All Manchester City need is to show their usual performance and play their own game. As long as they manage to do this in both halves there shouldn't be any problem about getting a decent win.

What a come back by Virat Kohli! After November of 2019 today he scored his 28th test century. At one point I was hoping for him to get his double but 183 is still a good score. This pitch was meant for batters like Shubhman Gill, Virat Kohli and Axar Patel. Virat Kohli could have scored his double century if there is someone able to build a partnership and Shreyas Iyer did not come out to bat as he was injured and he should be replaced as well. One thing now I am sure KL Rahul will miss playing test cricket as the new test opener with Rohit will be Shubman Gill. I was expecting a decent lead of 150+ runs by the Indian side. 91 runs lead is just a cake walk for Australian batters. Now everything depends on the Indian bowlers.
KL Rahul got his opportunity to make an impact but he failed to do so in several innings and it is time Shubman Gill takes his place and there are other talented youngers in the dressing room waiting to get an opportunity and the BCCI should give them the preference rather than giving opportunities to out of form players. I think Virat Kohli couldn't score century also due to the pressure of scoring runs fast in the final session. But whatever he made i am pretty satisfied with his performance overall. We all obviously knew he is back in form but with his performance today he has proved the same in test matches as well. Now I am really waiting only for the world cup feeling so much like 2011 just Virat being in place of Sachin this time. I am not taking any hopes from RCB in IPL anyways even though Virat is in form I am completely satisfied with Virat Kohli's performance in this match. He played very well. Kohli collected 186 runs. But he would have been able to score 200 runs if he played completely pressure-free. Even so, his performance was outstanding. With the help of Kohli's excellent batting, India managed to collect 571 runs. Australia will bat today. And unless Australia suffers a nasty batting disaster, the match will be a draw. it is now and staying this low , 19,000 is seems to be the price before the end of 1st quarter and looks staying this for another months . as the Halving come to near at least 2 years , the movement of the market is constantly moving nowadays and I know that this will take another years before stabling once again . I think the halving is just over a year away, we're pretty close to it, but since the economic situation is making things worse and more unpredictable. But that doesn't matter, I believe that even if history doesn't repeat itself, an increase in the price of bitcoin is almost inevitable because, with its increasing popularity, the demand for it will continue to grow, thus increasing the price. |

I liked the 2007 format and it was the only edition which can be called as the "world" cup. There were a total of 16 participants, and all the geographies were represented. But then, this world cup turned out to be a disaster for the ICC, as India and Pakistan both failed to progress from the group stage. And as a result, they reduced the number of participants from 16 to 10 (just to avoid the possibility of India and Pakistan losing to associate teams). And I won't be really surprised in case they further reduce the number of teams to 8 or even 6.
Bermuda is a small island nation with a population of 60,000 or so. Ideally they should have been included in the West Indies team. But similar to the case with Cayman Islands and Bahamas, Bermuda cricket association decided to participate in ICC qualifiers as an associate member rather than as a part of the WICB. And back in 2007, they included David Hemp in the squad and he managed to score a total of 90 runs in 3 matches to give them some sort of respectability (including 76 not out against India).
I agree with you, the number of teams that participated in the 2007 World cup was really good. And that was the only world cup that could be called a "World Cup". But the quality was not maintained in the world cup. In my opinion. A lot of matches had to be played short because of the rain interruption. West Indies have reached 250 runs and trial by 70 runs. Jason Holder have performed well and he's at 80* runs. He needs to score his century. West Indies got all out on 251 runsand all efforts of Jason Holder went in vain as no other player stayed long on crease, now South Africa have lead of 73 runs and till now its clear that South Africa is going to win this test too because of West Indies weak performance. Such a performance was expected from the West Indies team. But South Africa could have collected 400 runs in the first innings. I thought the South African team would collect more than 400. Apart from the first three batsmen of South Africa, I have not seen any player perform better. The South African team lost three wickets for 278 runs, and they lost all wickets for 320 runs. Even then, if they can post a target of more than 350 in the second innings, they will win. If the target is given less than this, South Africa will face problems to win the match. |

I believe it's time that all those who were making noise about PSG being the favourite team to win the champion league because of it new signings, will now have reasons to keep quite and let football decide for itself. So many were predicting base on the side with more star players, but I never had any doubt of the outcome of the match between Bayern and psg cuz I already new experience will play a big role in the match, and in this cause, Bayern is more favoured. The PSG squad was very strong. But the bonding between the players was not good. There was a lot of infighting on the team. Coach Galtier could not stabilize the team. Bayern is a club that should be able to win Augsburg so that they don't disappoint their fans. Playing Augsburg in Bayern's home is a sure victory since Augsburg is a weak team compared to Bayern and it will be easy for Bayern to win the match. I just hope that winning PSG will bring them back to form. They need to be consistent in their matches,in order for them to win the league, though I know that they are the league favourite.

They played 3 matches, and lost all of them (against India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka). And they lost all these matches by big margins - lost to Sri Lanka by 243 runs, lost to India by 257 runs and then went down against Bangladesh by 7 wickets.  2007 world cup was really dumb, especially the final. I mean it had a lot of teams participating. But the problem is the final was not good at all. I believe it was also the best world cup in terms of quality and teams played. Anyway, watching Bermuda in the world cup again is going to be very interesting. I am actually really interested to see the type of players, especially the physicality of the players that Bermuda will play in the world cup. I hope that the physicality of the players is going to be better compared to what it was in 2007. |

After watching today's match between Bangladesh vs England, I thought that England will win this match. However, England could not score more runs by batting first. If England could have scored more than 180 runs today, England team would have had a chance to win. Hasan Mahmud has taken the most wickets in today's match and Nazmul Hossain Shanto has scored the most runs in batting. Bangladesh won for these players.
Winning a match against England in the T20 format is a big achievement for Bangladesh. Bangladesh won this match because of England's bad batting. The way England's two openers started the batting, I thought they could at least give a target of 180 runs. But England's innings stopped at 156 runs due to the batting weakness of the middle order. And it wasn't enough to win. However Bangladeshi batsmen Shanto and Sakib's excellent performances made Bangladesh's win easy. Bangladesh reached the target of victory in just 18 overs. |

For those who are interested in associate cricket: First phase of American section qualifying tournament for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup has been completed. Out of the 5 participants, 3 have advanced to the regional finals: Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Panama. The two teams who couldn't qualify are Argentina and Bahamas. The three top teams will join Canada for the regional finals. The top team from the regional final will qualify for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Asian qualifiers will start shortly.
I am personally interested to see how far Bermuda can go  . Still remember watching Bermuda play in the world cup a long time ago. I honestly do not even remember when was the last time Bermuda played in the world cup. I just remember some really fat players diving to catch the ball . |
