Noticed it also. I guess something got screwed in the settings or google changed something for new files. My colleague will try to fix that and if it doesn't work we can always publish questions on forum or something to make it easier for you guys.

Will do something about it before next round.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Pool | Euro 2024 ⚽ Discussion Thread on: August 07, 2024, 07:48:37 PM
Well. Looks like Sojo/buway is going to be playing FPL once more. I'm playing in everything else, so why not here too right? More reason for everyone else to join, as I am likely to continue in the direction of "don't know what I'm doing". Heh.

Careful, boys. The age of Nunez is arriving. #brokenrecords
Surprise, surprise, I knew you will find your way here again. There is no cure for Fantasy bug once you get bitten.

Still didn't make a single draft. Usually, at this time, I am already on my 10th iteration. Don't know if that is good or bad. I guess time will tell.
244  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Sport i Kladionica on: August 07, 2024, 07:44:55 PM

Sta kazu lokalni kladionicari?

Good news everyone. Hope someone gets that reference, just watched Deadpool so I am in the mood for that stuff Smiley

We scored a bit more money from Sportsbet sponsorship. We should get round 40mBTC which comes at about 2200$ at the moment. Not gonna change the OP until I actually have them on the wallet but wanted to share here. This recent dip also worked in our favor.

Edit: I will send the next bunch of invitations on the weekend probably. Still plenty of time left and it is for me to process transactions in bulk Smiley And of course all this goes for Serie A as well.

..do the results got in one round carry over to the other when it comes to LMS??
Thought each round resets count and anybody can get eliminated if one scores the lowest ??
You are right, anyone can get eliminated at each round.

Previous rounds results do not carry on to the next round, but it adds to the total point tally which determines the winner at the end. Whatever your position in the total point table, if a player scores 2 points or less in a round they get eliminated, if everyone scores 3 and above those with the lowest points will get eliminated.

If you buy back in, you total point tally is retained.

- Jay -
Correct from un_rank but just confirming it so you know it is "official". Total points are added each round and the winner be the one with the most points when Round 15 is over. Each round you can get eliminated and if you are you can buy back before the next deadline. Buybacks are very cheap at the moment, 0.25mBTC which came at about 14$ when vd309 used that option. He is the only eliminated player who has bought back and I am a bit surprised more didn't do so.

Buybacks will get more expensive as we draw to the finish line but you have all that in the OP.

I have no idea what those are. Tried Googling it, didn't get anything meaningful.
I think he meant "security policy", not society policy.

yeh, 👍🏾 thanks for the correction 😉.  I meant security policy!

Quick one @cryptofrka and trofo. I  just saw that the tennis Canada finals will be on Monday, correct me if I'm wrong but then, what will happen to tennis question if it's extends beyond Sunday.  Supposedly sinner lost or  lose 2 matches  before semifinals on Sunday against those that answered 3 or more lost, when the tonnament didn't end on Sunday.
If it comes to that we will wait until Monday to grade. I still think it will finish late on Sunday but didn't actually check the times now.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: August 06, 2024, 05:08:35 PM
@Trofo, are you willing to change the questions in the pool?
La Liga will start a new season in mid-August, so this season should be 2024-2025. It might also be a good idea to consider starting a new thread, fresher thread since this one has turned into a megathread. Locking this one up and starting fresh is my advice, but the decision is yours.

What do you think, @Trofo?

By the way, I know the thread title is correct.

I did all that a couple of days ago, I just forgot to change title in the poll. Fixed now

Julian Alvarez going to ATM for €95m oh God how did they manage to pull that out? Julian Alvarez is good but he's a €65-70m max player. Sad we're watching Alvarez and Gallagher go to ATM while we're getting their bum Samu Omorodion for Ł35m. No more Osimhen then ... I hate this football club right now... No single ambition
Yeah, you guys are signing another mediocre youngster on another 6 year deal. Almost like the goal is breeding players not playing football  Grin

I am really puzzled at Manchester City's reluctance in the transfer market, I would have thought the plan was to keep the squad as it is and build on that with the youngsters, but players have gotten older and now they sell Alvarez who featured in more matches for them last season than almost everyone else in the team.

Great ROI on Alvarez, their net spend will be much lower now. All the talk of using money to win the league will have to get silenced some more, not that I ever agreed with it.

- Jay -
Pep never guarantees minutes to the players and Alvarez got sick and tired of waiting to be a star for the club and decide to try his luck elsewhere. Too bad, I think he would get more and more minutes on KDB place at least.

This one is sponsored by team notblox1. If you want to see your name more I am accepting donations  Grin

Just kidding of course, feel a bit stupid about having to explain stuff like that but humor and especially sarcasm often flies over people heads on this forum.

Can you please make readable 1st round because I can't see my answers? Somebody didn't deactivate filter Grin
Cryptofrka tinkering with something I guess. Will take care of it when I get home if he doesn't do it before.

Anyway this comment was very lucrative for you. You will get 1mBTC free bet next Monday for writing up the 10.000 comment in this thread. Was agreed just yesterday with Steve from Sportsbet as a surprise bonus.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 05, 2024, 06:09:48 PM
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Football clubs tend to have a load of players on the books from an early age as many won't ever make the grade or be good enough for the first team. For every Messi and Ronaldo they manage to develop there are hundreds if not thousands who don't live up to expectations or get injured etc. They spend a lot on developing them so instead of just sitting on the bench or playing in the B-Team they go and get some real world experience and it's a good tester for the original club to see who's going to be good enough.

It further divides the gap between the rich and the poor. There's no real way to protect young players, and these top clubs poach youngsters that are 15-16 years old, even younger.
Then they cannot give them playing time, so they loan them out.

A player from, let's say, Preston is a huge potential in 14-yo categories. Preston has no way to keep him, although they had him since he was 5 years old. Let's say Arsenal got him, the case goes to tribunal, Preston gets pennies (few million tops).
Otherwise, the player would have played for Preston aged 16. Now he's in Arsenal, he can't, so he goes to 3 loans until he's 21 years old. After that he almost always gets sold for profit and his base club gets nothing.

The system is shitty and needs to be changed, otherwise let's just speed it all up and have no money limit Superleagues.
That is what the free market gets you.

Do you remember how it was in Yugoslavia? Players couldn't leave our local league before they were 28 years old.
Something like that will never happen again but some limits should be in place. Or mandatory contracts that club that had player in their ranks for more than 4 years or whatever get a percentage of each subsequent transfer.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CRO2TEAM FOR REACHING THE 500 PAGES !!!

And also congratulations to us Tongue who takes part on it and take aprt as the big family of BSFL.
Nice of you to point out to this great milestone. BSFL really kicked into the gear even better than we hoped for. Soon we will get 10k replies in the thread as well. This will be the season for milestones it seems.

You guys are part of the history.

Edit:
The tables are updated in the OP, so check them out. Now we should be 100% set for Season 5 with all the bells and whistles we can provide.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: August 05, 2024, 12:11:43 PM
Something like that. Eventually it would be up to you and Trofo to make sure that you stay on the right side of the fine line between trick and justified confusion.

It's a nice to have in my opinion, but would probably cause a lot of discussions if someone doesn't catch it in the middle of the thread here.
The problem is nobody is reading the OP on a regular basis. We update it every week with results and maybe every few weeks with some minor rules like these that you just mentioned. If you are playing BSFL from day 1, I am quite sure you are never looking at the first post where all those rules are stated. Maybe some of you glimpse promotion/relegation tables and rewards but that is about it.

I respond to inquiries in this thread and in my chat with quotes from the OP almost on weekly basis. I see it same as T&C in bookies, nobody reads them until the decision goes against their favorable outcome  Grin Still important to have it to back us up just in those situations.

I like the idea of picking new teams every time, but maybe as cryptofrka says a lot of work. Should we do it every month? Easier to manage. Picking same team throughout is too boring.
Too much work for me. All those teams will have different amounts of matches in a month. And then you have to take into account all the opponents, form, home/away and who knows what to play it seriously.

Even one-quarter of the teams on offer would still be too much for me. I hate to skip on any paid competitions on bitcointalk but really don't know how to manage this one.

What a crazy game, i was not following it at all because i know i lose the poin on that question, but damn what a rain of goals.

I win my game in this round with a super game also 6-5 against Harkorede, super game.
It was an interesting first round in BSFL for sure. There was quite a few questions that gathered a lot of interest around them. I know I would never have watched 800m freestyle for women if there wasn't BSFL.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: August 04, 2024, 06:08:33 PM
^ Rules? What rules haha. Sent PM to the other two (sorry about that).

Has Serie A always been the smallest pool? I always assumed the same players in both La Liga / Serie A. It actually makes more sense if La Liga has more, given so many Spanish-speaking people on the forum.
Traditionally we have a couple of players less in Serie A than in La liga. Been like that every season so far. Some of the old ones that played only La Liga join here but then we get some newcomers for La Liga only. Enchanted circle  Grin
