241  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0028 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: August 10, 2014, 01:03:08 PM
Which now makes me wonder. Would all future purchases on the referred account reward to me the 10% commission? Or do they have to access that link every time they make a purchase?

Mike, I know I used your ref link on first purchase, but for my second contract I logged in and purchased a contract directly. Not sure if you got the bonus for that one too.
Well, the ref page states that "You earn commissions from returning customers". I interpret that as a Yes, when people buy again, the original referrer gets credited.
I'm not sure which one is you, greyfoxsylux. The email just states the amount, and there's nothing else in the email that can be linked to anyone. Not that I receive loads of those emails, but I did get two or three in the past days Smiley
No big amounts, but maybe that will change. Guess most people are careful. I see the same sort of thing on PBMining. People buy a small contract and in the following weeks they buy a bigger amount.

I'm not using Multibit. I've got Electrum installed, but I'm not using it until I understand it fully. Or until I understand the restore functions properly! All the memory words and stuff like that confuse me. Mainly I'm using the good ol' original Bitcoin wallet. If I have to reload the entire chain it'll take ... days?! So, just in case of such an unfortunate event, I also use an online wallet. Two actually Smiley

As long we don't pay transaction fees, there is no need to change the sequence of payout days. A dayly payout is good for daytrading, to get dayly c******* interests. *$$* [i.e Yesterday I made about 2% on CEX with earnings from BCS.]
I would like BCS to offer a list in my account of all my dayly payouts with a little %-math as in my last posting, so I don't have to copy&paste them manualy in EXCEL.

I get it, but I'm not a day trader, and I still have to sit down and try and fully understand your wise teachings about comp**nd stuff. But really, I don't have time for day trading as well, so, for me, weekly payments would be just fine. Perhaps you could set up a day trading service and take 10% of the profit Wink

Ritch, I think that's the first post of you that doesn't contain the word compound  Cheesy

@BitcoinCloudServices.com: Finally have a good reason to ask, the new interface stuff, will there be an option to change payout dates? Currently payout is set to once a day. After I've ordered hashrate, in the Details View I see an option Payout Preference: Daily. That suggests other settings are possible. Can it be changed to weekly, or some other settings? And will that be something you can set yourself in the future?  It would be a good feature.
243  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0028 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: August 09, 2014, 01:33:35 PM
Heh, I was reinvesting just about all. Either in hashrate, or in means to get more hashrate, and the how and what of that second part I'll keep to myself, though one part is power consumption at home Cheesy

Now I'm saving a portion of the (Bit)coins I make, and I do not reinvest all at once anymore. Trying to stick to a system of not doing things too quickly, and keeping some for those exceptional opportunities every once in a while. I actually spent some on KNC Miners recently, over 1TH/s for less then a bitcoin. Power isn't cheap here, but I did use earlier profit to buy wind turbine power for the next 15 years, so I can burn a bit more electricity at home. Thinking about doing that again as total power usage was supposed to double, but it's going towards tripling

Okay, for the referral thing, if you gained a referral then you should have received an email stating that you have a referral for 0.0087 BTC or something. Just a number I picked, think that one';s for the minimum amount of hashrate, 40GH/s. But that email contains the exact amount you'll receive. Since BCS offers a 7 days money back guarantee, that amount will be "Unpaid" (yellow dot with rounded down number in the table on the referral page) until after those 7 days. After the 7 days have passed you'll receive the full referral amount as stated in the email at the next payout.
244  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0028 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: August 07, 2014, 09:18:04 PM
Well, big benefit of services like BitcoinCloudServices is that they don't use actual mining income to distribute amongst customers. Instead they use a fixed formula, which means all the quirks of day to day mining have been taken out. No payments below expectation, though also no lucky extra block finds. Not sure if I would compare that to a bank account, but it means income is quite predictable. With some good knowledge, some good hunches about future difficulty increases and a good calculator you can make an educated guess about long term earnings. Use that as a goal and it can hardly be called unobtainable, so no more reason not to keep on mining. If we forget about risk for a bit ... Tongue
245  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0028 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: August 07, 2014, 08:08:13 AM
Temptation is never easy, but it's one of the things I mentioned. Don't act on impulse and stick to the masterplan. Once you get the hang of that you can start thinking about making an exception every once in a while Grin

I don't wait for break even, so I do things a bit faster. Great benefit is that I earn faster, great downside is I also lose more. You can wonder which approach is the better one. But this approach is the one I understand best and I keep progressing further, so I stick to it.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: August 06, 2014, 08:04:32 AM
Well, no issues for me, although I might not be the best one to compare with as I'm mining Megacoin only.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 06, 2014, 07:56:18 AM
Same questions over and over. But they're not going to be answered. I think the Scrypt.CC people are really doing well for themselves (and those that trust them) and don't feel the need to step up to the next level, which would consume so much more time and effort for them. By keeping this "beta" they can follow their own path without too much responsibilities. If you can live with that, join the party. If not, well, there's plenty of others who are more transparent. It's good to have a choice Smiley

Yes Mike you are right... screw the client and the consumer thats what your business moto should be right???
Err... It's not my business Huh
And when it comes to support, I think I've already mentioned they could seriously improve on that, but I don't see that coming, and I'm hugely disappointed about that. I was just saying that they either don't have time or feel a direct need, probably both, to come up with daily (and I not even mean 24/7) support. Now value of altcoin is dropping like mad I don't see that happening at all. With other clouds emerging that do take care of their customers I actually worry. Or not. I think what they will end up with is a "small" amount of customers, each with a large amount of hashrate. Unless they start developing the plans they once had.
248  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: August 03, 2014, 06:27:09 PM
Ah, yes, you are right. I have the entire month of October in my head as exceptional. But it wasn't a single difficulty adjustment that caused the (well over) 100% increase.
249  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: August 03, 2014, 11:26:29 AM
Difficulty is already leveling off. Last year we saw insane inceases. Didn't we see a 100% increase in October? The beginning of this year was already quite a bit lower, and the last two months is again much lower. I was already using an average 15% to calculate future earnings, but even that needs some tuning now.
Decreases will happen when a lot of old miners drop out and not many new ones enter the arena. Not likely, but also not impossible.

But, technology doesn't rest. It's likely someone sooner or later will develop a new chip that's capable of much more. Development of current chips nad miners is also taking us further. I think new machines will go in two directions. One very high powered, very power hungry (though not per GHs perhaps) and very expensive machines for professionals. The other much more like the Antminer S3, very power efficient but low GHs machines for decent prices that home miners will use. Those will be the money makers for the hardware manufacturers. Anything in between will simply sell less.
But all that, in turn, can be changed by Bitcoin value rising beyond $1000 again Wink
250  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: August 02, 2014, 12:28:47 PM
Well, having a double figure load of TH/s will give rewards for up to two years. 5 years... currently needs like triple figure TH/s?! I haven't looked at that. Looked at 20 or or 40TH/s? I had a memory once...
But anyway, the long periods are nice, but basically two years as a max is interesting even for very large amounts of hashrate. But maybe PBM wants to be ready for the 1st 100TH/s account. It won't be me, though I refer any such person gladly and with style.

Ich bin groß geworden mit Der Alte und Derrick. Kein Problem for me. I don't speak it very well, but I understand it just fine. Besides, just look at the numbers.
252  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: July 30, 2014, 07:57:30 PM
Which brings us to the question: what if buying hashrate is no longer profitable? What if running all the equipment you have will start to cost more then it'll make? Obviously the difficulty can't go on forever either without serious impact sooner or later

Declined profitability due to increased costs is within our control.  This is why we set the prices rather than rodeoclown deciding them.   Cheesy
Declined profitability due to difficulty increase is out of our control.  We don't know what the difficulty factor is going to do, and that's the risk we accept.

Business is going great as usual, and these low difficulty adjustments are making the game a lot more interesting.  Smiley

Aww, let rodeoclown set prices for once  Grin

I'm also grateful for the low increases, and I think that's a trend that will continue, with an exception every now and then. Still, the road to Break Evensville is getting longer and longer Sad

Just received an email from GM: Sie haben aufgrund Ihres Affiliate-Code neue Hashpower erhalten!

YAY! Gut news! Thank you very viel.

So... is this a clue about the coming Big Update?!  Grin

diff is not rising too steep nowadays, i think more and more contracts invest time is coming

...

with these rates, pbmining has become the most profitiable cloud mining in the internet i think, any objections?

Not really objecting, though there are a few cheaper ones, also some more expensive ones. Cheaper isn't always better, and more expensive isn't always more secure. But I like to mix Smiley

And yes, difficulty increase seems to be declining. Until new technology builds bigger and better mining stuff maybe. Then again, the Antminer S3 is new, but not more powerful, but more efficient. With current difficulty increases that can be quite interesting. Especially for home miners, such a thing (or even more efficient) might be better then having a monstrous machine in the house that draws so much power it makes the walls glow.
256  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Antminer S2 schiet via DHCP telkens op 127.0.0.1?!! on: July 29, 2014, 04:19:24 PM

257  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0028 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: July 29, 2014, 04:04:59 PM
It's a good start, greyfoxsylux.

If it's all you had, then next time consider not putting all in one place. Either spread it over more services, or simply keep some behind, and very best, both: spread the risk and keep some behind. Especially since you have a lot to protect with your mother.
You might not think it's very much, but what applies to big amounts also applies to small amounts. Plus, it's all you had, so it is much.
Teach yourself these little tricks and rules and stick to them, and later on it becomes natural, and with any luck will prevent you from acting on impulse. Usually impulses make you pay. Then again, yours might be way better then mine. Mine suck in general Smiley
Sticking to pesky rules slow things down, but nothing slows you down worse then losing all you have, believe me. Besides, you(r rules) grow and evolve.

And honestly, I don't have much. True, when converting all investments to dollars it's quite a bit, but I don't hold that kind of money, and what I have in total is built by small (re-)investments here and there, and so on, for months and months and months. And I keep on building, so I still hold nothing. If all of this crypto stuff dies tonight then I'll still have nothing. Though, it's a fun ride and I learn a lot from all things surrounding this. Including peeks in human nature. And my nature. Some surprises there Cheesy

Ow, you might want to put that referral link in your signature though. In general, ref links inside posts will be removed by mods

Geen ervaring met een Antminer, maar kan die de DHCP server wel bereiken? En wat als je handmatig een ipadres/netmask/gateway/dns/etcetera inklopt?!

I do hope things are okay though as the site is still down. Undecided
