbase! on: November 29, 2020, 04:58:46 PM
It would be best providing the transaction hash for us to help you check, where you might have gone wrong and find a possible solution to your problem. That's by the way you can contact the support of Coinbase to help you check that would still be better. Coinbase seems to be a sucker of late as there are several concerns raised about the exchange. They had better fixed themselves up.

this is the hash  7e63e1dfb39f269d014cbd6f6ffbfcd2133c98d1da18012c1a01b61dd6f976b4

The transaction is confirmed and approved, I think it'd be an internal synchronization error from coinbase wait a few more house to know what next steps to put in measure.

2400  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is poor men Lower class wall street on: November 29, 2020, 05:50:32 AM
Lol, what do you mean here exactly? Are you trying to imply that Bitcoin and its holders are generally poor and they love to show off their portfolios. Then you are wrong dear, crypto turned many into billionaires, and those are real billionaires, with real cash, not any fake thing. Smiley

the money dont show your class yes you can get money but it does not give you the aristrocarcy:)

Grin Grin
There is no industry with quiet and secretive billionaires as Crypto industry. Who would go about flaunting Thier wealth? You are indirectly inviting hackers and fraudsters. Who would want to lose his/her live savings?
