What are my eyes seeing?Huh You are crazy, how you put 600 usd in that game in favour or Manchester, absolutly bold.

Well.. I had a $2k bet on United BTTS as well but that was not as fun to show, lol.

I guess there were only you and rdbase who trusted Manchester United this much. Even he might not have trusted that much. Congratulations to you really. If you have another betslip you bet on Manchester United could you share it too? And this is my betslip thanks to Steve. Smiley
There was one other who had them to win, but had them 4-1 so I did infact have more trust in them then the rest.
But I can see Liverpool bouncing back because Klopp has all week to have a go at all of them in the locker room now. And with all the talk about Firmino not extending his contract and becoming free agent by the end of this season doesn't help morale much after this woeful loss.
I am sticking with the Saints this weekend with another solid win by the Sportsbet.io branded side!

Finally the break is over and we can get back to business in the F! season and in a challenging track in Belgium.
.....
Yeah, the circuit in Belgium is considered by many F1 connoisseurs and even racers to be the most interesting of all the circuits in F1 competition.
By the way, this route has existed for over 100 years.  Smiley
And on it, for example, the legendary Michael Schumacher won - 6 times. And Hamilton drove it the fastest in the history of the track a couple of years ago.
So expect an interesting spectacle. It will probably be one of the best races of the season.
-snip-
Yeah, happy to see the summer break is over.

Red fans are gonna take this on the first race after the break. Did you guys see other red fans of Manchester United win Againts Liverpool and Ducati take a podium. Could be Ferarri taking the podium on Spa ~XD.

I'm hoping Tifosi are gonna to celebrate for the win after this break ~XD.

Lol.  Not with their team's bad decisionsin the heat of the race they won't.  It's just blunder after blunder with those guys.  And don't fade the books when it comes to F1.  They have a strong sense of what's going on.  Trust me...  I know.  Cheesy

So if the books say Verstappen is 1.90 to get pole at quali this weekend and Leclerc at 2.75, just stick with Verstappen.  But I wouldn't touch that line.  No value.  Leclerc has some value but at 2.75, def not enough meat in the bone to make it worth it...  But I'd say watch out for the Mercedes.  I think they're finally getting it together.

I like what delfastTions described this track as one for the connoisseurs of F1.
Enjoy it just like a fine wine... Inhale it all in and sit back and relax.

But I agree with you Tokeweed, the lines don't lie and the oddsmakers know exactly what is going on with the races.
Their analysis of each and every track and how all drivers have performed on it year in and year out for each and every team they had been on.
This is why I haven't put in my selections for the predictions contest nor the pool yet:
Still analyzing what could possibly happen during qualifying and who can stand to get pole position which will decide on who the winner is of the race.
It does sound quite simple but I will sit on it for a few more days until the first practice begins before putting in my picks for both. Grin

Have you checked out Sportsbet.io's brand new Formula 1 prediction contest? I assume the number of events in this field also increases as the interest in motorsports rises on the forum. First the pool and later prediction. Despite the odds, I think that Leclerc will win at the weekend as long as he doesn't have any accident.

Sportsbet.io 🏎️🏁 Belgian Grand Prix 🏁🏎️ Prediction Contest (August 26)
Leclerc is going for @4.20x to win the race just by checking the odds.
But one can not go by the odds alone as you well know with the reds match yesterday.
But you are very confident in Ferrari red taking all races over weekend with putting him to win everythin in your predictions for the contest.
Hope your right but I am thinking of another red but the Krating Daeng to take Belgium.

This is one of the fresh rumours about Cristiano Ronaldo. However I don't think that Dortmund are in search of a striker now. Because after Adeyemi's injury they have signed Modeste quickly. I assume they wouldn't sign another striker while there are quite many. Of course they don't have a striker like Haaland in their hands anymore but anyway. Dortmund have no problem with playing like this as well.

By the way, when I check the rumours section on Ronaldo's profile on Transfermarkt I see that there is only Sporting there.

With the reduced standard of Man United Ronaldo feels he is now bigger than the club
New signings incoming they will be making some deals soon.
Expect some three new player's entirely Manchester United need to do better.
Ronaldo goes no where they are all liars
They did put him in late into the match yesterday by CR7 standards with 15-20 minutes left to go so to secure Manchester United the win.
Didn't Dortmund go on to lose their match over the weekend with being up 2-0 at the 89' minute and end up losing 2-3.
I wouldn't want to go to a club that does this and rather stay where I am.

If you grabbed them at over 4.90x then congratulations on a solid win for you.
But going for the over 2.5 goals was a blessing since LFC were flat all match. The Salah header was icing on the cake if you did managed to take Manchester United to win w/ over 2.5 goals on the same bet. It must of been over 8.00x.

Show your betslips if you did take our advice on this matchup from the very start.
2387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: August 22, 2022, 10:15:50 AM
I think he's in for crypto for a long term because he knows what crypto can offer at the long run, likewise he's in for the gains also, when he bought bitcoin we all know because he informed the whole world via his twitter account, when he sold at profit also we get to know a couple of months after from him indirectly and from a third party. I believe that a lot of people have get to know more about Tesla after promoting crypto few months ago. He's in for everything, the gain, the attention, to promote his Tesla and long term investment in crypto most especially dogecoin
This is exactly what I meant "In it for the dubs!". He is in it for the gains of course.
Whether that be for profit or just to put another feather in his cap for the cryptos.
He is a showman. If you haven't seen that movie then that is exactly what he is.
Purely in it for the exposure as he gets a rush being in the spotlight.
Without it he would cease to be relevant in the media.
Just another CEO behind a desk pulling the strings of his multimillion dollar companies.
2388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: August 22, 2022, 12:33:23 AM
the running joke on twitter is:

stupid media (fox news and other crap news media) do not do any actual real reporting on real news events. instead they just glamourise whatever is trending/on twitter by using twitter as their news story sources.. without even bothering to validate if the tweets are real or jokes

many celebs are starting to do this. say silly things to see which silly news media outlet reports on the tweet.

some are also calling out all the crap news media where different stations read out the same story word for word. without any independent editorial checks
Yeah and some strong political motivations along with their morning cup of joe.

Imagine what these crap news media stations would do if Musk actually did own twitter.
He would be another Rupert Murdoch who owns Time warner, disney, etc etc.
Controlling the narrative of countless households across America.

-snip-
Yes he could, however, that might be within the legal jurisdiction of the SEC to charge him for selling and issuing illegal securities. Dogecoin is a cryptocoin issued through the utilization of proof of work. This is very much similar to bitcoin where the SEC cannot charge the issuers of the coin of the protocol.

What would be his purpose for shilling dogecoin if it was not to make money out of it? I reckon everyone who is presently here in the cryptospace is here to make money out of it.
Thought most just say "They are in it for the dubs.." urg.. I mean The Technology.

But all kidding aside,
Isn't this exactly what the feds are now going after all exchanges for?
They are suing Coinbase with insider trading with having these tokens listed on their exchange and having people who worked there trade them even before they were listed.

2389  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: August 22, 2022, 12:22:59 AM
Honestly I lost money on City and Chelsea games but won money on Arsenal game and I am guessing Liverpool will win tomorrow too so I think it will be a break even give or take week for me. I am not sure though, Liverpool hasn't won a game yet and maybe tomorrow they may fail to win but looking at United who is at the bottom of the table, it doesn't really feel like Liverpool would lose, if United ever wants to get back on winning games, they will have to wait another week because this week is not ideal to have a win at all, it should be a problem for them and will do something about it next week when they face Southampton, far easier opponent even though we sponsor them.
Same here with my predictions in the EPL this weekend. Won only on Arsenal for my bets but lost on the rest.
Seems that Sportsbet.io sponsored teams did well with having both the Gunners and Saints winning both their matches.
Was just about to put in my picks for the following week but will have to wait to see what Manchester United have in store for their match tomorrow.
I have a strange feeling they won't let the ship keep sinking without trying to bucket out a few gallons of water.
The transfer window is slowly closing for teams to get in their last signings.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: August 22, 2022, 12:17:56 AM
Another day and another shocking result(s) in the EPL... What else is new. Cheesy

Grabbed this post from the pool prediction thread and will respond to it here since I was going to discuss about tomorrows last match of the week and with Trofo's question as well:
I had a very unlucky day in the pool.  Sad

None of my picks won today. Chelsea and West Ham couldn't even get one point. And Manchester City had big issues about defeating Newcastle. Chelsea's losing 3-0 was inexplicable to me. Their scoring problem was very obvious and I believe this shows that they immediately need a proper striker. Manchester City were also bad at defending today. It wasn't the Manchester City we were accustomed to watch.

Biggest teams of the league continue to get surprising results for now.
This is exactly why I said I can see Manchester United winning tomorrow's match against liverpool.
Nevermind the odds are stacked against them and the bookmakers reflect this in the 5.00x they gave them before the weekend matches started.
Liverpool is without their top scorer in Nunez due to taking that red in the last match and they will have a rather big hole to fill. But they do get two injured players back in this match. So there is that.

Manchester United have everything to play for and are in need of something so to get out of the gutter and not be with West Ham any longer.
This is an embarrassing situation to be in for the start of the season. And atleast Liverpool has a few draws so far.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: August 21, 2022, 11:16:03 PM
No F1 fan really enjoy the summer break of F1 but we all know that after it ends , we get the legendary tracks of Spa , Monza , Singapore and Brasil so for me this is enough as reason to wait for the summer break to end. Also, I've played some F1 games with custom lobbies from time to time so maybe if we have a small community here who owns the game , maybe we can race each other ? That would be fun.
So how would you suggest this be done?
I suppose you would need a new gaming system or a PC that can handle F1 2022.
Think I heard the new iteration will be releasing soon so maybe wait on that to happen first perhaps then put out feelers.

Just my suggestion on how to get it going.
It would be kind of fun while waiting for the next race to start and for the second half to begin again.

That was the most surprised I had ever been seeing a championship match in all my life watching the UFC!
Here is a clip of all the streamers who were watching Usman vs Edwards II live last night:
Leon Edwards Knocks out Usman LIVE REACTIONS - Compilation of Leon Edwards vs Kumaru Usman KO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4irCJxbh8g

To be honest, I was half asleep near the third round and only got bolted back up when I heard him knock him out.
This was in the dying minutes of the fifth round.
It was unreal.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 21, 2022, 06:29:08 PM
Just can't seem to guess which matches would end up being draws.
If you would of told me Manchester City would be one of them, I would be laughing at you.
That was just City being lazy and leaving it til the second half to try and score a couple back.
Dismal performance for the first three weeks of the pool. Not even half the amount of points as the leader has.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 21, 2022, 02:59:08 PM
Leeds United matches are looking fantastic this season. Rodrigo in an unusual form. Watching new players is a pleasure - most of all I am impressed by Aaronson, but also by Adams and Kristensen. Killer pace and Jesse Marsch's mark of quality. And Chelsea definitely need the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang transfer.
Chelsea are looking in very poor form. And Tuchel thought he was mad last weekend with that game breaking goal at the end against Hot spurs, look at him this time.
He looks senseless.
There are no words to explain what he is going through right now. Having his team not score one goal this game and then to top it all off picking up a red card near the 80th minute did not help his cause.

I thought I got the score wrong where Chelsea lost 2-0 by Leeds, but I confirm again that I didn't see the wrong score. In fact, now the score is 3-0 and not only that, after yesterday Koulibaly had a good goal but now Koulibaly got a red card. Considering that Leeds are a mediocre team but who can beat Chelsea by a big score and also win with the Clean Sheets, then of course that is a very remarkable achievement. Because the situation at Chelsea is still conducive which is not destroyed like Manchester United, but at this moment Chlesea really becomes a very broken team, I just didn't think Leeds could make a surprise like this.
I started watching when I got home and could not believe my eyes when I turned it on either.
For some reason I thought it was 3-0 for Chelsea.
Leeds are not a team to go down by this score, no matter what the excuse.

Tuchel has alot of explaining to do and if they are in talks to get Aubameyang they better make a sweeter deal after this performance. There is absolutely no excuse for this appalling effort by the blues.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: August 21, 2022, 11:37:45 AM
I have a feeling that Liverpool will still struggle to get their first win of the season.
And for the others, the trend of draws will continue into this game week is my prediction.
Why do you think so? United is at the lowest point and looks like almost comical when defending. Liverpool did not have good results in first two games but they are still miles ahead of this United. Liverpool destroyed United last season and this season the difference looks even bigger. Odds of 1.62 against this United side look amazing to me and I will be playing on Liverpool to win for sure.

A draw against Fulham and a draw against Crystal Palace look like great achievements compared to United's results but I tend to agree with rdbase - Liverpool is overrated at this particular moment. It will be an away game, Liverpool will have a sub-optimal line-up plus United are in the position of a cornered beast. This can lead to the most unexpected result.
I never would of dreamed Crystal Palace would of won their match yesterday but there you have it.
And who would of thought Arsenal would be top of the table going into week 3.
All the stars seem to be aligning for them this season and going very well with the signing of their new striker at the beginning of the season in Gabriel Jesus.

I have a feeling that Liverpool will still struggle to get their first win of the season.
And for the others, the trend of draws will continue into this game week is my prediction.

Well call it a feeling with the talk of Casimero later in the week there was hope. But with news of them not getting him registered in time or what not, he will not be in the squad when they face off with LFC on Monday.

Anyways, we have some matches in the EPL to look forward for today.
Sportsbet Clubhouse TV is now available straight from the site so come and watch along with the gents on a Sunday morning.
I see Chelsea taking this one from Leeds quite easily and a goal less draw for Brighton.

Hey! RDbase do you have and article for that? can you share with us?

I think Mercedes if they think they can fight for the tittle need to make a lot of 1-2 in the reamaining races, and that its not easy, also needs to RB not score so much points.

One thing the whole people has to say its the superiority of Mercedes as a brand and in his head of racing Toto Wolff its ashtonishing, 8 titles of constructor in f1, and two titles in Formula E and now they leave the category. Or again the people came to say the big lie of "Mercedes its helping bla bla bla". I think the whole field needs to leave the ego and think more.
No I don't. Just went with what delfastTions said earlier about the new ground effects and the rear wing modifications is all.
Another week until we can watch another race.
It has been a long break for the summer.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 21, 2022, 11:26:10 AM

Coric playing very well. For the odds, I feel its worth taking a shot at him. Medvedev vs Tsitsipas, for the odds and it being a 3 setter. I don't see great value betting on Medvedev as they are almost equally talented. Medvedev is just a bit more consistent and mental fitness.
The odds will have variation based on the first set winning. For now the match is gonna start in another 30 minutes and it is good to go on live betting after the first set. On the head to head stats, Medvedev have won 7 times and Tsitsipas have won 2 times. Last time both have met at this year's Australian Open in which Medvedev have marked his win by the fourth set.
As suspected, both my picks worked out. I was just objectively picking the one that seemed value. Both "upsets" by the sportsbook makers but they surprisingly didn't consider recent form to be of much value, I suppose.

VERY WELL DONE!!

while your 2 bets came through, the favourites lost. Amazing.
Was watching the match for the first set and then for the second and thought Daniil had it wrapped up nearly giving Tsitsipas a bagel going up 5-0 at one point.
But then didn't watch the third as I thought he had it under control.
As you had said the favorites lost and Coric is on to the finals to meet up with Tsitsipas.
Unbelievable set of events to end up with these two in the final at Cinnci.
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 21, 2022, 12:04:03 AM
-snip

He's already 25 years old and has only won 2 titles - I have to admit I expected way more from him when he started playing.

yeah, he was announced as young star, and expected more from him, but to be honest, there was little space to win something lately, so was not that surprised to see him win just two titles

nevertheless, I do not expect him to win over Norrie, and would take Norrie @1.62, seems as value bet, IMO
much better match can be expected in other SF, and Medvedev should.win over Tsitsi, seems that US soil is good for Medvedev, he is playing his best tennis around US Open each year

Norrie is out to 1.77 on Rollbit, It does seem like a value bet to I have taken that. Its nice
to see Norrie coming this far so far, he has worked hard over the last year or so but if
he wins today I cannot see him beating possibly Medvedev.

And I have taken Medvedev to beat Tsitsipas too at 1.34. It looks like Medvedev is "peaking"
or at least is upping his performance just in time for the U.S open.
This does make for an unforeseen match up in this tournament's finals with Medvedev facing off against the winner of Norrie/Coric match happening right now.

Garica also will be in the finals tomorrow and has progressed in the last few months very nicely.
Seen her beat all of her opponents to win the Poland open last month.
2399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: August 20, 2022, 11:59:50 PM
That's just a marketing play I suppose. It gives people the thought "wow they're the future" and gives them an illusion that Elon is interested in the same things they are interested in. Musk is just a good businessman. I don't think that he has a lot of time to study the crypto market and get involved in it.

He might not have the time but Elon has the space to accommodate Blockchain enthusiasts, I believe the doge coin he was Shilling some months ago may have not be his idea, someone may have suggested that for him, he doesn't have time for diggings or DYOR in details. Some of his comments on doge coin scales more than bitcoin proves that he doesn't no shit about bitcoin, he is just a man who employee good guys with big IQ and talent to run his business, that's exactly how he successfully run Tesla and the launch of spaceX, he doesn't know how that shit work, people work for him.

You should begin to be skeptical on what Elon was really doing when he was shilling dogecoin. He knew what he was doing. Also, he has divorced from 3 wives who might have gotten a large share of his assets. He will be needing some extra money hehehehe and do not underestimate human greed.

Also, Elon has a large following in social media and he loves to troll. How can he profit from this? Shill a coin traded in an unregulated market where the SEC cannot give him legal problems. Elon is a cold blooded profiteer.

He could just easily create his own coin or token and just shill it to his massive amount of followers on all media platforms if he was in the quest for profits.
But he is not and just only loathes the attention he garners from giving attention to anything he wants to.
And this inturn brings more attention and thus profits to his own companies.

So if he was to do anything with cryptocurrenies than it wouldn't be to make any money out of it.
He obviously has enough coming in from the other companies he owns.
