241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT TRUST TO TETHER on: June 29, 2020, 06:13:56 PM
In previous days and month, I keep getting alert from @whale_alert on twitter that another USDT is being minted like $20 million or more, that is a huge amount of money. I have a conversation with fellow crypto enthusiasts, we are talking about USDT. He says they cannot mint unless they have deposited dollar somewhere. The question is do they really have deposited millions of dollars in a particular bank? So, that is what makes USDT suspicious but still, it is the most popular stablecoin.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO on: June 27, 2020, 07:22:55 PM
There are some fraud/scam projects that look genuine, and you need to dig more information about them. Way back 2017-2018 scammers are attending blockchain conferences taking pictures with well-known individuals to promote their project. To minimized being scammed, review whitepaper, social media updates, the team is visible and not just stolen pictures. I only trust new projects that have a reputable partner or launches an IEO on top exchanges.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Building up your reputations as a new bounty manager on: June 27, 2020, 05:07:02 PM
You made some good point here, I believe the manager is also responsible and need to be strict on verifying projects to manage because it will ruin their reputation at the same time they help to spread scam/fraud project which is not good. I guess the best manager in the forum right now is Hhampuz he often manage Signature BTC payment campaigns.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth. When!? on: June 26, 2020, 06:07:39 PM
ETH movement it seems just following bitcoin, not only ETH almost all of the altcoins are depending on Bitcoin movements. When to buy is really up to you. When you believe that the price will increase more in the future any price now will do. But if you are planning to do day trading and not holding for a long term period, better learn to read charts and learn about indicators to increase your chances to make the right decisions. Some people I knew they notice recently if stocks are down crypto are down too, I don't know if it is just coincidence, It has no basis and connection it is just their observation.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's biggest contender? on: June 26, 2020, 05:15:22 PM
I consider BNB (Binance chain) is the ETH's biggest contender right now. They have previously launched their smart contract into their chain and added some features like staking and they have schedule coin burn too. BNB is decreasing its supply while ETH supply keeps increasing because they didn't set a total supply. So I guess BNB has the potential to beat ETH in the future. In addition to that, CZ is keeping the crypto community better for everyone I guess it gains some trust too. Trust is very important like what bitcoin has.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons Why I Prefer a Bitcoin Mobile Wallet on: June 26, 2020, 03:37:07 PM
That is the disadvantage of Hardware wallet if you lost it, goodbye to your coins. It is tiny as Flashdrive if you own a hardware wallet be responsible. We can agree on one thing I prefer mobile wallets too compared to Desktop wallets which you need to synchronize every time when you use it. If you have slow internet, a desktop wallet is a pain in the ass. These hardware wallets are much safer than any wallet of course but I have my own preference. If you lost your phone or is it is broken, it is not the end yet if you save the private keys or passphrase somewhere.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is the EOS BLOCKCHAIN SO FRUSTRATING on: June 23, 2020, 10:10:55 PM
EOS is complicated if you are not used to it. You need enough CPU and ram enable for it to work. Sometimes it annoys me too., When I needed to send a token and then it prompts that I am out of CPU and you can't buy either because it needs CPU when you make a transaction. So the best thing to do if you have friends ask them to buy you a cpu or if you have another wallet use it which is not convenient.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Information about mobile wallet pls on: June 23, 2020, 09:45:37 PM
Any non-custodial wallets will do, The good thing about those wallets is that you have control with your private keys. Some of them are just using passphrase but I found out that those passphrases can be converted on individual private keys which is cool you can find a tool (iancoleman) that converts it online but better do it offline when converting. The famous phrase "your keys your coins" which make sense. The famous crypto .com has created a noncustodial wallet search it on playstore.
249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading Advice on: June 23, 2020, 09:11:36 PM
You are looking for trading signals? I don't recommend to try those services, yeah, maybe they can profit sometimes but it is not guaranteed to be always correct. If you want to really learn trading don't depend on those signals. Also, I prefer trading personally than bots, that bot could be messed up too and it ends up cleaning your balances for worst. There are bunch of courses out there online, You can also learn by searching on google and youtube.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nobody talks about Bitcoin Diamond on: June 23, 2020, 08:39:45 PM
I heard about this coin before but I ignore it, I thought it was left to dust I am not really a fan of bitcoin forks. It seems like it is created for free money. Considering bitcoin progress, I guess someone is trying to make this coin alive to make some profit and there is no any update about this coin. I have checked their roadmap only covers until 2019, no plans for 2020.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Success rate of hodling among top 50 alts. on: June 23, 2020, 07:54:21 PM
If it will have a run almost like bitcoin it is worth it. From 2009 until now it is more than 10 years, the growth of bitcoin is huge, I believe some altcoins can do it too. Yeah, I agree, the top 20 or 10 is a much safer choice right now. It has more chance of recovery after a market crash. Don't ever trust new projects with an unknown reputation. Considering you are planning to hold for 5 years, within those years you need to stick with your plans and not be affected by fuds, if good thing happens and we are having Bullrun sooner it is a good profit for holders.
252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to improve my skills? on: June 23, 2020, 06:36:01 PM
That is good thinking, Yeah, we do really have some category here like bitcoin discussion and altcoin discussion, etc. If you are creating a thread in the future you should not put altcoin topics on bitcoin-related boards they have their own category. To be knowledgeable in those areas I guess reading is the best thing to do, Also, communicate with other members if you have any questions or clarification in mind. To improve your skills just search it on google and youtube it might help, you can find and learn almost everything online now.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oikos a scam project or what??? on: June 23, 2020, 05:57:07 PM
Upon checking their telegram group now, there are people asking about their IEO, but all the admin is saying is "Stay tuned for updates regarding IEO." So basically it is not done yet or maybe they didn't get what target sale they wish for. I am seeing that they will launch another round of  IEO to raise more funds. I know they are saying IEO on Hoo is sold out, but that is not a new trick by projects, I have encountered projects like that a lot before, they are saying that they reach hardcap to spread hype but the truth is they didn't raise a decent amount. About the project itself, it is not unique there is nothing new about it. Extending bounty it means they need more promotion and exposure to attract investors.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cartesi coin future ???? on: June 23, 2020, 05:21:57 PM
A lot is going on with this projects, My comment about the main idea of their projects is pretty unique, On top of that, they are pretty determined and serious about what they are doing given that they can afford to launch an IEO on Binance before and for sure Binance made a review and verification about them. I think this project is good to hold. They have a listing activity that is going on right now check it here https://www.gate.io/poll/votelist/20
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain gambling are ushering in new development opportunities? on: June 23, 2020, 04:56:34 PM
Honestly, I am more confident in playing on gambling Dapps, it is like a DEX which you can log in with your wallets directly, and won't worry about your funds being lost, frozen or something because it is directly stored in your wallet. In tron Network most of the dapps are for gambling I am seeing Wink is more popular but still, some people prefer gambling sites with a good reputation that exists for a long time now.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possibleTrump Will Prohibit Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2020, 02:37:31 PM
I guess he already did it, but he cannot forbid everyone in using bitcoin, it is accessible anywhere as long as there is an internet and people will always find a way. Also, there are big companies using bitcoin in US like coinbase its base are located in San Francisco and many more companies. Banning bitcoin completely is impossible, the government should have done that long time ago if they can but they cannot do anything about it.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 23, 2020, 11:53:22 AM
Yes, this is what I am seeing now, repetitive projects, either scam or not but the majority of them are scams. In the future, I don't think they will exist they will be left to dust. I am sure people will be more knowledgeable about crypto in the future and they will not be fool by scammers easily. I have said this on other thread I am seeing the use cases of altcoins in the future, as utility token of legit and working companies or products when adoption comes.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New Altcoin Exchange running on the Tron Network. on: June 22, 2020, 05:51:52 PM
Since it requires  TronLink or TronWallet to login with this exchange, so it is a DEX running on Tron Network? Like Uniswap on Ethereum network they need metamask. I haven't tried it yet but I visit the website, the interface and graphics looks user friendly. How about the fees of this exchange? Where can we find the team of this exchange, it seems I can't find it.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: June 22, 2020, 12:12:36 PM
Yeah, It is better to have your own knowledge and not depending on someone's signal. Maybe they can profit on some signals but it is different when you do it on your own. Those signals are not consistent they could mess up, they are just traders too not fortune tellers. Being independent is a great thing especially on trading. Beware of fake trading groups for me it is better to avoid it.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CZ and Coinmarketcap on: June 22, 2020, 11:27:10 AM
I just hope this rule will make coinmarketcap better at seeing the volume in some exchanges and some exchanges with fake volumes will be removed from there immediately.
Coinmarketcap is more realistic now, they are slowly correcting those fake volumes, As you can see volume is not the only basis now they have added  Web Traffic Factor and Average Liquidity which is more precise basis on which exchanges has real users. By adding Web traffic they can easily identify which exchanges used bots to generates fake volume. CZ is doing great, At first, I thought acquiring CMC does not benefit binance but I was wrong it does not only benefit binance but it benefits all of us crypto enthusiasts by having more realistic data.
