Just to warn you guys out...

there are a lot of lurkers in this forum...

(from what I remember)

When people posting screenshots like this when their avalon was on delivery...

there was a guy who got his avalon miner stolen... coz he gave way too much information... of his address and what miner he is using... I think he added that he lived in a city where it was one of the safest city in the STATE...

so yeah... be careful posting your data...

you never know who see's them...

I agree and remember seeing that thread. They broke into his house and stole only his avalon miners.

247  Local / India / Re: Meetup at Leela Palace - Bill paid with Bitcoin :) on: September 01, 2013, 06:39:18 PM
A long standing dream of mine was finally witnessed today, as Dashingriddler covered the meetup bill with his shiny VISA card from Bitcurex. That was one of the first Bitcoin transactions in a reputed place. Although it was through VISA, this is definitely on the milestone map for us in India.

Awesome.! How does that bitcurex visa card work.?
Can we fund bitstamp using that.? Can anyone point me to the post / thread where i can get more info.

Thanks,

250  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Buying BTC for INR on: August 31, 2013, 03:51:28 PM
I recommend everyone to use escrow.

Again, am always buying and selling at less than mtgox rates.
You can email me at americandesi4btc @ gmail.com
251  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [50 BTC available] Buy / Sell BTC's - Regular Exchange on: August 31, 2013, 12:26:52 PM
Just finished another transaction with Dewlance.
Escrow through Benson. Had some hiccups with the seller's btc client not syncing with the network.

But he was responsive all through and made sure he got that issue resolved. I made payment through IMPS since NEFT didnot work. (not sure why)

+1 for both Dewlance and Benson.
252  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Want to export USBs and Blades to India. on: August 30, 2013, 10:25:21 PM
I would like to sell my USB BE and Blades to India but not sure what I should know before doing so? We are located in U.S. Suggestions?

Ping Dashingriddler, he has had some buy requirements.

AFAIK we already have a reseller PinWheel. Don't we.?
btw am an Indian living in USA with Indian Bank account. So i can accept NEFT / Indian Fund transfer.

I had thought of this idea, but the mining requirement for USB's and blades are very little from India.
PM me if you want to team up.
253  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: August 29, 2013, 04:30:42 PM
Thanks to Niko and his team for developing a nice web interface for the rPi controller.

https://megabigpower.com/images/piServer.PNG

also he put up the chainminer code on a github:
https://github.com/bfsb/chainminer

I'd love to see some community effort around improving both the piWeb front end, stratum failover options & chainminer itself...

Awesome. Dave does this come loaded with the August starter kits.?
254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: August 29, 2013, 03:34:28 PM
What mining pools are you guys planning to use?
Suggestions? Recommendations?

depends on you. But i use btcguild.
255  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: August 29, 2013, 12:02:19 PM
So, test has begun? 100TH mine shareholders may expect extra divis?

Tomorrow is the big day unless FedEx lies!  I plan to run all board evaluation earnings into 100TH mine for the shareholders.

+1 for this dave. You are raising the bar for your competitors in regards to ethics and professionalism.
Job well done mate.! I know, retail customers are getting the kits first because of the f-up by the PCB manufacturer instead of 100TH mine.

Am glad that i chose bitfury / megabigpower as against others.
256  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: I am back!!! on: August 29, 2013, 03:01:03 AM
Yup! I am a trusted seller. Have sold over a 1000btc on this forum. Investor in many projects. Plus a lot of bitcoiners know me personally including Benson. So ua, don't have to worry.

Wilson is a pretty girl who wears really tight clothes and no underwear. Loves eating chicken and is not the correct size to be wearing really tight clothes.

@Benson : lol.. btw how do you Wilson doesnot wear underwear..?
huh.. something fishy here.. Is wilson = candy.?
257  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: @Friedcat: A forgotten promise? on: August 28, 2013, 05:08:12 PM
+1 to dogie.
This is a sad day for the people who supported ASICMINER initially. I was part of the B3 auction who paid 50BTC / blade.
They never ROI'ed.

Even with the new price of 3.5Btc per blade for returning customers, these blades don't seem to ROI.
http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/d0775c4b7b

@Friedcat : When you replied to my PM earlier this week, i was expecting something better. You have let us down this time.
So much for taking our chances and vetting on ASICMINER

noone promised ROI within 3 months. that's just your personal assumption. in fact with so many participants how can anyone GUARANTEE roi without opening themselves up to horrible ramifications? you got what you ordered, on time. and you are complaining why? compared to other ASIC purchasers you should be grateful.  what AM has to do is deliver when promised what they promise and that's what they did

Yes. Am not complaining. Am quoting the fact. As you said, we received what we were promised. But so did others who brought USB's at 2.00 BTC and 1 BTC. Then why offer them coupons and not compensate us (blade buyers) who invested many times more than them.

I agree with you and i have been a strong supporter of friedcat all through. Am a shareholder as well and continue to invest in ASICMINER.
But i just wanted to point out the flaw in the pricing strategy being employed offlate.
258  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Block Erupter Blade]Low Price, Limited Quantity on: August 28, 2013, 04:24:29 PM
Can I also remind friedcat about his outstanding promise the community, which is still unfulfilled at the cost of 100s of btcs:

Sorry for the confusion brought.

The lowered price for returning customers is just an option as a favor. Of course we won't treat initial purchasers like this. The compensation/reward we talked about before would be different and more attractive.

Fantastic. Thanks for the clarification Friedcat.
+1. Will look forward to hearing from you with regards to the Compensation / Reward

65 GH/s Erupter Blade mining rig ready for pickup

I have 5 erupter blade’s in hand just recently received for building a new rig for a customer. The customer has ran into financial problems and cannot complete the pending payment immediately. So have decided to sell it.

Speed: Each blade runs at 10GH/s which totals to 50GH/s. It can be safely overclocked with cooling to run at 13GH/s which total to 65GH/s. If you want I can overclock them for you.
Price: 1200/blade which totals to $6,000

 What’s included in this price:
  • I have 2 fans attached to each of the blades, total of 10 fan which are more than enough to keep the blade running cool.
  • I also have a custom build frame for the blade’s, if you want I’ll include it for free.
  • Five 4pin molex connectors for connecting the blades to PSU

 What’s not included:
  • Power supply is not include in this price, but if you want I have a brand new OCZ 750W modular power supply which I can add for additional $90
  • Brand new Netgear 8 Port Gigabit switch with 6 CAT5 cables for additional $80

I’m located around NJ/NY area and I prefer local pickup as the rig is already assembled and I don’t want to take it apart. Also if you want you can test it and see it running.

PM or Post here if you are interested. The rig is available and ready for pick.

Thank you for your interest.

Unfortunately for you mate, friedcat just dropped the price to 3.5 btc per blade.
Willing to buy everything for 15 btc or PM me you last offer.

Let me know if you are interested. btw am from NYC. Local pickup / meetup.
Thanks,
