241  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 17, 2013, 05:27:34 PM
I think we should use the time extra time that we now have productively.

Maybe a fully functioning K16 could be assembled (with sample chips), by either Steamboat, or BkkCoins (or somebody else), and be used to make sure CG miner works with it just fine.

Maybe explore some overclocking options on it, do some benchmarks, that sort of thing, and post them, so that people know what to expect.

Hopefully, that will get everything running smoothly once the chips DO get here.

Get rid of all the negativity...man...it's like walking into a total bitchfest on these forums lately.

K16's have been assembled and mining for about 3 weeks now by bkkcoins.  Cgminer works just fine..  I am not sure if anyone aside from Bkkcoins has the K16 or has burned any ASICs to them... I'm currently a few weeks from receiving my K1 and K16 boards.. I have one of these stupid avalons already sitting on my laptop from the samples sent out from sebastianJu's kindness... If anyone would like to donate more chips I could open threads to show the process of burning them to K16's.. which I will being doing for the K1 and usb dongle soon.. wish me luck.. at this time I have only one shot at getting it right =)
242  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 219 Avalon chips - steamboat's group buy - Batch #4 - Early order May 28- on: August 17, 2013, 05:21:35 PM
I will pay the original group buy price of 0.086 BTC per chip... Perhaps it would be wise to consider selling for less than the gamble you placed on avalon shipping.. now that it is even more likely they will not ship.

32 @ 0.086 is my offer.

If i buy some chips off batch 2 from a user can I have it escrowed and sent directly to me and not a burning company.. I can put the chips on my own boards.

Thanks!

Releasing Earnings Calculator for our HashFast Group Buy  Cool

Rising difficulties are going exponential.. is there any reason why it is not practical to look at the bottom of the list for your profits / week.  I don't think it's crazy to see 250,000,000 difficulty by the time we start hashing on these.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone use btcrobot.com? on: August 15, 2013, 06:30:38 PM
If you were really interested in a Trading Bot... wouldn't you want to be looking at thread like this?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261086.0

We still don't even know what the best algorithm is to use on the market.. there probably isn't one best algorithm anyway... you guys must know way more than us statistician.

There is tons of open source code out there.. and no real trading bot from what I gather.  I hope your test purchase isn't already being spent on crack!

Regards!

It was more like 24-48 hours between their twp emails.. I didn't get the first message that I had sent a ticket posted right away... I never tried re-sending to the address that wasn't working.. I just sent to a different address.

253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Send BTC on: August 14, 2013, 09:57:02 PM
I am having a K1 PCB sent to me this week so I can create a DIY thread and youtube videos showing everyone how to use Avalon ASIC chips to compete with data mining companies.

Not sure if Avalon will be able to ship with current "difficulties" shall we say.  But it will still be a cool experiment... I have one sample chip sent to me from the kindness of the community and will begin working as soon as the K1 shows up.. stay tuned!

Also donations to get to work on the K16 board and DIY project will result the resources needed to try the DIY approach to the true 16 and 64 chip miners.

KEEP IN MIND

Who knows if ASICs are even a viable method for mining.  Don't send donations if you are trying to get some ROI from DIY threads on these machines.. It really is a lot of work putting them together.. but it is possible.  Probably just a washed up science project hope on my end.

Lulz on the coin begs.. here's another ;p

I got a reply back from my support ticket.

"Hello Vox,

However please drop a line if you were able to withdraw after a while. We appreciate your patience and sincere apologies for the inconveniences caused.
