241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How old would you be by 2140? on: March 22, 2024, 03:03:01 AM
Probably I was going to be around 140 years old around that time, so for sure it wasn't possible for me to reach that age since at this generation the highest age probably is going to be around 70 years old, I mean reaching that age was already going to be difficult for some people for sure, so not all of us is going to witness what is going to happen after all Bitcoin is all mined.

There are a lot of excuses for sure especially for some people, You dont know Bitcoin if you dont know Bitcoin you're not going to invest or put some money in it because you just don't have enough knowledge about it, you dont know what going to happen to your money, it is going to generate profit something like that. Bad image of Bitcoin, as we all know Bitcoin has a bad image in a lot of people because most of the news that relates to Bitcoin is connected to some illegal activities or most of the time scams, so a lot of people know Bitcoin as something related to a scam that's why they avoid it most of the time. There are a lot of excuse for it, but if you already know Bitcoin and have knowledge about it, I think there was no actual reason not to invest of it as we realize its potential I think it is always going to be worth it investment on it.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: March 21, 2024, 11:58:36 PM
I've been watching with interest as Bitcoin has pulled back over the past week after hitting new highs. Part of me wants to accumulate more while the price is down, but I also wonder if we may see it drop further in the short term.

Well there are good arguments on both sides. On one hand, the long-term outlook for Bitcoin remains very bullish as adoption increases. Even major institutions continue entering space, and trends like halvings may lead to new all-time highs over the coming years. But on other hand, factors like the upcoming Fed meeting could continue to bring volatility in the short-term.

I also think this price drop may present a good buying opportunity for someone looking to DCAing and I'm also looking to buy more BTC especially since BTC's price is low and there's zero fees on Bitget. Of course, as with any investment, only put in what you can afford to lose.

So, even if it dips further short-term, history tells us Bitcoin tends to go up in the long run.

The recent drop of Bitcoin is surely a good opportunity to buy more Bitcoin, since you're buying Bitcoin with a discount, there is no guarantee that Bitcoin is still going to drop at that price as we might enter the Bullrun market there is always a possibility that it might stay in the higher market value so, buying when we experience a correction is always going to be a good opportunity for sure. But buying early is a greater opportunity for sure when the market is still not on hype like right now. Your never actually going to know when is the right time to buy for sure because the market is just so unpredictable so there was no actual way to actually know it, so the better strategy to approach it in my opinion is always Dollar Cost Averaging because you're always buying Bitcoin consistently like for example weekly or monthly something like that. It might not be a higher profit compared to buying bulk when the market price is low, but it's going to be a guaranteed profit as long as you are going to hold for the long term and only sell it on the Bullrun market.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Why does a country borrow money from the world bank even when they can afford it on: March 21, 2024, 11:21:18 PM
Most of the time countries just do it for development for sure something like a big project that they are planning like roads, instruction, bridges, etc. which could be a big help to the country. This project cost millions of dollars they probably cannot afford all of the government if they just going to pay it all at once, the world bank surely is going to be a great leverage as long as the country has a good record as a country that can pay its debt. Having debts is not actually going to be a bad thing if a country cannot really generate a huge amount of income at once, like on a natural disasters like earthquake or storm, it could easily destroy a huge of places and cost a huge amount of money which something that a country cannot foreseen, that emergency money that we needed is going to be great in order to recover fast in we encounter this kind of problems. As long as this money helps improve our way of living and actually contributes when it comes to the economic aspect on the country it will be a huge help and can be a good thing when it comes to generating money so that the country can easily repay its debt.

There are for sure other sides of this like lending money so that they could have a claim on the land of the country that has debt on them, which probably going to be silent colonization of other countries, I think I watched something like it on youtube about china doing this to other countries.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feelings on losing the match and the bet on: March 21, 2024, 09:32:54 AM
Do you feel sad when your favorite team loses a match and the bet (if you had placed a bet on that match)?

It is part of every sport where a team loses and a team wins the match. A team is happy and a team is sad, not only in cricket but in other sports too like basketball, volleyball and the last best sport Football.

Also, a match isn't considered a loss but if that match is a final, semi final or such a big match for example between two rivalry teams then it will be like this, but at the same time for us, even if the match isn't important in the context of the series but we place the bet and lose it, it's our lost booked and there are no second thoughts about it.

When your team wins you have happiness. Everything goes wrong including your mood and emotions if the team on which we place the bet loses the match unexpectedly.

For sure it will make me sad if my favorite team loses for sure, it wasn't going to be a good day just remember NBA finals and how hype it is, plus if I had a bet on it that would probably be worse.

It is part of the game, we surely gonna have losers and winners in the end, but that is where the sportsmanship came in right, the game is entertaining and fun at the same time because of this thing.

Were surely gonna hate losing, I mean who doesn't want to win, after all, this is all part of the game, and gambling as well, if you don't feel anything when you win or lose on the game and on the betting probably because you're not really enjoying it, probably it might be one essence of it, In the first place sports is entertainment and gambling as well so we should get entertain on it.

245  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakapagtake profit ba ang lahat? on: March 20, 2024, 11:44:46 PM

246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 20, 2024, 06:01:29 PM
Especially on sports betting we see some racism happening and this happened in most of the league that are popular of which so many persons bet on. It bothers me to ask, that imagine you placed a bet and somehow you have 80% assurance that it would come out successful. And on the process of waiting for the game to end there was some racism manipulation in the game which made you lost the game. It could be football or other sports cause its mostly found in sports.

Next time would you choose to not bet on a particular game because you feel the members of the VAR, or the referee are racist, and you are sure that there would be some manipulation?

I mean not all games this could apply to, since gambling could be a fair game most of the time depending on the game right, if you have an opponent even though there is racism on it the game still works fai unless the casino itself is going to be the one that does the discrimination. I could imagine it on sports betting or some kind of game that has a referee, I mean there are a lot of games where the referee does a bad job of officiating the game, if racism occurs there they could easily take advantage of that, I've heard similar things about it on NBA games where one referee dislike one player, to the point where he always does a false call on that player every time he has the ball, that could easily lead to losing if. I could easily imagine losing that game, especially on making the false call in crucial moments, there are times I think in NBA finals that one wrong call could easily impact a lot on the game.

There was still no way around it, the best thing to do was just to avoid it in the end because it just wasn't going to be fair, there was for sure going to be some manipulation since they have the power to, I mean this referee could probably have bet as well so it's going to be easy to win some bet if they have the power to manipulate it right, if you know how it works already you might be able to take advantage of it.

247  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is over priced but people keep spending on: March 20, 2024, 06:00:14 AM
The cost of things has gone up so much so that it's glaring. Imagine paying 5-12$ for an average meal you could get before for 3$. The jump cost is extremely high. Cooking a meal at home can cost you the same amount you would spend on eating in a restaurant. Funny enough people still afford all these things without complaining. My anger is that we make money to spend it all into our normal life expenses. It's difficult now to save or invest unless you part of the rich people in society. An average man has to just eat, pay bills, and survive.

I mean we could clearly notice these high prices on every product in the market, I remember having around 10$ on a grocery and it feels like 10$ which is around 500Pesos here in my country is already a big deal, you could budget it somehow even though it was still a small amount of money but you could survive with it probably within a week with the right budgeting but right now it was just impossible your gonna need around 40$-100$ just to make it until next week.

The bottomline these things are just inevitable and there was really nothing that we can do about it, its inflation the government is just keeps in printing unlimited money, with that supply and demand of fiat money we could easily say that we are just slaves of this system, but country are being run by the government so there was nothing we can do completely to change this system.

The best thing that we can do about it is to adapt to it, we need to budget, learn how to manage our finances, be wise, have a financial foundation, have investments, etc. I understand that things are just over a price right now but if we are talking about needs there was no choice but to adapt to it , because its our basic need and we cant survive if we dont buy these things, but we could still do things to budget and go on some alternatives, I mean cooking at home on me do the trick, those restaurants just had a mark up around 300% of the food that you buy if you cook at home you have the choice of making it healthy and you could cook more than the serving on restaurants.

Were just gonna go back to investing and managing our finances, dont buy things that you could afford, have multiple income streams, have financial foundations, etc. It's not going to be easy for sure but we gonna need to do the hard work in order to survive, the world is cruel and not fair but we are living on it, we just doesnt have a choice so either do something about it, or stay poor.

248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help a newbie with links to useful threads on: March 19, 2024, 11:24:53 PM

Hello users, I was registered today and I don't seem to find my way around the forum because everything is confusing to me, I see a lot of boards for many countries, should I stick to my national board alone? this place is also like an organization right? And in every organization there are rules, do's and don't's guiding the organization right? I have a lot of questions and I don't want to stress everyone with my many questions hence the reason why I am asking for  links to useful threads. Thanks for your help.

A lot of members already reply to the rules here in the forum, just make sure to follow that so that you can avoid getting banned here in the forum, The Local Board is actually a good one where you could start here in the forum, all of the post there on native language so you're not gonna have a hard time understand it, plus you could interact with your fellow countrymen on a discussion about cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, etc.

I mostly recommend that newbies to start investing already in cryptocurrency, I mean there is no actual way around it, you are not going to learn it truly unless you're going to actually experience it yourself, you could easily start at a very small amount of investment doing Dollar Cost Averaging so that you could lower the risk of your investment in cryptocurrency, with your journey that is where this forum comes in, there are a lot of experience members here in the forum that could easily help you if you encounter something or wanted to learn something on cryptocurrency you could easily make a thread or topic here in the forum asking and learn about it through the help of the members here.

Also, you dont need to worry about the ranks here in the forum, you're eventually going to rank up for sure as you post a lot you're going to get merits, etc.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Contest: Predict the exact possible bitcoin price for 22-3-24 and win merits on: March 19, 2024, 10:35:53 PM
This was a great contest but I believed this wasn't the right section for it, I think this one is on Games and rounds since it is a game.

My Prediction is March 22, 2024, $64,758.

Expecting for the market to recover a little bit since the drop, to be honest, I dont think Bitcoin could continue to increase its market until the Bitcoin halving, I think a lot of investors are going to sell because of its hype just like what happened in the past halving, most of the time the market price drop a lot, because there is a huge pump before the halving and I think that is the hype of Halving already.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: March 19, 2024, 06:32:18 AM
There have been saying that before you win a game in gambling, you would have lost enough funds and that means you didn't win any new or extra money to yourself but the casino return part of your money which you have lost before to you. And some will still say that what about those who have not playing gamble before and they won in their first day in gambling. Well those people newly converts to the gambling system will still dash the casino company that win again because the first time win is always to lure them to the system and making them to perpetual adoration to gamble. And I don't think someone in the gambling industry has as a win win gambling history. Or you wins are bigger than the loss. And all the experiences I have in gambling I have not seen that and also those of my friends who are gamblers have not to me that they only win and there is no loss record in their gambling history. And all the ones I have seen and known, the loses are more than the wins. And when I carefully look at the argument I also accept the assertion that what you win was part of your loss. Is that true? Make your input.

I have watched some videos on YouTube about a guy I think it was in Las Vegas about someone who is being invited by a casino and instantly is on VIPs because his completely winning every day, For sure there are some losses but he's winning is already millions as far as I remember so casino is doing this invites because they wanted this guy to lose all of his money on gambling but I guess he is just lucky at some point, I mean It was surely possible at some extent to be able to earn a huge amount on a gambling casino and not losing in a way, but for sure there are only a few people that able to be lucky to do this, I mean its possible that it doesnt mean that it is going to happen to every one of us, so its better to not let your hope high.

That is always going to be a thing in case you lose more that just means that you're getting your money back, the way I see it is if you're not winning or losing more than winning you should just stop gambling since there was nothing to gain, still it is going to be fine for sure as long as you are going to do it moderation and for entertainment purposes.
251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It is not to late, but how do I get established with BTC and the community? on: March 19, 2024, 02:41:43 AM
Hello all, Anyone starting with BTC this year, doesn't have the great opportunities from the past. It is not to late, but how do I get established with BTC and the community? Where to start that isn't just following everyone else, or too new for anyone to pay attention?

The easy answer is just to start doing it, start now your not actually going to actually understand it completely unless you have experienced it already. It's a good thing that you are already here in the forum where there are a lot of members who could easily help you get started on cryptocurrency, there are a lot of threads here on how to start buying and investing in cryptocurrency, I recommend starting buying and investing already and on your way in case, you encounter problem you could easily ask someone here the forum, there are plenty of experience member here in the forum that could easily help you.

It is never too late to start investing, there are so many opportunities in the market where you could easily make a huge amount of profit, you just need to do it and find it, you could easily start with a small amount DCA is already popular to a lot of traders because you could easily start at whatever amount that you have, start buying around 5% of your salary put it on Bitcoin every month or week something like that then just do that until you accumulate a certain amount.

You could also start exploring some things where you could possibly make some money, you could try altcoins in the market, leverage trading, futures trading, stock trading, etc. As long as you know your limits and do it in moderation you could possibly make good money and lower you risk at the same time.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the dip people!!! Could be last chance for prices this low on: March 19, 2024, 01:56:13 AM
Bitcoin is currently undergoing a correction back to the $60,000s. Around $68k now, got down to $66k.

This is the time to buy before the bull run really gets going. This MIGHT be the lowest it gets. While a deeper fall during this correction, or another correction in the near future, is certainly possible, this might also be as low as it gets. After the near future, the only time it might get this low again is in like two years on the next bear market, and these prices may be the bottom of the bear market.

So anyone who has money sitting on the sidelines and who wants to buy Bitcoin, today is gonna likely be one of the lowest days we're gonna see for at least the next 18-24 months, and maybe forever! Buy!

I mean that could be true actually there are a lot of times, especially on Bullrun where the market price is just increasing to the moon, if we are going to actually enter the Bullrun market price could increase in just a small amount of time, its really possible then this could be the last time that we are going to see 60k$ if the Bullrun started it is going to stay more than that, there are always a possibility of reaching the 100k$ over time and that could stay its market price around that for months until the bear market comes.

You would never go wrong for sure buying the deep, even though it wasn't evident that the market was going to increase its market price or we are going to continue to increase not decrease buying the dip is always going to be the right thing to do most of the time, because you are buying in the market when it is on a discounted price. It wouldn't really going to matter as long as you are planning to hold for a long-term investment, this dip buying that you do is always going to be worth it, and going to make a guaranteed profit in the future.

It might be even better than DCA if you are only buying on the dip, discounted price on long-term investment is going to be a higher profit, unlike DCA your always buying whatever the price is, it is still going to be a guaranteed profit as long as you are going to sell on a higher market price, but buying at the right timing is going to be even better when it comes to profit in long term.

254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 17, 2024, 06:27:26 PM
Mike Tyson was almost 60 years old I mean that's Grandpa level right, and already retired for almost 20 years so for sure it's kind of going to be rusty right now since there were only a few months before the fight. I mean this was pretty obvious since nobody would care probably about the fight, I mean just to see Mike Tyson fight even at this age there will be people for sure that are going to be willing to pay just to watch him fight again. That just means that this fight is going to generate them a huge amount of money, There might be some chances that it is going to be a staged fight I guess, as we know Jake Paul most of the fights are fixed, I mean he had the money for sure so he could just pay Mike Tyson for sure at least not to knock him out something like that, or worst case to lose that fight.

Still, Mike was looking kinda dangerous at his age as we can see on his pose, the fact that he's a heavyweight could actually be a thing, his punches on his pose and his speed is still going to be a threat to Jake Paul for sure. This is still going to be fun to watch, and gamblers are going to be entertained by this bet, would personally going to bet on Mike even though I might probably lose it still Mike is still Mike.

Even if Muhammad Ali was alive then maybe Paul would challenge him to boxing, because we know Paul is not only making boxing a joke in his content but it seems that he just wants to see boxing legends humiliated when they are no longer as young like as Tyson is now who has worn a cane, I don't know what Jake Paul had in mind so he got into boxing and continued to challenge people who have retired in his career.

We'll probably see a lot of money squandered on the boxing match and it's even rumored that Tyson will get paid a pretty fantastic fee to fight Paul, but will it be worth the risk Tyson will get in the fight?
Paul and Tyson are 31 years apart so we can be sure if maybe Tyson will lose on the fight, indeed all this time we know Tyson as a heavyweight boxing legend and we know what he fought like, but no matter how great he was in the past, of course we cannot deny if at this time Tyson there is a grandfather grandfather who certainly can no longer match the performance of someone who is 27 years old like Paul.

Jake Paul is going to rig this fight for sure, I mean just looking at Mike Tyson he could probably murder you, he is still a heavyweight champion even though you are a veteran you're probably going to after picking a fight with that kind of guy just watching how he win his fights, So its either Mike Tyson is gonna get paid to lose this fight or probably gonna get paid just to at least not knock up Jake Paul, I mean Almost all of jake paul fights are obviously rigged in the first place.

This Jake Paul surely knows how to generate a lot of money targeting retired boxers, and legends like Mike Tyson there was no doubt that it is going to make a lot of money, seriously? on Netflix? they even have a teaser trailer on Netflix what is this? some kind of movie-rigged fight? They surely hyping this fight I mean it's interesting for sure but it is surely just for money, winning or losing they both going to make a lot of money here.

I Have seen this post on social media platforms, I'm trying to find its source but I didn't find it, I found some voice recordings on Tiktok I wasn't sure if this was legit, but there are a lot of exchanges happening on there social media taunting each other.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 17, 2024, 05:43:59 PM
I’m always a victim of this mistake before when I’m still allure on online casino. I keep playing every night after work. I always play until midnight which makes me consume most of my rest time for my job preparation tomorrow.

The result is I don’t have much energy at work due to insufficient sleep and I lose funds on gambling because I keep playing quick due to my limited time. The effect is very disadvantageous to me since I both lose in these situations. This is the reason why I change my gambling pattern significantly that limit me to play only during weekends when I don’t have job tomorrow.

This is an advice based on my experience, don’t ever insert gambling on your schedule if you really don’t have free time for it because it will always result to disaster in both gambling and your life.

For sure you should be gambling if you dont have time for it, if it is taking up other time then it's going to be a problem for sure, You could easily get productive on doing things other than gambling, I mean personally I treat gambling as an entertainment, after work you could for sure gamble sometimes and its kinda feel great doing it just to get entertain, but not really since it involved money it gives me a little stress as well and I really needed to be careful on my what I do because I could potentially lose money on it, I mean no one wanted to lose their money on gambling right.

It is definitely doable with the right time management you could schedule things like gambling for sure on a limit, like for example every weekday so that you have your free time right, but at the same time you limit your risk of losing money on it, If gambling is already affecting your life like what you have said it making not get productive on work because you dont have enough sleep, then you just have to stop that gambling easily move to other days probably where you dont have nothing to do, just make sure that your gambling is not going to affect your life then its fine gambling.

Schedule could easily benefit how you do gambling since you be able to monitor it easily, and having that control time that you are giving on gambling is going to prevent those behaviors or having a spike on your emotions which is really a problem on gambling.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of these betting Statements Do you Agree or Disagree With? on: March 17, 2024, 04:36:25 PM
I want to believe that we all agree that our betting budget should be within 5% -10% of our monthly income as responsible gamblers. However, our perspective on sports betting differs. Look at the gambling sentences and indicate which of the statements you agree or disagree with. You could also write a brief explanation for your standpoint
I believe it's a fair amount already doing around 5%-10% of your salary putting that in gambling is probably something that you could already afford to lose, and going to be easy to recover from that actually.

1. Don't bet all your money on one bet.
This for sure wasn't going to be a good move for sure, putting all of your money in one bet is going to be a huge risk, and could easily lose on this kind of bet. I dont agree of doing it at all because there will be no chance to recover if you lose that one bet.

2. Bet the same amount on every bet.
Not necessarily needed to be the same amount every bet, I dont really agree with it, in my gambling strategy I usually do small bets after winning a huge bets, so putting the same amount in my opinion is not a good idea.

3. Don't bet more than once a day.
I do bet more than once a day for sure as long as I still on the budget, I for sure going to set the limit of my loss, kinda like stop loss if I already loss that amount of money then I kinda force to stop betting.

4. Don't bet every day.
Dont agree with it for sure, It is the worst thing that you could do for sure, constantly putting it at risk is not going to be a good idea, and most of the time you're going to lose a huge amount of money on it, and could easily lose your focus, get frustrated, it was really going to be stressful for you etc. if you keep doing it every day.

257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple mistake that makes you lose everything on: March 17, 2024, 03:39:58 PM
I always have this kind of mistake before way back when I’m still inexperienced gambler. A simple mistake such as not placing a bet on a round that result to massive win just because my screen glitch makes me tilted that resulted to lose focus and bust all my bankroll quickly due to risky bets.

There’s some instances that I’m already winning big on blackjack then one of my bet is a pair of 10 which I accidentally double down instead of stand while I place huge bet triggers me a lot that result to terrible loss.

I’m sure many players here experience this kind of minor mistakes that resulted to terrible outcome. Share your story and let’s have fun hearing it. I hope there’s no BS story…

I mean that was just some common mistakes and it happened most of the time to a lot of gamblers, it happened to me a lot as well, and it was really easy to lose your focus and get tilted most of the time because of so many distraction that could get on your way, There are times that I get wrong one, click the one button, just because I lose focus just for a little bit of time and that result to a loss, I mean there are times, that it accidentally get me to a win but most of the time it ended up with a huge lose.

But now it rarely happens to me because when I gamble I make sure that I'm all set, and I have nothing to worry about but to focus, and be ready for the game, I guess it is still important for most of the gamblers because these bets are money after all and losing money is not going to be a good thing, I mean mostly I get that adrenaline on this kind of thing so my spirit is always awake especially if I know that I'm winning.

You could be lazy for sure, I do some research on like sports betting for sure, and I do at least some analysis on what team i think is going to win, but its a different game after all you could just bet on it and hope for your team to win there was no focus required you just need to be updated on what is happening at least so that you know how it might turn out next time, or if you actually win or lose.

Well, I have the same strategy on my winnings as well, I mean when I already accumulate a huge amount of money I just spend it all on some things that I really like, I mean it was a gamble after all, and its always better to be safe than taking that risk, so its better to have something or have an investment already than continue do take the risk. It might not be something that I need but something that I want but at least I do buy something with it. Always take profit if you can, and most of my winnings are on sportsgambling I just spend it on something that I want not on my needs, I put my salary on my needs. I guess it is because its kinda fast to earn on gambling so its wouldn't really going to be a thing even though you spend it quick.

I kinda like guitars as well it was on my hobby when I was still a college student by I just didn't have enough time to practice and play anymore, Congratulations on your guitar purchase Goodluck with that, the advice that I always give to guitar players is Practice, Practice, Practice.
