This is not going to work in the long term. The Turks will have to stop suppressing the Kurdish culture and language. The pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) won more than 13% of the votes during the last election, and it's popularity is increasing. The more the Turks discriminate against the Kurds, the more it will strengthen the Kurdish unity.

Under Yeltsin, the ordinary people were starving and fleeing the country, while the oligarchs were accumulating their wealth through various dubious means. That changed when Putin came to power. The oligarchs started fleeing the country (Boris Berezovsky, Mikhail Khodorkovsky.etc), while the living standards for the ordinary Russians improved. |

Somewhat better, but still in a lot of trouble. His legal fees amounted to more than $100,000 (of that donations covered some 20%), and his personal computer and other assets were seized by the cops. I am not sure whether he will get a reimbursement of the legal expenses, and I don't know how much time it will take to get those assets and appliances back (including the $600 seized from his kid's piggy bank). Hope to hear from Burt regarding these issues. |

Taking jobs away from the deserving people and giving them to the less qualified can never result in anything good. If a government or a system discriminates against a particular ethnic group of religion, then those individuals who belong to that group will migrate to some other place. This has happened in places such as California and Detroit, resulting in the bankruptcy of these states / cities. |

I don't think that this news is reliable. For long, the ISIS has used this type of gory and graphic videos to recruit psychopaths and mental patients from around the world. If they stop publishing these videos on their Twitter and YouTube accounts, then their recruitment drive will take a severe hit. And right now, they can't afford to do the same.

It will never work. More than 95% of the businesses and ventures within the United States are majority owned by the Non-Hispanic whites. If you are going to ban them, then they will simply pack their suitcases, and migrate to some other country (along with the businesses). The economy will collapse, and the unemployment rate will top 90%. Of course the capitalists will try to grab their toys and walk away. Why do you hope that? I have quite a few gay friends and it is a very hard thing for someone to have to go through life like that.
