241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized way how to earn interest on Bitcoin? on: December 16, 2019, 03:45:52 PM
When it comes about interest and Decentralized, all that comes in mind is https://compound.finance/
They are a decentralized P2P lending platform that works in a decentralized way. They don't accept bitcoins directly but they accept WBTC, a Ethereum token pegged to BTC and Ethereum and other coins.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeChain Foundation buyback address hacked on: December 14, 2019, 04:25:37 PM
Vechain already is a failing project and buyback were the only things keeping the price but with no money for the project to buy back it's tokens, the price crashed.
Hacking of a wallet is not a small issue and the project did made mistakes  not securing the first thing they should.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 13, 2019, 05:33:54 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two of most safe investments. But profit on both are restricted to different factors. Large profit are generally made from new coins but the risk is higher as you can't be sure which one of them would moon. From my experience, it's better to invest in a limited coin that are in actual use like exchange tokens that are cheap in price and has a potential to grow in future.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So are we waiting for Ethereum 2.0 to take full effect in 2030? on: December 13, 2019, 05:24:09 PM
From what I've read Ethereum 2.0 is to be released by 2022 and if no significant problem arises, they should be able to move things to Ethereum 2.0 by than. Still that would not be the ultimate upgrade as more are scheduled as development is a continuous process.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will binance reach $23 as per experts prediction? on: December 12, 2019, 05:37:37 PM
BNB has reached $23 in the past and would surely reach that level again. Binance just needs to bring an IEO one after another and BNB would hit high. But binance is playing safe here choosing IEOs wisely. This also means BNB has a good future ahead. But it's advisable not to put all your money in one coin and specially which is dependent on a website for it's price.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: December 12, 2019, 05:17:42 PM
Hello, I would like to know which projects have really achieved their goals after an ICO/IEO/ITO. Is there a page or statistics about it?
Most of the project claims to have achieved the goals after the ICO. Some even do showcase their products. But the real test of a project comes from what ROI the investors got from their investments. There are just about 10% of projects that have yielded a positive ROI for ICO/IEO investors. The rate is slightly higher for the IEOs.
247  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fav. exchange memory of 2019? on: December 12, 2019, 05:09:56 PM
My personal best was buying BNB at $17 and selling them in $21. Not only did I made a good profit but I also sold it just before the price crash. And now I've invested it on another similar coin which is still increasing in price despite the current market trend.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold backed coins are real?? on: December 11, 2019, 04:51:51 PM
what do you guys have to say about new projects that are backed by real gold? do you know any project that is legit and backed by real life Gold and not scam? any one have information about PGpay project?

Can't say about all. I'd rather say most of them have no credibility at all. For a stablecoin to be backed by gold, they should have a fixed amount of gold locked up in some safe place which are not in total control of themselves. They should audit it with independent auditors and be insured by any real insurance company. Most of them don't satisfy any of these needs.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto trends that happened in 2019 on: December 11, 2019, 04:46:43 PM
Another thing could be the rise of crypto ecosystem. Most of the IOT based projects were a failure but many exchanges built up and ecosystem within themselves or externally making a coin universal for different markets and places. Exchange tokens like BNB are not just limited to the Binance exchange itself but among other exchanges and merchants as well.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hide my money from my country 2 on: December 09, 2019, 04:37:02 PM
Hey guys, I never expected to get so much help this fast. So thank you, I considered every one of your suggestions and decided to save both bitcoin and stablecoins for the benefits of each coin with a hard cold wallet.

So now I need a final advise.
1. For my use, do you recommend to use Trezor or Ledger. I know they both good but I just want to make sure. Is there any deal or coupons?

2. As I understood, when using a hard wallet, I won't have to worry about KYC. So in such situation, will you still recommend me to use the DAI coin? or the others that more trusted and reliable like USDC, PAX..

Thanks again.

DAI is arguably more reliable that USDC or PAX. If you really want a decentralizaion, you could buy a number of crypto rather than a stable coin as most of the coins are cheap today and are highly likely to increase in price in the future.
251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Bitcoin or not on: December 09, 2019, 04:28:46 PM
Bitcoin is for everyone and $5K is a good capital to start with. Link your bank with some trusted exchange or meet some local dealers to get your first share of bitcoins.
Bitcoin is a rare asset the early you buy, the best price you get. As time progresses, it would become more costly.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty is over? Shut up! on: December 09, 2019, 02:19:54 AM
If you are lucky enough, you'll be able to get some good profit from the bounty you join but again not every bounty that yields good profit are a good coins to hold while some that may not seem much profitable could be one of the best for long term.
Sometimes people knows what's going to be a good project and everyone just indulges on it decreasing the individual gains through bounty stakes.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hide my money from my country on: December 08, 2019, 05:48:38 PM
DAI is a USD stable coin that won't ask you for documentation.
It's a decentralized stable coin and can be store in a safe private wallet and access it only when you are in a favourable place.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 07, 2019, 11:35:11 PM
That's a marketing strategy. It's users who should be cautious about what they are doing and should learn more about what they are saying.
A seller would want to sell as much and make as much people advertise for itself. Users should choose what suits than and research about individual project they are advertising for and make a decision.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: December 07, 2019, 02:33:49 AM
$9 is small to start with. But you can use it to buy some cheap and promising coin that could increase in value in the future. It's a much better option than gambling. You can also change it to BTC or USD to earn about 5% yearly interest.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 06, 2019, 04:24:04 PM
P2PB2B are a shady exchange and the IEO listed there are the same. LA token and P2PB2B are said to have lowest fees for issuing an IEO among the popular exchange. All they ask is money and you even can list your token for the IEO at any price.
Such IEO platforms should be avoided.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts with no liquidity on exchanges on: December 06, 2019, 02:45:13 PM
Daily volume comes from total transactions that happened on the exchange, and the transaction itself comes from liquidity. If the token or the coin has a big daily volume but they do not have liquidity that means they were using a fake volume to boost their ranking.
No liquidity = No demand.
Is it worth to invest in it? personally I do not think so, but that is my choice. You might have a different opinion about it.

But it would be difficult to be sure about it as people might be withdrawing it. For example no one would put a stacking coin in an exchange that does not provide the staking reward. But mostly they are the fake volume coins being bought and sold just to increase the trading volume so that they could come in spotlight.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Frozing Funds from Hacked Exchanges on: December 06, 2019, 02:27:37 PM
There's no exact explanation for that but it depends on the nature and extent of hack. Funds are frozen so that they could investigate the scenario and the seriousness and possibly stop any withdrawal the hackers have not yet done. Exchanges keep large portion of their funds on cold wallet and they are mostly able to mitigate the loss due to hack by themselves without affecting the user balance.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days? on: December 03, 2019, 10:57:57 PM
The market is down right now and it's been for a couple of years now. So there are a lot of promising coins undervalued.
NEO, Stellar and NEM are the coins most undervalued among the top coins. They are having many achievements in the time being but there price has failed to reflect the development. EOS had a spectacular rise earlier but it is also not being able to repeat its growth in price compared to the growth of its use.
