It is nice to have a thread for the Russian league also. Thank you for opening the topic. We can clearly see that Zenit have had a big dominance over the years. They became the champions for four times in a row. It was a quite comfortable championship last season too by a nine point gap with Sochi. It was surprising to see Sochi finishing the league as the 2nd by the way. Teams like CSKA Moscow and especially Spartak Moscow didn't have a good season at all. I wonder what kind of a season is waiting for us and the league has already started by the first week.

Memphis Depay's condition in the team is still ambiguous for now. He is talking to Barcelona board and there are some new updates about it. The team are likely to let him go if he wants to leave this summer. They seem even ready to sell him for a low transfer fee. Considering that they have signed him on a free transfer it is normal I believe. Depay seems likely to leave only if he finds a big team for himself. Marca says that Barcelona have started to have an interest in Jules Kounde once again. He is among Chelsea's transfer targets also now so I wonder where his next station will be this summer. There is an interesting situation also now. Chelsea are interested in Ake also. In case they sign Ake then Manchester City are also thinking about signing Jules Kounde. If Manchester City enter the race then I don't think Barcelona would have the biggest chance to sign him. It is true that Chelsea aren't mainly in need of a defender from now on after signing Kalidou Koulibaly. However they still seem like eager to bring another defender. I agree with you, @Gianluca95, that Chelsea had better try to sign a good striker now. Broja, Werner and Batshuayi are the forwards in the team at the moment. I wouldn't make do with these players as none of them makes me confident. Chelsea should find a striker like Manchester City have found. They should be ready to spend whatever amount of money they need to.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to be signed by Milan again according to some news. I assume that it would be a one-year deal. Zlatan is still ambitious about playing professional football despite his age. He is still very strong also. He is injured for a long time though and he would most likely be able to play after the first half of the season passes. I wasn't expecting this deal so early because of his lasting injury actually. But this is only a rumour for now of course.
The rumors seem to be coming true, reportedly AC Milan will announce the extension of Zlatan Ibrahimovic contract by next week. He also recently had surgery which will keep him out till January 2023. I'm confused by AC Milan, why do they want to extend the contract of a player who can't even play until next year, does anyone know the reason AC Milan will do this?  Milan just don't want to lose him because of some bond between each other I guess. Zlatan has led the team very good so far even though he wasn't very impressive by performance last season. His presence and directives must be like an extra motivation for the team. Otherwise as you said there would be no meaning in extending his contract. I still find it awkward to sign him already now as he is out for a half season though but it is up to their choice in the end. |

Yüksek enflasyon durumu ve artışın sürekli devam etmesi insanları ister istemez alacaklarını hemen almaya zorluyor. Bunu bizzat kendim de yaşamaktayım. Daha geçen aylarda örneğin telefon fiyatlarındaki artışı gözlerimle gördüm. Xiaomi normalde ucuz telefon sağlaması yönüyle çokça tercih edilirdi ama artık onun bile fiyatları el yakıyor.

I don't see Real Madrid as the certain favourite for now either. Apart from that it is still too early to make this kind of predictions. I mean we don't know how strong Real Madrid are going to play this time and whether Barcelona will keep up the good work also. It is seen that Barcelona have improved themselves very much of course. Except these teams I don't expect Atletico Madrid or another different team to become the champions. I just don't feel like it will happen. We would see a race between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Napoli'nin son anda Kim Min-jae için araya girip nakit 20 milyon euro teklif ettiği söyleniyor. Şimdilik Rennes'in teklifi askıya alınmış gibi duruyor. Oyuncunun takımdan ayrılacağı net bir şekilde belli oldu artık zaten de herhalde Napoli Rennes'in elinden anlaşmayı çalacak gibi gözüküyor. Fenerbahçe bu anlaşmadan çok iyi para kazanacak ona şüphe yok. Defansta da bir yandan zayıflama olacak tabi ne yazık ki. It is a good point also. Manchester City don't have any reliable substitute centre-forward now. There are Julian Alvarez and Nahuel Bustos who are returnees from their loan spells. However I don't think that Manchester City are thinking of any of them as substitutes now. Manchester City played without a striker too last season when Gabriel Jesus wasn't available to play. Maybe they are just thinking of the same plan for next season also. They had better be lucky about Haaland's not getting injured for a long time. |

Robert Lewandowski will complete his move to Barcelona this weekend, after Bayern Munich verbally accepted an increased offer worth 50m euros (£42.5m) for the Poland striker.
After selling Lewandowski, Bayern will increase their bid to Juventus for the Netherlands defender Matthijs de Ligt, 22, who has already agreed personal terms for a five-year contract.
So, Bayern obviously decided to make good money on Lewandowski and bring in a new football star.
Robert Lewandowski has finally got what he wanted. Good for him! I think that Bayern Munich have made a good choice by not forcing him. They weren't going to make any money if they decided to keep him for one more season. Now they can sign a good striker by using this money also. I'm not seeing any rumour about a striker for Bayern Munich. But they would start quickly to search for striker after this transfer. Some people said that they were thinking Mane in that position if Lewandowski left but I don't see it logical. |

 Maybe it isn't completely official on Transfermarkt currently but it looks like the Kalidou Koulibaly deal has been completed for Chelsea. Napoli have lost one of their most important players by this transfer. However 40 million euros is a really nice amount of money. They can sign a new decent defender by using this money too. Napoli had a good season last but I expect them to improve themselves more. Because we have started to see different teams being the champions so they should also take advantage of this situation. |

It seems like there are two options for Arsenal to bring into the left-back position of the lineup. These options are Sergio Gomez from Anderlecht and Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City. Tavares seems likely to be sold very soon also and they want to bring one of these players to his place. Sergio Gomez is also a great option for Arsenal and his performance last season was really impressive too. He had 5 goals and 12 assists in 34 Jupiler League matches. However Zinchenko knows the Premier League very well and he is also solid. I think they should go for him.

Manchester City might go for signing Jules Kounde in case Chelsea sign Nathan Ake from them. This would be another big signing for Manchester City actually. Because Kounde is a very skilled centre-back and he can do a bigger job than Ake in this team. He doesn't have any Premier League experience in his career though but he is already playing in the second biggest league in Europe. I don't think he would have serious issues in the Premier League as well.

Performansı tartışılır, geçmişinde başarılar olabilir ama Türkiyeye bence hiç gelmemeliydi  Aslında Mesut Özil eskiden çok iyi oyunculardan birisiydi. Real Madrid zamanı en parlak dönemlerinden birisiydi ama Arsenal'e geldikten sonra işler pek de yolunda gitmemeye başladı. Futboldan sanıyorum 1.5-2 sene gibi bir süre uzak da kalmıştı kadro dışı kaldıktan sonra. Böyle bir aralıktan sonra dönünce de artık eski Mesut Özil yoktu zaten. O yüzden bence Fenerbahçe en baştan hiç teklif yapmasaymış daha iyiymiş. Çok bir verim alamadılar çünkü. Ayrıca Başakşehir'den yıllık 1-1.5 milyon euro arası bir şey alacakmış galiba. Fenerbahçe'den aldığı paraya kıyasla baya az. |

The new owner of the team, Todd Boehly, has made his first signing for the team and it is Raheem Sterling. They didn't have a natural left winger in the team so this is a great transfer for them. Sterling is a very skilled player and his contribution to Manchester City so far has been really significant. I don't expect him to have any adaptation problem to his new team. Chelsea like to play fast and Sterling would like this a lot. He can do a great job by goals and assists both.

Neymar's not wanting to work with Mbappe in training was really interesting. I wonder if there are some problems between each other. This isn't a good sign for the team obviously because this can cause at least one of their performance to go down. I hope that it doesn't happen for Mbappe as he is their biggest hope next season as always. Neymar, Mbappe and Messi all should be playing fully focusedly to be successful in the Champions League. They are targeting to win a title and they should give their everything for that.

Galatasaray'ın da bir süredir bu oyuncunun peşinde olduğu söyleniyordu ama Fenerbahçe'nin imza attıracağı konuşuluyor. Açıkçası bu oyuncu hakkında biraz şüphelerim var.
