241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether to bitcoin? on: November 01, 2017, 09:18:42 AM
Will it be more profitable to do ether to bitcoin or just stick with bitcoin

i dont really get what your trying to say but i can say that both etherium and bitcoin are verry good coins and each of them has their own pros and cons but in terms of profitability id say go on bitcoin because  as you can see most people are already earning on it in a matter of time due to its rapid growth yet etherium is also a good choice and the best alternative option if you want to spread your funds to for a better profit.

Yeah what he said. Keep in mind that all the people claiming that ETH will tank don't understand that the ethereum platform is used in over 80% of all altcoins. In order for altcoins to have ICOs or donations or distributions they rely on ETH network and protocol. The amount of ERC20 tokens listed on CMC is staggering. Just goes to show that Ethereum isn't going away anytime soon, but BTC is the mother of all crypto so there's no judging BTC will go away anytime soon. Either is a good investment.

Even if either of them crashed they would bounce back. Not sure if anyone remembers Mt Gox, but after that a LOT of people lost hope in BTC and assumed 1.2k would forever be its ATH.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: November 01, 2017, 05:17:58 AM
Should we invest in altcoins?and why?which is better altcoins or equity shares?

its better to invest in altcoin bro you can gain a huge profit when you can buy at the low price like i did  in bitconnect i bougth at 0.1$
i already stake 1000 bitconnect the price rigth now is 235$

Yeah I agree that investing in altcoins is great for ROI. The only problem with that is that the risk is MUCH higher than BTC. BTC is stabilized with over 2 trillion dollars at the moment, and although there is a possibility for some sort of crash with BTC it's hard to see it DUMP like we see alt coins dump on the daily. You just need to do your research and make sure whatever ALT you pick is worth it. It's possible to make massive gains on alts but its also just as easy to lose it. In the end I stand on the side of altcoins because the amount of gains that can be made in one month of an alt coin (if you choose the right one) is about the amount you can make in 1 year of bitcoin.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: October 31, 2017, 11:26:10 PM
Hello, I need help:

I sent BCO from Novaexchange (yesterday) to address for deposit generated in my wallet (BykKN99Khg1wrx86LYGmk86gKnFyuvRAqY) and in explorer everything is OK but balance in my wallet-account it is "0".

Did I do something wrong or should I do something more to see proper balance?

Thanks in advance for any help/hints.

I had the same problem, no worries just wait. All transactions are being processed manually at the moment, movement is slow. Just give it time.

how many tokens in total are you issuing?

Huh This is a weird question, I'm not a mod or a dev here, just trying to help since I really believe in this project. There wasn't an "issuing" of coins, it wasn't premined it was mined by the community. It's on page 1 of what the total supply is, if that's your question.

"BridgeCoin Specification

mining algorithm: scrypt PoW (pool mining)
total coins: 27 million
block reward: 256 coins, halving every month
block time: 60 seconds
difficulty retarget: 10 blocks
default port: 6333, rpc port 6332
fair launch, there is no premine, no ico! "

Which coin is used for the distribution of 50% profit?
Do $BCO holders get it in $BCO(with the rate at that time) or other coins(like $BTC, $ETH)?

Join the slack, there was discussions of this earlier. After scrolling up there for a while they were discussing that most possibly it would be in BTC but it is still under review until profit staking is released/revealed in November.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nova Exchange is Closing on: October 31, 2017, 12:50:57 AM
This is very shameful. I know a handful of coins that just recently got listed there and now they are pulling this with no forewarning to developers. It's just flat out rude knowing that. This is one reason why I think centralized exchanges will not last in the long run. There's way too much manipulation involved.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: October 30, 2017, 09:31:53 PM
Are there any requirements listed to what a coin has to have to get listed on Crypto-Bridge? I have a couple coins that are interested in trying to get listed on there and strong community and devs that back them. I feel like BCO will eventually take off but it needs a successful following as a key component to do so. Part of that is listing coins that have a strong future that will only grow with development and time not scam ICO's or just run of the mill shitcoins.

Join the slack on the front page and you can contact the devs there.

the dex looks rly not bad already, the site is fast and intuitive, we need comunity now, telegram and discord groups and more comunication from the team!
also when can u start stake bco?

I said the same thing, I'm in the slack and I told them that but someone else brought up a good point that it may be a waste of resources at the moment. Devs are working on the platform right now, I also inquired them about adding ethereum based coins to the DEX because I have to exchange my ETH for BTC to use crypto-bridge and they said they are working on that next so they've got their hands full. I'm sure we'll have a telegram soon, but certain priorities are first at the moment.

OMG OMG OMG

can't believe someone filled my orders on nova tonight

muahahahah thanks for dumping all that BCO to me and please keep it coming!!

c

LoL lucky you Smiley Anyone knows why the price is falling? Anyway, I'll buy some, just in case.

Normal market movement on Nova. Not to mention that the coin was mined by the community here on BTT, so most of the miners don't care to hold BCO.
247  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: October 28, 2017, 12:06:18 PM
My account from 2014 has also been disabled for withdrawals. Account type is shown as 'new' even though my login history shows that it's at least from 2014.
It's really funny to read from their FAQ:

Code:
The philosophy of our program is to require the minimum amount of information from our customers while providing the most services to them.

Excuse me? Name, Address, a fucking selfie, my ID...what else could you want? A DNA sample? My first born child?
And using some shady 3rd party company for the verification process...no words...

Also, if it's really true that having EV is mandatory if your account exceeds $1000, the following statement is a plain lie:

Code:
Basic accounts can withdrawal up to 3 BTC worth of digital currency equivalent per day if they have two-factor enabled.

I'm just glad I had no coins there when they pulled that stunt. My next step will be the demand to close my account with all information connected to it, and then they can go to hell.
This whole disaster is a huge red flag. MtGox...BitGox...whatever...

Holy hell, If I could up-vote, or thumbs up this post - I would. I feel the same.
248  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex manipulation? on: October 28, 2017, 11:00:55 AM
Basically, every single altcoin listed on Bittrex has fallen in a very similar pattern in relation to one another. Not every coin, but coins that are listed on Bittrex. Between the hours of 1200 and 0900 at UTC-4 on 8th October 2017, a large number of alts experienced a mass dump executed within minutes of each other.

Coincidence? Let the charts speak for themselves: http://thecryptosyndicate.com/opinion-bittrex-anomaly/

Thanks for posting this, was about to make a thread with that exact article. The points in that article are poignant alarms. What's mildly interesting is that there were hundreds - if not thousands of people claiming that their Bittrex accounts were locked about a few days after that manipulative incident happened. Also, the majority of people with locked accounts were located in the middle east - In my opinion, they are not only complying with the SEC (as they proudly and openly state on their website), but they are also complying with intelligence agencies.

I'm glad to say I have taken all of my investments out of Bittrex and into a few DEX (Crypto-Bridge, IDEX, Etherdelta, Openledger). As I see it, only negative outcomes can come from centralized exchanges. Decentralization is the primary protocol of cryptocurrencies and exchanges should replicate that - we've seen what centralization has done in the past and we KNOW it is set for failure.

I got airdrop, and im confused...
Airdrop was 1.7e-15??? So you are saying you are airdropping 0.00000000000000017 tokens to each address while it's decimal is 0???

I suggest updating the new website on CMC, it's amazing and deserves recognition.
253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2017, 01:25:49 AM
As I said in the title. I was interested in putting my money into Bitcoin because of the ever-increasing price.
But I want to know what the biggest risk is to hold Bitcoin?
Biggest risk? I know that you know already on whats on your mind but i would tell you again the risk is that we might loss money too even though its price do keep increasing but we cant be sure that this thing would last forever which means we would really always have the risk and not only that we might lost those bitcoins too by being hacked by someone or scammed by them this is why we should really keep good security on our bitcoin holdings.
Lol who is saying that holding is risk the main thing to achieve big piece of profit is holding and those who become rich just because of bitcoin just simple suggest the buying and holding and nothing else and this phenomena is very loving and promising holding in time of dump saves you from bearing loss and this is the major thing in crypto don’t count it I risk some time over greed leads to the loss also.

First off, use more punctuation (I can barely understand it).
We can't forget the many collapses that bitcoin had in the price, but I agree... At this point BTC is becoming more than just a means of transaction, it's an investment. I'm not sure if Satoshi knew how big this would get - I believe he probably thought BTC would end up being a predecessor to something else after realizing that mass adoption of it would lead to it being an erroneous protocol.
Which would probably explain all these forks that are competing to become its successor.
In the end just realize that BTC is a great investment as of right now, but in the future there may be something else.
Just keep your eyes and wit sharpened if you are investing - because once it does come, BTC might plummet.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term HODL Cryptos on: October 25, 2017, 01:15:44 AM
Honestly the big one I have when it comes to titanium grip holds would be IOTA. It's planning on making 0% transaction fees. That's HUGE, I don't care what anyone says - if that is implemented it will rock the grounds of ethereum and BTC. It would be easy for any other ICO to implement IOTAs blockchain for merchant use immediately as well. You would be able to legitimately process a microtransaction for any commodity.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO is Useless on: October 25, 2017, 01:12:06 AM
I agree to an extent, Most ICOs (let's say around 85%) are just sophisticated dumps. I know of three that are already in the top 100 that are obvious scams. That's the risk of crypto though, with the massive gains that can be made in ICOs - there are losses. I've been a victim to them and I'm sure many others have to. There are gems, you just need to find them. Just stray far away to anything that signals even one red flag.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of DogeCoin on: October 25, 2017, 01:07:19 AM
Dogecoin holds absolutely no other value other than by it's name. Doge. Like what everyone is saying, It has no practical use. It's just a funny coin that we BS to eachother about with. I assume that it will only live as long as the meme of Doge itself.
257  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electric cigarette yes/no/maybe? on: October 25, 2017, 12:58:09 AM
I personal think that it's bullshit, but there is a few stories of people who was smoking for 10 years and with electric cigarette stop smoked. I'm a smoker and i would like to stop that's why i need your advice.

It's not bs. I used to be addicted to cigarettes smoking a pack a day. Then I got into vaping. Most people think it's childish because tons of highschool and college kids are instantly introduced to it because of the enormous selection of flavours, but that doesnt concern me. The fact that I can choose a streength of nicotine that I find suitable and decrease is all that's necessary. I feel way better than how i did smoking cigs - waking up with a wheez and some messed up lungs unless i had a cig in the morning. I can actually smell what cigarettes smelled like before I had them - they smell horrid. I enjoy vaping and I think any smoker would too if they allowed themselves to.
258  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk Rank on: October 25, 2017, 12:52:34 AM
kind of the wrong topic board, this should be in newbie/help section.
259  Other / Off-topic / Re: still haven't got a job on: October 25, 2017, 12:47:59 AM
Don't look for a job, look for a need and satisfy it. What needs to be done around your neighborhood - lawn services? Painting of curbs? Etc.

What skills do you have? Can you fix computers? Post an ad on craigslist/kijijji or whatever your nation uses.

This guy is on to something but he's a bit wrong. You need money to make money. Want to mow that lawn? Buy lawn equipment. Paint curbs? Buy paint , brushes, etc. Everything costs money, so this is only applicable to those who have a cushion and are ready to become independent - I totally agree with you but that's something you consider once you already have enough money to do so.

As for OPs question - Fill out applications, EVERYWHERE. Don't bother walking in somewhere and hoping to speak to a manager and get hired right away - we arent living in the 60's anymore. Everything is online - Just check Craigslist, Indeed, Glassdoor. Apply on every hiring site - and apply for a decent job but don't be picky. AFTER that listen to this guy - go make some stuff man. I dont care if it's customized dildos or macaroni art - find a hobby or skill trad and master it, and trust me - people WILL pay you. I work as a server making 5.50 an hour + tips but I make cutting boards (and ANYONE can make with just a bit of practice and the right tools). I'm able to sell one to two board for around 150 - 350$ every week.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: help about airdrops on: October 25, 2017, 12:40:01 AM
Ok, To put it short. There is practically no risk in an airdrop unless you post your private key somewhere visible with the address by mistake. Airdrops are completely free and All you really need to join it is an ETH wallet - which you can get in MEW for free. It's also good to have some extra ETH in all your ETH wallets for further transactions so you can send the tokens to an exchange for trading.

For OP's question yes anyone can make an airdrop - just figure out how you want to code the contract API. Then send the tokens to recipients. There's SOOOO much more involved but honestly that's all I can tell you because you honestly should be googling this crap rather than posting here. Put some effort in it, figure it out.
