241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 28, 2021, 01:40:41 PM
Very lucky person, with that money you could spend it all how you want but still if they don't handle it well it can go fast easily but with that amount I really don't think you can spend it fast but maybe you could invest it into something else maybe real estate?

I hope he is responsible enough to take care of his winnings I have seen so many people turning their lives miserable because they cannot handle big money, they live a life of luxury until they cannot keep up anymore, the winner should undergo courses on how to manage their finances and how to set up and handle business, this is important for those who just turn themselves into instant millionaire.

He should be very careful and learn wise spending of the $1B mega million jackpot because even a billion jackpot if not handled carefully and spending it wisely will be easily lost. I have known some of the lucky winners of lottery here in our country which won a hundred million but due to mishandling of their money and wealth they ended up broke and lost it all at once. That is why it is advisable that when win a huge amount of money its a must to have a financial advisor so that you may have your idea where would you put your money in case.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 28, 2021, 12:37:15 PM
And the best thing to do for a casino or lottery is they should know first about the winner, if he's healthy, old, or have a disease that could be trigger when they announce the winner out of the blue without proper notice. For old people, it always work if you're not going straight to the point, let them slowly absorb the good news or bad news.

It's like you are blaming the casino or the lottery for someone who died because of their luck hitting the jackpot. It's not that I blame the winner but if you confirmed that you win the jackpot you should control yourself from too much excitement. Your heart is pumping so fast that you can't breathe properly. Do things that can help to release that amount of excitement. Some people died from a heart attack because the moment they found out that they win they think too much that their brain and heart can't function properly.

What happened was totally an accident and it is a natural cause of death which no one wants for that thing to happened. For me, we couldn't blame each side a winner or a casino or a lottery because its an accident. However, the responsibility of properly announcing the winner would come to the casino or lottery and i guess their lottery outlets has the list of the name, age and gender of the bettors and in case the old man win, they should call his attention in a natural way which may not trigger his illness.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 18, 2021, 03:25:20 PM
Ity's already given that Manny Pacquiao will beat and maul McGregor, but what people wants to see now is how much beating McGregor is going to get, since this is boxing and he has the worse style in boxing, the big proof is his match against Mayweather, but if it's an open style that's will generate greater interest, because Pacquiao will be in a different world of fighting

As a bettor i would also definitely place my bet for Manny Pacquiao against Conor McGregor. Though i do believe in both player's capability and ability to give aundience and fans of boxing game a good fight to watch for but i have still a strong guts that if ever these game may push through there is no doubt that Manny Pacquiao will going to dominant the game. However as i have said, lets is not just give tims that have been stepped out after they have finished the studies or somewhat.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: January 18, 2021, 02:12:36 PM
Never going to happen imo, they’re smaller, weaker, slower, just not going to happen imo.
Yeah, "women are equal of men" and similar feminine things are getting really terrible. There is nothing wrong with things like men and women both have to take care of their children, women are as good in math and technical subjects as men, etc... But women into a squad where men play is a terrible idea.

Just imagine when women play football in men's team and also imagine that in the opponent team squad includes Ramos, Pepe and other rough players. Women can't be physically as good as men, they just don't have similar possibilities in this aspect. Well, if steroids will be legal for women in sports, then maybe they should compete.

No doubt that women had already proven that they can do whatever men can also do. We are now practicing an equal treatment, no descrimination and in fact women today are already powerful which already holds a position in politics and run a country with the power of running country successfully. And there is no doubt that even in the world of sports women didn't fet out of the list. So there's totally nothing wrong with allowing women to play in senior men's team, and I guess Netherlands should be recognize about this thing.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: January 17, 2021, 09:58:28 PM
I already sold out all my Bitcoins, and other crypto.

I don't want to risk. i would buy Bitcoin again when it visits $6000 again, maybe next year.

What about you?
I also sold bitcoins when it cost $ 20k. I will not buy at a high price, I enjoy the results of selling my bitcoin and right now I am waiting for the price of bitcoin to decrease and I will buy when the price of bitcoin can be below $ 20k
for me, as long as you happy with your profit you may sell it anytime that you want, it doesn't matter. I will try to buy it once it will dip again and hold it for as long as I can do, maybe this year it will go down maybe not too much but I will try to buy some when it reaches 22k or 20k this year or maybe 16k if ever, it will all depends on the chart that we are using, so right now I am building my portfolio and trying to gain more so that when the right time comes, I will have money to buy.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 17, 2021, 04:26:55 PM
Is cheating in gambling allowed?

There should be persecuted for cheat and others who have same intentions will learn their lesson. If it continues then he gambling system will be messed up .

Of course it's not allowed, that's why all those names that OP mentioned exist, because they have been caught cheating.

These people are just a very small percentage of gamblers, and it's not like 5-10% of gamblers can cheat casino systems or something, I'd say it could be around 0.001% or even less percentage of gamblers could be cheating somehow and manage to make stable profit out of it, so it's in no way an easy task that anyone can do specially with these new casinos that have many people assigned to find bugs or errors in the system before they start accepting customers.

By reading the exchanging of ideas and thoughts about these issue, which we have a different and individual opinions about it and we are all in one thought of giving a highlight that cheating is not allowed even in different aspects of our life, cheating is cheating and it is never became a good thing to do but we do also give those gambler who manage to beat casino through cheating a benefit of the doubt because we do understand the possible needs of that person why they did that.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 17, 2021, 08:58:26 AM
This is just only for entertainment , if Pacman will get serious about the fight I think Connor will be retiring on both sports and just focus on his liquor business, Connor should focus on MMA, his skills are for that game and not boxing, although he earns money from doing that, it will be just a waste if you will not use skills given by God for that game, Pacman, on the other hand, should retire after few fights now,  he already proves he's one of the greatest.
Indeed. Both Manny Pacquiao and Connor McGreggor are doing this for entertainment. They already know that they are great fighters in their young and adult days, so I think they don't need to come up with a fight and focus on a retirement career. But this fight is exciting, that many people cannot wait for them to see them fight.
Both can still fight though, although they are semi-retired, they are willing to do one last dance for the sake of money. Conor needs to win next week, then we can talk about this fight after that. I thought that Manny Pacquaio is not interested, but recently a lot of noise in the media is coming out, I'm a bit disappointed though to Manny if he accepted, because he is just following Floyd's footstep now, no serious boxing, but accepting fights for pure entertainment and money.

Both teams are wanted to win the game and they have also their own reasons why. Which maybe a good reason for this fight to come was to give entertainment and good fight to the boxing fans and viewers. But i am thinking that Manny Pacquiao were too advantageous to think of fighting McGreggor due to Pacquiao was already a decade boxer compare to McGreggor.  Well i'd still bet that if these game might push through will definitely a good game to watch for.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 15, 2021, 05:28:21 PM
I don’t know who needs to see this but hey it’s finally over as Biden has officially won, and now your sports book can no longer hide or make any excuses about not releasing your payment if you had wagered on Biden. It’s been a long stressful waiting period for you’ll, but now make sure that you’re paid, or post here if the casinos don’t pay so we all can know that they’re a scam site, and we all can then stay away from them.

Source:

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/congress-begin-electoral-vote-count-amid-protests-inside-outside-capitol-n1253013
My question is, once the official results come out is it still possible for the sportsbook not to immediately credit the balance to the winners? I think it's impossible for them to again making excuses by not credited the payments, especially if it's a legit sportsbook. Finally congratulation for who bet on Biden long wait but if bet with huge amount then the result will good to.

And since the official result were already announced and come out in public there is no reason for the sportsbook to delay the payouts of the winner. There is no reason for such waiting a result, that the tally or election voting counts were contested by the opponents team or whatsoever. And hence these issue was been talking about for about 2 months or more i guess. And it already too long enough for winners to wait and since it already proven that Joe Biden win those winners are deserve to be rewarded by what they have paid for.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 15, 2021, 04:43:25 PM
Gamblers find it hard to stay within control. Whenever one keeps winning, the emotion automatically push the user to go for higher roll. One in ten take the profit and give a break without looking for big profit out of greed. Emotions are part of human life, but with gambling this easily goes out of control ending in massive loss.
Unless a gambler is very disciplined and knows very well why he is gambling then it can be very hard to stop playing when you are winning, most of the time you are going to be losing money at the casino and we know that is simply the way things are but when you begin to win instead of thinking that it was just matter of time the inexperienced gambler suddenly begins to think that he is hot that night and that luck is on his side, which is why we see many stories of people that began the night winning some money only to lose a substantial amount at the end of it.
Not only those who win will continue to gamble because of the impulse of emotion, because at least those who lose streak will continue to bet as long as they have the money available. One of the things that will make them stop is a plan or maybe with self-awareness, with you having a plan and self-awareness it will ignore the emotions that exist. So yes, make your gambling days good because we shouldn't spend a lot of money for a year on gambling just to lose, at least we have to have a winning record that will make our gambling history better.

Exactly mate that is what triggers most to the gambler to continue playing or gambling because as long as they have a money on their pouch or pocket that they know they can willing to take risk to lose yhen they wouldn't stop playing or gambling. It is not bad anyway as long as that person have already budgetted of how much he/she willing to lose or willing to risk and as long as he/she didn't sacrifice any of his/her properties for the sake of gambling then it shouldn't be an issue for this.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 15, 2021, 04:00:17 PM
Gamblers are likely to gamble with the proceeds. It would be better to keep it, but yes, gambling is still tempting.

We are not required to gamble here, we can keep our earning if we want, but if we are here because of gambling, most likely we will use the opportunity to gamble using our earning from signature campaign as you cannot just easily resist the temptation. Well, as long as you know how to manage your earning properly, I think it's not a problem, if you lose that earning and okay with you, then there's nothing to worry or regret here.

Everyone has their own choices of where they would going to spend their profits from signature campaign, and it is not mandatory that we should gamble or join gambling to be able to meet the requirement of spending. We do have our own kind of needs that should be meet in our daily lives. But we do also have our freedom to enjoy or use our earned profit to entertain ourselves and enjoy what we have earned in our own ways. No judgements and no if's, because profit can be earned again but the happiness that we can give to ourselves was priceless, we should only be responsible and wise to our actions so we may nor regret to the possible outcomes.
251  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: January 14, 2021, 12:37:48 PM
For me this is the time where i couldn't afford to lose even a single bitcoin for the sake of gambling. I would prefer to save it and hodl my bitcoin as much as the bitcoin market didn't yet settle and as i am expecting it will continue to go up its value to a higher than how much its value today. And it is a right decision i guess that we would use altcoins for transactions for the mean time till the market was in bullish state.

I prefer to stop gamble for a while and hold my bitcoin as you. I feel that the bitcoin price can be up to any higher price. But I miss my time to gamble, and maybe I will gamble again in the other days when I want to gamble. I think the fee will be up and down too following the bitcoin price, and we have many choices to withdraw, and not just use bitcoin to withdraw the money. The altcoins can be a good alternative to gamble and make a transaction for withdrawing.

Even knowing that bitcoin price now has dumped from $41000 to $33000 these value was still a high value that should be treasured and worth to keep in the hard wallet. For me, i am taking my bitcoin seriously keep at my hard wallet and making it in the last option to uswd in case of emergency. And yes i did altcoins to alternative paying bills or paying in gambling or any transactions than taking risks my bitcoin. There's no doubt that bitcoin withdrawal fees may also follow the market pattern of bitcoin (pumping and dumping at the same time).
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [CHALLENGE] Can I go from $100 to $80000 in 2021 (+80000% Growth) ?! 😲 on: January 13, 2021, 11:32:58 PM

I totally get your fear/intrigue, but I've tried a lot of different strategies over my 4-5 years of day trading, and this is what have worked best for me. I will explain the math behind this decision in future videos as well. Let me ask you, did you watch the video?

All the best,
Joel
Goodluck mate. I personally have my own challenge as well, like you I started this year with 100usd and my target is from 5usd a day to 10usd a day soon but in futures, I will be more patient this year because 2020 gives me a lot of heartbreak from failed defi investment, losses in gambling and being victim by fomo, so from this month onward I need to apply all my lessons this year, well best of luck to both of us mate, see you after 11 months, hope we reach our goal.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: January 13, 2021, 02:49:33 PM
When gambling is illegal there then there is no way for them to collect taxes officially by the government from gambling sites or casinos, Chiese people have strict internet regulations as well, if they found using VPN to bypass regulations then surely there will be huge fine on them that is why many people from China prefers the anonymous currencies so there is no way to track the transactions by the governments and since it is not regulated the government also can't demand the data from any other government.
Some of the chinese people migrate in other countries in asia, in which the protocol and rules for gambling is not so tight and strict, so if they use VPN they can hardly be known, maybe these countries may be at the top who gamble the most but the one who gamble I mean the gambler is not pure and local, I think there will be some foreigners, and I think they are the one who makes that country in the top of the line.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos ordered by IBF on: January 13, 2021, 01:08:13 PM
This should proved a difficult fight for Lopez, Australian boxer's are mostly rugged he might be cheated and get robbed by his throne. Just like what they did to Pacquiao. Perhaps if he can show his dominance in early rounds or atleast score a knockdown, this should be in the bag for him. The record of the challenger is quite impressive in my opinion.
I think Pacman is different from this one I think so we should not compare these two, as far as I know this is from IBF and just like the other said, if they will not consider this fight knowingly that this is what IBF wants them to do, it could be their loss , they will have a problem soon , and I think they don't want it to happen so either they will fight or they will pay, it just sad that there will be no other choice for this one, once IBF is the one who requested, this is only what I know.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 13, 2021, 05:10:58 AM
Sometimes I would just hold it to my wallet till I need the money for something,
But there are times that I would use it for gambling or my online games but most of the time I would just save it or use it in real life matters.
We're both mate. That's what I am doing, I need to save now rather than to play, I need to provide my family needs that's why I used it to buy goods and if there will be a change I will put it in savings, that is because of this pandemic, but when this pandemic ends, I will go back like what I used before, using 1/4 of my salary in gambling, it becomes my hobby and my source of enjoyment before, so whether I lose or win it gives me joy always.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 12, 2021, 03:19:19 PM
Famous YouTuber Logan Paul has thrown a challenge towards the champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. for an exhibition match on Saturday, 20th February 2021. Mayweather Jr. has not backed off rather accepted the challenge of this “super exhibition” match right away. Moreover, the exciting Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul live stream can be watched worldwide on a pay-per-view on Fanmio. https://twitter.com/FMayweatherlive
Maybe Floyd is interested as well that's why he doesn't reject the offer for their exhibition match, as what I can see with Floyd he is just concern to the amount of money that he will be having or will be created once they will gather money by the bettors, so I think he will go for it for the sake of money and also it is good game too as far as I know Logan is a boxert too, am I right?
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 12, 2021, 01:20:27 PM
We might not know how much exactly they win or lose but we have a betting odds for that, and Biden was the favorites during the election, therefore winners only won lower than their bets which is less than 100%.

This is not exactly the betting odds as there are some movements to consider, but we can view this as an estimate.

https://www.actionnetwork.com/politics/2020-election-odds-presidential-race-donald-trump-joe-biden

Yes if they follow this odd maybe they win that game, there are many people who bet on Biden so I think they will split the jackpot into many partitions, in the image you gave, it is clearly that biden has the higher chance to win in that game, given that the difference is kinda far to those people who bet for Trump, and I am sure their sportbooks pays them, the money is not problem at all, website knows to manage prizes of course.

259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason(s) why Bitcoin price dropped on: January 11, 2021, 11:01:48 PM
Are there any news that triggered the Bitcoin price to drop from $41K to $33K as of now (10am EST 1/11/2021)?

Would a 100 BTC sell transaction causes a 1 to 3% drop in BTC price?  What is the price elasticity for BTC?

I don't know the reason but I can think of one, maybe that is because of the on Going correction of the price of it, we all know that when we see a certain coin that is being overbought it will have a correction after all. It is normal in every trade whether it is for stocks, Forex or in crypto. Let us see some indicators if this btc will bounce back after or it will go down continuously and let us meet again after 3yrs kidding aside, I can't even make a precise prediction because I need to see some charts first.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos ordered by IBF on: January 11, 2021, 10:16:15 PM
This will be a tough fight for Teofimo Lopez for sure as they are both undefeated and what is worst, George has more fights compare to Teofimo but Teofimo has an advantage in terms of Title as he will be the one to defend his title against his mandatory opponent.

Not so sure if the odds will be in big favor to Teofimo here even if he is the champ as his opponent has a perfect record also. I am pretty sure that the bookmaker will make a close odds if in case their showdown will happen in Australia.

Yes but I am very sure this is a good one that is also good to be gambled on, but let us wait if on February we can see that their fight will continue this year, we all know that many fights and plans has been canceled due to the pandemic, it can be very hard if they will insist the fight now but yes it is probable, I'm so excited with this one actually they are both famous in their division let's wait who will bring the belt this year of this match will continue since it is requested.
