241  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Chinese man jailed for 3.5 years after stealing electricity to mine bitcoin on: October 12, 2018, 03:52:06 PM
A man in China has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after stealing electricity from a train network in order to mine bitcoin. Xu Xinghua from Shanxi province pleaded guilty to stealing 104,000 yuan (£11,300), which was used to mine 3.2 bitcoins. Given the current price of bitcoin, 3.2 bitcoins is worth only a little more than what was stolen, however in times past it would be worth a lot more.

(this is the article : https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/bitcoin-mining-china-prison-train-electricity-cryptocurrency-energy-environment-a8577791.html)
I think their idea is very bad by stealing electricity and the railroad network, making money not by bringing disaster, but by working perfectly.
Actually there are many jobs besides stealing, by joining this forum can also make money.
242  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The only way to connect the whole world is by bitcoin. on: October 12, 2018, 03:46:14 PM
I think To the countries of the whole world Accept the bitcoin What will happen with bitcoin will make the currency world interconnected What can you think
I think everyone is connected to bitcoin, everything is connected via the network, what else do you think if everything is connected?
Maybe your question must be fixed again, or are you still a beginner to get to know the world of bitcoin?
243  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why tax money/BTC? on: October 12, 2018, 03:38:13 PM
but i do agree that bitcoin should be exempt from taxes, kudos to europe which apparently did understand this, and i'm lucky that i live in the euro zone and not in the usa...
I think if bitcoin runs online, or on the internet, it might not be taxed, because bitcoin is everywhere, how they get taxes, while they don't know who the owner is, what they know is the wallet address, I think it's right to be free tax.
244  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: General use of bitcoin as a legal currency on: October 12, 2018, 03:28:01 PM
I've heard many of my companions say the bitcoin is the greatest invention in the decade.. But I wonder why every country don't accept this as a legal currency in their general transactions?
In some countries there are those who give permission for the use of bitcoin, but there are also countries that do not give permission for the use of bitcoin, because their country has a legal umbrella for the use of their original currency.
That is the importance of using bitcoin, if the government supports bitcoin maybe in some countries it will definitely reduce poverty.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still worth mining bitcoin in 2018 ? on: October 11, 2018, 03:31:07 PM
My question is if it's still worth buying Asic's and start mining BTC in 2018.

If not mine BTC what other coin is it worth to mine nowadays?
I think there are some other similar threads are available on our forum so it is better to search before asking questions.

The bitcoin mining profits maybe not effective because of increase in the mining difficulty of bitcoin but it still give earnings.
I suggest you to mine monero because difficult level is very less and the coin is also undervalued so if you can mine some monero nowadays it will give good profits when its price bumps.GPU mining is the best available way to mine monero.

I agree with your opinion, monero still has the potential to mine, but it should be noted that at the moment the situation is very bad, because market prices have fallen sharply, so if they mine it might not be able to make big profits.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems cryptocurrency will face in the near future? on: October 11, 2018, 03:22:24 PM
the biggest challenge in my opinion has always been the large number of shitcoins that keep being created and all the scams that they are performing so that they can make more money by scamming the newcomers. this in general is making the whole market look worse.
All people affected by fraud are people who are new to the world of coins, including the emergence of some of the latest coins, so that victims affected by fraud will be lured to make payments according to the request of the perpetrator.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: October 11, 2018, 03:12:48 PM
Of the entire population of bitcoin users around the world, only 1.3% of people who use bitcoin as an exchange / payment tool, this is quite sad. There are many factors that make people reluctant to use bitcoin as a payment / exchange tool, one of which is a government ban and legislation in every country.
Yes, right, if the government gives permission to use bitcoin, maybe the whole world is greatly helped in their economic needs, but it is necessary to approach the government so that they also support the use of bitcoin, so that everyone is helped in overcoming economic problems.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree? on: October 09, 2018, 04:38:43 PM
If Bitcoin is king of cryprocurrency, then Ethereum is the king of all ICOs ,do you agree?  Stella, neo and no other blockchain has hosted ICO than other than Ethereum.

You are right, I agree with your words, Ethereum is the best coin I have ever seen, if Ethereum has dropped it not to fall so much, and will soon rise again, and Ethereum is most widely used to run projects, coins that have high potential.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: October 09, 2018, 04:32:48 PM
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?
I think you've just made a joke, how can the next bitcoin become litecoin?
It makes no sense the next bitcoin is Litecoin, because Litecoin is very far from Bitcoin, and the Litcoin movement is old, but potential coins are ethereum, because it is very close to bitcoin.
250  Economy / Economics / Re: The US dollar is gaining strength on: October 09, 2018, 04:05:19 PM
A strong dollar will impact positively on cryptocurrencies. It is the most outstanding fiat the all exchanges have to exchange against cryptos. Therefore it will inspire confidence in the market.
I think if the dollar rises, of course it will have a negative impact on the economy in some countries.
For those who understand the crypto world, of course that will have a positive impact.
For those who do not understand the world of crypto will be a problem, because all their needs will increase due to rising dollars.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: October 09, 2018, 03:50:16 PM
1.  i think ico should be removed. because the frauds have multiplied and people are now having difficulty in distinguishing the truth.
First point:
Sorry if ico has been deleted, what is the fate of ico already running?

2. if there is no money to develop the project, please do not try to project it. also from the ico when it comes to the stock market is not 3k 5k. even lower than the price you get. because the investor does not know which one to buy.
Second point:
All depends on the price of bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin rises, then the price of ico will increase, if the price of bitcoin falls, the price of ico also falls.
so they develop projects based on market prices.

3. no one is buying token, my regimen does not want to spend 3 or 5 years. when it gets 10% higher than it bought.
Third point:
If they take part in the ico project, of course they have to reach hardcap, they can sell tokens, depending on hardcap.

4. there are hundreds of projects in each stock exchange. Someone stop them.
Fourth point:
Perhaps the best thing to stop is the latest ico, because many of the latest ico have caused fraud.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunter's Problem on: October 07, 2018, 04:05:21 PM
It's that True if you are a truly bounty hunter you will experienced to promote a scam project ico ?

If you are a bounty hunter and you are not careful enough, yes, there's a good chance you'll promote scam projects too.
And I know that it's hard to find the bounty, join before the limited number of places fills up and also research the background of the project you'll promote.
Yes, you are right, now many are promoting prize hunters which leads to fraud, it seems they have to be careful and have to do research before they promote fraudulent projects.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not know which ICO is good to follow ? on: October 07, 2018, 03:08:25 PM
I'm also a new in this business, hopefully we can catch those ICO's that has good potential. And me, as a new crypto enthusiasts, I'm always asking to my very close friends that already knows about ICO, because they are people who have a high knowledge about crypto business. So to the new member on crypto business, if you are doubt on ICO's just find a friend that already a master in crypto business, and keep asking them on what best thing to do to catches good potentials ICO.
That's right, of course we have to look for ICOs that have good potential, but must with their own research, because there are so many ICOs that lead to fraud now.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you tell people? on: October 07, 2018, 09:07:50 AM
People do not believe in crypto currency.  They say that crypto is not fixed.  As fiat - gold.  Where does the value of crypts come from?  What do you tell people?
I think, you need to read a lot, and you have to know crypto or virtual money.
When did you join this forum?
if you have been in this forum for a long time, of course you already know crypto.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bans bitcoin on: October 06, 2018, 05:42:17 PM
Facebook will work to understand which ads are deceptive or misleading, and gradually promote the policy. Facebook, including its other platforms, including Instagram, will not allow ads like "buy bitcoins with your retirement fund!"
I do not think that all of these ads will be deleted by Facebook, because there are several advertisements that lead to fraud, there are some non-fraudulent advertisements, depending on permission requests from Facebook.
256  Other / Meta / Re: Notification of logging in to the account on: October 06, 2018, 05:29:11 PM
I think, is it necessary to add notifications when I want to enter a bitcointalk account. There must be notification via email, 2fa or cellphone.

To reduce crime by irresponsible people or people who have hacked personal bitcointalk accounts.
Do you think that is necessary?
It could definitely be useful, but i don't really see it as a priority. If my account were to be hacked i could surely react a lot faster though.

Something that has been suggested a lot already and something that i'd love to see even more is 2FA, either by email, SMS, or even PGP (if that's possible), for a new, unknown login. Prevention of a hack is obviously much better.
I believe that this is planned for the new forum though, but who knows when that'll see light of day.

I hope it really happens, and the stronger the security to use a bitcointalk account, and of course that will reduce the risk of crime that has occurred, but do not know when it will respond?
I'm just waiting for advice and input from some friends here?
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government trying to stop bitcoin, what I see on: October 06, 2018, 05:23:21 PM
If even goverments want to stop Bitcoin, then they get it badly. States recognize Bitcoin and this is of great importance. I think in the future goverments will use Bitcoin.
It is impossible for the government to be able to stop Bitcoin, the government work is still a lot of things to do outside, they have to take care of their work as a government.
Bitcoin can't be stopped, because all countries have used Bitcoin trips, I think their government has a ridiculous idea?
258  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers on: October 06, 2018, 05:15:43 PM
Hello there,I have met a few scammers on this forum and i was involved in their scam projects , is there a way to get rid of these scam projects or exposed their names or stop them from running their scam projects?
If you find a scam project, you must display accurate information, so that everyone knows that.
If you don't provide valid evidence, how do these people give answers?

260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who think this time is the end of alt coins on: October 06, 2018, 04:09:34 PM
dear all

now three months gone , but still the market correction going. Most of the days are red. Most coins are 50-90% depreciated.  what do you think about these?

is this a bubble or is this ending coming?  or  normal
But I see something that has developed, but there are still two months to come until the end of 2018, maybe by the end of 2018 market prices will increase.
From my mind, it looks like the market price will be back to normal, as we expected.
