241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 08, 2020, 12:07:59 AM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions even when it faster and easier, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. Now how come we make bitcoin come to people.
It's not as easy as you say.  First of all, Bitcoin is not accepted everywhere.  If you can't do anything with your money, is that money worth it?  Suppose you buy food, but Bitcoin is not acceptable wherever you buy food, then you must use local currency.  And there are some older people who are not experienced about online, it is very difficult for them to transact through Bitcoin.  So they are interested in a transaction that takes two or three days without this fast transaction.

243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you're making bitcoin complicated on: October 01, 2020, 07:16:32 PM
There is enough logic in your words.  Despite having enough arguments, I could not agree with your complete statement.  Although many of us are making Bitcoin harder and harder, there are some things we have to say hard.  If a new user asks which wallet is safe to keep bitcoin in, I think it is better to say the hardest wallet.  Because it reduces the fear of losing bitcoin.  If a new user asks me how to earn bitcoin, I will tell him about the signature. By doing so, he will get a much better idea about bitcoin.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If all BTC Gets Bought Up? on: October 01, 2020, 07:06:59 PM
The first thing I want to say is that not all bitcoins on the Bitcoin forum can be purchased by anyone.  It’s an unrealistic thought of yours.  If not for the sake of argument, if the whales want to buy all the bitcoins, then the price of bitcoin will go up a lot.  In that case small miners like us will benefit.

246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: October 01, 2020, 04:35:20 PM
Honestly, I have saved the seeds of my wallet, i.e. private keys, in my Facebook Messenger.  And I saved some wallet seeds in the telegram.  And as a backup, I have written all my seeds in my diary so that if there is any problem online, my seeds are fine offline.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good Morning from a Non-Bitcoiner on: October 01, 2020, 04:11:20 PM
Reading his message, I understand that he has known about Bitcoin for a long time.  Otherwise he wouldn't be able to write about Bitcoin. Since you haven't been in touch with him for a long time, I think he's got an idea about bitcoin.  However, the words of his message are really logical.  I really like the last line of his message Invest in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: October 01, 2020, 03:37:05 PM
I also can't wait for the Supermarket to accept bitcoin for paying the bill. For me it easier and safer when you pay through bitcoin and another advantage here is if you are lazy to carry your wallet or cold cash just pay through bitcoin and it's more easy than carrying you wallet and pay cash.

That's a good idea, but I prefer it when I want to pay bills or buy goods in e-commerce using bitcoin because I'm lazy to leave the house especially during the current pandemic.
We are all eagerly awaiting this news.  Like you, I am a lazy person. I also want to shop with bitcoin from e-commerce sites.  Although ridiculous, it is true that if bitcoin is accepted in supermarkets, then bitcoin will also be accepted in e-commerce sites.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Twitter Mentions Dropped To 2 Year Low on: October 01, 2020, 03:26:37 PM
We are all familiar with the word propaganda.  I sincerely believe that the more you promote something, the more it will grow in value.  Suppose you have produced a good quality product, but ordinary people know nothing about your product.  Then surely your product will not find a good market.  It seems to me that the mention of Bitcoin on Twitter is declining.  Doesn't this mean that people are losing interest in Bitcoin?
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French police arrest terror financing ring that used Bitcoin coupons on: October 01, 2020, 02:05:49 PM
Bitcoin is a currency.
Any currency can be used for evil means.

Dont terrorists and drug dealers use USD as well?
Bitcoin is just a currency.
I totally agree with you that Bitcoin is just a currency.  Bad things can happen to any currency.  Drug mafias can continue their bad activities with any currency. It could be a paper coin, it could be a gold coin.  Similarly, drug mafias can transact money through bitcoin. However, it is also through bitcoin that they get an additional benefit.  For example, there is no problem in clearing bank accounts.  So many times bad people use Bitcoin as a secure medium of transaction.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Nigerians buy bitcoin on loss? on: October 01, 2020, 01:53:55 PM
No one does business at a loss, everyone has to accept that.  I agree with what CryptopreneurBrainboss said.  There is no room for disagreement with his arguments.  However, I would like to express some of my own views. Many times rumors spread in poor and least developed countries and these rumors are believed by the common people without any thought or analysis.  The same thing can happen with Bitcoin.  There may be rumors in Nigeria that the price of bitcoin will go up a lot in a few days, so maybe ordinary bitcoin users want to buy and hold bitcoin at a higher price.  So they are buying bitcoin at a higher price.
Special Note: This is totally my own opinion.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate on: October 01, 2020, 01:11:28 PM
I do not believe that Bitcoin is more valuable than gold and real estate.  Gold prices are very stable but Bitcoin is never stable. I sincerely believe that investing in gold and real estate is a thousand times better than investing in Bitcoin. If you believe in Bitcoin and like to take risks, investing in Bitcoin will bring you good results.  But if you are afraid and do not want to take risks, then you should invest in gold and real estate business.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Question to Crypto users about its security on: September 24, 2020, 07:30:08 PM
There is enough logic in your words.  If the bank loses money, there is a chance to get it back, but once the cryptocurrency goes into someone else's account, it is impossible to get it back if he does not want to pay.  Again, if someone dies, what will happen to his accumulated cryptocurrency?  One of my suggestions here is that you can keep your password or private key in a safe place.  So that your next generation can take your money using this private key.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: September 24, 2020, 07:18:44 PM
There is no doubt that blockchain is a good career.  If you have enough experience then you can earn enough dollars from here.  The demand for those who have technical skills is always high.
255  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Telegram groups for Bitcoin on: September 24, 2020, 07:03:49 PM
Would love to speak to some of yall when it comes to speaking about current bitcoin news and all things bitcoin so I'd like to know if anyone knows about a group on Telegram that is used for Bitcoin?

I've seen many groups that are used for altcoin trader, whale trading, and so on but am yet to find a group on just bitcoin but I would guess it's out there.

Thanks!
Telegram Group for Bitcoin !!  Is there really something like that?  I did not know that there is such a thing.  However, there are some telegram groups for trading from where the signal is given.  But Telegram Group for Bitcoin is really very ridiculous.
256  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk, as a financial institutes. on: September 24, 2020, 06:50:36 PM
I totally agree with you.  Bitcoin is a platform that has taught us to dream.  Those of us who used to waste time watching mobile games, video games, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube day and night have become self-sufficient thanks to this platform.  Just as there are good people on this platform, there are also bad ones.  These bad guys will always want to cheat on you.  There are some new members who have entered this platform without understanding the work of Bounty Management.  Sometimes they work with bounty hunters without any payment.  I have a suggestion for newcomers, you work hard.  Please don't spam.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 24, 2020, 06:31:30 PM
When i have time i go to local market to check prices

Vegetable prices doubled
Fruit prices doubled
Meat prices around 30% increase
Grain products around 20% increase
...

And my country  is a exporter of food products

How is it in your country ? Same ?

----------------------

My country is Romania

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-04-10/food-supply-fears-are-growing-as-romania-bans-grain-exports

We tried to ban exports of grain ,but stupid EU intervened...
Ever since the problem of this pandemic started, the prices of all kinds of products have skyrocketed.  The price of one product has gone up by almost 100% to 200%. The most interesting thing is that the price of onion has gone up by 500% in my country. I don't know when this pandemic problem will end and when the market will be stable.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 24, 2020, 06:15:51 PM
Bangladesh not trying to reject the idea of quarantine, all they are asking to train separately during 14 days quarantine period. The main reason is after 14 days of quarantine, they are left with only 4 days for training which is not enough, then one 3 days practice match before series kickstart.

Since SLCB will be hosting them, the BCB needs to obey their directives. There is no point in escalating this any further. The Bangladesh squad can reach two weeks earlier and by doing this they will get enough time to train even after the mandatory quarantine. I would rather side with SLCB in this case. They have the right to make sure that the visitors doesn't bring Coronavirus with them. Bangladesh is one of the worst affected countries as far as the pandemic is concerned, while Sri Lanka has remained relatively free from it.
Yes I agree with you.  If the Bangladesh team arrives in Sri Lanka two weeks ago, it will have enough time for practice.  No country will want to take extra risk during this pandemic.  On top of that, Bangladesh is above all in terms of attack.  I don't understand why the BCB president is saying that players cannot stay in quarantine for more than 7 days.  I don't understand what's wrong with being in quarantine for more than seven days.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 24, 2020, 05:43:48 PM
My response was directed to vishnu's comment, he was implying or exaggerating that Team India depends on Kohli in the limited over cricket.

On test cricket they do depends on him, Everybody knows what happened in last English tour. But there are some other players already exist in the current test team who rise on the occasion time to time, already mentioned 2 examples (Rahane, Pujara) and to add one more name here, Mayank Aggarwal -- no one should forget his inning on Boxing day test match.

Rahane and Pujara are good players. But then the problem is with consistency. They fail to rise to the occasion, when they are needed the most. And Mayank Aggarwal is not even a regular in the test squad. For me, the Indian test squad still looks like a one-man army, especially in the bowler friendly pitches. But they are not as dependent as they were in the 90s, when Sachin Tendulkar was the backbone of batting.
There was a time when VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar built a mountain of runs for India.  That team at that time was the best team in the history of Indian Tests.  There are still some players in the Indian team who are very good for Tests.  Such as Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli.  They are individual test experts.  Not without adding Mayank Agarwal's name to them.  There is no denying that Mayank Agarwal is now one of the leading Test players in the Indian team.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 24, 2020, 05:27:03 PM
I do not think there will be requirement for Raina but his experience in middle order and in crucial stages does help the team. At the moment if he comes back he will need to sit for sometime now.
Raina is someone who is capable of scoring runs quickly. CSK needs someone like him in the middle order. During the last match, both Rayudu and du Plessis scored the runs for them, but if not for Sam Curran they could have lost the match. Du Plessis in particular was scoring runs very slowly, as he made runs at a strike rate of 132. It is understandable, considering the fact that almost half of the squad is aged around 35 years.
Had Raina, maybe CSK's team would have been more balanced.  But not having Raina is not a big problem.  The current team combination has been much better.  Players like Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Faf Duplessis, and Ms Dhoni can turn the game around at any time.  So I don't think Raina will have much of an impact on the team.
