it depends. but holding some bitcoin is also good for long term investors. Around 40% of your portfolio should be bitcoin. because during bearish trend you can use those bitcoins to reduce your avarage costs and collect more altcoins cheaper.

i hope ethereum overtakes the market. because bitcoin is affected by so many things including fake manipulations. but if ethereum is going to take over the market, it shouldnt reduce paralelly when bitcoin price is dropping.

it is very possible. if you can wait a few years and hold some strong coins you can reach to milliomn dollars. just check from coinmarketcap what was the price of major altcoins at the beginning of last year and how much they are now. you will also believe that it is possible.

now it is not a good time to sell alts. because bearish trend is ongoing and if you sell them now you will be sold them for a very cheap price. it is better to exchange them to other altcoins or just hold as much as you can.
