Stratum with VARDIFF - 2% Fee - Pays full block reward - 120 confirms to start, will likely lower once I see the coins generated in the wallet.

source just popped on github..

no joke

I am still new at this. How do i compile the source? I thought the client would be the whole package as in a program similar to litecoin-qt. Or is that yet to come?

I am looking for a DOGE>USD chart. The DOGE>BTC chart doesn't really make total sense to me because BTC fluctuates like 20% either way every 24 hours. If i was buying DOGE with BTC id care, but i didn't buy into it, i am just mining it.

EDIT: Found a decent one at the bottom of this page.

Looks like the fad is coming do a close. What do you guys think?

K i have no idea how any of this works, but bare with me for a second. From what Ive been reading the whole reason for breaks in mining the most profitable coin is to disperse the funds according to the miners settings and keep things flowing efficiently. Without the break the mining would go on and on forever until the next DOGE-like coin comes around. Here's my vague idea in simple form.

Instead of having one instance of the miner running, you have 2. Both instances have approx 50% of hashco.ws hashrate. Every so many hours (maybe 6 or 12) they switch the users from one instance of the miner to the other.  This gives a break in mining to let hashco.ws disperse the funds to the miners. The difference is they only have to do one switch from MINER1>MINER2 instead of DOGE>WDC>DOGE. This prevents the 6 minute mining of the 2nd most profitable coin and prevents 50% of the downtime we are bitching about during the switching coin process.

So what difficulty does a coin need in order for us to mine it without making the difficulty spike? (due to the enormous hashrate shocking it)

I'm trying to wrap my head around this while looking at all the other coins. Theres a ton!

Its alright but runs a bit hot. Im going to sell it off and buy another twin frozr 3 so all of my cards identical. Biggest reason is its difficult to differe -g values in cgminer. (7950 likes -g1 and 7970 likes -g2)

Want to buy it? Lol

This wont work ftr.  The pool marks whether you auto-trade or not at the time the each round ends.  This is because it has to know how much of that rounds earnings get paid out in doge vs. get sent off for auto-trading.  Turning auto-trade back on later will only affect future rounds earnings.  In addition, auto-trade will never trade your already confirmed balances of coins, it only ever deals with coins mined in recently active rounds.

Alright.

Just sold them them on eBay.

Are the MSI cards the 3GD5/OC? Do they have one 8 pin plug and one 6 pin plug?

Good point; where do the cows go to trade these coins?

I just uncheck my auto-trade box. (payout to BTC)
Then set my payout threshold in my Dogecoin balance to 999999999. This means that my coins will sit in the pool until it hits that impossible to reach number. When i am ready to cash in i will go into my user settings and check the auto-trade box and apply it.

Will that work? i haven't tried dumping them yet. Yes i know its not "safe" but its only 40,000 or ~$100 worth so far.

Damn they removed my comment! it was:

When obama forces you to get up and find a job, you will find that they prefer to pay you with direct deposit. In other words, garbage ones and zeros.

Did your parents buy that house with gold bars? Does your welfare pay you in cold hard cash? Mmm dat paper money - thats real currency.

Bitcoinvacations.com would be a good one to have once bitcoin goes mainstream.

Diamond and Cosmos adjust after 1 block, switching the pool to mine there just to have the difficulty spike and have to switch back is far from efficient.

I understand.

What is your minimum time per round? My GPUs just started revving up again, and i'm afraid there is a lot of downtime throughout the day.
