2381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in trouble on: February 18, 2016, 03:01:19 PM
The threat is real. I am victim of this bullshit CryptoWall malware myself.
My mother's laptop was infected despite being protected by antivirus and my lifetime archives of photos were lost in the process.
I am still storing encoded version of the files hoping it will be possible to brute force the algorithm someday.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any new gambling site idea ? on: February 18, 2016, 02:33:17 PM
E-sports
that's a scene which does not get enough attention from bitcoin community so far. gambling on tournaments like Dota2 or CS:GO which is always there is a tournament going on and gamers are betting with their items on these matches which can change to bitcoin.

p.s. promotional giveaways are always good option no matter what the site is Wink

Esport is almost the same as sport betting. So there is nothing can be change in esport gaming and most of sportbetting have this kind of feature so there is no need to open it again esport gambling site and what I think is there is only few people interested in esport betting compare to sport so there is no way they could earn more buying opening e sport site
Almost the same doesn't mean it is the same. Esports is a revolution and it is a fast moving one.
You don't want to like Nokia to miss opportunity of creating new brands and services when esport is still fresh.
For now normal sport betting is still the king of sportsbooks, but I am sure that with new generations, kids born in the internet era esport will rule in near future.

2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 18, 2016, 02:24:03 PM
Its of course possible to have profit on a long term, but most likely the people will not make profit at all by it.
At gambling you always need luck and the most people do not have this luck so you will lose money.
You are contradicting your own words. It is as you said - gambling=some random occurrences, you don't have influence over, therefore outcome can't be predicted or controlled.
You can be lucky for a short period of time and profit, you can probably be almost even for a longer periods. But in the end you only can diminish the losses while gambling everyday.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: February 18, 2016, 02:17:09 PM
Once you started taking loans and debts off of several people and financial institutions and/or banks, you know you already have a gambling problem. You need to consult a psychiatrist because if you will only depend on the support of your family members, you won't get out of that trouble.
Gambling problems actually are the most common when you have no support of your family/you have no family. Excessive gambling is a way to fill out a void in your life.
How common is to see totally blinded gambler with good wife and kids? I don't know any, in contrary I see some pretty dysfunctional individuals who usually are gambling addicts.

2386  Economy / Gambling / Re: NicerDice.com - new dice site on: February 17, 2016, 11:20:14 AM
i see the domain whois, you open this site the 9th february, today open a thread to the forum, but if see the statistic of site i read

TOTAL WAGERED   35.52772782
TOTAL PROFIT   -8.92395083

who have play 35 bitcoin in unknow dice site?
Definitely tweaked data imo. Unless Op played himself and was betting live BTC there to test the system or something,
then is little chance that someone gambled that amount on fresh new Dice site. Explanation from Op?
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 17, 2016, 10:49:23 AM
Let's be clear here, gambling can be fine and harmless entertainment. The problem starts with misuse of it.
And then excessive gambling is great pain in the ass to the point it can easily destroy your whole life.
Until you will solve your other life problems which led you to gambling there is little hope that you will quit, that is unless you will go totally bankrupt first.

tl;dr Fix your other life problem first - then get rid of gambling addiction!
2388  Economy / Gambling / Re: Official VegasCasino.io thread - Viva Las Vegas Baby! on: February 16, 2016, 12:01:24 PM
I have made an account and attempted a few bets to no avail. Some of the lines for games/matches seemed to be behind schedule saying something like "Starts in 1h" when the match has already started. Also there were not many lines for e-sports matches that I was interested in. I like the style of the site and would like to actually use it for betting matches. I have noticed that withdraws were really quick so to me that is a plus. There is a lot of matches I will be betting today so I will give it another try before giving up on it.

Thank you for feedback, always appreciate! We are working on a new version of vegascasino now - should go live in March. Sportsbook feed will be changed as well in next couple of months, so there will be more events, including e-sports. Trying to match exact needs of our players.
After reading some comments it is rather clear that it is better to wait for this new and upgraded version and don't touch current build.
What I like is that VegasCasino is admitting that they messed up and are fixing/upgrading system. I like that approach - and I will love esport addition!
But I hope you will include more games than standard LOL, DOTA2, CSGO and SC2.
2389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: February 16, 2016, 11:37:40 AM
when I lost all of my money and suddently my daughter asked me some school's stuff!
At the end I have to owe money from my good friend!
This is the best example of irresponsible gambling. While gambling you should always look what will happen in the worst case scenario - you want to have pessimistic approach.
Living by this rule will save you a lot of problems later.

I usually don't feel down if I lose. I know it is to be expected - you can't win all the time. But I am little sad when I am having unexpected losing streak.

Buttons at the bottom of the site: Faucet, FAQ and Help are not working. They are leading to javascript:void(0) parameter which is clearly a dead end.

The Links on those tabs are not functional until you have logged in.
OK, that is fine, I guess. But we need some sort of information that you need to be logged in for these links to be working.
Leaving something like this hanging looks unprofessional and if some guest, like me, visit page to check out overall design and functionality - he may be disappointed.
2391  Economy / Economics / Re: Why doesn't everyone match the US debt level? on: February 15, 2016, 12:18:02 PM
It seems that debt as long as partnered with productivity is no problem. From the looks of it, the US won't fall as an economy yet.
US economy will be growing at a 2.7% rate from 2014-18, it is sufficient to keep crisis caused by bloated debt at bay.
2392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Deadpool on: February 15, 2016, 11:42:01 AM
It is likely that TJ Miller is a fan of bitcoin considering the amount of Bitcoin references in Silicon Valley. But at this point it is nothing more than subliminal message.
Normal people not associated with bitcoin are not gonna spot that sign probably. Interesting Easter Egg for sure tho.
2393  Economy / Gambling / Re: ☆★Primedice Betting - How to gamble like a b0ss★☆ on: February 15, 2016, 10:06:10 AM
Is there a video contest or something? Or this are just ref videos flooded lately?
There is no video contest that I am aware of. It is just apparently Sweeet is feeling extremely lucky and confident with his ability to win on Prime Dice.
So far his videos are entertaining. But I wonder if he post only his best moments and skip not-so-lucky parts? Wink
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 15, 2016, 09:06:23 AM
In my opinion gambling is very wrong to do, I know people get profit of it but not for a long time. These people have pure luck and mostly spend their profit in gambling again so they will be in the same pattern as before and lose more at the end.
So following your logic, stock market, currency trading or investing is the same as gambling. Because the symptoms are the same: people may or may not profit from these activities.
You need to be extremely lucky to be successful in trading area and people who lose money will most likely invest again. Thoughts?
2395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with $125 USD? on: February 14, 2016, 05:11:42 PM
Oh just spend it on women. You'll feel better.
It is better to gamble it away. At least you have a chance of winning something from it. Use half of the money as your bankroll.
Use half of it - with $70 you could easy double that if you play correctly and cautiously.
2396  Economy / Gambling / Re: Solve riddles | Get BTC | RiddleBTC.com on: February 14, 2016, 03:56:01 PM
I think you should utilize previously used riddles and create a free demo for potential customers from them. I would like to try it, but I have no idea what your riddles are.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Method for Easy BTC on: February 14, 2016, 01:33:01 PM

The martingale method is not fool proof. How many gamblers have been using it but still end up at a loss.
if you using it just for short term. its really work dude. dont greedy to use it. you must have enough balance
That is why Op is starting with 1 satoshi. If you are using martingale method you either have to had huge bankroll or bet really low initially.
With 65% increase on lose you will be multiplying 1 Satoshi very fast. So be careful of long gambing sessions.
2398  Economy / Gambling / Re: Playcoin.eu | Simply BLACKJACK ! | < 1% House Edge | PROMOTION NOW ! | Faucet | on: February 14, 2016, 12:50:56 PM
Also, as a proof of my good faith and that I'm honest, I modify and put NOW Blackjack pays 3:2.
And it will stay like this forever.

Now I think the struggle is ended.

Good luck and have fun everybody Smiley

At least you have fixed the blackjack payout to correspond with your claims of a under 1% house edge. Lets be honest you didn't do this out of "good faith" you realized I was right and not of "opinion" that your claim of under 1% house edge was bullshit. To save face quickly you reverted back to 3:2 payout. How long were you going to run the site at 6:5 blackjack if someone didn't speak up. Anyways, I will not be playing at your site. It still has many issues which have been pointed out already.

-Your minimum withdrawl is set way to high considering you take micro deposits.
-I cannot see anywhere what the minimum and maximum bet is. This should be easily visible for the player.
-You only list partial rules under your news section. No mention on how many splits a player can make. If a player can double after split. Can a player double on any two cards.
-Withdrawls are not instant.

Also can you provide proof of balance that you can cover all bets?

This place just has to many issues for me to recommend it or play for that matter. I'll stick to my usual sites that seem much more legit and offer instant withdrawls and no minimum.
I was looking for a new place to Play Black Jack and I found this thread. I thought that is great that dedicated Black Jack sites are being created, but after reading some comments I will wait a bit and see.
Maybe some issues mentioned previously will be resolved. BTW isn't house edge on Black Jack usually lower than 0.3% (Liberal Vegas rules)?
2399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will Satoshi Nakamoto do with his Bitcoins? on: February 13, 2016, 11:12:48 AM
Let us assume Satoshi Nakamoto really owns 1148800 BTC.

What is he most likely going to do with them?

What could he do with it that would best help Bitcoin to succeed?

With this amount of money one could help significantly in solving big social issues of mankind, such as hunger or several tropical diseases.
No, no amount of money will cure hunger problem in any place, not for long at least. Giving people the money is not the right way of solving problems.
You want to give them fishing rod, not the fish. And why the hell Satoshi should be giving his money to anyone in the first place?
2400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Daily fantasy sports with bitcoin? on: February 13, 2016, 10:43:12 AM
Despite fantasy sports leagues are being more and more popular it seems that bitcoin casino and sportsbooks developers are not familiar with this phenomenon.
And it is not like fantasy sports is more popular than betting on live sports events anyway. I guess creating something like this would be a little too risky.
