Obviously, there would be exceptions, and this is where communication comes in. Ostracism is the preferred method of punishment for most crimes among the majority of anarchists I have encountered, and we are rather extreme about it. You make restitution for your crimes, or you literally do not get to interact with ANYONE. With proper communication, this can spread for a rather large, if not global, distance. It provides a rather strong incentive for someone who has transgressed against his neighbor to settle the issue.
So you implicitly suggest that all people share the same principles of life and moral values. It may be true for a small isolated group of people and your idea of ostracism and outlawry may actually work between them. But if you take some larger proportion of population and apply this principle among them you will see tensions arise and eventually you will end up with fractions denying and neglecting each other (if not fighting)...

Can you post the value of R^2?
What should in your opinion be taken as an independent variable (average/total/maximum hashrate)?

What you really want to look at is the PROFIT of mining. High profitability mining most certainly causes a price increase and it evidently so because the two largest most sustained run-ups in BTC price have both come about immediately following the introduction of newer generation of mining technology (GPU, ASIC).
Could that be just some form of correlation (if ever) without causation? To substantiate my position, I suggest looking at the current spike of prices whereas mining technology is presently at a deadlock...
|
|
|
Of course it could be that new tech brings new users because they think it is profitable. They end up thereafter realizing it isn't that profitable because they all do it at once and difficulty skyrockets and then they have to hold coins or it's a loss which causes a price rise and then the realization hits that it's more profitable to buy and hold. It seemed that way to me with the ASICs but I got here at the end of the GPU era so I could be wrong.
This also seems a bit dubious to me. New miners might indeed end up realizing that mining isn't profitable anymore and decide to hold their coins because of a price rise, but you first have to explain the reasons for this price increase, which makes it more profitable to buy and hold...
|
|
|
The mechanism of price increase is as follows. Miners new hardware turns a huge profit compared to old equipment that could only just cover electrical costs, miners do not need to sell many or sometimes any coins to cover newly reduced costs. Profitability generates media hype, hype brings in buyers and starts price increase. Miners hoard most coin production and cause a shortage in the market, price bubble goes exponential as coin liquidity dries up.
Why would this media hype and all that about the profitability (read coin output) of mining bring in new buyers of BTC? In the first place it would cause price drop expectations (more coins would be expected to be mined). It could bring in new BTC miners with ensuing BTC price decrease (not increase), because part of them would certainly sell some of the newly mined coins in the market...

If what you say is true, are those $trillionaires doing this for fun? What is the final goal, keeping the masses on the leash? Prevent their capital from being redistributed by the Second Law of Thermodynamics. How come? I know what the second law of thermodynamics is about (the entropy of an isolated system never decreases), but why is it applicable here (please don't say it's applicable to anything)?

in last 5 days just 2 or 3 ads coming what happen is there any problem or just because of price hike in btc
Using Bitvisitor you still see a lot of ads. Yes, payouts dropped somewhat there but not that much, and you can still earn something valuable and worthy of your time...

Bitcoin it's not money at 100%, because it's not fully portable, like gold, usd, eur, ..., requires Internet and specific software and hardware.
Everything you said in the quoted part is fully applicable to any non-cash operations and payments... Would you call currency in non-cash circulation as being not 100% money?

I see everyone talking about states and governments and their wrongdoings but what are you going to do with multilevel multinational corporations? Are they a secondary goal or not a target at all? Could it be that we're all missing the villain of the piece?

Let's not forget, that while we may disagree on what should replace this system/how we should improve it, I think we can agree that the way it is behaving at the moment is detrimental to most people and the biosphere - alternatives should be considered and solutions searched for.
If you want my view on this, I think that at any moment throughout human history this system (this here actually refers to different such systems for obvious reasons) has been behaving in a way that was detrimental to some and at times even to most people. There's no doubt about this. Although it is never too early to search for alternatives and solutions, today is not really the worst day...

I never suggested the forceful and instantaneous removal of the government. I support growing alternatives from the bottom up - like Bitcoin. Hopefully one day there will arise better ways of doing things than the current system.
I'm not accusing you of provoking disobedience or organizing acts of resistance... God forbid!

I actually said so in my very first post this topic: If you suddenly tear down the current system of rules, you might just get a temporary bout of the kind of Anarchy people are programmed to fear.
What do you mean by a temporary bout and why wouldn't this be a state (condition) of anarchy?
