Can anyone provide a list or a graph of the estimated network hash rates of all alternative cryptocurrencies? Either the current network hash rate or the hash rate over say, the last 3 months?

got link to your post from uncle google as I'm in same need.

Anyone knows the answer?
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 50 Digitalcoins to the smart females on: May 30, 2013, 12:21:43 PM

if you could add to last sentence "..and to consolidate our digital wealth" may sounds more attractive for girls Grin
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: *** WorldCoin Pool Report *** All your WDC Pool Talk Here *** on: May 30, 2013, 12:47:11 AM

We found our first 5 blocks!

Extreme luck?  ...or lower diff? Have made more within the first hour here than I have mining WDC anywhere else.

and how many orphans?

I'm noticing whenever diff on WDC drops below 1, number of orphans increasing till almost 50% -
Which makes it half efficient - means - mining crap...

I'm mining on erundook pool - is it same on others pools?
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: May 29, 2013, 03:51:07 AM
Having busy all machines in home and even two neighbours (mining at the moment 12 different coins) , in desperation started mining on my galaxy note.
It says 31 hash per second. And I'm getting only orphans... What's wrong with this coin?
Dev would you help?

246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] 'foo' and 'bar' coins--a "how-to" guide for cut+paste cryptocurrency on: May 29, 2013, 03:27:17 AM
Thank yu for the wonderful guide, but i need to do something very specific, i'd like to change the algo in use. I'd like to know how to put a totally different algo. your assistance would be greatly appreciated. This coin will be for testing only to see if the algo works as planned maybe i'l release it to the public.

This recipe should be attached to last Jamie Olivier cookbook, is really wonderful - This should faster announcement of AbbaCoin which I was planning to launch this autumn, counting 2-3 months for research, test etc. And now , suddenly all on one plate... Shakezula- you making people lazy...

BTW I would like to ask same question as barwizi did.
How to change algo?
Why to not let people consolidate their digital wealth on coins with SHA256? Wink
Just for any case.

249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I should react when S/B is requesting payment in BTC / LTc... on ebay? on: May 25, 2013, 05:27:23 AM
There's no way you'll get ebay to play nice with bitcoin.

Here's what you can do.

Put some of  your stuff on bitmit, then put a flyer in your ebay packages saying you have stuff on bitmit under username bitcoinuser(whatever your bitmit name is). At the very least, this directs people away from a non-bitcoin friendly site to one that is bitcoin friendly. It also gets people that aren't techies informed about bitcoin.

I know this site,
thx
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I should react when S/B is requesting payment in BTC / LTc... on ebay? on: May 25, 2013, 05:06:17 AM
eBay removed one of my listing after I mentioned Bitcoin has a method of payment.

how exactly you announced that?

Was accepting PayPal payment plus wire and Bitcoin.

What country ebay that was?

What if you admit that:

"I may accept payment in BTC / LTC or any other cryptocoin if requested"?

looking straight forward for lawyers opinion... you bunch of...Wink
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I should react when S/B is requesting payment in BTC / LTc... on ebay? on: May 25, 2013, 05:03:02 AM

As far as being a seller, I don't see that there's any problem there.

May I assume that you received any cryptocoins for anything  what you sold on ebay?

Ebay already supports bitcoin as an option for payments on their Latin America auction site, MercadoLibre, so I don't think they would have a problem with this. As long as the seller advertises that they accept bitcoin, I don't think Ebay would have an issue with using the blockchain as proof either. It would be an especially good idea to get the seller to advertise their receiving address publically on the listing, that way you can easily prove that you sent the payment by proving that you own the sending bitcoin address.

just checked their Venezuelan site and message was like:

No hay publicaciones que coincidan con tu búsqueda.

and for full "bitcoin" query only one auction poped out...
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] USCoin - Here's the change! [USC] on: May 25, 2013, 04:45:37 AM

will paypal try to accuse me of terrorism?
or at least ebay of counterfeiting?

what are your thoughts?

I'm a little confused.  You're the buyer and the seller wants you to pay in BTC/LTC?

Wow - waliuable 180 days longer registered icon is making fun.

No matter if I'm requesting this kind of payment as a Seller or Buyer

Hi John,

nice to see that you invented new coin, but is this possible that on first page we may find more clear information about mining pools if there any or how to mine solo. Maybe very useful for newbies.
Thanks and goodluck
