I think there are several coins that can compete with ETH this or maybe next year.
XLM with a new ICO (Ternio) proved nice stability during January disaster.
NEO as a new platform for ICOs - and here come one of the most interesting ICOs this year - Neonexchange, Effect and Bridge protocol.
ICX - a huge support from Korean government and also the idea is pretty good - "hyperconnect the world"

Some people predict that there will be more DIP before Chinese New Year, maybe to 5k, but I dont think so, there has been a huge support on 6k, I believe we see 8-9k during Feruary and then bullish trend in March.

I'm not sure if we can trust any of TA right now. The crash is happening just too fast. There should be a strong support at 5.5 - 5k, but who knows? The chinese and korean are selling too fast..

I would buy definitely NEO, XLM and ICX. From low marketcaps I like ECC the most, hard-working team, only 1 exchange, really undervaluated coin.
NEO and XLM have really nice ICOs this year.

Well, I think we have to admit that is mayb more than just a regular correction. A lot of pleaople write - this happens every January / every time before chinese New Year. But the fact is that this is most significant correction of BTC and the market (by the means of %) sice Summer 2014 - which is PRETTY long time! How long do you think that market will recover from this huge DIP? If there will be even worse crash before the chinese New Year, I guess it will be recovaring mayb the whole Spring.

I vote for ONION, it has really really low marketcap for the potential it has. For 5 USD now it's almost for free. DeepVault and DeepSend are amazing, the community is strong, they have the only quality airdrop ever. It has real potential to grow when the market comes to normal levels.
