This is dead cat's bounce because it doesn't happen some market in cryptocurrencies to collapse totally at once. There will be many stages in which this is going to earth. One thing at the moment huge loss and it's reputation has gone forever. This business is based on trust and that will not be recover in this case.

Eh? They paid everyone back... the coin they received is now worth almost a quarter of their active loans.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 09:40:22 AM
It's actually $67 now on coinexchange (0.006). I must confess I bought nearly $2k worth earlier at around a quarter of the price (0.0016).

0.0066 now lol so keeps going up at the moment (around $75).
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 09:37:14 AM
no information regarding the bounty program

A bit late for the party, sorry.

By the way, DavorCoin is currently at around $80-$90  from highs close to $200 so bitconnect isn't too far off it now without the matching lending platform.

A minute later:

A minute after that:
It's actually at 0.0057 on coinexchange now so well above $60

I got lucky..... Just about an hours ago (10pm PST US), I was able to sell all of my BCC coins for $155 -170 each (I had to establish a few different exchanges as the price was dropping like flies. I was able to log in about an hour prior to bitconnect enabling the exchange hoping to be the first to exchange my BCC for BTC at the highest price possible. It literally went from $220ish to $155 within a couple minutes. Currently bitconnnects exchange, its barely hanging on to $30. You can exchange for more on other supported exchanges (coinex, livecoin, hitbtc) for a bit more but that probably wont last long.

I did mention before that you could try getting in the exchange when it reopened as the price was higher when it closed.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 07:18:46 AM
Not sure when Bitconnect opened their exchange but it's open again now.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 07:12:29 AM
Hello everyone, I read some comment that Bitconnect wants to pay the money to its customers. I don't believe that but if it was true where does that money come from? I mean there can't be any debate that the coin is worthless now and won't help to recover any significant amount of funds whatsoever.

They have made a lot of profit from their lending system. It was simply a way to share the profits from their coin value. They always paid less BCC back even including all the interest as it was converted into USD but in total it was worth less BCC coins as the value of the coin went up.

By the way, Craig Grant is promoting DavorCoin now (breaking news in the last hour):  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm5GZDULyBI

DavorCoin is certainly the best lending platform at the moment (with a few unproven competitors) but there has probably been a loss of confidence in lending due to all the incorrect information going around about bitconnect. They were never in any financial trouble so people need to stop worrying about the lending platforms.

Bitconnect Scam Its Finally Over (Exit Scam)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2sJzqq1m9s

Did you actually watch it? He talks nonsense: "they ran out of money"

They have profited a lot and had no financial reason to close the lending.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 06:18:17 AM
Thanks for the spelling correction but normally as you can see on the graph the trading volume is $25million or so when the platform was working (if people believe the BCC exchange figures). The trading volume now is much higher than during the dump from panic sellers. People are now mostly buying the coin.

BitconnectX are trying to raise $500million+ in the ICO btw, so not sure what you mean about the few million dollars of sales in the 24 hours of the dump (mostly sales). Obviously nobody from bitconnect sold a significant amount or tried to crash the price and have always tried to protect their coin price before. I'm sure they still have millions of BCC.
They don't give a rats ass about those millions of cookie cutter BCC coins, they got what they were coming for. 100"s of millions dollars worth of Bitcoins.

People keep talking about BTC but bitconnect never dealt in BTC. You could buy their token on any exchange and just send them BCC to loan. You didn't lend the BTC it had to be BCC coins only. So you are saying they sold some of their BCC as profit? Which they should have done as the lending was profitable for them and I would have recommended they sell their BCC profit. The coin price always went up so they weren't trying to steal from investors. The good thing about the lending system that caused so much BDS (Bitconnect Derangement Syndrome) is it stopped them from dumping their own coin as it would cost them more in interest payments if the coin is low instead of being able to profit from the lending system.

The price just this minute jumped about 30% it seems to near $40....actually now it's near $50!! Anyway, there was another point I was going to make but not sure what it was now. Oh yes, it was probably due to legal reasons they stopped the lending as they had many investors from the USA.

lol a lot of people dumped the coins.

Writing in all caps doesn't make you any less wrong. It just makes the absurdity more obvious to everyone.

That's not miniscule volume we're talking about. It's still a lot of money being dumped quickly and expediently. It looks small, only relative to the other parts of the graph.

The volume now is meaningless. It's because people like me (who would have sooner bought XRP than even considered BCC) are trying to day-trade it for some quick cash.

Buy at sub-10, and trade it with investors still clinging to hope (or those trying to dump, finally succumbing) for 30. Great deal.

However, I'm holding off until $5.

Bitconnect probably still has millions of BCC coins even after refunding everyone as they have never had to go into their reserves during their whole operation. They have been accumulating more and more coins not even counting the ones they staked which incidentally was more than enough to pay affiliates (remember they always paid less BCC with their infamous lending system than they took in). There was hardly any volume on the exchanges (coinmarketcap adds it all up). Nobody from bitconnect dumped any significant amount of coins. Also, bitconnect never dealt in BTC. The exchange was for other users buying BCC with BTC or selling it. I expect bitconnect also traded it but look at the history of the coin price, it was never dumped on.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 04:53:23 AM
Look again. I actually logged in today and it had the $150 per BCC price for the ICO. Yesterday it hadn't. That message was from today. So you will get 3 BCCX for one BCC.

Let me introduce AGM76. The immoral motherfucker and a paid shill of bitconnect scammers who was actively promoting bitconnect scam and who now is trying to promote a new scam called bitconnect X. Dude, I advise you to go and fuck yourself together with bitconnect scammers and all other peoples involved in this scam. Fucking Idiot.

I never promoted bitconnect. I only joined this thread to point out how everyone was mistaken about them. I never invested more than $5k in them.

I suggest people try Eigencoin, DavorCoin or LendConnect for similar systems. Bitconnect has shown they do not 'crash' usually as long as the coin remains in demand and doesn't fall in value for a long period of time. Be wary of any that begin with high prices, as they should start off quite low for the bulk of the initial lending. Bitconnect didn't end due to financial reasons.
Dude you just don't get it, ok so bitcoin was up like 1600% percent for the year, if everyone just held their bitcoin they would of had a higher return point blank zero questions, of course they didn't stop for financial hardships. they stole all that money, with their exit strategy.  that simple

Proof they didn't "exit scam"

The volumes on all the exchanges were miniscule during this supposed 'dump' by the devs etc.

NOBODY DUMPED THE COINS.

It doesn't take much selling to crash exchange prices as they hold a small proportion of the coins. It is obvious there is far more volume now than during the crash. By the way, the coin is still going up now.

"Firstly, we want to thank all you guys for attending the second annual BitConnect conference and, moreover, special thanks to you wonderful folks ready to take part in our BitConnect X ICO. We've been informed that there's a celebrity in the house. Jrevon Tames, please stand up and take a bow. Jrevon. Jrevon. Looks like perhaps Jrevon stepped out for a sec to go to the bathroom. Let's applaud him nonetheless for flying here so to grace us with his presence."

<insert the roar of thousands of one hand clapping>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnAyXdGNYgo

There is Trevon's latest video. I haven't heard it all yet (apparently he's now gonna try LendConnect and DavorCoin) but at the beginning of the video he says that he's heard from good sources that bitconnect are going to refund users who invested in the last couple of month who haven't had enough time to get the value of their loans etc

Seems too good to be true?? Well the fact is Bitconnect are hugely in profit and were never a Ponzi so they have the funds for this.

By the way, why do people accuse forum members of being shills? I have no clue who started bitconnect. I even said before that their lending system worked by sheer fluke probably as they didn't even have a coin when they first started two years ago. It was probably started by some MLM promoters in the far east who paid some developers to create the website. The lending system works well enough by chance but I don't think it was by any clever design.

They must have very good promoters because BitconnectX keeps selling out within seconds.

https://bitconnect.co/system-news/95/bitconnect-update-regarding-the-changes-to-lending-and-exchange-functions/

Dear community members, the current BCC price drop is the direct result of us releasing all of our members coins at one time. We will do our best to honor the value of BCC as close to what it has been holding during past several months. At this time, we are closing the lending platform only. The BCC Exchange will work as usual from tomorrow and the wallet service will remain operational to hold your BCC on the website.

For next 10 days we are allowing members outside the U.S.A, to participate in the BitConnect X ICO with BCC at $150. This is to support existing coin holders and give the BCC coin some initial stability after these recent events.

We are launching a new, superior system as an exchange that will support several cryptocurrencies as soon as possible and BCC will be listed immediately.

BitConnect Coin are limited in supply to 28 million and there are currently only 9.6 million in circulation. This scarcity of supply should create a market demand, with help and support from the community, once this new exchange begins operation.

We still expect BitConnect coin (BCC) to gain its value back and you can hold your coins in the website wallet or transfer them to a QT wallet.

We apologize for this inconvenience and we are working to get things corrected for this community and platform.

Best Regards,
The Team BitConnect

BTW thanks to "Dooglus" for giving me negative feedback for 'promoting a ponzi' lol  Has he bought any bitcoin in his life I wonder, which is far more of a ponzi? Also, looking at his feedback he does this a lot whenever he thinks people are talking about a 'ponzi'. One of the deluded ones.
This is the worst Bitconnect Coin project ever that i saw they deceived many investors and the participants of this project now still want to spend one more IСO in order to once again raise money from investors and then in a few months again deceive the community of the project.

================================================

One cannot get $150 per BCC towards buying the BCCX ICO at $50.  Bitconnect-X is giving less than $18 per BCC towards the ICO $50 coin. But Bitconnect lenders had to pay  $365 per BCC in order to be able to get out their lending wallets refunded. Why not give 7 BCCX per each BCC that was in the lending wallet and be fair and keep the exchange honest. Bitconnect-X will fail to kick-off they have no good-will name and screwed its investors. If you noticed they did not even alert its investors of what was going on in their Twitter. They gave priority to its insiders to sell their BCC coins first and the rest were kept blinded with a frozen exchange.

Look again. I actually logged in today and it had the $150 per BCC price for the ICO. Yesterday it hadn't. That message was from today. So you will get 3 BCCX for one BCC.

Yeah it works but takes ages to get connections usually. It's fine once it starts. Have 15 connections now.

Thanks buddy. So without sync completed, I can't receive the coin, can I send the coin from BCC website for now?

You can send it to the wallet and it will appear there later.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 02:06:52 AM
I wish i knew more about the events that occurred with this coin, so i could partake in this shit talking.
Unfortunately i don't know shit about BCC, and don't give two fucks to know.

There are possibly 3 reasons that this coin and or any coin receives so much negativity:

1) it is a scam
2) someone really hated these fucking devs for whatever reason
3) Karma

The actual reason most people receive hate is more subtle than that, actually. It's usually when something has the complete opposite values and may even be virtuous in many cases. It makes people feel insecure that they believe in something that they can't admit to being a ponzi so they call out the opposite of that and try to believe it is a Ponzi to psychologically survive or go mental trying. Bitconnect lending (where lenders receive less coins back not more lol but are guaranteed their capital - I'm sure Bitconnect can estimate its growth well enough to know how much interest they can pay) and Bitcoin (which is far more of a Ponzi)
