The number of altcoin that popping up sometimes for me to think how bitcoin 10 years from now  Is it still exist or has been replaced with a new type of better currency ? Many altcoins can now be traded with local currency and other altcoins and are not fixated on bitcoins. Question: 1. What is your Prediction ? 2. And what the reason ? For me it is understandable to lost money when you are newbie in trading I was experience the same before but far less amount than what you have loss. I suggest buy only coins that are in top 10 in coin market cap dont invest in speculative coins it is very risky. just be patience if you keep buying and selling when it going down your investment will go no where  |

I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
I don't agree that succesful day trading are just luck and not for skill as what your friends said. For me day trading need analytical skill so you may know when is the right time to bought the coins and when to sold it is not purely luck. |

I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? For me if you prefer long term investment I suggest you have to hold Bitcoin it is already tested how resilient bitcoin is so many bearish market have passed but still Bitcoin able to survive. for alt coins the return is more higher to bitcoin but the risk is also higher and its prices still depend on bitcoin price. |

As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.
This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't tell anyone about this, including my wife.

Thread starter refering to January 2018 and at the time eth was hit 1200+$ though after fhat all timetme high it drops significantly which even drag down by the price of bitcoin with its current price now it is very tempting to add more and once the bearish market is over hopefully we can touch again to the 1k$ level. |
