If you go to the sea you can watch ships disappear on the distance due to the curvature of the earth you don’t need to do any fancy experiment to know the earth is round.
2382  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If 98% of the atoms in our body are replaced in just 1 year, what are we? on: February 19, 2017, 04:31:26 PM
What that tells me is that we cannot define ourselves completely by what we see and can measure, to me that tells me that whatever makes us a unique individual is not tied to the physical reality we can measure.
2383  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Philippines: War on Illegal Gambling on: February 19, 2017, 04:28:31 PM
Link: http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/870892/dela-rosa-declares-war-on-illegal-gambling

"President Duterte has signed an executive order further regulating the issuance of gambling licenses – including those for online operations – and directing the Philippine National Police (PNP) and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to go after gambling syndicates and unlicensed operators."

After its war on drugs, The Philippines is now going full swing on its anti-gambling campaign.
After being booted out from President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, the Philippine National
Police (PNP) will now be entering a "war against illegal gambling."

What's your thoughts on this? Duterte really means business and he really wants to clean
his country.

While a war on drugs is understandable, I don't see a reason to declare a war on gambling, while gambling is not precisely the best way to spend your time and money, in itself is not a damaging activity like putting chemicals in your body.
2384  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Rothschilds: 8 times richer than the richest 8 on: February 14, 2017, 03:41:51 AM
Who the fuck is this Mark Zuckerberg and how the fuck he gets so rich in such a short time i don't understand. Bill Gates worked his ass off over the years and built many many nice things and then this shit face (suckerberg) comes up with a dating website and becomes as rich as Bill Gates. It definitely doesn't fit.

Maybe it is because Facebook is FBI's and CIA's favourite data collection app...
It is people's fault, I don’t like Bill Gates but at least he created some product that were useful at the time, but I have never seen the pull facebook has, as you may guess I never had a facebook account but the rest of the population is crazy about it.

Did I read that right? More than 60% are using chrome to navigate the internet? I thought some were motivated to regain some degree of privacy and that is why they wanted to use bitcoin, Chrome basically registers everything you do in your browser at least use Chromium.
2386  Economy / Economics / Re: In which country is capitalism better implemented? on: February 14, 2017, 03:28:50 AM
Capitalism is an economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and their operation for profit. But in every country there is a different form of practice.

For example, is America and capitalism in Europe the same?
Or is the capitalism in the middle eastern countries and African countries the same?

In which country is capitalism better implemented?
It depends on what you mean by better implemented, if you are looking for the best opportunities to make business then the first world seems to be better for that, but if what you are looking is to keep most of the fruits of your labor for yourself then look for the countries with the lowest taxes in the world.
2387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Investment: risk or benefit? on: February 14, 2017, 03:24:50 AM
-Benefits is you may use that bitcoin to invest in other Bitcoin services and invest bitcoin is safe, profit good
-Risk is that Bitcoin collapses and if countries and government accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin will have tax, your computer can be hacked
What’s your opinion?
In theory, even if bitcoin is not recognized as a currency, you must pay taxes on your earnings that you get when you trade in bitcoin, so that is nothing new besides you can take care of your computer to avoid being hacked, the most important is to not install pirated software or surf in doubtful websites.
2388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if price would be stable for years? on: February 14, 2017, 03:20:27 AM
I think most users are involved in Bitcoin not because they belief in the technology, but because they hope the price will go thru the roof. So let us say the price would be at $900 for the next 50 years.
Would you still use and buy Bitcoin or would you leave?

EDIT: Poll added!
I will still use it, obviously if the price were to be stable then some interest is going to be lost especially from investors but it will offer great stability for the development of businesses.

This has been a crazy ride the lows and the recovery, but with the price reached at some of the periods of this day you could have bought at a good price and wait for an increase in price.
2390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The world's first calculator used to calculate the possible price changes of BTC on: February 12, 2017, 05:19:56 PM
Space calculator is the world's first calculator used to calculate the possible price changes of the BTC.
It can also be used for the price calculation of any other investment goods such as shares, futures, gold, etc.
Also,it is free,and so simple.
You just choose the highest point of X and the lowest point of Y, input the values of X and Y in space calculator, click the "Calculate" button, and you will get the answer.

More,see

This is simply impossible, besides if you had anyway to predict all of that, as if all of that followed the same rules, then you will not be here, you will be doing a fortune with it and avoiding revealing the secret to anyone else.
2391  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 12, 2017, 05:16:54 PM
Both are good option if you want faster profits then bitcoin is without a doubt the best right now, but if what you want is stability and long term security then gold it is the best, so probably a good idea would be the divide your capital in 2 and invest the same amount on both.
2392  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 12, 2017, 05:11:39 PM
If you look at the forecasts of specialists on bitcoin, the current decline in the price of bitcoin will benefit those who spend their savings on the purchase cryptocurrency. So metaphorically it makes a good investment for the future.
Bitcoins was a good investment in the past, it is a good investment now, and it will continue to be a good investment in the future as well, but the sooner you get  into it the sooner you will see the rewards of bitcoin.
2393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto can be easily tested on: February 12, 2017, 05:09:10 PM
I am very new to this whole blockchain thing, so correct me if i am wrong, . . but someone claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto could prove it by announcing a specific data transfer from the Satoshi Nakamoto account , (say 768.00987 BTC) and then after announcing such a claim, transfer that exact amount a few days later, . .the data transaction could be monitored for proof of ownership of that account at least. .
That will prove the person moving the coins has a way to move the coins but it is not a definitive proof the person moving the coins is satoshi, there is the possibility of someone stealing satoshis private keys by hacking or by having physical access to his computer and we also need to take into account that satoshi does not seem to want to be identified, so that will be suspicious.
2394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: February 05, 2017, 02:54:27 AM
Next stop: MOON  Grin
If you say good bye to triple digits the most likely outcome is we are going to have to say hi to them again in the next weeks, but I think that probably in the next 2 or 3 years we will be able to say goodbye to triple digits for sure.
2395  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank's regulatory system is a nightmare -- here's why it won't ever change on: February 05, 2017, 02:48:27 AM
I do not know what to think, while I understand complexity to be part of the system this is simply ridiculous, there is no way a system that complex can be monitored effectively for any amount of time.
2396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is being told to people in High Schools about Bitcoin on: February 05, 2017, 02:42:02 AM
There is not much of a point in debating with someone that does not even have their fact straight, the teacher is just parroting whatever he heard on TV instead of researching the facts himself, if he did then he will go and buy bitcoin immediately.
2397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is LTC dead ? on: February 05, 2017, 02:35:37 AM
since few days and LTC always down .. is LTC dead ?
LTC is not dying, it has lots of hash power, the price has been stable, so you can cash out if you want and now we are going to see segwit implemented on it, I think what is happening is that there has been a lot of movement in bitcoin and investors have decided to focus on bitcoin.
2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 05, 2017, 02:27:55 AM
LTC is the only coin that looks too cheap in top 10. So big correction up is absolutely sure event just hold to the right moment.

too cheap? what does that even mean lol?
I suppose he meant the coin is undervalued and it may be a good idea to hold some LTC since he is expecting a correction in the price that could earn you some profit.
2399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is everything so silent these days around here? on: January 29, 2017, 05:25:43 PM
with all the volatility in price that we seen in the past couple of weeks it is good to see some silence, but is there any reason for it?
Because the volatility has passed, those that lost money out of it are licking their wounds, and those that earned a profit are partying all night long and finally those that stayed out of it are waiting for the next bubble.
2400  Other / Archival / Re: I'm really leaving the U.S. for a 3rd world country because of politics on: January 29, 2017, 05:19:01 PM
The reason for leaving is up the each one of us, but leaving without an established source of income I think it is a mistake, if you want to leave then the first thing to do is to find ways to earn money on that other country or online, if you don’t have that then stay in your country until you do.
