My price prediction is $50-100 01.01.2018. 2X is a hostile take over attempt that hopefully, and most likely will fail. You can already sell your 2x coins on bitfinex. The current price is 0.12551 bitcoin. Hopefully the 2x fork never happens, but if it do I hope it don't cause much problems for bitcoin. It doesn't look like the Fork is doing something to the ONION'S price, it's stays at the level of it's price close to $1. After fork it could possibly go to $2-3 price again. The price of DeepOnion is driven by speculation. The price is will go up and down with the likelihood that we one day will choose to use DeepOnion to buy goods and services. The two most extreme scenarios: If the development stops and the devs dumps their premine the price will drop to 0. If the devs come out with some new revolutionary functions that disrupts the current market of anonymous coins, the price will rise exceptionally. Where we are: Everyone particpating in the airdrop, everyone buying coins and everyone working for the project are helping DeepOnion to survive and grow. Community is key, and DeepOnions greatest strenght. As long as the devs delivers on their roadmap and the community keeps backing the project success gets ever more likely. And with success new developers will join, and the community grows. It is an exciting project to be part of. The lack of a proper exchange is holding DeepOnion back. Novaexhange has to little volume to let new investors buy in, and for those wanting to sell to get out. It is important to get solid investors in at this stage, and the main reason why it is important to get listed somewhere else. |

I wonder what a token swap brings compared to airdropping a totally new eBTC coin. The swap will probably never be fully complete, leaving one original eBTC token in play and one new 'original' eBTC token. Could be confusing as hell.
Any gen1 eBTC tokens that remain in the wild after the swap will be replaced during the swap with gen2 eBTC. For example, if only 19 million eBTC are returned during the swap, The gen2 eBTC will have 21 million tokens available for the swap, any gen2 tokens that are not swapped and remain will be added to the development funds or airdropped to gen2 eBTC holders. Trading will be paused at a block #, after this the current gen1 token will be delisted from Mercatox, ED & Dec and then the gen2 token will take its place retaining the eBTC ticker. I said if before ok the last page, there’s a few people trying to scare people off the swap, I’d much prefer that every single gen1 token is swapped but unfortunately in the event that someone doesn’t return their tokens they will be added to development funds or airdropped, and I have a feeling that some people on the last few pages would prefer they get a larger airdrop if more people decide too not return. Sound like a well thought out plan. I agree that a swap is the best solution. And to use some of "unswapped" coins for small future airdrops, bounties or signature campaigns is also a great way to fund development and marketing. |

Can i also registrate with my paper wallet. I don't know how to sign message with paperwallet.  i have a paper wallet too. i downloaded the bitcore wallet to an offline computer, imported the private key from the paper wallet and signed. it never needs to touch the internet to get a signed message. This is the correct way to do it. I was about to post an answer to suggest exactly this, but you beat me to it.  |

1. Buy bitcoin. 100% bitcoin and nothing else.
2. Don't trust anyone telling you to buy something else. If you want to invest in alts you have to do your own research.
You will miss some great oppurtunities when not investing in alts. Projects that will outperform bitcoin short term. But the chance that you buy into some scam is much greater.

You need to backup your wallet. Go to: C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Bitcore Backup of the following file: wallet.dat You can install bitcore on a different pc and replace the wallet.dat with the file you backed up. |

Er klar over det, har man ikke kontroll på egne keys så eier man ikke noe som helst. Overfører selvsagt fra Kraken til adresser som jeg kontrollerer selv. Hvis en sepa overføring tar 30 min er tid et dårlig argument. Sist gang jeg overførte med sepa tok det et par døgn. Du må også ta hensyn til transaksjonskostnaden. 10 more days? the there will be more days after 10 days? You should work hard to make it launch as soon as possible, people does not like to wait too long especially if you keeps on delaying the launch of your site. You have a very nice start on this thread, but now it may turn to the worst if you cant work on it as scheduled. Dont make people start forgetting and leaving your upcoming project because of the delays.

I’d like to run a smooth beta where players can give me input of their experience, without having to come by any bugs etc. unfortunately, I can not hurry up! It doesn’t quite work like that. I will update you all personally once I have more information. Smooth the bugs out, we can wait. Just lack of options making most of us jumpy and chomping at the bit. Sent a pm to be added to beta test, would really appreciate spinning the wheels and seeing how it goes. I agree. There is really no need to rush things. If I had to hold something for 2-3 years without any possibility of selling I would make these considerations:
1. Only invest a very small amount. New more promising projects will definatly come around and I would rather wait for those.
2. A lot of coins/tokens/projects will be dead and abandoned in 2-3 years. How likely is it that the project will be replaced by something more "shiny"?
3. Because of 2, I would look for projects that have already survived for years, that still are under active development, but with a small marketcap.
Peercoin is a good candidate for this kind of, "buy and forget", investing.

Extremely happy with the development around DeepOnion and great work on the new wallet release plus DeepVault! Also, always great to see a buy order of 30665.71631922 ONIONS on NovaExchange (Pretty sure it was a 45K ONION when first placed). Users starting to realize ONIONS are worth a big investment That order had a demand of over 50K onions. I am happy to see that DeepVault has been released. I will try that feature as fast as possible. This project is under overall development - technical and social. You can't see that in many other projects. I am glad to be one of the airdrop participators. And someone dumped enough to remove the wall. It is very healthy that new investors buys up a lot of cheap onions allowing those who want to dump to get out. This is much needed liquidity, but we really need a new exchange soon which will allow more investors to get in on the project. |

I don't think btc gold with get much attention. In my opinion it is a completly unnecessary project only designed to make certain people money. It is really just a scam.
The price will probably follow the same line as bcash. Way overvalued the first hours when the available supply on the exchanges are limited, followed by dumps. But without any signifcant pumps like we saw with bcash. And the price will slide from probably $2-300 to around $50 on 01.01.2018.

The downtrend will continue until it suddenly stops. I don't think we have seen the last of bcash. Roger and Jihan have put to much money and prestige in this scam just to let it fade away. They will get desperate and pump it up again. They might even have a plan. The outcome of the 2x fork will also affect bcash. |

is the nova exchange is the best ? can someone tell me whats the best site to exchange ? Novaexchange is the only exchange to have listed DeepOnion so far. It is not a popular exchange and the overall volume is very low. I would not really advice anyone to use it, but I have never had any problem there myself. Just don't keep any funds on exchanges. Deposit, trade and withdraw to your own wallet. |

Trends like these have always occured here. Just look back at the wave of country coins, anonymous coins, pot coins and so on. One succesfull project launches a whole lot of copycats. In a few days/weeks this will be forgotten. And it will be interesting to see if some of the coins, specially eBTC, can survive and gain value long term. I think that is quite likely.

Short term i would invest in DeepOnion. It is just a matter of time before it is added to a larger exchange and that will most likely lead to a new pump.
If you want to invest $3000 in alt coins I really hope you own bitcoin. If not, just buy bitcoin and HODL.
