2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Metaverse on: February 25, 2022, 11:16:26 PM
what do you think about the coin metaverse , is this just of hype or will it be the most profitable coin in 2022 ?

No one knows honestly. It will depend on how their journey will be formed and made while on progress. If it's just hype, then you can ride the wave if you understand the risks. It's like the other future trend that we know today wherein no one can predict if it will be successful or not.

My suggestion is to enhance and improve your DYOR.

Then decide if you are willing to risks some money later on.
2382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would you Invest here if they fix these defects? on: February 22, 2022, 11:59:17 PM

Just by looking at the core purpose of the project, I think applying crypto or something related is not necessary. In crypto, a coin fundamental is necessary but not on these types of concept projects. Do you already gather feedback from their community? Try lurking at those to see what others see on the project.

Not saying this project is totally crap but I don't think there will be any hype this project will make.

From here, you do the actions of following them if you really like to be part of it.
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be prepared on: February 22, 2022, 11:56:55 PM
No matter how high crypto coins go bear market is unavoidable it's just the way the market survives, many people are brainwashed with present market condition that they already forget what bear market is, no amount of money can stop bear market from happening, don't say I don't warn you be prepared.

Regardless of the situation, just do your usual chores. It's not that bear market is new to most of us unless totally a newbie in crypto. Fears are common and usual but we have to look at the brighter side. If you don't prepare for anything, it's a big problem.

There's no 100% preparation we can do since there are unexpected situations. That's why doing brainstorming on what things we can do that can apply to any situation should be considered.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 22, 2022, 11:48:00 PM
PBA is already at the brink of extinction, we can't really deny that and that is exactly why they are now open to accept some foreign investments to form a team in the PBA now. Maybe if they succeed on this plans, PBA will continue but I think this won't go for long and it won't be the same league that we used to see.

"Brink of extinction" is a hard statement. Seems like you guys didn't actually follow the league. I hope it's just a figure of speech. Can you explain more why PBA is now on brink of extinction? They can even operate without getting much revenue since the pandemic. Having on a brink of extinction means PBA can't sustain its operation. Even PBA is not used to getting a much number of viewers, they have a large foundation. You guys definitely take the KBL partnership as a negative thing without even knowing what should we expect from it. Don't speculate negative things early but instead enjoy the game and betting. Smiley

Please use another choice of words the next time you describe the current status of the league. It's no doubt the league has a problem but being in extinction is definitely out of the topic.

Pardon for my choice of words, brink of extinction means that the league is already in the danger situation but that doesn't mean that they only have few years left because they still have a chance to make the league great again like it was used to be. And yes it was just a figure of speech mate, no need to make it a big deal. Revenue is not a problem in the PBA as it is still the most sought after and most watched league locally, for now. About the KBL, it is not yet tested and proven the the deal was indeed worth it. Besides, why do you think KBL decides to extend its arms?

Nevertheless, I'm still enjoying the games and betting to it Grin

Point taken. It's no secret that the league does have a problem but for sure, they can address it in the long run.

First with a big company that left in the league. With lots of companies willing to buy the franchise rights that Alaska left, they might be able to cover what this team left within several years in the making. If the league is deteriorating as a whole, no companies will risk buying a team in the league. It means the overall market is big and the opportunity to be part of it is a big opportunity to get in instead of signing a new fresh team.

Second, the KBL partnership will tighten the strength of 2 countries that want to be competitive in Asian Basketball. Also, an opportunity for our local players that might actually play overseas. I don't really have much information on what the partnership is all about but I'm sure it's good and can benefit both leagues.

About the KBL, it is not yet tested and proven the the deal was indeed worth it. Besides, why do you think KBL decides to extend its arms?

There's no testing yet since obviously, there's no final deal that was arranged yet as we speak.

We can fully give our real feedback about that, not speculated ones, once it was already take place.

2386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: February 21, 2022, 11:31:16 PM
Yes, the restrictions is getting better now, in many countries they've got lighter restrictions and the chance of removing any is nearly to come. We will see this event to happen if both camps are still aiming for it.

I don't know if it's something related but Japan's Naoya Inoue will come back in June in anticipation that Japan will now finally lift up its current sports restriction. If that's the case, this GGG vs Murata event might also return on that month since the event of this fight will happen in Japan.

Just speculation, not an official one. Maybe the restriction will lift up early.

Quote
Prime Minister Fumio Kishida held another press briefing on February 17, 2022, offering a significant reopening update. He confirmed that Japan will ease entry restrictions on nonresident foreign nationals beginning March 1, 2022 and provided details about the reopening plan.
Source: https://www.travelcaffeine.com/when-will-japan-reopen-allow-foreign-tourists/

As mentioned from the article, Japan will ease restrictions and re-open its borders starting March 1, 2022 but it is just a limited to foreign students or other short business transactions as they are still exploring ways to keep their country safe from the Covid-19. They also made it clear that travel for leisure is strictly prohibited in the meantime, so sports activities won't be available. But hopefully in April these restrictions will be lifted so that we can already watch the GGG vs Murata match.

That's good progress indeed.

If everything will be alright from now, expect that slowly but surely, Japan will now be open to all activities without any further restrictions. Since the event of GGG vs Murata will be in Japan, organizers think that there's no need for a rush to make this fight happen. If they want to continue the fight right away, they can just shift location but they didn't do it.

As of now, there's still no official update about the fight. Maybe we can expect more of it once Japan now change their restriction policy.

2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 21, 2022, 10:58:41 PM
People want to see East versus West not LeBron versus Durant.

There's no such thing as LeBron vs Durant. The team's respective Captain will be chosen based on the total number of votes. That's why in the first year of that new format, it was Team LeBron vs Team Steph because they are Top 1 and 2 respectively on getting the most number of votes. Then there's a time it was Team LeBron vs Team Giannis and so on.

Fourth, get rid of the All-Star jerseys.  Back in the day when each player represented their own team, it was great to see out there.

I think it won't happen again as the NBA All-Star Game is not between the Eastern and Western Conference now. And even prior to that new format, they are using specific All-Star game jerseys for several years now.

But I agree with you, I prefer those team jerseys too.

Lastly, make the game actually mean something.  An idea would be to give the winning side (East or West) home court advantage in the NBA Finals. That would get these players sweating out there...

I disagree that it should affect the format of the NBA Finals in general. NBA All-Star is pure entertainment wherein the road to Finals is a serious one. There's no competition on the All-Star game for several years now and we can just see a tight game during the last quarter or if the game is now nearing the end of the regulation.

We should never expect a close competition in NBA All-Star game.
2389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 21, 2022, 10:42:32 PM

I hope that John Riel Casimero won't be distracted or affected by the current cases he is facing.

It happened way back in June last year and the case was filed last week. link

As per the primary response of his team, it was a fabricated case. His legal team should properly addressed it right away without giving distraction to Casimero as much as they can so he will just be focused on his conditioning. Following the progress of this news.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 21, 2022, 10:36:50 PM
Have you heard that some people gamble for fun and not necessarily to make money?

That's a crap reason for me. Gambling is fun but on the other hand, we should do our best to make money out of it.

There are lots of other things to do to make fun of, why gamble in the first place?

It's better that while having fun, we always goal for a win. How can it be fun if our losing stats is worst? Sorry but I'm not a gambler that sticks with the idea that only used the amount we afford to lose and have fun. It's like literally throwing our money for nothing.

as I have posted in my betting tips topic:
1° You Can't become rich with betting! You can make a big win, but in a long period (what we are talking here) you CAN'T become rich!

In the first place, why pursue becoming rich thru doing gambling? It's not making sense.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 21, 2022, 10:32:47 PM
I don't recommend Stake to get Drake as one of their endorsers, Drake has a gambling problem he can bet a huge amount of money because he still can make a lot of money as a concert artist and he also admitted that he has a gambling problem, it's against what Stake.com preaches in their TOS about responsible gaming.
Maybe we can suggest that to Stake but if Stake still wants to hire Drake as one of their endorsers and they've already spent a lot of money, Drake will stick with them. Apart from that, maybe Stake has other considerations for Drake and hopefully, Stake can help Drake cure Drake's gambling problem. And if Drake can overcome his gambling problems, it will lift Stake's popularity because he has helped one of his endorsers overcome his problem in gambling.

If he becomes their endorser he will gamble more because he is getting more money besides doing a concert and he will enjoy perks that Stake.com is going to offer, to make him play more and how will Stake.com help Drake overcome his gambling, will they offer him to take professional help and fund his healing session, it's like Stake.com helping Drake to dump them, Cheesy Cheesy
Remember part of the healing is dumping anything related to gambling and Stake is one of them.

I don't understand why you guys are getting so much concerned about Drake involving in the Stake platform. Regardless of his gambling habit, why should we care and give a crap out of it? Endorsement is an endorsement, advertisement is an advertisement, awareness is awareness, what's the difference of it to the other personalities doing publicity to the other products?

Stake is a gambling platform, not an institution to help people recover or stay away from gambling.

2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 20, 2022, 11:53:26 PM
Just remember for next time though that you want to play on sites that have clear no KYC policies. KYC is a double edged sword - it can very easily be abused.

The problem is, these people choose to play on not popular sites. I'm not saying there will be no problem playing at those sites but it's still good to put trust in those popular ones compare to non-popular. It has a high chance that sites will use the KYC-related problem not to lift the ban of the concerned account.

Unfortunate things really happened and the OP has no choice but to move on now and forget everything.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 20, 2022, 11:51:17 PM
In a seven gane series I really can't see anyone beating them in the West.

Does it mean that Eastern Conference has a deeper lineup compared to those at the West wherein you already put the Phoenix Suns as the team to beat or should I say, no team can beat them in Sever-game series?

I might agree with you if we are just sharing speculations but maybe there will be an unexpected team in the West that will surprise us once the playoffs come like last playoffs where no one, or only a few, expected that Bucks and Suns will meet at the Finals.

I'm not saying they can't be beat but for sure the Suns are the team to beat in the West.  And yes this year the East is deeper in terms of team talent.  The mid to back end of the west is terrible.  Bucks could certainly take them again but I'm banking on the Suns being there.  Chris Paul is playing too good.  Just hope this finger injury isn't a nagging one for him.

On-point and partially agree. Technically, if we looked at the Western Conference current competition, Phoenix Suns are really the team to beat to consider.

Those teams sitting from 3rd spot are somehow new to the vocabulary.

Let's see if one of those West teams can give an headache and tough road for the Phoenix Suns to reach the Finals.

Don't expect too much entertainment from the Slam Dunk contest to the point that all dunks will be good. Of course, I'm enjoying it but not on the highest level. No doubt that the majority of Dunk Contest is crap, as even considered by others, not until the like of Lavine, Gordon put up a great show.

I am right lol.  Grin
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 20, 2022, 11:47:34 PM
If you dont care about those possible issues then go ahead and play with it because there are feelings which live games could really give out something unlike into those others thats why there are still people who do still prefer on playing even with those trust issues if you couldnt bare it up then you  could always skip up and find out other things which you do much prefer and interest on.

Regardless if those games are manipulated or pre-recorded (as others say), gamblers will still play on it due to the fact that; a) they have a high winning chance playing there b) gamblers think they can ride on it c) just for entertainment and fun.

Trust is a big word. If you are playing those games at those reputable sites already, then assume that everything is fair.
2396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 20, 2022, 11:42:53 PM
Not asking or anything on that regard to promote the casino involved.
But with the publicity that stake got from Drake. Who knows, stake is already thinking of getting Drake as part of their celebrity endorsers?

Do you mean, it's more that Drake is really used on betting with the Stake platform and it's just that, it happened he bet a big amount that's why it become a talk of a town?

That makes sense although it's really a quiet public advertisement at a high chance.

For his followers, they should definitely think if they can follow his lifestyle because not many can bet such amount without the possibility of losing it all.

I don't think by being a follower, they should also do the same lifestyle as their Favorites.

On the betting side, it's good to follow but obviously, not to place the same amount that their Favorites are risking.

2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 05:45:57 PM
Drake will surely can manage the loss and I don't think it was just purely a bet on his side, there's a different story I guess on why he did that. Maybe to advertise the casino as well or that's not all his money at all in the first place, there are some evidence that he's with Stake after all for advertisements.
Are you saying Stake endorse Drake? Or what did you mean by Drake is with Stake after all for advertisement? I wish to know more about this. Or may be you mean that it can be an agenda not disposed to the public so that people can know Stake as a gambling platform that is providing deposit and withdrawal service in crypto. I guess this later will be what it is, as for me, $1.3 million is too much for gambling but can be a means to advertise.

No need to know the exact answer but rather, you can create speculation for that since it's not a big deal after all.

The Stake platform is already known as a crypto-betting site. With Drake being involved, it might push more awareness about the platform.

Up to you if you want to consider other things as "fishy".

2399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey of a successful trader on: February 19, 2022, 05:36:26 PM
Actually there's only 8 steps to become a successful traders so better to follow it than creating your own journey.!

I won't argue that those are good references, it's good honestly. However, it was simply said than being done. If those things are that easy to achieved, we are all successful by now.

Can we define the true meaning of "successful trader"?

For me, just continue to lurk every day in the world of trading. Experience losses, regrets, disappointment, etc. as that will be the best foundation we have in building a good trading journey.
2400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 19, 2022, 05:32:33 PM
I don't have the problems with trusting them, it's gambling, after all, we can win or lose any time, it's just that some other games are more attractive to me!

On point. Regardless of it's really live or not, gambling is gambling. I don't even think that these games are actually live on not will increase the chance of winning. In case this was pre-recorded, which I doubt it is, the same sequence applies, a bettor will place a bet then hope they will hit that pre-recorded result.

The bottom line, it's safe to assume that everything is fair and square especially if the involved site is popular. I don't see why they should cheat in the first place as that will affect their reputation.

And just to be clear, it's the Game Provider that hosts these games, not the gambling site in general.
