241  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Art record! 69M for a Beeple on: March 13, 2021, 01:28:26 PM
the pic looks blurry so i open it in new tab but it was still unclear . i dont know what kind of art was that and why it was sold that high but i think that was normal for an nft because even others sells more weird things that arent consider to be an art anymore .

i notice that most nft that are sold are expensive , this nft is not for us poor but thats okay because poor dont like to collect stuffs hehe
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stable coin when selling crypto? on: March 13, 2021, 12:01:05 PM
i use usdt and i think usdt is also the most prefer by the masses but not all times i convert my crypto to a stable coin before withdrawing them because that will only tax me some fees  but if your not planning to withdraw and use the money imediately it was always a good strategy to use a stable coin to preserve something from your efforts than all those efforts will go to waste because of the unexpected dip . on the other hand i think there is no real harm of using a different variant of stable coin because both of them serve the same purpose
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened with Dogecoin faucets? on: March 13, 2021, 07:45:43 AM
Not only you, I sometimes still play the faucet when I'm free,
If my assumption is why so many Dogecoin faucets are closed, the simple reason is that the Dogecoin price go to the moon,
Many faucet developers about Dogecoin are closed because they hold tens of millions of Dogecoins, but some are forced to close because of bankruptcy, because Dogecoin is expensive they are forced to close faucets and may be looking for ideas to open other faucets with different coins.
we all used a faucet but most of us use a faucet when we are bored due to how unprofitable it was but i dont get why dogecoinfaucet were closing because if we look at btc value it also trippled and yet there are still many btc faucet are alive but what they do is they reduced the reward per claim. didnt the doge faucet owners think of that ? its impossible for them to get bankrupt because they can always monetize the faucet site and even before the claims for faucets were already adjusted according the value of cryptos .
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: March 13, 2021, 06:59:50 AM

bitcoin is for all not just for the hodlers  .

a non hodler bitcoiner do spend his btc for a short period of time but this dont qualify himself as a weak handed person because he was out of the hodlers circle but if you clasify your self as a btc hodler then you must promise that you will not spend early because it was a big sin on the brotherhood  if you will not follow the golden rule which is to hodl strong  .
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 13, 2021, 05:32:18 AM
I think almost all of the gambling site does it at their early stage to attract gamblers.
It wouldn't matter if it wouldn't affect their real gamblers bet if it wouldn't be rigged.
I think some of the old gambling site also have those fake bets or bots that keep on playing along with real gamblers to make it look that there are plenty of players.

old casinos already has lots of players so no need to put bots . putting bots does do more harm than just make their site lively because if there are competitions like roll hunting , waggering race , etc .

they can fuel thier bots with unlimited balances so that they can secure their own sites prizes . its ruining the experience of legit gamblers , this is why i sometimes dont bother to participate in gambling competition because i know that its hard to win
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is this scam? on: March 12, 2021, 09:16:16 AM
if they already featured in the news thats noice but what info did you hear in that news . did that news tells you to stay away from this coin because it was a scam or they only say positive things ? and its normal for every projects to not get often featured in the news even the good ones  . on which website you see they have a conflict ? i dont think its on thier own site because no project owner will destroy themselves  .

i try to find a review to help you but this is the only review that i found https://www.coinbureau.com/review/elrond-erd/  . they have a detailed review but in the end i think thier final comment to this project was a bit confused or unsure
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Big test for Bitcoin during the next Economic Collapse. on: March 12, 2021, 07:51:07 AM
those that who use a bitcoin can answer the question if btc is only for speculation or not . im a btc user and for me btc is pretty useful and not just a mere speculative thing  . bitcoin did crash before but just like an economy that can recover btc does aswell  . not all are going to run for btc and if ever there are , not all are using btc as a store of value . covid is not the first pandemic that shake the planet and it wasnt the first time for a country to print much cash , satoshi already experience that thats why he maybe built btc to solve that .
248  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.SatoshiSaves.com - Exchange between/inside bitcoin gambling sites. on: March 12, 2021, 06:53:25 AM
This is quite interesting, but there is already a similar service called CryptoGamblersPub, have you heard of that?

If yes, then how exactly are you planning on differentiating yourself from their services?

its not interesting anymore then if they are not the first to introduce this kind of service . i was also going to comment cryptogamblerspub but i was late a bit to comment in this thread .

their difference is obviously the name of the site which is satoshisaves  but its name complement in thier service because they have a lesser fee than cryptogamblerspub and another difference is that they support gambling sites that you cant find in the simillar competitor . in cryptogamblerspub they only support primedice , stake and windice .
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 12, 2021, 06:10:41 AM
i thought that the phrase " Change my mind " made you realize that you are wrong from abandoning btc and switching to alts ? but is that really is or i only misunderstood it but if you switch on eth because you think that eth offers cheaper fees ( which was true before but not now ) your going to have a regret   .

I had to find a way to use cryptocurrencies while allowing me to pay a cheaper price for my payments. In other words, I still have my BTC but they're kinda useless besides moving money without caring whether they're going to be confirmed today or within a month.
having btc in an idle state doesnt make them useless because they are growing in value but if you think they are then you better trade them all for alts because most alts still have that cheap fees that you like .
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its a bull trap now on: March 12, 2021, 05:26:54 AM
i think that bull trap now already existed and can happen to altcoins only but for btc , i dont think a bull trap is relevant anymore but what is always present in btc are bull run  .

because its been a long time and i never see btc to drop below 41k usd but thanks for giving a heads up @op may this  posts serve as a warning to all altcoin investors that not all times they can profit in altcoins but they should also watch out for signals/signs before it gets them .
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Did you earn or get any good money form airdrops? on: March 12, 2021, 04:37:13 AM
i think that all of us that here in the crypto space did already earned a good money in airdrop but not now at this point because airdrops are like a typical crypto market , they do also have thier own bullish and bearish times and id say that its been a long time since we experience a bearish time in terms of airdrop but lets dont stop believin . maybe airdrops now where like an altcoin too where people keeps on asking if there will be another new altcoin season and thankfuly it was finaly given after a very long time
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 12, 2021, 03:58:04 AM
I personally believe that huge losses are caused by people lacking the self-control needed to mitigate these losses. It's always guaranteed that when you gamble, at some point you will incur losses, and it is up to you the gambler, on how you will act about it. Wise and responsible gamblers will think twice about gambling more, not because they are cowards, but because they know they can only gamble money that they can afford to lose.
Yes, huge losses are because people lose control of themselves and do not enjoy gambling as entertainment. If they always remember that gambling is part of how to enjoy this life,
gambling is like a society . there are rich and poor so if you are rich you can gamble huge sums and you can loose this sums if you are in badluck but this dont mean you dont have a self control of course because you can stop the moment you lost all that huge capital you prepare . when it comes to enjoyment we also have different enjoyment because some are poor but they enjoy gambling if they bet huge amount . lastly there are people that they feel they are weak if they cant bet huge or limit them selves in gambling
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling turism & Macau on: March 12, 2021, 03:11:05 AM
with the pandemic on going, that has likely resulted to massive changes with the way people gamble and now the competition would be not by country but possibly by website or app, as many gambling platforms started making this online.
the competition are still the same and it can still be by country despite of the owners moving online because when we visit or play on an online casino our location can be recorded  .

they will know if what country a gambler is playing , they can tally this all for future purposes and will be used if there will be survey conducted pertaining into online gambling but what you are saying is also possible , they can also do a survey if which online gambling are hot and whats not
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: March 12, 2021, 02:20:45 AM
i think the title shouldnt be " is it safe to invest in bnb now " but it should be " will i still be profit if i invest in bnb by these days " because you might not get a profit when you buy bnb these days because it will probably decrease due to a correction but it can soon return because bnb was a safe coin and we shouldnt question this  . im not in a way of shilling this coin but im just saying what i think of this coin because it was backed by binance .
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Failed as Money? on: March 11, 2021, 10:13:02 AM
~
Right now very small percentage among the global population is aware of bitcoin. Possibly this will be around 4-5% of the population. In the upcoming year this percentage seems to increase as more common people are getting into cryptocurrency following the participation of large scale firms on buying of bitcoin.

Right now people prioritise bitcoin as an investment, and people won't easily move to bitcoin considering it same as currency. Even in the long run I expect bitcoin to serve as an alternate to traditional fiat.
Is it really that small? Back then I thought we already have the most awareness in Bitcoin, but then this. Huh
Pretty sure that even media is aware of it now.
The only one-digit percentage we got is the adoption, maybe not awareness.
From Elon Musk's mentioning Dogecoin, I think that would actually get the awareness of many as he has millions of followers. It could be not Dogecoin, but I believe that people would think Bitcoin first before Dogecoin and even Ethereum.
4 to 5 percent is indeed pretty small and i also dont believe that we have that percent of population that know what btc is . specificaly on what year you think btc had the most awareness ? was that last year 2020 ? thats true anyway compare to 2019 down below but we already added another year , we are now in 2021 so expect that this current year is more better and next year is going to be more better and so on . adoption is better than awareness because its the adoption where people apply what they saw
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alt season over or about to start ? on: March 11, 2021, 09:25:06 AM
At the moment, the cryptocurrency market is in very positive dynamics. Many new projects appear, investors are actively showing interest in undervalued assets in an attempt to lock in profits, and traders who have not had time to make money on Bitcoin are showing interest. It's definitely altcoin season now and I think it's here for a few months
btc is bullish and anyone can be given a profit by btc but why will some traders dont have time for this , didnt they want to make money ? and why will they check out altcoins instead when altcoins are unsure to give them a profit but anyway i think that altcoin season had already begun and its still currently in the run judging on how green my alts are but idk why i still kept on looking for that classic bullish season for alts like we had before or its just me because the alts i have arent really good enough ?
257  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨Roy's Poker Room♥️♦️♣️♠️ Bitcoin | Daily GTD Tournaments | 0.1% Rake | No KYC on: March 11, 2021, 07:38:03 AM
there might be some scope of expanding the payment domain a little beyond BTC? I'm just thinking of fees, here, it may be worth considering other blockchains also  Wink

We might give an option to withdraw in other cryptocurrencies but the main option is Bitcoin.

We might offer withdraws with other cryptos like LTC but with a % as fee

i like how you prioritize bitcoin more than anything else and maybe this is the reason why you are charging extra fee if users prefer alts instead of btc , this idea can force players to gamble with btc only if they really find the site entertaining  but if not they can effortlesly switch to other poker sites that accept many coins without a catch.

your story was touching , i feel bad for your loss but i feel proud of you because you didnt gave up in your dreams .
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Venetian Casino for Sale on: March 11, 2021, 06:58:01 AM
its so sad seeing old iconic casinos are being sold out but i think we can feel happy somehow because they are considering to transfer online  .

if they want is to continue earning more money then they are going to do the right choice because gamblers now are turning thier heads into online gambling but im not really sure if there are buyers with their old casino but if there are those buyers wont care for the money but just be glad to add the iconic casino in thier collections .
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: March 11, 2021, 06:12:28 AM
I've never heard of anybody getting in trouble for not paying taxes on their gambling winnings. It is not something that will get you in trouble if you are in good standing with the IRS or whatever similar agency is in your country because you can just keep it a secret and they won't even know that you owe them money.
i visit the blog of the op and i found out that there are really countries where gambling is taxed . maybe you never heard one yet because you are not from those country  .

it will get you in trouble if your from a country where gambling is taxed  and you dont pay your taxed promptly and the penalty for that it is verry serious  so before its too late and before we play a gambling lets be familiarize with the rules of our country first .
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many people think that Bitcoin is not a currency with practical uses on: March 10, 2021, 12:35:56 PM
its not going to burst just because most people dont know about btc or know what btc is but refrain from using it as a currency but infact it will get more stronger or bigger because people will put money in it thinking that it can be a good piece of investment tool .

the value are going to be moderate if people use bitcoin balancedly ( for investment and for currency use ) but that looks pretty healthy for btc than when people only foccus on one side .
