241  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: January 12, 2018, 02:26:59 AM
yes. bitcoin can decrease or increase its value. its not fix value
I agree with you. Since bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency and because of it's being volatile, bitcoin value will go up and down anytime. But despite of it's being volatile it can give us the opportunity to earn big profit that is why more and more people is getting interested in bitcoin.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 11, 2018, 03:32:23 PM
Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?
you can earn easy token thru airdrops, but the problem with airdrops is that some of them are scammers and some of them are not yet listed on any exchanger. You can earn easy token but not too much unlike if you join bounty campaign you can  e sure that you can get profit and that you can earn big.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 11, 2018, 03:26:53 PM
Just wondering if ETH can
maybe yes. We know that Eth has many supporters because of the ICO industry. The price value of bitcoin is way too big versus the value of Eth but maybe in the near future the value of Eth will still go up. With a lot of supporters from the ICO nothing is impossible.
244  Local / Pamilihan / Re: May establishments ba na nag aaccept ng bitcoin as payment? on: January 10, 2018, 07:15:52 AM

http://youngmaze.com/stores-in-the-philippines-that-accepts-bitcoin-5233

Siguro by the year 2019 pa ayon sa research ko.
247  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcoin ATM machine nationwide for cash out on: January 07, 2018, 01:54:24 AM
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: managing private keys on: January 06, 2018, 07:24:02 PM
private keys is very important key scure the private key and store it in safe palce
I agree with you. Private key should be kept properly and if possible why not make at least 3 or 4 copies of your private just incase you lost a copy of your private. It is very important because you cannot open your wallet without a private key. This is like your Identification on your own account.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: January 03, 2018, 01:16:39 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

Maybe because they were scared to be scam by other people who uses bitcoin for scamming. Some of these people are not knowledgeable enough on how bitcoin works and what bitcoin can do to help them financially and make business as well.

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1081010912055662&id=163550757135020
252  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 1 bitcoin is equal to 1 million on: December 31, 2017, 01:53:34 AM
254  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 30, 2017, 01:42:38 PM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.
I believe there are so many reason why people choose bitcoin. First, it is an alternative payment system. Second, we can earn profit from it. Third, Bitcoin is an asset and a long term investment that is why people invest in bitcoin to gain profits.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: December 29, 2017, 03:22:47 PM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
it would be better to have it both because we can use both on our expenses. The only difference is cryptocurrency is a modern alternative way of payment system and we can only use it thru internet technology. I believe it is not possible for the physical money to disappear just like that, It is use worldwide, and it is very important  on our daily lives. Come to think of it, can we pay a taxi with bitcoin? Or buy a cup of coffee or a bar of chocolate with bitcoin? No, we cannot. That's the importance of fiat money in our lives.
256  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies make physical money disappear? on: December 29, 2017, 05:27:55 AM
As we can see the cryptocurrencies are still being established in the knowledge, socialization and full utilization of humanity, could the cryptocurrencies cause the use of physical money to be eliminated, is this possible?
I believe it will never happen. Bitcoin can only be use digitally and we can't even hold it in our hands like a physical money. Right now bitcoin is being known worldwide but that doesn't mean it can replace fiat money because there is always a big difference between the two. Bitcoin is a digital currency where we can use as a payment system and we can only use it thru the use of the internet connection and without the internet we cannot proceed our transactions, unlike physical money where we can use on our daily living and we know that fiat money is very inportant. And the fact that  not all people can afford to use bitcoin, it's merely impossible for it to eliminate physical money.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: December 29, 2017, 05:01:30 AM
bitcoins are just like shells or furs in ancient times - of course they are not banknotes or coins, but it's money, because they have all the functions of money
for me we can consider Bitcoin as an alternative to traditional government issued money, where people can use as a payment system. Therefore bitcoin is also money because we also use it to pay our bills online and the only difference is we cannot hold it like a fiat money because it is stored a a specially designed digital wallet where we have an access to it.

"...from the perspective of economic theory, whether a digital currency may be considered to be money depends on the extent to which it acts as a store of value, a medium of exchange and a unit of account."
