242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH or Ripple? on: May 21, 2018, 04:27:29 AM
Ripple can rebounce to 3 $, I would chose XRP and it is implemented in a lot of big companies like international banks. I bet on XRP rather than on Ethereum.
But both coins are good for long term investment

Both ripple and etherum are good very impressive altcoins. But if I have to choose between the two I wil choose ethereum for a long term holding. Surely with no second thought I know ethereum is so worth it.
243  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: May 20, 2018, 02:29:03 PM
merit is an appreciation for every person who makes the thread constructively and qualitatively, so if anyone sells the merit is breaking the rules and has gone out of purpose making the merit itself ...
So for everyone do not try to sell it because if caught selling merit will get punishment from this forum moderator.

I understand that merit is an award given to members for making posts of above average quality. But I hope everybody is given a fair share when it comes to decision of evaluating what are above average posts should be.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: May 20, 2018, 01:29:39 PM
It's a beautiful question! My choice is investment in education because wisdom and title are lifelong ones. But the bitcoin is ok with no title title even bitcoin bit more than education. So far I have to invest in education .. Thanks ..

Same with me I choose education because it is very important for an individual. It is the best asset that a person could have. It cannot be stolen and always remains yours. Bitcoin is something that anyone can have. No title needed and can be access everywhere as long as reach with the internet access. And any age is welcome in bitcoin.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PURPOSE OF TOKEN? on: May 19, 2018, 02:14:07 PM
Hi guys, this just bother me long time ago, and just popped up recently..

What is the purpose of token?

I can not figure it out because I have one token before and I did not know how to use it and I can not even transfer it to bitcoin. I am just wondering why people keep inventing and creating so much token at all.
I hope I can get POSITIVE response and not some hates and negative one.

Thank you.

A token is similar to a coin (altcoin) it is a reward given by an ICO after a bounty campaign.
If you trade your token in the trading site you have a chance of earning money in your own currency out of it or you can invest it into another coin.
You missed the chance of having it because you are lack of knowledge about it. Next time I suggest you ask someone who is experienced in cryptocurrency to help you.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why China banned bitcoin? on: May 19, 2018, 01:37:33 PM
They have not banned but simply wait for the government to start regulating the entire crypto market. China is positive and sees great potential in this. And as far as I am aware, China was planning to release its cryptocurrency!

Chinese regulators cited concerns about money laundering and illicit activity as reasons for why they shuttered digital currency exchanges in the first place. Nonetheless, the fact that the cryptocurrency world is largely decentralized means that many investors are predicting it will just find a way around the Chinese ban. We cannot do anything about it because they also have the right to do what their government think the best for Chinese people.

247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL? on: May 18, 2018, 02:40:33 AM
Hold-hold-hold; current situation is not good to sell such an amount; for me it'll be perfect if you sell after moon jump which will probably happen after PoS system update.

Hold your ETH, you have a good coin in your hands dont let it go. You’ll see how good it is that you hold after 5 years. Ethereum is a very potential and most impressive coin. There is no way you will regret of holding it.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: May 17, 2018, 02:33:48 PM
I wish not. Cryptocurrency is a great help and a big opportunity for everyone to earn extra money.
This is a great help for everyone who spend their time in front of computer.

Yes, I hope it will not happen in the Philippines because many filipino bitcoiners will be affected. They should try to weigh things first before jumping into a decision to ban bitcoin. Sometimes it is always important to double check our  investment. It is a lesson to be learned that we should not trust our money to just any people. They should have known what is legit bitcoin transactions versus scams/fraud.
249  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Give me advice pls! (Online shop) on: May 17, 2018, 02:56:12 AM
Of you have the skills to cook and prepare food then I strongly suggest opening up a food business even small or just a stall that will accept Bitcoin payments. I don't think something like that exists currently and I know it would be a likely hit as everyone needs food and food is quite an easy product to sell. But I think what's important here is to have a very strategic position that has lots of foot traffic and people who have the idea about Bitcoins. I think it is a convenient way as you can eat on the go then just pay the amount in Bitcoin equivalent.

Another business I might be thinking is a transportation service where passengers can just pay through Bitcoin as everyone is in a hurry these days. Just ride then go.

I would suggest an online business that sells all kinds of signature and original branded products. Like shoes, bags, watches, clothings and etc. I think it is very timely and into technology. Yes, because I’ve been looking for an online shop that accepts bitcoin as payment. Just like the Amazon doing but only difference is the currency used.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin BANNED in bolivia on: May 16, 2018, 02:23:12 PM
Bolivia became the fourth country to completely prohibit bitcoin and crypto-currency, where you can go to jail.
In addition, such countries are Bangladesh, Nepal and Algeria.

Some countries have bitcoin banned due to some reasons. With all due respect to them they just did what they believe is good for the country and there people. We should understand and respect the laws and constitution of other countries like Bolivia.
251  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good bitcointalk signature campaigns coming up? on: May 16, 2018, 08:17:57 AM
Does anyone know of any good signature campaigns for ICO's coming up in the next few months? The current one I'm doing will end in early April so I'm starting to look for the next one.

Try the Amazix bounties. Proven and tested good ICO. Very good and experienced bounty  managers. Very accommodating, approachable and helpful. I have tried lots of their bounties and really nice so far.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: May 16, 2018, 04:04:53 AM
This issue has been raised many times. In other matters, one can understand those who are interested in this issue Smiley
I think that ETH is rather young cryptocurrency but with great potential. In long term perspective it is very likely that ETH will catch up with BTC but not in 2018.

It is not impossible to happen. Well, maybe it can happen but not sooner than we think. Bitcoin is far of reach because the price as we can see is very high compared to ethereum. But we cannot deny that there is a big possibility for it to happen.

254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: May 15, 2018, 04:33:04 AM
It depends completely on the market rates and that is how you must decide on this.

Holding needs not big experience or strategy we need just patience for some years if you do that you will be get a good profit and also some income every months.

Holding your coin is a good decision because most of the time ai have observed that bitcoin’s price usually goes up during the fourth quarter of the year. Maybe because of christmas season. So if you hold a certain coin it has a big chances to gain profit by the year-end.
255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What was the $price of [btc] on the day of your joining BitCoinTalk? on: May 14, 2018, 12:54:49 AM
Hello everyone, when I just found out about the Crypto currency, the price was about $ 3000. When I registered at this forum the price was about 10,000 dollars

I remember the time I joined bitcoin last year, the price is about $16,000. That's why I become really interested so I joined.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Cryptocurrency to invest 2018? on: May 13, 2018, 09:39:48 AM
I will invest in Daostack, atonomy and nex projects. It is not an investment recommendation, but I believe it is a good project. It's up to you, though.

There are lots of potential coins I must say but bitcoin is still the best. Ethereum basically is the second and so far a very stable coin. This year this two coins as usual be taking the lead among other coins in crypto world.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: May 13, 2018, 06:19:21 AM
because many are interested in bitcoin, so many people expect bitcoin to remain stable. because if bitcoin is unstable then bitcoin enthusiasts will decrease, so bitcoin price must remain stable even increase

Yes, stability of bitcoin is very important to sustain our investment and to assure that after a long term holding we can gain out of our initial investment. Its volatility is the big problem to be specific. But even we know that is how bitcoin behaves many people around the globe believe and keep on hoping that it will become stable one day.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 12, 2018, 03:34:59 AM
Everything is about luck Undecided

Luck is the major factor obviously, analysis also plays a role in prediction betting, but the skill in gambling is not about winning the game. It is about knowing when to stop, knowing how to stop, and managing the risk involved. Say even if you are on a good streak of winning, the profit would mean nothing if you don't stop gambling and instead losing it later. Controlling yourself, trying not to get carried away, those are the real skills.
In terms of getting the whole point in this topic its right that knowing when to stop and how will make you win but in skills and experience is not the same thing as well as luck. In short they are all different from each other while experience as a topic. Experience is also a lesson and with it we explore the things that can possibly make us win if we do repeat it or not. Experience matters more than luck because luck is not there with you at all times experience will.
Yes, its all about the luck. Since experienced in gambling doesn't help us in winning the game because we always have no assurance to win at every round of the game, the only constant about gambling is the alternation of winning and losing moment. What experienced can help us about gambling is the ability to have a good decision making and self control every time we bet.

Yeah, although we can say gambling is all about luck but somehow being an experienced gambler is somewhat advantageous. An experienced gambler knows more and can handle different types of pressure when playing. And sometimes if you feel comfortable when you play it adds positive energy to come up a positive result.
259  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paraan para iwas HACK on: May 12, 2018, 12:08:15 AM

260  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the worst thing did you did in crypto world? on: May 11, 2018, 12:19:17 PM
Getting scam from the ICOs project is the worst thing I did in crypto world, some scam projects I've ever followed and exposed are Bitcad, Snapup, ETHBooks, and so on, but from the lesson it makes me have to understand with ICO so as not to get scam anymore.

The worst thing I have done since I joined crypto is when I thought of holding my tokens I earned from a bounty campaign. And thinking all the while that it is still there in my wallet. Later I found out that somebody else is holding it for me. My tokens got stolen, my wallet got hacked. That was my worst experience in cryto. And never will I allow myself to be victimized again.
