A lesson I have learned, "Do not panic buy".
I'm a small time investor, I started last August 29, and when the bitcoin price dropped 500$, I bought some mBTC all in, and I regreted it when the price drops to 3,000$.  
Then someone recommended the DCA strategy. And it's a great idea.

For future purposes. I'm not rich to use bitcoin just for fun. I'm investing most of my time in researching more about bitcoin, I maybe a lil bit late to start investing but it's never too late. This question was written on march 7, 2017. Comparing the bitcoin price at that time compared to its price today is enough reason why I'm saving it for the future.

3,600$ should not scare you man. Compared to its 1,000$ price at the beginning of the year, it's still on a good spot. I'm still a newbie in Bitcoin, but reviewing some of the charts, there's nothing to worry about. Prices maybe affected now by some incidents and how people reacted on it. But one thing is for sure. Bitcoin is here to stay.

We can not predict the price of bitcoin but we can guess what will happen, depending on the news that we hear. Like some banning and hardfork. And it's price isn't controlled or intervened by human. The increase and decrease of it's value depends on the market behavior or how bitcoin users reacts on such event, like panic selling etc.

SOON! but not that soon. I'm not in a hurry so it's okay. I hope it will exceed that 4,500$
Hope we'll see it in a couple of months.

I don't have any plan yet. I'm a newbie in cryptocurrency. Maybe I will trade/sell some altcoins but not bitcoins.
60-40 maybe. 40% for trading/selling and I will convert the remaining 60% to bitcoin and hold it for a year or two. But still, I won't encash it 100%. I want to try my luck in bitcoins. Hope the price will continue to rise.  

Me too. ImToken din po ang gamit ko. Yung myetherwallet.com po kasi hindi ko maaccess kapag mobile yung gamit ko. Kaya kung mas madalas ka po sa mobile mas okay yung ImToken. Pero kung latop/desktop naman po lagi ang gamit mo, mas okay po yung myetherwallet.com.

For me, it's not wise to use bitcoin for day-to-day life. Kahit sabihin pa po na fixed yung mga prices at ikoconvert lang sa btc. Bitcoin price may rise for just a couple of months, and you will regret spending it. At isa pa po, once na ginamit na natin sya araw araw. Malalaman na yung idedentity natin, for me hindi sya safe. Paano kung may masamang tao na makatimbre na may bitcoin ka? Napaka risky non. Baka akalain pa non pagkayaman yaman mo na. Kasi kapag well adopted na sya sa society natin. Mas madami na ang aware sa halaga ng bitcoin, isa na don yung mga taong ang gusto lang e makinabang sa pera na pinaghirapan ng ibang tao.

Kung kasalukuyan pong nasa PHP Wallet mo yung 500 ngayon. Mas maganda kung antayin mo po na bumaba ang halaga ng bitcoin tapos ilipat mo yung 250. At kapag mas bumaba pa ilipat mo yung natitirang 250 pesos. Para sa oras na tumaas na ulit ng value ng bitcoin may tubo na agad yung pera mo. Nasa timing lang po yan. Mas maganda po kung every 200-300$ na pagbaba ng presyo ka bumili. Nababa sya ngayon hanggang 3,600$

Kahit noon pa po gusto na nila gumawa ng digital cash pero madaming nagfailed. Lahat sila ay centralized yung system, so naisip ni Satoshi Nakamoto na gumawa ng digital cash na completely decentralized. At yon, nag succeed po sya. Kahit na malaking sugal yung gumawa ng non trust based system, mukhang imposible pero ginawang posible ni (Sir) Satoshi. May nabasa din po ako noon na ang bitcoin (cryptocurrency) is not protected/secured by people or by trust, but by math. Kaya siguro madami ding tao ang tiwala sa bitcoin.

YES! If the couple is into bitcoin and very dear to me. It would be a perfect gift for them.

But of course, if they don't have any idea about bitcoin and are not interested, I won't. My hard earned coins will just put into waste.

Kahit patuloy pang tangkilikin ng tao ang bitcoin, ito ay maaaring tumagal lamang hanggang taong 2140. Isa sa monetary property ng mga cryptocurrency ay ang controlled supply. Mapapansin nyo po sa mga ICO na naka-indicate doon kung gaano kadami ang coins. Tulad lang din po sa pera natin, limitado lamang ang pinoproduce upang hindi bumaba ang halaga nito. Isa din po sa nabasa ko nung nagsisimula pa lang ako sa bitcoin:

Ngunit kahit mawala na ang bitcoin sa panahong iyan. Siguradong may iba pang mga cryptocurrency. Lalo na kung laganap na ang paggamit nito. Unless, tumigil ang tao sa pagtangkilik dito.

Opo, as long as BTC wallet ang gamit mo walang problema. Dapat appropriate wallet ang ginagamit mo sa mga coins mo, kapag kasi hindi tama ang ginamit mo, mawawala lang yung coins mo. If sasali ka po sa mga ICOs or campaigns na ETH or new coins ang bayad, make sure na ERC-20 yung gamit mo. Late ko na malaman, kaya sinasabi ko na para di mo magawa yung pagkakamali ko. Haha

Sana po magkaroon na ng ETH wallet ang coins.ph na ERC-20 compliant. Para po isang wallet na lang. Hirap po kasi kapag ibang wallet pa yung gamit tapos may fees pa. Then yung sa coinbase hindi pa ko makapag purchase ng ETH.
then hindi pala sya pwede gamitin sa mga ICO, nasayang effort ko. Pero okay lang. Lesson learned.

In Bitcoin, the supply decreases in time and will reach its final number somewhere in around 2140
I've read it on blockgeeks.  
It's value depends on the supply and demand. If more people would invest in bitcoin, it's value will increase. But when a lot of people are withdrawing or converting it into cash it's value will drop.
I'm not sure about it's legality. But you don't need anybody's approval to use cryptocurrencies. Nobody can prevent us from using it unless it is prohibited by your government.
If someone would invent something more promising than bitcoin.

I value bitcoin as an investment. For me it's better than any other currency because it is more secured and profitable.
