Ok, there is a problem with NHML: this is how gminer detects cards NHML detects Nvidia first, and AMD later, so 0-5 are Nvidia and 6-7 are AMD and thus it can't select proper cards for gminer to mine its algorithms. Or perhaps adding parameter that excludes amd\nvidia out of detection will help.

I don't have mixed cards but try "--list_devices" and then use "--devices" to specify cards to use.
Tnx, I'll try. Tough judging by my other rig w\o Fury where I've been testing 1.33 so far on Beam hashrate has dropped on pools side - I even get low share difficulty (512 instead of 1024). So, again back to 1.31 I guess...

I've have AMD+Nvida cards in my rigs, how do I make gminer 1.33 use only nvidia? Its messing all up...

After updating to 0.17 lyra2rev3 algo stopped working on Nicehash, had to roll back to 0.16.2

Hello, I am switching from NiceHash to NH Legacy and I came to this problem with Gminer. (my configuration: 8 GTX 1070) https://imgur.com/a/8e2O5bqhttps://imgur.com/a/yDWXUowcan someone help me why some cards are dead? With old NiceHash miner, I don't have these problems al 8 card works ok. Increase page file size, with 8 cards you need a lot of it.

Hi! Sorry, I did not wait for an answer from you and try this again).
Switch Timings of memory will be works for anothers algos(CN,ETH ...etc) with Fury or this is no sence. In R9 390 its was good effect in ETH,ZCASH... What program do you use for core voltage switch and core clock in Win(you say about 135W), because without GPU upload 975mV its not real in Afterburner at least, system freezes. 1050-1085mV(190-210W) it is minimum what i was can do. How do you do this in Windows?
I answered already - I use wattman for clock\voltage adjustment. As for timings I've only compared effect on eth and zec when I was modifying them, can't say about other algos as I never compared if there is a difference as well, but it certainly doesn't make it slower.

Doesn't work with AMD Fury cards... Same at nanopool. Fake hashrate, slower than 1.31 and lower wattage.
I see higher wattage now, not sure yet about h\r at pool though upd. ok, I can confirm h\r dropped at pool for me too, rolling back to 1.31

Have just tried mining beam with my R9 Fury cards, got 16.5Sol@150Wt. Well, at least this miner does support Fiji ))
|
|
|
Whats program do you use for this? and does it make sense to switch memory timings for this card, for others algo?
I told you already I use Wattman. Lowering timings improve h\r on daggerhash, as of other algos I dunno what kind of benefit it gives - I never compared. But its not making things worse thats for sure

So How i can do 135W on lyrav3 without mod bios, only settings in Windows? Whats coreclock and core voltage do you use for this? Because for me, all what less than -162mV(it is about 200-210W from the wall) is a system hang!
900Mhz/975mV

Did you changed -gt parameter? Use auto-tune process.
I have -gt parameter set in config. upd. as it turned out with new version of miner optimal -gt value has changed, it used to be 138, now its 187. So hashrate became the same.

There is a performance loss with new version on R9 Fury cards: its only 28M\s now, when it used to be 30M\s, power consumption also dropped by 5-7Wt. Had to roll back to 4.0b.

Hey guys, Can someone please explain to me what is INTENSITY, not sure which settings to use, tried everything from 20 to 25, not sure which to use or which is better for 1080Ti? Thanks
I noticed not gains in hashrate going higher than 23

Do you have a ready mod BIOS, or only manual tuning? What program is relevant for this today, I have not modified the BIOS for a long time (the last time it was Hawaii and I don’t remember exactly which programs were used). Maybe you have some link with manual of this question?
No, I don't have bios ready to mine lyra right on - I still gotta use wattman to set core clocks and voltages. For bios editing check here: https://www.overclock.net/forum/67-amd/1592384-fiji-bios-editing-fury-fury-x-nano-radeon-pro-duo.html Though you dont really need it unless your cards can be ulocked, as far as I know only Asus Strix and Sapphire Tri-X(not Nitro) can.

So you switch core voltage in bios to +/- 1000mV(reprogramming stock bios)? Or just in any software program in OS(like -200mV, i think what it is not possible for stable work)?
I have modified bios yeah: unlocked 60CU, applied 400Mhz mem timings to 500MHz, undervolted for gaming, but for mining in most cases you can even lower on voltage with the same clock. And since I had to go lower on clock(P7-state) as well I just adjusted P-states and voltages in Wattman. I dunno if OverdriveNTool supports Fiji, when I was using one of my furies in my PC it hadn't existed yet). But AB is definitely no-go for tuning Fury since it doesn't read its P-states - basically same thing as curve OC for nvidia.

How can you do this? 135W? this is info from wattmeter? What settings?
HWinfo reports it yes, which is accurate since I compared its readings with wattmeter before. I've got 2 furies in rig with 6 nvidia cards. Their settings for lyra2r3 are: 900mhz core and voltages are 975mV/981mV per card. Under load it gives 938mV/944mV because of vdrop. At 1000Mhz it was 66Mhs@185Wt(though I didnt undervolt them properly) with v0.3.9, so now with 0.3.10 it's probably a bit more since with 900Mhz new version of miner gave me ~0.5mhs extra hashrate. I get more 200W with -125mV ! This is not much of undervolting considering vcore on stock bios on my cards was 1200mV+ on each card which is insane. With 1000mhz I tried randomly inputing 1100mV and as I said it gave me 185Wt and was stable, so I could probably dropped it even further, but the goal was to make them consume <150Wt so I realized it would never happen @1000Mhz so I didnt bother finetuning this clocks.

Grin started to work again on Nicehash with 1.30, but now its same error again... wtf, is Nicehash messing with Gminer support on purpose?
|
|
|
Why does grin mine with such low intensilty compared to zhash/beam? I mean with same settings(~1800mhz) on grin 1080s will only consume 100Wt@4.8sol instead of 140-150Wt in beam/zhash, so you have to OC them to 2000mhz+ and high voltages...
|
|
|
If you want to mine Grin, then keep in mind it does not work mining GRIN with AMD cards.
No, I was going to mine beam Upd: k, I've added -devices amd:01 and miner said it couldn't find correct kernel.
|
|
|
Why doesn't Bminer see AMD cards in multi-rig? I got 2 furies and 6 gtx10-series in a rig and when I start miner it will only see nvidia cards? Do I need to add something to config?
