I'd recommend everyone mine. We need to get the difficulty back down.

Cool. Got em.. thank you!
Where's that mining interface in the qt client from? Is that from Litecoin (don't have that one...)
It's from the original Bitcoin client, back when BTC could be mined with a CPU. Sent to Snail2, BTW.

Sent to dego and Joniskis.

OK. Thanks though. What is diff stranded? Its where a bunch of miners jump on and ratchet the diff up on a coin simply because they think its "worth" mining or " the next big thing." GeoCoins are NOT the next big thing. They have been around for nearly 3 months and were doing just fine without being posted on this board. Although I've made changes to prevent diff stranding, its still a possibility given the army of mindless-miners here so I'll say it again. MINERS have already 4x'd the diff on these. If it goes up high enough I can't mine them with a CPU anymore to bring it back down, I will reset the blockchain and that means everyone's GeoCoins go bye bye. Not every coin needs to be collected by every miner. My 10K per addy still stands though, if you want some, stop rape-mining it and I'll send you a huge chunk. Oh. So if a ton of people rape it, then stop mining, the difficulty is so high a CPU can't find a block so the diff never goes down? Ouch. I'll also take that 10K. GiVKAe8YJvrQemqJpz7TDbH6kexmcvpMYd

Before anyone gets too excited, there were 1 million premined and they are NOT EVER going to go on an exchange so don't start mining them like crazy.
I know! They're absolutely worthless! But they're cool because of puzzle potential and you can attach messages to tx! I'm also currently controlling 100% of the network, with my CPU. You're fine, and I'll kick in 1000 per addy if people *really want them. I'm also mining them with a VPS, they are meant to be easy to mine with the built-in miner, but like all scrypt coins they could be diff stranded if some zealot decides to point uber-MH/s at them, which is why they've NEVER been ANN'd here & why I stress that they are worthless aside from the nerdiness in them. GeoCoins are my personal project to learn more about these coins and most of the innovations are bits I've picked up from the other devs and have made it in to my later coins. Happy coining. I'm also currently controlling 100% of the network, with my CPU. Well, wow. The network hashps is now at 43064511. It was at 5000 earlier. THIS is why they haven't ever been launched here. Please note that if they get diff stranded, I reserve the right to reset the block chain. OK. Thanks for making the coin though. I'm going to put some private keys in a geocache.

GeoCoins are simple, geocaching-themed, virtual “coins” or “tokens.” They are designed to be easy to create, easy to collect and easy to share with your friends! At their most simple, GeoCoins will allow you to send and receive virtual GeoCoins encoded with short personal messages. Overall, they're super cool, and I'd like to spread the word about them. Post your Geocoin address below and I'll send you 10 coins. Download the client here, if you don't have it.Mirrors:GeoCoin-Setup.exe: MEGAgeocoin-qt-2.0.0.0-Mac.zip: MEGA

You need API? I suggest you use Inputs.io for instant payments.
I want to be able to send/ receive automatic payments. Will this work? I'll have a look. Ehh. Kind of. I personally don't recommend it as it primarily works off-the-chain. It would require all of your customers to have an account at inputs.io. This is a very small portion of people, so it might prevent people from paying as it forces them to sign up for yet another account.

The text animation on grabhive.com is really obnoxious. Personally, I'd recommend the text fades in one line at a time.

Use MultiBit for Windows, Mac, and Linux Use Bitcoin Wallet for Android on your phone or tablet http://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-walletQuick download. Ready to go. Synchronize with the network in seconds, not hours. Very fast. Electrum is also very good.

Another thing that you may not see as a requirement but actually very much is - it must be web based.
"Talk to me on platform! Compile this binary: github.com/platform/platform" > 75% of people: "talk to me on skype"
The irony here is that skype is not web based.

You can still trade CNC on cryptsy and bter.
I know, but I don't want to open another account.
|
|
|
Actually, you can buy it immediately for 0.02. I just really want to sell this to someone who can use it, since I can't trade it anymore.

Hello. I am willing to sell 210 CNC for very cheap since they have been removed from BTC-E. The bidding starts at 0.01 BTC. You can buy immediately for 0.02.
